[We] are possessors of a vast gene pool consisting of many different racial memory banks, also consisting of at least 22 different races.

The Draconians and the Paa Tal

The Alpha Draconians, a reptilian race composed of master geneticists, tinker with life – which from their perspective exists as a natural resource. The Draconians look at lifeforms which they have created or altered as a natural resource. Apparently, the Alpha Draconians created the primate race, which was first brought to Mars and then to Earth.

The primate race was then tinkered with by many other different races – 21 other races – resulting in the primate race having been modified 22 times. This primate race eventually became Homo Sapien Sapiens. – who we are on a physical level. Yes, we used to have 12 strands of DNA. Ten strands were taken out by a group from Orion in order to control us and hold us back. Why would they want to hold us back?

The reason the Orion group wanted to hold us back was because they found out who we were on a soul level. Again, according to the Andromedans, we humans are part of a group of energies that they know of as the Paa Tal. The reason that the Andromedans use the word Paa Tal, which is by the way a Draconian word, is because the Draconians have legends about warring with a race that was creating human life forms that were opposed to Draconian philosophy. The Paa Tal created life forms that could evolve on their own, with free expression. The Draconians, on the other hand, created races to function as a natural resource for their pleasure. So, you have two very different philosophies.

“I have shared the information that I was asked to.  I don’t sell anything.  I was told by the Andromedans not to make a business of this in any way. And so I haven’t.   I have tried very hard to keep a low profile and protect my family from hurt and prejudice, by those who don’t give a damn about my family. All they want is to keep their name in lights and beat their chest, by declaring they have the secret and they are the only ones with the truth.  That Mr. Billy Meier is the only contactee in the entire world. That’s the lie, Ladies and Gentlemen.  Billy is not and nor has he ever been the only one.”

“That we, as a product of extraterrestrial genetic manipulation, are possessors of a vast gene pool consisting of many different racial memory banks, also consisting of at least 22 different races. Because of our genetic heritage, and because we are spirit, the benevolent extraterrestrial races actually view us as being royalty.”

3. Extraterrestrial Races Outside of the Military-Industrial-Extraterrestrial Complex

On February 20, 1954, a delegation of ‘human looking’ extraterrestrial races met with the Eisenhower administration in an unsuccessful effort to reach an agreement on the US’s thermonuclear nuclear weapons program. [65] The apparent stumbling block was that these extraterrestrial races were not willing to provide technology that might be used by the military-industrial interests that dominated the Eisenhower administration and set the tone for subsequent extraterrestrial – human dialogue. The principled opposition of this group of extraterrestrials to being co-opted into an emerging military-industrial-extraterrestrial complex (MIEC) marks an important indicator of a large grouping of ‘human’ extraterrestrial races who lie outside of the web of interlocking interests that make up the MIEC in the U.S. and elsewhere on the planet.

This second category of extraterrestrial races is primarily ‘human’ and can easily integrate with human society in the manner described by Dean and others where they can be indistinguishable from the rest of humanity. [66] These races are described to be from star systems such as Lyra, Vega, Pleiades, Sirius, Procyon, Tau Ceti, Ummo, Andromeda and Arcturus who have provided some of the genetic material for the seeding of humanity on Earth. [67] According to Alex Collier, a total of 22 extraterrestrial races have provided genetic material for the ‘human experiment’. These include Reptilian, Gray and Anunnaki races described earlier as well as those races in this second group which Collier describes as ‘benevolent’:

That we, as a product of extraterrestrial genetic manipulation, are possessors of a vast gene pool consisting of many different racial memory banks, also consisting of at least 22 different races. Because of our genetic heritage, and because we are spirit, the benevolent extraterrestrial races actually view us as being royalty. [68]

As a result of this genetic linkage, the extraterrestrials in this group outside of the MIEC apparently view humanity in much the way a protective parent might view an adolescent son/daughter in a dangerous environment. [69] The vital interests of races in this category are to ensure that global humanity evolves in a responsible way without endangering both itself and the greater galactic community of which it is part.

There are two parts to this grouping of extraterrestrials. The first are ‘extraterrestrials’ that have historically inhabited the Earth’s subterranean dwellings, and are described as remnants of ancient human civilization that followed a separate evolutionary path to surface humanity. The second are extraterrestrials that have ‘off-world’ origins but have humanoid features to the extent that some of them can easily intermingle with the rest of humanity without being easily identified.

