Stigmatizzato

I mezzi di comunicazione tacciono sull’esistenza e sugli avvistamenti delle astronavi.

The media are silent on the existence and sightings of spaceships.

In una delle principali profezie maya si parla del contatto con il cosmo.

In one of the major Mayan prophecies speak of contact with the cosmos.

Dal sistema di calcolo del tempo adottato da questa civiltà si evince che dal 1991 in poi gli avvistamenti si sarebbero verificati in massa, per condurci al contatto globale.

From the system of calculating the time taken by this civilization shows that since 1991 the sightings have occurred in the mass, to bring us to contact global.

Sono successi fatti eclatanti dal 1991 in poi, ma nessuno ne parla.

Striking successes are made from 1991 onwards, but nobody talks about.

Negli USA sono aumentati gli avvistamenti, anche di massa di questi mezzi che hanno un sistema di spostamento totalmente distinto dai nostri aerei.

In the United States have increased sightings, including a mass of these systems that have a navigation system completely separate from our aircraft.

Le astronavi si sono mostrate nei cieli e nell’avvicinamento alla terra si sono bruciati dei condensatori, alcune centrali elettriche sono andate in tilt e intere cittadine in black out.

The spacecraft is approaching are shown in the heavens and the earth were burned capacitors, some power plants have gone haywire and black out entire towns.

In Turchia di recente è stato registrato un video di uno di questi mezzi molto grande dove si evidenziano con chiarezza due teste, la cui forma è riconducibile al cranio tipico dei grigi, quasi a voler farsi riprendere.

In Turkey, was recently recorded a video of one of these very large vehicles where they clearly show two heads, whose shape is due to the skull of the typical gray, as if to be filmed.

Su Canale 5 è stato trasmesso un video ripreso da tre militari a due passi dalla Basilica di San Pietro.

On Channel 5 broadcast a video was filmed by three soldiers a few steps from St. Peter’s Basilica.

Interessante il fatto che questo sia accaduto vicino al Vaticano e che queste tre persone siano militari, addetti ai lavori in grado di distinguere l’avvistamento di un mezzo terrestre o no in condizioni di volo,…c’è una causalità in questo.

Interesting that this happened near the Vatican and that these three people are military experts can distinguish the sighting of land half or not in flight conditions, in this … there is a causality.

Anche nel cielo della Cina un grosso mezzo di origine sconosciuta ha bloccato per ore il traffico aereo di un aeroporto e la televisione ha reso noto l’evento.

Even in the sky of China, a major means of unknown origin has blocked traffic for hours at an airport and television reported the event.

In Cina si sta ben attenti alle dichiarazioni che si rilasciano, vige ancora il reato di superstizione, ma è stato realizzato un video di questo fatto eclatante che ha fatto il giro delle televisioni del mondo, compresa l’Italia.

China is well aware that the statements are released, there is still the crime of superstition, but was made a video of this glaring fact that has made the rounds of television stations in the world, including Italy.

Another fact: 29 September last six veterans of other U.S. spokesmen said they had found 120 of these ships fly their skies, and declared that in some cases have caused problems for some nuclear facilities.

Questa la dichiarazione rilasciata in corso di conferenza stampa: gli UFO sorvolano le basi militari della Nato in USA e in Europa.

This statement made during a press conference: UFOs flying over military bases of NATO in the U.S. and Europe.

Non è finita qui: sempre nel corso di quest’anno, il 13 ottobre negli USA è stata ripresa da un gruppo di persone una eclatante astronave.”

There’s more: more this year, Oct. 13 in the U.S. was picked up by a group of striking a ship. “

In Italy, Antonio Urzi is making new movies in recent days and Pier Giorgio presents the filming of its most impressive sights, such as that of Milan in broad daylight along with other witnesses and a video camera at that moment that the RAI was in the same place.

Antonio e Simona Urzi considerano Giorgio Bongiovanni come una guida spirituale, un consigliere; spesso accade che quest’ultimo gli dice in anticipo di prepararsi a filmare le astronavi di questi visitatori provenienti dal Cosmo.

Antonio Urzi Simona and Giorgio Bongiovanni considered as a spiritual guide, an advisor, it frequently happens that the latter told him in advance to prepare to film the ships of these visitors from outer space.

George took the floor and lists all the possibilities that the brothers of light offer to our humanity: to heal all diseases, clean up the planet, solving the problems of hunger and thirst, solve problems arising from the accumulation of waste and waste radioactive … but at the same time launches a provocation and asks: “Do you think that all this can produce profit and interest to the powerful, the military, the arms manufacturers, multinationals?!? That’s the only place where one finds agree, including religions: secret visit and the extraterrestrial presence on our planet. “

Antonio Urzi is a UFO catalyst who continually has UFO sightings every day in his home in Italy, his wife is also a UFO contactee.

http://www.openminds.tv/antonio-urzi-the-ufo-catalyst/

Any serious researcher knows that a selective factor in this field of study is the “strangeness coefficient” of a case, the highest it is the more is worthy any effort to ascertain its authenticity. The great oddity of the Urzi affair is evident. Too many videos, one can say, and too good to be true, one can argue.

