NH Attorney General afraid to speak with Rappaport?
October 29, 2009 by John Charlton

    by John Charlton

(Oct. 29, 2009) —After 6 weeks of waiting for a response from the state Attorney General, with no action taken, New Hampshire Representative Laurence M. Rappaport has demanded that Michael A. Delaney, take action on his concerns that Election Fraud had been committed in the state during the 2008 Presidential Election.

Rappaport was scheduled to met with Delaney Tuesday, at 3 PM. A summary of events leading up to that meeting was published yesterday, by The Post & Email.

However, Tuesday at noon, Delaney cancelled the meeting for “personal reasons.”

Rappaport issued this message to his constituents and supporters:

I went to Concord on Tuesday expressly to meet with Michael Delaney, the New Hampshire Attorney General. The following day the Legislature was to have a “Veto vote” (which we did). About half way down there, I checked my cellular phone messages and found that Mr. Delaney was cancelling our meeting due to personal reasons. I went anyway and spoke to his secretary and we agreed to reschedule when I was next in Concord since Concord, NH is about 3 hours south of me by car. I believe I will be there around November 20th and will try to make arrangements around that time.

Our Legislature meets in regular session from January 1 until June 30th, and rarely meets in the second half of the year. I am planning on attending a meeting of the Power Line Commission regarding improvements to the “Coos Loop”, a matter of concern to many of my constituents.

My concerns about President Obama revolve around these points:

    1. My understanding of “natural born” is that one must have two American citizens as parents. Mr. Obama, in his book, says that his father was Kenyan. This is my primary concern.

    2. Mr. Obama travelled to Pakistan when that country was on our “enemies” list and travel there was forbidden. Under which passport did he travel?

    3. Mr. Obama attended a school in Indonesia which did not accept foreigners. Was he an Indonesian and did he subsequently renounce that citizenship?

    4. Where was Mr. Obama born and from whom did he obtain citizenship? If it was his mother and if she was outside the US, was she old enough to confer citizenship?

There are other reasons, of course, but if any of the above are questionable, were there the requisite qualifications for Mr. Obama to run for election in New Hampshire? I am not an attorney nor can I prove the answers to the above, but it appears to me that there is a possible case of fraud and I believe that should be investigated. That is what I will discuss with Mr. Delaney when we finally meet

I’ve been scouring the web and the only reference to citizenship I can find is from FR 2004. The other links, including links to Chicago Tribune are gone of course. No reply from Obamass appears.

In a discussion of the problem of illegal aliens, Keyes said “we need to change our basis for citizenship because I think . . . where you’re a citizen just because you’re born here is something that is contributing to this problem and needs to be changed.”

Afterward, Keyes said citizenship should only be granted if both parents are U.S. citizens.

Obama Seeks New Powers to Dismantle Nonbank Firms

A year after Lehman Brothers collapsed, helping to trigger the worst financial crisis in seven decades, the Obama administration is pressing Congress for the power to dismantle other nonbank firms considered so large and influential that they could bring down the entire economy.

Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner was asking a House panel on Thursday to pass legislation that would enable federal regulators to identify and monitor big financial firms and step in to wind them down before they collapse.

The proposal, worked out in an agreement with House Financial Services Committee Chairman Barney Frank, D-Mass., also will give new powers to the Federal Reserve to enforce tougher requirements for these “too-big-to-fail” companies.

Millions of consumers will suffer skyrocketing insurance premiums next year due to “indirect taxes” contained in both the House and Senate versions of healthcare reform, according to various medical and insurance industry experts.

Newt Gingrich: Democracy: The joke is on us
    by DefendUSx October 29, 2009 22:20

    By: Newt Gingrich
    Examiner Columnist

It turns out, the joke was on us.

This August, while thousands of Americans were dutifully attending town hall meetings to let their elected representatives know they oppose big government, big bureaucracy, high tax health care, unelected congressional staff were huddling in Washington writing their own health care bill.

The Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) Committee bill that emerged on Sept. 17 had actually been voted on by the committee two months earlier. For two months, the Democrats who control the committee refused to let anyone read the bill, not members of the committee, not other Senators, not the American people.