More on the history of the Zenetaen Civilization [DSG, Ch 6]:

Val: Has the Zenetaen skin color always been blue?

Alex: No. It was red at one time. Their original forefathers were red-skinned, and I am told that the Lyraens and Vegans were red-skinned at that time.

Val: How did the progression begin to where the skin color changed to blue?

Alex: Apparently it had to do with a pigmentation change caused by the ingestion of certain minerals…

Val: Copper based minerals.

Alex: It was in the food and everything they ate, and the double sun had an effect on this too. You have to remember something here. We are talking about fifth density beings, not third density, so you have the additional three color spectrums. I always try to take that into account when comparing them to us. They do literally live in another frequency.

What might this new hidden code from Wilton Windmill mean? Clearly it would appear to represent a countdown of some kind, since Euler’s general formula resembles a “clock” more than anything else in mathematics. Likewise the four vanes of a nearby windmill would seem to suggest “a clock hand turning”. And when the hands of that clock reach an angle equal to 180 degrees, or pi in radians, then Euler’s general formula goes to zero as for Euler’s Identity:

    3-2-1-(0)

After some discussion with my colleagues, a general consensus seems to be that we may be approaching the end of an age in late 2012. In other words, those crop artists seem to be reminding us that there are now only three years left until the Mayan Fifth Sun ends in December of 2012, and a new Sixth Sun begins:

Alex talked in depth and with passion about the problems and challenges that we all face looking towards the future from 2009 – and introduces an intriguing new concept: mentoring in co-operation with our ET allies.

Q: This scenario that you are laying out before us exists on this timeline.

What have the Andromedans said about any parallel timeline where this doesn’t happen?

    A: They haven’t said anything.

I know that there are parallel realities, and I know that several parallel realities concerning Earth are already in existence on higher octaves above us.

I know that on one of these parallel realities the New World Order is already established and exists.

The Nazi flag flies over the whole world.

I want you to know that as third density begins to implode, that all of those realities will begin moving and merging into this original timeline, which is the reality from which the other ones were created.

All the other parallel timelines will be returning to Source.

The Andromedans have said that the New World Order will come into reality here, but only for a short time as we keep moving.

As long as we stick together and help one another, and as long as we have mutual respect for each other, we will not slow down our process as we move up into the higher dimension and consciousness of world unity in our free will.

Not being forced at the point of a gun to do it.

Not having to relinquish your right to do it.

Here in the United States, a lot of people are worried about the Russians, the Hong Kong police and the New World Order.

Let me tell you something, folks.

You are losing your country in the court room every day.

It’s in the court room, with corrupt judges and institutionalized corruption, and will tell you this.

*** If you allow the Congress and the President to take away the second amendment, you will lose all your other rights. ***

I don’t believe in carrying a gun and killing anyone, but the founding fathers knew about corruption, and they knew about tyranny, and the reason the second amendment is there is to protect all the other rights.

Until we consciously make the shift and change everybody else’s perspective, I am afraid from my perspective that its a necessary evil.

    But, that’s my perspective, Ok?

You have done so much in so short a time, but you have to understand that when you have a Draconian or Orion belief system, there is no such thing as free will and self-rule in their control.

The reason we have been able to get away with it for so long is because we are out here on the rim of the galaxy, in the boondocks.

They are just now starting to come around and realize that the consciousness of the planet is starting to change.

It is what has attracted a lot of the races to this place right now.

What also attracted them was our use of nuclear weapons, which not only affect third density, but also fourth and fifth.

It send a shock wave through there, and we were totally irresponsible in our ignorance.

We didn’t know what we were doing, and that is why a lot of the races began to show up en masse to find out what was going on down here.

Again, I only have pieces of the puzzle.

    http://www.businessweek.com/news/2010-06-06/bp-increased-oil-capture-rate-to-10-500-barrels-a-day-update2-.html

    June 6 (Bloomberg) —

BP Plc said it increased the amount of oil being captured from its leaking well in the Gulf of Mexico to 10,500 barrels a day from 6,077 barrels in the previous 24-hour period ending at midnight June 4.

The well is estimated by government scientists to be gushing 12,000 to 19,000 barrels a day into the Gulf.

The spill is the worst oil spill in U.S. history.