However, in several instances, the sighting and Antonio’s ability to film the event occurred in the presence of other witnesses, including professional camera operators of the Italian most important TV networks RAI and Mediaset.

What is really noticeable is that very often wherever Antonio goes to participate to a UFO conference, strange flying objects do appear in the sky in the same time. And this has happened not only in Italy, but in many other locations around the world. The experience continues to repeat itself.

    Soros, Beck, and the Holocaust

    http://www.americanthinker.com/2010/11/soros_beck_and_the_holocaust.html

That’s how such slurs work — a nugget of fact wrapped in endless layers of distortion and innuendo. That is not what Beck is involved in.

As we’ve seen, he retails the story straightforwardly, with no embellishment or speculation.

He withholds judgment on grounds of moral discretion and implicitly encourages others to do the same.

Then why mention the story at all? Because it’s necessary. An honest portrayal of George Soros would be incomplete without it.

There’s an aspect of Soros’ behavior that has gone unexamined and virtually unmentioned: the complete disconnect between his activities as a businessman and his ambitions as a philanthropist.

Soros has, at the very least, skirted financial regulations in most or all of the countries in which he has operated.

He has done worse in France, Malaysia, and Thailand — the French fined him millions, while the Southeast Asian states are reportedly very interested in speaking to him in private.

He has caused enormous misery through his currency manipulations. He evidently feels no guilt concerning these matters, either.

Yet this same man professes to be

the greatest living champion of the “open society,”

the bearer of the legacy of Karl Popper (one of the few liberty-loving political philosophers of the last century), and

the architect of a true people’s democracy, working together with his protégé, Barack Obama.

There’s something terribly wrong here. This is not the way a benefactor of humanity actually behaves.

It’s as if Gandhi financed his independence movement through a network of casinos, or if Martin Luther King sat on the councils of Murder Incorporated.

    What can the explanation be?

I believe that it can be found in Budapest in 1944.

The Holocaust left deep and lasting scars on all who survived it, scars that often acted to cripple their psyches for decades afterward, if not for their entire lifetimes.

It’s highly unlikely that George Soros is an exception.

Did the brutalization of those days find a response in buccaneer raids on the financial markets?

Did the memories of what he was forced to do transform him into one of those creatures who “loves humanity and hates human beings”?

Is he now little more than a shattered clockwork figure attempting in his twilight years to “do good” without the vaguest notion of what such a concept might entail?

I think the argument could be made. I await Glenn Beck’s interpretation with interest.

One thing we can be sure of: the left will not be any happier about it than they are with what they’ve already heard.

‘Gay’ safe-schools czar on way out?

Deficit reduction proposal simply cancels $1.8 billion for office

    http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=227529

Now a recommendation from the Obama-appointed Fiscal Commission to address the nation’s debt is proposing taxpayers save a lot of money by cutting Jennings’ office entirely.

The No. 16 point in the draft document recommending cuts states:

“Eliminate the Office of Safe & Drug Free Schools. In the president’s budget, funding for the Office of Safe and Drug Free Schools is more than double the allocation from 2008. This option eliminates the office, saving about $1.8 billion in 2015.”

    The analysis noted,

“While school safety should be protected, violence and drug abuse are problems that occur far less on school grounds than elsewhere. As CBO points out in the Budget Options Volume 2 report, children are more likely to be victims of violence away from school, and while drug use is more common than violence, it still occurs infrequently on school property.”

It continued with criticism that results haven’t really been seen from Jennings’ operations:

“Further, the results hoped for in creation of the Office of Safe and Drug Free Schools have not been demonstrated.”

The move would save an estimated $1.8 billion, a small part of the $200 billion-plus recommended in savings in the draft document.

Israeli Student Attacked by Palestinians at Italian University – Police Did Niente

    http://womenagainstshariah.blogspot.com/2010/11/israeli-student-attacked-by.html

Islamic radicalsim is boiling over on Europe’s campuses (and all over the developed world), fed by a heady combination of the youthful impressionability and the inchoate critical faculties of the students; and

organised, heavily-funded Islamic Societies and Middle East Studies courses (bankrolled and overseen by the Saudis and the Muslim Brotherhood).

It is compounded by the dominance of the left among teaching staff.

But, just as the police refused to intervene in this case

    – on a wider scale it is clear that such hatred and incitement is not deemed problematic –

unless of course it is a Muslim who is doing the complaining.