Now we know why. While they held the bill hostage, unelected HELP committee staff made over 70 changes to it. No votes were held as substantive parts of the bill were changed or eliminated.

Provisions that had been agreed to by the elected members of the committee – such as requiring parental consent for children to receive health services at school – were eliminated at the whim of partisan staff members.

And this is just the beginning of a legislative process that has become so corrupted it’s a wonder we bother to elect members of Congress anymore. Once the Senate Finance Committee passes their health care bill, three Senators – Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-WV), Finance Committee Chairman Max Baucus (D-MT) and HELP Committee member Chris Dodd (D-CT) – will meet in secret with their staff to produce a final bill.

Think about it: All of the power of the United States Senate to transform one-sixth of our economy will be in the hands of three men and their aides. It’s government by staff, aided by lobbyists, for the benefit of bureaucrats.

No wonder so many Democrats in Congress are so dead set against having members read – and more importantly, allowing the American people to read – bills before they vote on them.

Republicans and moderate Democrats have repeatedly pushed for a requirement that bills be posted online 72 hours before a vote in order to allow Americans and members of Congress to know what’s in them before they become law. The Democratic leadership has repeatedly blocked or voted down these attempts at transparency.

An overwhelming majority of Americans support “read the bill” reforms, but Democratic leaders dismiss this desire for openness with a mixture of condescension, contempt and confusion.

“Let’s be honest about it. Most people don’t read the legislative language,” was Massachusetts Democratic Sen. John Kerry’s response.

“I don’t expect to actually read the legislative language because reading the legislative language is among the more confusing things I’ve ever read in my life,” said Sen. Thomas Carper, D-DE.

“What good is reading the bill if it’s a thousand pages and you don’t have two days and two lawyers to find out what it means after you read the bill?” said House Judiciary Committee Chairman Rep. John Conyers, D-MI.

The Democrats’ insistence on not reading bills before they make them law brings to mind two possible motives, neither of them good: Either they are trying to rush through laws they know the American people don’t support, or they are passing legislation that is too sweeping and complicated to be understood.

Either way, they’re making a mockery of government “of the people, by the people and for the people.”

With the technology we have today, there’s no excuse for the American people to be cut out of the lawmaking process. There’s even less excuse for lawmakers themselves to opt out of it.

We’ve seen what results when bills aren’t read before they’re passed. The mammoth, pork-filled $787 stimulus bill didn’t appear online until after 10pm the night before it was voted on.

Here’s a solution: Every bill should be posted online at least 72 hours before a vote. Every committee “markup” meeting to amend a bill should be webcast. And every amendment should be filed online in real time.

If we demand our right to be a part of the legislative process, we can keep our republic. If we don’t, the joke really is on us.

Time for the Tea Party to Become Tangible III

    Tangible Tea Party Tactics
By JB Williams Thursday, October 29, 2009

This wild ride started a week ago when I released Time for the Tea Party to become Tangible in which I floated the idea that the Tea Party—Town Hall and 912 movements must unite in a common nationwide effort to retake control of the GOP, followed by Making the Tea Party Tangible which identified some of the challenges inherent in any such effort.

In short, uniting “the right” makes herding cats look easy!

One week later, we have heard from thousands of readers, numerous Tea Party—Town Hall and 912 groups, a number of current politicians, and even several hopeful patriots running to replace RINOs and commies in DC in 2010.

I have only ONE goal, to stop and reverse the Obamanation of our country and return the USA to a constitutional status. The strategy for accomplishing this is to retake the GOP so that we have the power needed to accomplish that goal.

I’ve done about a dozen radio appearances on the matter, heard Glenn Beck speak of a similar idea a few days later, and watched Newt Gingrich threaten “outsiders” (aka Tea Party folks), warning against any attempt at a coup of “his” party! It’s been quite a week!

CBO Puts House Health Bill Total Cost At $1.055 Trillion

By Martin Vaughan, Of DOW JONES NEWSWIRES

WASHINGTON -(Dow Jones)- The Congressional Budget Office said Thursday a U.S. House health-care system re-write would extend health insurance to 96% of the nonelderly U.S. population by 2019, and spend $1.055 trillion to do so.