  15. rosettasister Says:

Cap Reported to Recover 10,000 Barrels of Oil a Day

    http://elpasoinc.com/readArticleNYT.aspx?guid=FTP_NYTNS___W-USA_936504_1.xml

Oil is still escaping through four vents on the top of the cap, designed to relieve pressure and not overstress the containment system.

Admiral Allen said that if the vents were closed too quickly, cold sea water could rush in and form the kind of icy hydrates that doomed a previous attempt to cap the spill.

The admiral had initially said that they hoped to begin closing the vents on Friday.

But on Saturday he said that they had been unable to do so because the pressure inside the containment cap might become so great that oil would blast through the imperfect seal connecting it to the riser pipe.

“The want to raise that up to the maximum extent possible, on a daily basis, and then slowly start turning off those vents where the oil is coming out of right now when they’re sure that they don’t have sea water coming in.” he said.

The 6,000 barrels were recovered from midnight Thursday to midnight Friday, he said, and the goal of the capping operation is to push production to 15,000 barrels a day, which is the capacity of the ship above the damaged well.

    ***

“they hoped to begin closing the vents on Friday … But they had been unable to do so”

(I’m confused, so they’re capturing all of this oil WITHOUT closing the vents?)

  16. rosettasister Says:

Gulf containment cap closely watched in 2nd day

    http://www.thedickinsonpress.com/event/article/id/36632/group/homepage/

The next step is for engineers at BP PLC to attempt to close vents on the cap that were deliberately allowing streams of oil to escape the system so water cannot get inside.

When water and gas combined in an earlier containment box, it formed a frozen slush that foiled the system.

The federal government’s point man for the response, Coast Guard Adm. Thad Allen, said the goal is to gradually increase the amount of the oil being captured.

He compared the process to stopping the flow of water from a garden hose with a finger:

“You don’t want to put your finger down too quickly, or let it off too quickly.”

This video expose does what so many conservatives have been reluctant to say – that there is a birth certificate conspiracy and we know who is behind it.

All it takes are two people to make one, and I’ve named the four groups who conspired to hide Obama’s real birth certificate and pass off a fake one instead to deceive and defraud the American public.

The video clearly explains the rationale for doing it, the propaganda they used to pull it off, and the campaign they have mounted to discredit conservatives.

OH, WHAT A TANGLED WEB WE WEAVE WHEN IF, AT FIRST, WE TRY TO DECEIVE.

There are a few Rules of Thumb when it comes to separating lies from the truth. For one thing, lies are not self-perpetuating.

They require people and subsequent lies to keep them going.

Politifact proved that fact in spades by repeatedly running a rumor they created, that “Obama’s middle name is Muhammed” and repeatedly using it to lie about Obama all throughout 2008.

While everyone else was talking about Obama’s birth certificate as evidence of his birth in Hawaii, Politifact was using it to further “debunk” their bogus middle name rumor.

(Didn’t see the videos on it? How about bookmarking FR for later, and watching them now?)

Secondly, no matter how long it takes, a lie will eventually be discovered.

Lastly, the bigger the lie, the more subsequent lies are required to keep it hidden.

The lie about Obama’s birth certificate is so big that conspiracy theories alone cannot explain it.

It is so big that it takes the resources of the entire liberal media to defend its alleged legitimacy.

For two long years, we have witnessed the biggest case of identity fraud in US history, along with the most pervasive corruption and collusion among government officials, lawmakers, politicians, and media members.

Against this backdrop of graft, bribery, extortion, and secrecy, what makes the birth certificate lie so egregious are the people and groups behind it

    – those who have sought to engender our trust and then have proceeded to shatter it.

Obama’s popularity has sunk like an anchor – and his liberal cohorts in Congress have faired even worse.

THAT cannot be blamed on Bush, Birthers, or even on a bogus birth certificate.

It is only a matter of time before we find out the whole truth about Obama’s birth narrative.

The big lie about Obama’s birth certificate is about to bite the dust!

    There is more.

Even if we refrain from coming to unequivocal conclusions on this file, it seems almost certain that his records must contain damaging information that could bring his presidency into serious, if not terminal disrepute.

How else would one explain the fact that his university transcripts and his records as an Illinois state legislator, like his “long-form” birth certificate, are inaccessible and that Obama has hired a team of lawyers to make sure they remain that way?

This behavior is completely unprecedented in POTUS annals, and he should be duly challenged on it.