Who is speaking out against Muslim antisemitism and hate speech in Europe, apart from perhaps a few bloggers and the Jews themselves?

Had the roles been reversed – and a Jew or Islam-critical European threatened and shouted a similar barrage and abuse at a Muslim student – the entirety of European media and political outrage would have been unleashed.

Yet it seems all we ever do in Europe, when confronted with violent Islamic supremacism is lower our gaze, dismiss such incidents as ‘high spirits’; or walk away.

We are surely cowards, lacking both a moral compass and a sense of identity.

You can thank decades of Leftist self-hatred and multiculturalism in Europe for that.

(We must make sure we do not go down this same path here in America. To be fair, some American Muslims are sounding the warning bell. Of course, our left-leaning media will cry, “Islamophobia!”)

    http://hughhewitt.com/blog/g/d1ad5556-93e4-4932-a39e-004ac0c1dd2e

On Thursday Laffer continued his iconoclastic ways. Here are my notes:

*To stimulate the economy, the Obama administration is seeking to redistribute income.

*But by penalizing productive and rewarding unproductive activity, redistribution drives total income in an economy towards zero.

*The simple fact is that you can’t change the distribution of income without changing the total volume of income, to the harm of everyone.

*Politicians who make decisions in a panic make bad decisions.

*The White House’s attempt to spend the country into prosperity is a decision made in a panic.

*We have had $3.3 trillion in stimulus spending.

*But there can be no stimulus. With government spending, income effects always sum to zero.

*Yet even though the Democratic Obama administration in Washington is a disaster, the incoming Democratic Brown administration in California has great promise.

*Laffer was Brown’s advisor when – long, long ago — Brown ran for president.

*Brown was the first presidential candidate in either political party to endorse the flat tax.

*You have to be ready for his kookiness on a whole range of issues, Laffer said.

*But on economics, he is a hard-line conservative.

*California is strangling itself with no-growth policies.

    GLENN: Yeah.

    STU: That are near you.

GLENN: We have to do that. So anyway, you can what I want you to do is I want you to go through your house.

Because if you have let’s say you have $5,000 worth of stuff in your house that you just don’t use.

You’ve got sitting it’s a gift somebody gave you. Get rid of it. And here’s why. One, pay off your bills.

If you had $5,000 worth of stuff sitting in your house that you don’t use, if you could get rid of it and you could raise $5,000, could you pay off your credit card?

Could you pay down your debt? What could you do with it?

Two, if you had $5,000 and you had paid down your debt, how about food storage?

Could you use $5,000 do you know what you could buy with $5,000 for food storage? Enormous. Enormous amount.

PAT: You get a year’s supply for five people.

GLENN: That’s enormous. Pay it off and get your food storage. People have been asking me, “Glenn, we want answers. What do we do?”

Politically? Politically it’s in Broke. All of the answers that took us a year, over a year to do.

Well, this stuff has taken me about a year to come up with as well and this is just the beginning. First step, get rid of your stuff. Sell it.

The stuff you don’t use, sell it and pay down your debt and do food storage. I would do food storage first.

(Glenn is not the only one pushing preparation. Better safe than sorry.)

    http://www.weeklystandard.com/articles/two-faces-tea-party

Glenn Beck is a Skousenite. During the “We Surround Them” program, he urged his audience to read Skousen’s 5000 Year Leap (1981), for which he has written a foreword, and The Real George Washington (1991).

“The 5000 Year Leap is essential to understanding why our Founders built this Republic the way they did,” the author writes in Glenn Beck’s Common Sense.

More controversially, Beck has recommended Skousen’s Naked Communist (1958) and Naked Capitalist (1970), which lay out the writer’s paranoid scenarios in detail.

The latter book, for example, draws on Carroll Quigley’s Tragedy and Hope (1966), which argues that the history of the 20th century is the product of secret societies in conflict.

“Carroll Quigley laid open the plan in Tragedy and Hope,” says a character in Beck’s new novel, The Overton Window.

“The only hope to avoid the tragedy of war was to bind together the economies of the world to foster global stability and peace.”

For Beck, conspiracy theories are not aberrations. They are central to his worldview.

They are the natural consequence of assuming that the world hangs by a thread, and that everyone is out to get you.

(Not all conspiracy theories are hogwash. Senator Judd Gregg has stated that Obama and Dems are intentionally spending us into oblivion so as to create the environment where a VAT tax will become a matter of necessity. Do you honestly want to call Gregg a conspiracy theorist?!)

Californian well-prepared to be GOP House whip

Kevin McCarthy went out of his way to campaign for colleagues, something they aren’t likely to forget.

    November 14, 2010

    http://articles.latimes.com/2010/nov/14/nation/la-na-mccarthy-20101114

McCarthy’s national profile was raised when he was featured on the cover of the conservative magazine Weekly Standard in 2007 with Cantor and Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) under the headline, “Young Guns of the House GOP.”

