60 years from a near drowning experience

at the time and i was just in this

little home group you know and

and the lord said don’t let him leave i

want you to pray for him

um but you need to pray for his heart so

that his heart can be prepared to

receive the miracle

uh for his legs and so i i reached out

to the guy said

he said hey les i need to pray for you

and uh you know god’s saying he wants to

well here is a man with 60 years from

the near drowning incident

he was only seven years old when it

happened if i remember correctly

and uh and the lord said i want i want

you to pray for him so i said i need to

he was he was putting on his coat he was

getting ready to hobble out the door he

had these um special braces on his arm

uh and and hold and one of them held it

was metal brackets holding his leg

because it was only half the size or so

on one side

and you know he he said forget about my

legs that was his response to

well i don’t pray for you he wants to

bring healing into your legs

and his response immediately was forget

and then the lord said pray for his

heart because hope deferred makes the

sad and a sad heart has a hard time

so i want to heal his heart so that he

can be prepared to receive the miracle

your heart and god’s going to do work in

legs so i i ground his leg like this you

and because his heart was touched he let

and so then you know you have to have a

strategy sometimes god just needs to

one step and then we’re sensitive to

just take that

one step and that leads to an unlocked

door and the miracles can take place

anyway pray for his leg his leg got so

hot that that metal brace holding his

uh that that metal brace heated up and

it was actually starting to burn his leg

it was holding really come on there he

had to go to the restroom

and he had to take off his pants and he

had to pull off the bracket

because the bracket was it was it was

getting tight and it was burning his

leg anyway it was pretty incredible you

i think it was a few days after um my

phone was ringing and people were saying

you know who said that prayer who prayed

for him who initiated that prayer

and the lord told me don’t take credit

healed him i just i did the praying and

i included everybody else to pray so it

was our collective prayer

and it was only by the name of jesus

that this man can see

uh this kind of a miracle and i said so

and people looked at him and said what

what happened to him because he was so

incredibly touched by the spirit of god

and so those kinds of miracles are going

to become commonplace for those who walk

and who just believe god those who trust

in the lord will do great exploits in

the people aren’t going to be healed

so we we have a responsibility to carry

normal and in this third great awakening

more and more people are going to

recognize it’s not just for the

the the superheroes they’ve been

watching on these programs it’s the

it’s the work of the believing believer

everyone can operate in the miraculous

that everyone can learn to hear the

voice of god not everyone’s the same

and that’s a good thing we’re not all

supposed to be the same does the hand

we all need to be engaging god on a

regular basis staying hungry

in our pursuit so that we’re

automatically resisting the devil

and then he flees and we win and it just

that we don’t have to fight so hard to

try to keep away from just focus on the

that when she was five years old and my