    Requiring Obama to open his dossier is not a sign of conspiratorial suspicions;

it is quite simply a civil responsibility and the most reasonable of demands since this is precisely what all U.S. presidents should do and have done.

Shirking this responsibility, however, is largely a symptom of either moral cowardice or false propriety, irrespective of how it may be embroidered for public consumption or self-protection.

Of course, there are some who demur out of a sense of fundamental decency which, we might note, goes unreciprocated by the president and his team.

    (touché!)

    So the obvious questions are:

Why has Obama not consented to this request?

Why does he not dispel suspicion by making his papers available to the public if he has nothing to fear?

What makes him noli me tangere?

What is he reluctant to shed light upon?

Why is the debate about his origins not stopped dead in its tracks by the publication of valid, irrefutable documentation?

And why are those who ask these logical and totally justifiable questions dismissed as madmen and conspiracy theorists?

The conspiracy, it would seem, travels the other way.

    And the farce goes on.

He added that there would be room in the county jail for any influx of new inmates.

Arpaio was among the speakers at a rally in Phoenix held in support of SB 1070.

The Arizona Republic said the event drew about 2,000 people despite sweltering heat that topped 100 degrees.

Shade was at a premium and two people were treated for heat-related problems.

In a recent interview with The Arizona Republic, Pearce acknowledged his relationship with Ready but said he has severed his ties with him.

And he said he couldn’t do anything about extremist groups who use illegal immigration to make their own toxic political hay.

“There is no room for hate in this debate, and there is no room for hate groups in this debate,” Pearce said.

“They do great damage to the cause and the rule of law.”

Pearce said Ready “is absolutely not welcome in our home”

That, however, came as news to Ready, who told The Republic that Pearce has not spoken with him to sever ties.

Ready said he still considers Pearce a political ally.

Pearce acknowledged posing with Ready for a picture at a June 2007 anti-illegal immigration rally at the Capitol but said he has his picture taken with lots of people whose views diverge from his.

“Had my picture taken with a gal that I know for a fact is a lesbian.

I had my picture taken, I’m sure, with several Democrats.

But yet nobody’s accused me of being a lesbian or a Democrat.”

    Trip to Arizona

Arizona’s anti-illegal immigration law was the spark for a promotion by a conservative talkradio station in Columbus, Ohio that gave the winner a trip to Phoenix “where Americans are proud and illegals are scared,” according to the report in the Columbus Dispatch,

which said the prize consisted of round-trip airfare, hotel accommodations, a “few pesos” and the opportunity to “spend a weekend chasing aliens and spending cash in the desert.”

WTVN Program Director Mike Elliott said the promotion was the most popular the station had run, receiving about 5,000 entries.

(By the way, for those of us with long memories, this Mike Elliott is not the same one who did the morning show on KRQ back in the early 1990s.)

The promotion was launched after Columbus Mayor Michael B. Coleman suspended city travel to Arizona to protest the new law.

At 5p ET TODAY, he went on the air and said:

This is BRIAN DYTKO, Station Manager of WTVN with a message regarding our station’s recent “Win a Trip to PHOENIX, ARIZONA” promotional contest.

Our contest was meant as a humorous response to a City of COLUMBUS ban on travel to ARIZONA by city employees.

In fact, a key element of the promotion was that city employees were specifically invited to enter the contest.

We regret that our promotional copy has been characterized as condoning violence.

This was not our intent, and we do not condone violence of any kind.

The measure congratulates Arizona lawmakers and Gov. Jan Brewer for “their actions to protect their citizens and the borders of our great nation.”

The Arizona law requires authorities to enforce the federal law, notifying the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) if a person is reasonably suspected of being in the country illegally.

“It’s the job of our federal government to protect and secure our borders in this country,” said Tracy.

“That job has simply not been done and the people in Arizona have known that for a long time.

So, I commend the state of Arizona for stepping up and doing what they have to do while the Obama-Pelosi administration has refused to act.

“I also commend my fellow legislators in both the Senate and the House for lending their voices on behalf of the overwhelming majority of Tennesseans.

The people of this state understand the battle Arizonians have faced in the fight against both illegal immigration and the hypocritical, incompetent politicians in Washington, D.C.

“We must get back to the basics and take care of this illegal immigration fiasco immediately.