As whip, McCarthy, son of an assistant fire chief, could find himself having to put out fires within his caucus, uniting the newly elected “tea party” Republicans and establishment Republicans.

Thomas said his protege is well-suited for the job.

“Frankly, a lot of the people coming in are people he got to come in,” Thomas said.

“What better person to go to them than the one who went to North Dakota in January and said,

‘I’d like you to run for office. We’ll do everything we can to help you.’”

“So when he comes around and says, ‘Can I have a vote on this?’ it’s kind of hard for them to say no,” Thomas said.

In announcing his candidacy for the whip job, McCarthy said that he studied up on conservative districts represented by Democrats, which would help him find Democratic votes to challenge President Obama.

“If we are strategic, we can recruit a number of Democrats to break with President Obama and vote with us, or be held accountable by their constituents in 2012,” McCarthy said in a letter to colleagues.

“I want seven hearings a week, times 40 weeks,” Issa told Politico, a widely read political website, with billions of dollars in so-called “stimulus” spending a major target.

His job, he says, is to “measure failures.”

Issa’s investigations will fit neatly into the Republican leadership’s plans to confront the Obama administration on a broad front in the months leading up to the 2012 presidential election.

    http://paulryan.house.gov/Top5Issues/112Congress.htm

We must abandon the politically-charged demagoguery of these issues in place of an adult conversation on the urgent need to tackle our nation’s looming entitlement and debt crisis.

Importantly, Republicans must not lose sight of our past failures: excessive spending, pork-barrel profligacy and a failure to stand united on principle.

For my part, I will advocate that opposition to higher taxes must now be matched with an equal commitment to cutting spending.

I am ready to work across the aisle – collaborating to achieve policy goals, while never compromising on principle.

There is no doubt that we face major challenges as a nation that will not be easy to solve.

But I am confident that by learning from the mistakes made in the past, we will stand on principle and restore the policies that have made our nation so exceptional.

I also want you to know that if you are ever seeking assistance with a federal agency, please feel free to contact one of my Constituent Services Centers.

with a collar of leather and nails,
and he never once made you explain or talk
about all of the little details,
such as who had a word and who had a rock,
and who had you through the mails.
Now your love is a secret all over the block,
and it never stops not even when your master fails.

And he took you up in his aeroplane,
which he flew without any hands,
and you cruised above the ribbons of rain
that drove the crowd from the stands.
Then he killed the lights in a lonely Lane
and, an ape with angel glands,
erased the final wisps of pain
with the music of rubber bands.

And now I hear your master sing,
you kneel for him to come.
His body is a golden string
that your body is hanging from.
His body is a golden string,
    my body has grown numb.
Oh now you hear your master sing,
    your shirt is all undone.

And will you kneel beside this bed
that we polished so long ago,
    before your master chose instead
to make my bed of snow?
Your eyes are wild and your knuckles are red
and you’re speaking far too low.
No I can’t make out what your master said
    before he made you go.

Then I think you’re playing far too rough
    for a lady who’s been to the moon;
I’ve lain by this window long enough
to get used to an empty room.
And your love is some dust in an old man’s cough
who is tapping his foot to a tune,
and your thighs are a ruin, you want too much,
let’s say you came back some time too soon.

    I loved your master perfectly
I taught him all that he knew.
He was starving in some deep mystery
like a man who is sure what is true.
And I sent you to him with my guarantee
I could teach him something new,
and I taught him how you would long for me
no matter what he said no matter what you’d do.

I believe that you heard your master sing
while I was sick in bed,
I’m sure that he told you everything
I must keep locked away in my head.
    Your master took you travelling,
well at least that’s what you said,
And now do you come back to bring
    your prisoner wine and bread?

CNN, Like ABC, CBS and Olbermann’s Network Protests Too Much
Posted by: Hugh Hewitt at 10:40 PM
Do they think the audience is stupid?

    http://www.hughhewitt.com/blog/g/6dee9554-faf0-44a5-9d41-f9aa8bdff43e

Well, yes, and in an even more thoroughgoing way than the ordinary MSM outlet.

Of course CNN is liberal.  Of course Olbermann’s Network is liberal.  Of course the New York Times, Politico, and the Washington Post are liberal.

To argue these propositions is to admit ignorance or disingenuity.

In a September 21, 2006 interview I asked on of the deans of American political reporting, Thomas Edsall, about the liberal-conservative imbalance in journalism:
HH: [G]iven that number of reporters out there, is it ten to one Democrat to Republican? Twenty to one Democrat to Republican?
TE: It’s probably in the range of 15-25:1 Democrat.

This wasn’t a shocking revelation, though it was a rare bit of candor by a career MSMer.