Penalties imposed on individuals who did not purchase insurance, and employers who did not offer coverage to their workers, would raise $161 billion over that time-frame. That brings the net cost of the bill to $894 billion through 2019, CBO said.

House Democrats have seized on that net cost figure to claim that their bill is below President Barack Obama’s upper limit which he set for health-care legislation of $900 billion.

The $1.055 trillion estimate also does not include $245 billion needed to stop Medicare payments to doctors from decreasing, which the House plans to address through separate legislation introduced Thursday.

The costs of the bill are fully offset by cuts to existing spending programs– including the Medicare Advantage and other programs–saving $426 billion through 2019, and by tax increases raising $572 billion over that time, CBO said. In fact, the combined impact of provisions in the bill would be a net deficit reduction of $104 billion in the next decade, according to CBO.

CBO also said the House bill would not add to the deficit in the first decade beyond 2019–a key condition for support from fiscally conservative House Democrats.

CBO Director Doug Elmendorf, in a Thursday letter to House Democratic Chairmen, cautioned that his estimates are preliminary and “subject to substantial uncertainty.”

House leaders capped weeks of internal negotiations among Democrats today by unveiling the sweeping legislation. They aim to bring the bill to a vote by the full House by the end of next week.

The bill would create exchanges where people who do not have access to health insurance from their employer could buy coverage. It would create a government- sponsored plan to compete with private plans.

The bill would reduce the number of uninsured in the U.S. by 36 million by 2019. By that time, 30 million people would be covered through the insurance exchanges, of which 6 million would be covered by the public option.

An expansion in eligibility rules for the Medicaid program would bring an additional 15 million enrollees to Medicaid by 2019, CBO said.

Honduran rivals agree a deal to end crisis

By Sean Mattson Sean Mattson – Fri Oct 30, 5:31 am ET

TEGUCIGALPA (Reuters) – Honduras’ de facto government has accepted a U.S.-driven deal that opens the door for the return to power of President Manuel Zelaya, toppled in a military coup four months ago.

The breakthrough late on Thursday followed renewed pressure from senior U.S. officials who traveled to Honduras this week for a last-ditch effort to end a crisis that has given U.S. President Barack Obama a foreign policy headache.

“It is a triumph for Honduran democracy,” the leftist Zelaya said after the rival sides agreed to a deal that he said should see him restored to office in the coming days.

More possible disclosure info…We shall wait and see!

    30 October 2009

    • We were delighted to have received this e-mail from Clay and Shawn Pickering, and are reproducing it here with their permission:

    From: Shawn and Clay Pickering
    Date: Wed, 28 Oct 2009
    To: Project Camelot
    Subject: Greer Interview

    Hey Bill and Kerry,

Clay and I were thoroughly enthralled with the Greer interview. The issues you brought up are being argued at the highest levels within certain programs. The angst is reflected at all informed policy levels.

I felt Greer was a bit under fire but… hey… this is healthy for all parties involved. How else is understanding gained? By far, this was the best “interaction” in all your interviews. I’m glad to see that Greer kept his composure. True advocacy journalism can be uncomfortable for all parties involved.

    Clay and Shawn Pickering

For those unfamiliar with Clay and Shawn, the Pickering brothers are New York-based researchers who were contacted in early 2008 by a US Navy officer – “Source A” – who provided them with details of high-level talks within the United Nations concerning ET contact and disclosure. Click here for a three hour interview with Clay published by the Open Minds Forum in May 2008.

The material – which, if true, could hardly be more important – was of course controversial, and generated considerable debate and discussion. Michael Salla has recently commented on their information here [well worth reading], connecting it with what we learned a few months ago from Dr Pete Peterson, and with a recent statement by David Wilcock on Coast to Coast AM. (Because much of what David has learned has come from Camelot sources, we have of course been watching this unfold with great interest.)

So, Disclosure is in the air. We’ll be recording an in-depth audio interview with Shawn and Clay and will release this within 7-10 days. We’re fully aware of the importance of this and are greatly looking forward to it – and so may you be. We’ll keep you closely informed.