It’s time to show leadership on this issue and stop the double-talking, political correctness, and coddling of illegal aliens.”

  42. rosettasister Says:

    Excerpted from above article:

    AC = Alex Collier

For the first time you begin to think: Well jeez, what would it look like not to have a currency? You know?

Advanced civilizations: all their needs are taken care of.

All of their standard day-to-day life needs are met by the government, no strings attached, and then you donate your time and your expertise and your skills to do something you want that benefits the whole.

I’m not talking about communism, either.

It’s something bigger than that, but we need some help in defining what that is.

AC: The Law of Consistency is that every truth is spoken, everyone is forgiven, there is no monetary system.

There is an absolutely free healthcare system, but it has nothing to do with pharmaceuticals. [applause]

It has to do with color, light, and sound, which is what we are, even in our physicality: color, light, and sound.

It has to do with the advancement of the soul.

We have a damaged DNA structure, so when we reincarnate, we do not always remember things.

There are people who do great jobs doing past life regression and people can pull some of those pieces.

But to have cognizant memory when you come back into physicality is something we don’t have presently.

They have that because they don’t have a damaged DNA structure.

Can our DNA structures be repaired? According to them, absolutely yes, but we need to make some changes.

We need to create the space for us to be free enough to explore those possibilities.

We cannot do that with the power structure that’s in existence today, so we need to create another Domain of Knowing, and that begins with yourselves.

The love that you withhold is the pain that you carry lifetime after lifetime.

It all begins with us, each one of us individually.

AC: It is believed that an ancient race – some of them call them The Founders, other cultures call them the Paa Tal – created not only the wormholes, but created most of the physicality in what we know as our universe.

Because, as they travel, they are finding civilizations and the ruins of civilizations far beyond anything that even they know…

and we’re talking fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, tenth-density space travelers

who are traveling not only in, and moving in, our physicality and other physicalities, but even their own.

The wormholes is the best example that I’ve been given.

No one, no advanced space race has any idea how they were actually built, but we know that they exist.

In fact, there are several that have snapped, connecting our Galaxy to some of the other nearby Galaxies.

They’ve snapped and no one knows how to fix them because we don’t even know how they were built.

  43. rosettasister Says:

“All of their standard day-to-day life needs are met by the government, no strings attached”

There’s no such thing as a free lunch, at least not in our physicality, as Mr. Collier terms it.

Mr. Collier is a big fan of our Founding Fathers and believes in the safeguards they put in place to keep the Tyrant at bay.

What Mr. Collier is describing sounds like heaven, and heaven does not exist here on earth.

    Not yet, anyway.

  44. rosettasister Says:

One more observation on Alex Collier.

Even if he speaks the truth, he is only capable of describing his interpretation of his own experiences.

He readily admits that his is an evolving perfection and the same holds true for his mentors.

So, I ask the same questions I’ve asked before.

    Is Creation an evolving perfection?

And if it is, then does the same hold true for our Creator?

Meantime, here on earth, we need smaller government and less debt.

And we need to set our people free.

    Fear is not Love.

    I agree with that.

So I will love my brother Obama and do everything in my power to keep him from making a tragic mistake.

    In spite of himself.

BP: 11,100 Barrels Of Oil Collected From US Gulf Leak Sunday

    http://www.nasdaq.com/aspx/stock-market-news-story.aspx?storyid=201006071047dowjonesdjonline000230&title=bp11100-barrels-of-oil-collected-from-us-gulf-leak-sunday

BP PLC (BP) said it continued to increase the rate of oil it collected from the mile-deep leak in the Gulf of Mexico on Sunday, bringing up 11,100 barrels of crude to a ship on the surface.

The company on Saturday had funneled up 10,500 barrels, which was well up from the just over 6,000 barrels it managed to collect the previous day.

The relative success of the containment capping procedure follows a string of failures to reduce the amount of oil that has been gushing into the Gulf for more than six weeks.

In an update on its website, the London-based oil company also said it flared off 22 million cubic feet of gas that had been brought up to a ship on the surface, Transocean Ltd.’s (RIG) Discoverer Enterprise.

That ship and the containment system in place now can process 15,000 barrels of oil a day, and the vessel can hold up to 137,000 barrels, BP has said.

“Optimization continues and improvement in oil collection is expected over the next few days,” the London-based company said in its website update.