I believe the Tea Party movement that swept through politics will now help reform the long-biased MSM simply by refusing to accept the ongoing charade of fairness on issues like spending, the debt, taxes and the like.  The game is up, and millions and millions of ordinary citizens are sick to death of the deep dishonesty and/or self-deception of MSMers pretending to understand or fairly report what is going on in American politics.

This means the continued flight of viewers to Fox and to a much lesser extent because the left is so much smaller than the center-right, to MSNBC.  There are a few MSM reporters left who have earned a great deal of respect for their willingness to push President Obama and his colleagues –Jake Tapper and Candy Crowley are two– but the wholesale collapse of the MSM in the campaign of 2008 and in the first two years of this disastrous presidency have destroyed the last shreds of credibility of the old guard and their apprentices.

The Chicago emperor had no clothes, and very few in the MSM dared even hint at it outside of Fox.

And everybody who watches politics either knows this or deceives themselves.

    Parker-Spitzer.  Sheesh.

For instance, the “Obama citizenship conspiracy theory” page says the decision by Army Col. Denise Lind to limit the jurisdiction of the court martial was made because “President Obama’s status as a natural born citizen is irrelevant in the court martial case” and that his “eligibility to serve is outside the jurisdiction of a military court martial.”

In sharp contrast, the now-scrubbed separate listing for Lakin had quoted directly from Lind’s ruling, including her comment that allowing Lakin discovery could have led to “embarrassment” for the Obama administration.

The decision of the Wikipedia editors is also inconsistent in that Philadelphia attorney Philip J. Berg has a separate listing on Wikipedia that includes coverage of the Obama eligibility lawsuit Berg filed in 2008, Berg v. Obama, yet Berg and lawsuit Berg v. Obama are also discussed on the “Obama citizenship conspiracy theory page” – the exact type of duplication the Wikipedia administrators argued to eliminate regarding the Lakin page-length, stand-alone entry.

Attorney Andy Martin and former ambassador Alan Keyes also each have their own Wikipedia page-length articles that mention lawsuits they have filed challenging Obama’s eligibility while both are also discussed on the “Obama citizenship conspiracy theory page.”

The best test is to address whether Lakin would have received orders to deploy to Afghanistan had Obama never been sworn in to office. If you cannot definitely say yes, then Obama’s eligibility is relevant. Period.

Wishes for a Blessed Eid Al-Adha (Holiday of the Sacrifice) from the American Islamic Forum for Democracy

    November 16, 2010

    http://www.aifdemocracy.org/news.php?id=6326

Muslims today are commemorating the Islamic holiday of Eid Al-Adha (holiday of the sacrifice).

Eid al-Adha occurs on the 10th Day of the month of Dhul-Hijja, the 12th month of the Islamic lunar calendar.

Eid al-Adha marks the end of the annual pilgrimage (Hajj) of Muslims to Mecca.

Over 2.5 million Muslims usually participate annually in the Hajj (pilgrimage) which commemorates the Muslim understanding of the challenges placed upon the Prophet Abraham by God in demonstration of his monotheistic belief.

To all of our Muslim friends, we at the American Islamic Forum for Democracy (AIFD) wish you a most blessed Eid al-Adha.

May the commemoration of this holiday remind us of all of God’s blessings which we enjoy every day and may it also remind us of the responsibility which comes with them.

Annually, in addition to those who participate in the pilgrimage, Muslims take this holiday to remember God, family, and country and thank God for health, happiness, and prosperity.

Well, here is Paul Krugman this weekend on ABC News. Listen.

    (BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

PAUL KRUGMAN, ECONOMIST: If the commission isn’t even brave enough to take on the death panels people, then it’s doing no good at all.

It’s not educating the public. It’s not telling people about the kinds of choices that need to be made.

Some years down the pike, we’re going to get a real solution, which is going to be a combination of death panels and sales taxes.

It’s going to be — we’re actually going to take Medicare under control and we’re going to have to get some additional revenue probably from a VAT.

    (Toldjah.)

    (END VIDEO CLIP)

BECK: Death panel and higher taxes — they will decide who lives or dies. Meanwhile, they’ll take your money — death panels.

Stewart has his own opinion on why the signs vanished or were changed.

“Probably because they feel like they were instilling fear with the other one, and rightfully so,” Stewart said.

“When you come across the desert all you see is car tracks in every direction, (in) the washes there are car parts, backpacks, water bottles, and piece of trash that a human might need, which was once something useful across the desert. It’s out there.”

When contacted by KGUN9 News, the Bureau of Land Management would not elaborate on what happened to the new sign that is missing–or was never installed– on Vekol Road in Pinal County.

Stewart, an avid pilot, took KGUN9 News photojournalist Alfonso Sahagun up for a birds-eye vantage point of the tracks left on the desert landscape by the smugglers.

He asked Stewart how he felt flying over the roads, knowing that drug dealers were using them at night.