    CommieCare Bill BS
***Reading Guide—Pelosi Health “Reform” Bill ***
In order to assist Members, staff, and interested parties seeking to read and review the health “reform” legislation (H.R. 3962) introduced by House Democrats, the Republican Conference has compiled a list of important page numbers and provisions in Speaker Pelosi’s 1,990-page “Affordable Health Care for America Act:”

Page 94—Section 202(c) prohibits the sale of private individual health insurance policies, beginning in 2013, forcing individuals to purchase coverage through the federal government

Page 110—Section 222(e) requires the use of federal dollars to fund abortions through the government-run health plan—and, if the Hyde Amendment were ever not renewed, would require the plan to fund elective abortions

Page 111—Section 223 establishes a new board of federal bureaucrats (the “Health Benefits Advisory Committee”) to dictate the health plans that all individuals must purchase—and would likely require all Americans to subsidize and purchase plans that cover any abortion

Page 211—Section 321 establishes a new government-run health plan that, according to non-partisan actuaries at the HULewin GroupUH, would cause as many as 114 million Americans to lose their existing coverage

Page 225—Section 330 permits—but does not require—Members of Congress to enroll in government-run health care

Page 255—Section 345 includes language requiring verification of income for individuals wishing to receive federal health care subsidies under the bill—while the bill includes a requirement for applicants to verify their citizenship, it does not include a similar requirement to verify applicants’ identity, thus encouraging identity fraud for undocumented immigrants and others wishing to receive taxpayer-subsidized health benefits

Page 297—Section 501 imposes a 2.5 percent tax on all individuals who do not purchase “bureaucrat-approved” health insurance—the tax would apply on individuals with incomes under $250,000, thus breaking a central HUpromiseUH of then-Senator Obama’s presidential campaign

Page 313—Section 512 imposes an 8 percent “tax on jobs” for firms that cannot afford to purchase “bureaucrat-approved” health coverage; according to an HUanalysisUH by Harvard Professor Kate Baicker, such a tax would place millions “at substantial risk of unemployment”—Uwith minority workers losing their jobs at twice the rate of their white counterparts

Page 336—Section 551 imposes additional job-killing taxes, in the form of a half-trillion dollar “surcharge,” more than half of which will hit small businesses; according to a model developed by President Obama’s senior economic advisor, such taxes could cost up to 5.5 million jobs

Page 520—Section 1161 cuts more than $150 billion from Medicare Advantage plans, potentially jeopardizing millions of seniors’ existing coverage

Page 733—Section 1401 establishes a new Center for Comparative Effectiveness Research; the bill includes no provisions preventing the government-run health plan from using such research to deny access to life-saving treatments on cost grounds, similar to Britain’s National Health Service, which denies patient treatments costing more than £35,000

Page 1174—Section 1802(b) includes provisions entitled “TAXES ON CERTAIN INSURANCE POLICIES” to fund comparative effectiveness research, breaking Speaker Pelosi’s promise that “UWe will not be taxing [health] benefits in any bill that passes the HouseU,” and the President’s promise not to raise taxes on families with incomes under $250,000

FBI Demands Tattoo Shops Rat On Customers
    by DefendUSx October 30, 2009 16:51

    Kurt Nimmo
    October 30, 2009

Are you in the market for a patriotic tattoo, maybe the Gadsden flag? Forget about it. Unless you want the local tattoo artist to inform on you.

The FBI, in league with the Bureau of Justice Assistance (part of the Department of Justice), has launched a program that harks back to East Germany’s Stasi.
In Philadelphia, the FBI has instructed tattoo shops to rat out their customers if they demand privacy, insist on paying with cash, engage in “suspicious behavior,” make “anti-US” comments, or request tattoos that are “extremist symbols.”

According to the MIAC report, the Gadsden flag is a “militia symbol.” The Department of Homeland Security’s Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment report characterizes militias as “white supremacists,” domestic terrorists and a threat to the president. MIAC is part of the federal “fusion” effort now underway around the country.