This ” optimization” consists of slowly closing vents on top of the containment cap that was placed over the leaking well late Thursday.

Although these vents allow oil and gas to continue to escape into the waters of the Gulf, they are designed to prevent the formation of ice-like crystals called natural-gas hydrates.

A build-up of these hydrates, which form when frigid seawater combines with natural gas molecules, derailed an earlier attempt to contain the leak.

    Oil spill assessment grim

    http://www.postbulletin.com/newsmanager/templates/localnews_story.asp?z=49&a=455952

The only solution to the problem would be the successful completion of relief wells to finally stop the flow from the bottom of the 18,000-foot-deep well, a job that will not be completed until August at the earliest.

Officials said Sunday that they were collecting more than 10,000 barrels a day from the well, but it was impossible to gauge what fraction of the total flow that represented.

By nightfall Saturday the engineers suddenly were forced to deal with another problem:

the Discoverer Enterprise drill ship can only handle 15,000 barrels a day, and the capping device was trapping almost that amount without the vents shut.

”We’re maxed out,” said the technician working on the operation, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak publicly.

He said the capping device was capturing 10,000 to 15,000 barrels a day.

  50. rosettasister Says:

BP chief executive’s, Tony Hayward, in a British television interview broadcast Sunday, said another containment device would be deployed by next weekend.

That device is a free-standing riser pipe that would siphon oil through the manifold that was built during a failed operation known as top kill.

Another pipe also will be used to take oil from the well to a second container ship, the Q4000.

  51. rosettasister Says:

Allen said BP was moving a second vessel, called the Q4000, to join the Discover Enterprise to boost capacity to a combined 20,000 barrels a day, and to close the venting valves on the containment cap.

Once the wellhead is completely capped – BP’s collecting ships cannot yet process the full amount of oil escaping – the actual flow rate of oil can be determined.

I know most of you will not read all of this article, so im going to put the meat first:

It has been advanced that both papers printed identical lists as the general rule.

As I mentioned before, this was pointed out to add more “weight” to the (ahem) proof these newspaper birth announcements lend to obama’s birth story.

As it turns out it was done more or less sporadically.

You see, when I decide to research something I don’t do a half- assed job of it.

So I pulled a sample size of ten days from each paper.

I began the splendidly tedious process of comparing the incidence of the same birth announcements being listed in both papers.

Mainly with an eye towards how often they matched in exact order.

The only time this occurred in that particular way within the ten days that I researched, was on the dates that had obama’s birth announcements.

The world’s monetary authorities are expecting a flight from the dollar on Monday, and the Fed is ready to provide the dollars.

One could argue that the eurozone was founded on a central flaw: cheaters like Greece who spend beyond the debt limitations set by the ECB.

Of course the main flaw is that none of the participant understand the flaw of spending beyond tax receipts.

At some point the currency and the sovereign’s bonds will be challenged because holders of sovereign debt fear sovereign default.

It happens all the time and Greece has defaulted in the past.

This time they can’t print money to solve the problem.

Don’t think it can’t happen here.

Many of the EC countries are right up there, including Greece (10th of about 70 countries).

Which means it might be hard for them to raise and collect more taxes.

It also looks as if they will have a difficult time cutting spending.

Will the tax hikes coming out of Washington result in economic collapse?

Arthur Laffer, of Laffer Investments, and James Altucher, of Formula Capital, share their views with CNBC’s Larry Kudlow.

  76. rosettasister Says:

    JUNE 6, 2010.

Tax Hikes and the 2011 Economic Collapse

Today’s corporate profits reflect an income shift into 2010. These profits will tumble next year, preceded most likely by the stock market.

    http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052748704113504575264513748386610.html

In 1981, Ronald Reagan—with bipartisan support—began the first phase in a series of tax cuts passed under the Economic Recovery Tax Act (ERTA), whereby the bulk of the tax cuts didn’t take effect until Jan. 1, 1983.

Reagan’s delayed tax cuts were the mirror image of President Barack Obama’s delayed tax rate increases.

For 1981 and 1982 people deferred so much economic activity that real GDP was basically flat (i.e., no growth), and the unemployment rate rose to well over 10%.

But at the tax boundary of Jan. 1, 1983 the economy took off like a rocket, with average real growth reaching 7.5% in 1983 and 5.5% in 1984.

It has always amazed me how tax cuts don’t work until they take effect.