“It makes me angry that they trash our country,” Stewart replied.

Stewart is among those who believe that a different kind of sign

    – among them, dirt trails carved out in the night by human and drug smugglers —

tells the true story of what is really going on in the desert.

    FROM JEROME CORSI’S RED ALERT

    Here come the energy police!

Millions of ‘smart meters’ installed to monitor electricity usage

    ——————————————————————————–
    Posted: November 14, 2010

    http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=228337

What is the concern about the energy police?

“When all is in place, the smart meter will not only keep track of how much electricity you are using, but it will be able to control, regulate, and ration your use of that electricity,” she wrote.

“If ‘big brother’ decides that you are using too much heat in the winter time, or too much air conditioning in the summer time, or using too much hot water in your showers or washing machine (even if you are willing to pay for that extra usage), the use of power will be automatically turned down.”

Koehle’s not only concerned that green bureaucrats want to impose their global warming agenda on a free marketplace, but that in the future no one will be able to avoid the coming ideologically driven intrusion into homes.

Pretty soon, Koehle warns, all appliances will be replaced with those containing RF chips.

Corsi has also reported on Google’s PowerMeter, software intended to measure the precise amount of energy a house consumes and provide an accounting that lists by household location and device that consumes the electricity.

As a result, the Google PowerMeter will provide utilities and any government regulators who care the access the data complete information on a household’s energy footprint and carbon footprint.

“An easy next step would be for government regulators to demand more household energy efficiency or a reduction in carbon emissions, with the result that ‘energy offenders’ could be charged substantial fines, with the possibility that the truly recalcitrant could be deemed ‘energy criminals’ subject to severe consequences,” Corsi wrote.

“As always, government extermination of civil liberties first arrives with a helping hand.”

(So we the people have no say in the matter?! And who will profit?)

State representatives file birth certificate bill filed for presidential candidates

    Posted: November 17, 2010

    http://lubbockonline.com/local-news/2010-11-17/birth-certificate-bill-filed-presidential-candidates

Berman’s bill specifies that “the secretary of state may not certify the name of a candidate for president or vice-president unless the candidate has presented the original birth certificate indicating that the person is a natural-born United States citizen.”

If the Legislature passes the proposed legislation and Gov. Rick Perry signs it into law, it would become effective on Sept. 1, 2011, six months before the state holds its 2012 presidential primaries.

Berman’s proposal is similar to one introduced in the Arizona Legislature this year which prompted the Arizona Republic, the largest newspaper in that state, to write:

“The legislation originated from a fringe group that believes President Barack Obama is not a natural-born citizen of the United States and therefore ineligible to be president.”

The so-called “birther movement,” which questions Obama’s citizenship, started during the 2008 presidential campaign and though most news organizations have reported that there is overwhelming evidence that the president was born in Hawaii in 1961, there is small percentage of the U.S. population which is not convinced.

“small percentage of the U.S. population”

And a small percentage also suggest Obama’s status changed when he was adopted by his stepfather Lolo Soetoro. They also suggest Obama may have attended as a “foreign” student.

Someone’s got it in for me, they’re planting stories in the press

They say I shot a man named Gray and took his wife to Italy
She inherited a million bucks and when she died it came to me
    I can’t help it if I’m lucky

People see me all the time and they just can’t remember how to act
Their minds are filled with big ideas, images and distorted facts
Even you, yesterday you had to ask me where it was at
I couldn’t believe after all these years, you didn’t know me better than that
    Sweet lady

Idiot wind, blowing every time you move your mouth
Blowing down the backroads headin’ south
Idiot wind, blowing every time you move your teeth
    You’re an idiot, babe
It’s a wonder that you still know how to breathe

I ran into the fortune-teller, who said beware of lightning that might strike
I haven’t known peace and quiet for so long I can’t remember what it’s like
There’s a lone soldier on the cross, smoke pourin’ out of a boxcar door
You didn’t know it, you didn’t think it could be done, in the final end he won the wars
    After losin’ every battle

I woke up on the roadside, daydreamin’ ’bout the way things sometimes are
Visions of your chestnut mare shoot through my head and are makin’ me see stars
You hurt the ones that I love best and cover up the truth with lies
One day you’ll be in the ditch, flies buzzin’ around your eyes
    Blood on your saddle

Idiot wind, blowing through the flowers on your tomb
Blowing through the curtains in your room
Idiot wind, blowing every time you move your teeth
    You’re an idiot, babe
It’s a wonder that you still know how to breathe

It was gravity which pulled us down and destiny which broke us apart
You tamed the lion in my cage but it just wasn’t enough to change my heart
Now everything’s a little upside down, as a matter of fact the wheels have stopped
What’s good is bad, what’s bad is good, you’ll find out when you reach the top
    You’re on the bottom