It is not merely “extremist symbols.” In addition, the FBI literature instructs tattoo shops to be on the look-out for people who change hair color, style of dress, or shave beards between visits. Suspicious people also include those with missing fingers or hands, chemical burns, strange orders or bright colored stains on clothing.

Read the handout below for more absurd “extremist” indicators according to the FBI.

Received email from my senator Richard Burr – here is excerpt that really made me mad:

“Also with regard to our veterans, yesterday, I spoke on the Senate floor about protecting the constitutional rights of our veterans. Unbeknownst to many, veterans who come to the VA for help, but who cannot manage their own financial affairs, are labeled as “mentally defective.” On that basis alone, their names are put in an FBI database (along with criminals) and are denied their Second Amendment rights. These decisions about whose names to send to the FBI are not being made by judges or through a judicial process, but by VA employees who work with veterans.

According to the spouse of one veteran who reached out to the VA Committee, a VA fiduciary told her husband – a seriously-wounded Iraq veteran – that not only would he not be permitted to keep an heirloom gun he intended to hand down to his son, but he would also not be permitted to go on adaptive hunting trips. This was not because he was deemed a danger to himself or others, but only because VA had appointed a fiduciary to help the family manage their finances. What’s worse is that this injustice is happening to the dependents of these veterans as well. That’s why I have introduced a bill to protect the constitutional rights of our veterans by ending this arbitrary practice. My bill, the Veterans Second Amendment Protection Act (S.669), protects the rights of veterans by ensuring that only a judge — not an agency bureaucrat — can determine whether a veteran is a danger to himself or herself or to others and whether to refer the veteran’s name to the FBI. This is to ensure that veterans receive due process under the law. This legislation is supported by the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, AMVETS, and the Military Order of the Purple Heart.”

How dare these people treat our veterans this way. Something is really wrong with our country when our vets are treated this way.

  137. paleotroy Says:

Rose, email me and give a time when you want to talk on the phone.

  138. jrinNC Says:

Also received this email from my congressman Walter B. Jones:

Washington, D.C. – Today, U.S. Congressman Walter B. Jones (NC-03) sent a letter to President Barack Obama inquiring why Commerce Secretary Gary Locke was given authority to authorize the export of United States missile technology to the People’s Republic of China, and asking the President to disclose the nature and extent of conversations about equipment and technology transfers with Chinese Communist Party and government officials.

“If there have been any discussions between the United States government and China about missile technology exports, Congress and the American people need to know about it,” said Congressman Jones.

Congressman Jones’ letter to President Obama is as follows:

    Dear President Obama:

It has come to my attention that last month, you delegated your function as President of the United States to the Secretary of Commerce, Mr. Gary Locke, under section 1512 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1999. That authority granted Secretary Locke the power to certify in advance that any export of missile equipment or technology to the People’s Republic of China is not detrimental to the United States and will not measurably improve their missile capabilities.

Our own Central Intelligence Agency has reported that a majority of China’s long range strategic missiles are aimed at U.S. cities; therefore the potential export of any missile technology to that country is problematic. Given that Secretary Locke has just traveled to China this week, this delegation of authority raises a number of serious and disturbing questions.

Why did you delegate your presidential powers on a decision so vital to the safety and security of all Americans? Specifically, why did you delegate this national security decision to the Secretary of Commerce and not the Secretary of Defense? What qualifies the Secretary of Commerce to certify that a particular missile technology being exported to China is not detrimental to US interests? Has your administration had discussions with officials of the Chinese Communist Party or the Chinese government about transferring United States missile technology to the People’s Republic of China? If so, what missile technology have you discussed exporting? Why would the Chinese want to buy U.S. missile equipment or technology that does not measurably improve their capabilities? And finally, what promises or assurances might have been made by officials of the Chinese Communist Party or the Chinese Government in exchange for Secretary Locke potentially allowing the export of missile technology to China?

The implications of these above questions are obvious, so if the administration is not contemplating the export of missile technology to China I would certainly welcome any clarification, and look forward to having what is precisely being contemplated shared with Congress and with the American people.

I told everyone, they are doing stuff behind our congress’s backs and they find out about it after the deeds are done.