*** Mr. Obama’s experience with deferred tax rate increases will be the reverse. ***

The economy will collapse in 2011.

Consider corporate profits as a share of GDP.

Today, corporate profits as a share of GDP are way too high given the state of the U.S. economy.

These high profits reflect the shift in income into 2010 from 2011.

These profits will tumble in 2011, preceded most likely by the stock market.

In 2010, without any prepayment penalties, people can cash in their Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs), Keough deferred income accounts and 401(k) deferred income accounts.

After paying their taxes, these deferred income accounts can be rolled into Roth IRAs that provide after-tax income to their owners into the future.

Given what’s going to happen to tax rates, this conversion seems like a no-brainer.

*** The result will be a crash in tax receipts once the surge is past. ***

If you thought deficits and unemployment have been bad lately, you ain’t seen nothing yet.

    ***

Deepwater Horizon: BP outlines plans to manage spill flow

    http://www.pennenergy.com/index/petroleum/display/1130029682/articles/offshore/deepwater-horizon/2010/06/deepwater-horizon9.html

The cap is capturing more than 11,000 b/d of oil, he says, and he expects that number to increase as experience in operating it increases.

The next move, Wells says, is a direct connection to the Q4000 via the top kill manifold.

    This is anticipated by mid-June.

And that sets the stage for another system installation expected by the end of June.

This system would have a sealing valve on top of the flowing well and would produce through a floating riser connection.

This gives the operation some flexibility to stop operations in the event of a storm and then to return once the storm is passed to reconnect to the floating riser.

    (Click link to view schematics.)

Schematic of how the Q4000 direct connection to the well flow would be accomplished.

This is a schematic of the longer term plans to have a system in place that could deal with the arrival of a storm in the Gulf during the time required to complete the relief well.

  78. rosettasister Says:

    http://www.laredosun.us/notas.asp?id=7866

BP said Monday it had spent at least 1.25 billion dollars on the Gulf of Mexico oil spill as it continued its efforts to contain the leak.

As part of a previous pledge to fund six berms in the Louisiana barrier islands project, at a cost of 360 million dollars, BP meanwhile announced it would make an immediate payment of 60 million dollars to the state of Louisiana.

And the energy giant is looking at hurricane-resistant methods for siphoning up oil in the event that a major storm strikes before a relief well can be built, officials said.

“We’re looking at different options… that would allow us to stay longer and reduce down time” should a major storm strike, said Kent Wells, BP’s senior vice president, at a press briefing.

He said a more durable “direct connect” would be put in place by mid-June to increase the amount of oil and gas that can be captured from the well.

    EXCERPT

I come to the floor as a physician offering my second opinion just to tell my colleagues and to tell the American people what I have been hearing from talking with people all around the country.

A majority of Americans are pleased with the health care coverage they get from their employers.

But now, because of the President’s new law, companies are considering canceling employees’ coverage because it would be cheaper for them to pay the government’s penalty than to provide health care coverage for their employees.

This is not the change Americans want.

This is not the change Americans can believe in.

This is the change that makes Americans lose sleep at night.

In this economy, with 9.9 percent unemployment, the last thing Americans need is a new law that makes it easier for companies to pay a penalty instead of providing health coverage for their employees.

They’ve spent us into oblivion while all the time telling us it’s OK. It’s not. Here’s the fun part. Government will raise taxes on you.

When you say no, the labor unions — who are in bed with government — will start civil unrest, which government will blame on you.

Seniors don’t need another sales pitch from this Administration. They deserve clarity, transparency and the truth.

My colleagues on the House Ways and Means Committee have called for a full review

As we fight to repeal and replace this ill-conceived overhaul with fiscally responsible, patient-centered alternatives, I will continue to push the Administration to honestly and accurately inform patients and doctors of how they will be affected by the health care bill.

I remain committed to supporting alternatives like A Roadmap for America’s Future,

    http://www.roadmap.republicans.budget.house.gov/

which fixes what’s broken in health care without breaking what’s working.

The Roadmap provides universal access to affordable health coverage, not by expanding government, but by reinforcing the role of consumers – patients – in a truly competitive marketplace.

The plan also takes on the necessary task of restructuring the government’s medical entitlements, making them sustainable for the long term.

    http://www.miamiherald.com/2010/06/08/1669098/gregg-a-wild-card-on-financial.html

Gregg, who’s retiring from the Senate after this year, thinks some features of the legislation that initially passed the Senate and the House of Representatives amount to dangerous liberalism.