I noticed at the ceremony, your corrupt ways had finally made you blind
I can’t remember your face anymore, your mouth has changed, your eyes
    don’t look into mine
The priest wore black on the seventh day and sat stone-faced while the
    building burned
I waited for you on the running boards, near the cypress trees, while the
    springtime turned
    Slowly into Autumn

Idiot wind, blowing like a circle around my skull
From the Grand Coulee Dam to the Capitol
Idiot wind, blowing every time you move your teeth
    You’re an idiot, babe
It’s a wonder that you still know how to breathe

I can’t feel you anymore, I can’t even touch the books you’ve read
Every time I crawl past your door, I been wishin’ I was somebody else instead
Down the highway, down the tracks, down the road to ecstasy
I followed you beneath the stars, hounded by your memory
    And all your ragin’ glory

I been double-crossed now for the very last time and now I’m finally free
I kissed goodbye the howling beast on the borderline which separated you from me
You’ll never know the hurt I suffered nor the pain I rise above
And I’ll never know the same about you, your holiness or your kind of love
And it makes me feel so sorry

Idiot wind, blowing through the buttons of our coats
Blowing through the letters that we wrote
Idiot wind, blowing through the dust upon our shelves
    We’re idiots, babe

I choose instead to relate a story or two.

    ***

I am an in-be·tween·er. My mother-in-law recently passed, may she rest in peace.

We chanced upon her Social Security card, which of course bore her maiden name.

My Social Security card bears my maiden name. So, according to the gubmint, I am still Rose A. so and so.

(The gubmint do take a bite, don’t she?!)

As far as New York State was concerned, they were fine with me being identified by my married name.

And so was the State of Arizona in 1994, but not in 2007.

So my AZ driver’s license shows my maiden name, which can be a problem when I fly.

Once I had a one-way ticket and my id did not match the name on my ticket.

    So I got “wanded.”

Behind the curtain, the woman was very gentle with me.

I said, “Do what you have to do.” And I took no offense.

Just keep me and my loved ones safe.

What I love about this book, is not only does it relate “a shameful chapter in our history” and Andrew Jackson’s role.

But it describes a Cherokee culture where all children are welcomed, no matter the circumstances.

A culture where women made decisions about sex, about marriage, about life.

Women chose their husbands, they chose whether or not to have sexual relations.

    Along with the woman’s father.

Whose job it was was whether or not to invite a young buck into the family.

    Revisiting a Republican Deficit Plan

    http://economix.blogs.nytimes.com/2010/11/17/revisiting-a-republican-deficit-plan/?src=busln

    http://economix.blogs.nytimes.com/2010/11/17/rep-ryan-on-his-medicare-plan/

Going forward, we have one of two choices for Medicare reform:

Put patients in charge of how their health care dollars are spent, as providers compete against each other on price and quality to better serve patients; or

funnel funds through the government, force providers to lobby bureaucrats for favorable funding formulas, and leave patients on the sidelines while health care decisions are made for them.

In health care, as in any other economic arrangement, control of money is power. The question remaining is then: Who gets the power?

    The government or the patient?

Patient power will always serve the needs of the people far better than bureaucrats managing the decline of a government-run system on the verge of bankruptcy.

    Reform aimed to empower individuals

    — with a strengthened safety net for the poor and the sick —

will not only ensure the fiscal sustainability of this program, the federal budget, and the United States economy, but also guarantee that Medicare can fulfill the promise of health security for America’s seniors.

    “Who gets the power?’

Don’t kid yourselves. This isn’t just about who gets the power and control.

This is also about who gets the profit.

Please do not trust government bureaucrats to make these decisions for you.

Glenn Beck: Media, Common Sense Missing From TSA Screening Story

    http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,602242,00.html

Let me show you the last line from my book “Broke.” Here it is:

“Our government has found out how much injustice Americans are willing to quietly accept, but it has yet to see what happens when we’ve had enough.”

Hmm. Is somebody hoping that maybe — no, that’s too cynical.

You know what they’re doing in Europe? They’re using dogs for security. Yes. Yes. In Israel, they’re using psychological profiling and it works.

Reports suggest that dogs are more effective than scanners.

We’re spending stimulus dollars on scanners, though, and our former DHS chief is making money on it, Soros is making money on the scanners.

Who would get rich if we bought a bunch of dogs? Nobody.

“What happens when we’ve had enough?”

One only has to look at Germany under Hitler to see just how malleable human beings can be under the wrong set of circumstances.

But I still believe the vast majority of Americans just want to feel safe when they’re flying.

I’d like to see some polling on that.

TSA Unionization: A $30 Million Annual Gift to Union Bosses

Another reward for union bosses; another slap in the face for Americans.

    http://www.redstate.com/laborunionreport/2010/11/17/tsa-unionization-an-32-million-annual-gift-to-union-bosses/

Now, the Transportation Security Agency’s blue shirts who are doing Janet Napolitiano’s bidding frisking, groping, molesting and seemingly sexually assaulting the American public, are about to get license for further abuse—a union card.

… a campaign by the government’s two largest labor organizations, the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) and the National Treasury Employees Union, to represent some 50,000 transportation security officers.

    It was bound to happen.

While the Federal Labor Relations Authority (an agency that governs labor relations between the federal government and unions) recently granted permission to unionize the TSA, it has not yet ruled to give the unions collective bargaining rights—yet.

But, it is only a matter of time.

“AFGE argued, and the FLRA agreed, that the right for employees to elect an exclusive representative and the right to engage in collective bargaining are two separate and distinct rights,” AFGE National President John Gage said.

“We have always said the choice to unionize and the task of winning collective bargaining rights at TSA would be a two-part process.

“While we wait for the decision on collective bargaining rights that TSA Administrator Pistole has indicated will come soon, the election process can begin to move forward,” Gage added.

Examiner Editorial: No union for Transportation Security workers

    http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/No-union-for-Transportation-Safety-workers-1599918-108775189.html

In Senate testimony last December, DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano told Sen. Jim DeMint, R-S.C., that she supported collective bargaining for the TSA, even after DeMint noted that every previous DHS administrator had opposed it on security grounds.

This suggests that Napolitano’s primary concern is not security, but rather keeping Obama’s union allies — who contribute hundreds of millions of dollars to him and his party — in line for the 2012 campaign.

If each of the TSA’s 50,000 employees pays $50 a month,

    *** that’s $30 million a year in new dues revenue ***

that will likely go to one of the two large federal employee unions vying to represent the TSA, the American Federation of Government Employees or the National Treasury Employees Union.

Between them, AFGE and NTEU represent about 750,000 federal workers.

The AFGE is affiliated with the AFL-CIO, which joined forces with the Service Employees International Union to spend $88 million electing Democrats in the midterms.

The NTEU’s Political Action Committee spent $577,597 in the 2010 election cycle, 97 percent of which went to Democrats.

If the TSA unionizes, Democratic campaign coffers will get richer at the expense of national security, and

it will no longer be merely a figure of speech to claim that federal bureaucrats have taxpayers by the genitals.

(Since We the People have to subsidize these public sector union pensions, shouldn’t we have a say in the matter?!)

Florida Airport Kicking Out TSA Screeners

    http://wokv.com/localnews/2010/11/florida-airport-kicking-out-ts.html

With so much uproar over those new TSA pat-downs and full body scanners, we find a central Florida airport kicking the government out.

The Sanford Airport, which handles two million passengers a year, plans to replace Transportation Security Administration screeners with private contractors.

“All of our due diligence shows it’s the way to go,” said Larry Dale, the director of the Sanford Airport Authority.

“You’re going to get better service at a better price and more accountability and better customer service.”

Dale tells our news partner WDBO he will be sending a letter requesting to opt out from TSA screening, and instead the airport will choose one of the five approved private screening companies to take over.

Congressman John Mica, who’s expected to lead the powerful Transportation Committee next year, says the TSA is crying out for reform.

“I think TSA is overstepping its bounds,” said Mica.

Dale says, if all goes as planned, the private security firm could take over in about 12 months.

Mica encourages airports to drop TSA screeners, hire private security

Rep. John Mica (R-FL), who is in line to become chair of the House transportation committee, recently sent a letter to more than 150 airports encouraging them to opt out of using TSA screeners and hire private security instead.

Mica reportedly wrote: “As TSA has grown larger, more impersonal, and administratively top-heavy, I believe it is important that airports across the country consider utilizing the opt-out provision provided by law.”

    Mica’s call for private security

Fund: Israelis use “private contractors,” but the U.S. “created this giant bureaucracy.”

On the November 16 edition of Fox News’ Hannity, The Wall Street Journal’s John Fund stated:

“The Israelis use private contractors and psychological profiling. We decided not to go that way. We went and created this giant bureaucracy called TSA.”

(Is it possible TSA employees faced with threat of being replaced with private contractors will vote NOT to unionize?!)

    Born of the years
    Is it so wrong
    To be human after all

    Drawn into the stream
    Of undefined illusion
    Those diamond dreams
    They can’t disguise the truth
That there is something about you, baby, so right
I wouldn’t be without you, baby, tonight

If ever our love was concealed
No one can say that we didn’t feel
A million things and a perfect dream of life
    Gone, fragile but free
    We remain tender together
    If not so in love
    It’s not so wrong
    We’re only human after all

    These changing years
    They add to your confusion
Oh and you need to hear
The time that told the truth

Because there’s something about you, baby, so right
I couldn’t live without you, baby, tonight

    Yeah