He’s unenthusiastic about expanding government oversight of banks and other financial institutions, and creating a powerful new agency to protect consumers’ financial interests.

“This is more of the global agenda of the left to take control of the marketplace and promote their social justice agenda,” Gregg told McClatchy Newspapers in an interview.

Nor does he like a provision that would make it easier for dissidents to offer a counter slate of candidates for election to corporate boards.

Some fear that could expand unions’ influence.

“This is the industrial policy of the social left.”

AEI president Arthur Brooks on The Battle, his defense of the free enterprise system

    EXCERPT

You’ll notice that, I mean, there’s no place in the mainstream media where we’re going to talk for two hours about the virtues, the ethical virtues of the free enterprise system.

    HH: True.

AB: I mean, this is heady stuff, but it’s the stuff of our lives. It’s kind of the life and life for America.

HH: It’s also, by the way, I believe it’s interesting.

I believe people have listened from the start through the end of the two hours, which will come up next segment, waiting to hear more, and that media underestimates phenomenally, substantially, how much Americans are interested in these hugely defining issues right now.

    AB: I think so, too.

I think that’s exactly right, and it’s a great testament, once again, even to the free enterprise system itself that it would look for solutions in media, it would look for messaging solutions like what we see today.

It also is the reason that we’re seeing more and more grassroots activity that are rebelling, openly rebelling right now against the forces, against the 30% coalition forces, to continue to subjugate the interest of the 70% majority as regards our freedom and enterprising system.

HH: And I want to thank you on behalf of the Tea Party people who listen, that you defend the Tea Party against the slanders directed at them based by elites who have no context, especially that CNN reporter.

I’m so glad you got that, Arthur Brooks, because I played it a lot on the show, when she began to rebuke a Tea Partier who wanted to talk about the founding fathers’ philosophy, and she said don’t you realize that there’s like a giveaway involved.

AB: Don’t you realize, sir, that you’re eligible for a tax cut?

    HH: It was…

AB: It’s really astonishing, you know, that we’re unable to, unable to see this reality.

And last week, I had a piece in the Wall Street Journal that talks about how our elite policy makers, how they look down on the town hall protesters and the Tea Partiers, not understanding that

*** the Tea Party protesters are an example of American exceptionalism ***

In the United States, that what Tocqueville called us the freest people in the world, ideas actually bubble up from the people.

And so what I’m doing here in The Battle, I’m intellectualizing certain things, but you know, this stuff, these aren’t my ideas.

I mean, people have been marching around with signs, people who’d never been to a demonstration in their lives, who simply sensed that something is wrong in their country, and they’re willing to go to a demonstration.

    It’s actually heroic.

    EXCERPT

What did people so love about this book?

People understood it — Hayek’s claims such as:

“Man does not and cannot know everything, and when he acts as if he does, disaster follows,” make good, common sense.

Hayek explained that capitalism is the only system of economics compatible with human dignity, prosperity, and liberty.

He demonstrated that planned economies that tried to control the nature of man through administrative rules was impossible, and could only lead to one outcome:

    Serfdom.

And the message spread like a ripple on a pond.

Soon, terms like “collectivism” were erased from political debate, and anyone defending government central planning was discredited.

This book was like a Mike Tyson (in his prime) right hook to socialism in Western Europe and in the United States.

But its influence didn’t stop there. It has inspired political and economic leaders for decades since — most famously Ronald Reagan.

Reagan often praised Hayek when he talked about people waking up to the dangers of big government.

    That brings us to today.

While I was viewing these videos, an interesting thought occurred to me about the role Glenn Beck is playing in our society.

David Horowitz and others have been warning us about the extreme left wing bias in academia.

I’ve described what it was like having a Middle East professor who was in favor of the nation-state of Israel not existing anymore.

This shouldn’t surprise anyone any longer.

But this was 1991 – 1993 and I was shocked and not afraid to stand up to him.

Well, I wonder if Mr. Beck isn’t playing the role of standing up to academia on a national scale.

Conservative professors are outnumbered, but college students can turn on Glenn Beck and get a daily dose of American and World History from a perspective founded upon, well, the Founding Fathers.

And Founding Mothers. Let’s not forget them.
