Has anyone heard anything about the “nasal vaccine” for the swine flu? I’m not sure if what i’ve seen has addressed the nasal vaccine.

    ******
Troy posted a vid that included info mentioning the OTC flu-mist, if that’s what you mean?

The vid talked about the mist containing live virus, having been patented and how the dr in the intereview explained a search for the patent and found H1N1 DNA stings among patents. Not real recent patent. Some yrs back.

Related, H1N1 vaccine was patented in ’08. Since then, propaganda to create a need for such and deals cut by BO w/ big pharma.

Dr. Ott was being interviewed in the vid Troy posted.

The mist does contain a weakened live virus from info of the manufacturers web page. “FluMist® is a vaccine approved for the prevention of certain types of influenza disease in children, adolescents, and adults 2-49 years of age. FluMist may not protect everyone who gets it. FluMist is not right for everyone. FluMist must not be given to: people with history of hypersensitivity to eggs, egg proteins, gentamicin, gelatin, or arginine; people with life-threatening reactions to previous influenza vaccinations; and children and adolescents receiving aspirin or aspirin-containing therapy.

Children less than 24 months of age are not eligible for FluMist.

The following people may not be able to get FluMist or may be able to get it only in certain situations: people with asthma or active wheezing, or children less than 5 years of age with recurrent wheezing; people with a history of Guillain-Barré syndrome; people with a weakened immune system; people with long-term medical conditions including heart disease, kidney disease, and metabolic diseases, such as diabetes; and pregnant women. “

  14. Tenacity Says:

    Okay Gang,

I’d like to start a trend here and try to make it go viral. I’m not saying that S/Ob is off limits, but I want to redirect the attack more toward the head/eyes/brain/heart of the snake and Barry ain’t it.

We constantly hear that all debate against this fascist regime is racism/bigotry. If we attack the CFR, Rockefeller, Soros, H.W., the CIA, Federal Reserve, World Bank and Congress, they might be able to call us anti-Zionists, but will not accuse us of being bigoted against Blacks. It will also remove us from the partisan debate. It will shine a light on the likes of Beck as being a shill. Instead of talking about S/Ob being ineligible, let’s talk about why George Soros (the Roths’ agent) Rockefeller, the CIA, H.W. and Brzezinski needed a communist/soviet trained fall guy to facilitate their globalist agenda.

Just an idea. What do you think?

While I can’t speak for others Ten, I think Glenn Beck has done wonders for our cause in exposing Obama and his cronies. He’s the only one on TV that we’ve got who is willing to challenge the establishment (besides Hannity). If not for him, many of us would still have our heads buried in the sand hoping all of this would simply go away. Perhaps we should work to convince Glenn to go beyond the Rathke/ACORN/SEIU/Soros links to the even bigger picture and have him check out organizations like the CFR, et al. and start tearing them apart like he has Obama and his thugs. I must admit that I have never been one for conspiracies — until now and I still don’t fully understand all of what is going on with this NWO. I’m learning though.

The Council On Foreign Relations and What It Has To Do With Corporate Control Of The News CFR Seal

What do Dan Rather, Barbara Walters, Jim Lehrer, Rupert Murdoch, Tom Brokaw and the late William F. Buckley have in common? They are all members of the CFR, The Council On Foreign Relations. The stated goal of the CFR is to manipulate the News to bring about a new world order or corporate control of everything. This is not some weird conspiracy theory, it is stated in their original charter. Who else belongs to the CFR, Disney’s Michael Eisner and ABC’s Thomas Murphy, Tom Johnson, CEO of CNN, Time Warner’s Gerald Levine, and many, many more media CEO’s who have merged their empires under the CFR’s guidance.

Here is a good video that traces the history of news media manipulation by large corporations in the U.S by buying up newspapers and using institutions such as the Council On Foreign Relations to shape U.S. policy and public opinion.

“Baron M.A. Rothschild wrote, “Give me control over a nation’s currency and I care not who makes its laws.”

All that is needed to effectively control a government is to have control over the nation’s money: a central bank with a monopoly over the supply of money and credit.

There is much more to say about this group and their plans for America. Gary Allen, in “The Rockefeller File,” states that they are behind the many regional government plans, which would abolish city, county, and state lines, leaving us at the mercy of federal bureaucrats; and behind the push for “land use” controls. They want “federal control of everything. Since they intend to control the federal government…”

There are also the many allegations of involvement in gun running, drug smuggling, prostitution and sex slaves; and the many mysterious assassinations and “suicides” of witnesses and others who get too close to the truth…but that is another story. “

Swine flu deaths show this flu is different: experts

    http://www.reuters.com/article/GCA-SwineFlu/idUSTRE58E6NZ20090915

Seasonal flu causes bronchitis and other upper respiratory disease. But Zaki, the chief infectious disease pathologist at CDC, said the new virus had burrowed into the lungs of the 90 or so people he examined after they died, and they had huge amounts of the virus in their blood.

“This is almost exactly what we see with avian flu,” Zaki said. “This looks like avian flu on steroids.”

    EXPERIMENTAL DRUGS

Dr. Yoshi Kawaoka of the University of Wisconsin said tests in monkeys showed the virus lives and replicates 1,000-fold better in the lungs than does seasonal flu.

He said the No. 1 drug of choice against H1N1 — Roche AG’s and Gilead Sciences Inc’s Tamiflu — lowered the so-called viral load of virus in the lungs just enough to help the body fight back.

Experimental flu drugs lower it even more, notably Daiichi Sankyo Co Ltd’s CS 8958 and another drug called T-705 or favipiravir, made by Fujifilm Holdings Corp unit Toyama Chemical Co, Kawaoka said.

Zaki said 90 percent of the fatalities he looked at had some condition that would predispose them to serious disease. They had a median age of 38 and one victim was a two-month-old infant who died within a day of getting sick.

Nearly half — 46 percent — were obese, many had fatty liver disease, 27 percent had heart disease and 22 percent had asthma, he said.

Dr. Guillermo Ruiz-Palacios of Mexico’s National Institute of Medical Sciences and Nutrition said many Mexican patients with severe disease were also obese. In addition, patients came in late for treatment and many were infected with a second common virus, called parainfluenza virus.

Fewer than a third of the U.S. deaths, 29 percent, had a so-called secondary bacterial infection, usually Streptococcus pneumoniae, Zaki said.

Ruiz-Palacios also said the new virus can be found in the urine and feces of patients, something that may affect how it spreads.

    http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2009/sep/20/swine-flu-costs-un-report

The UN’s request for the money comes as the virus begins to establish itself in some of the world’s most vulnerable countries. On Wednesday, health officials told one website that the African continent had recorded 8,187 confirmed cases of swine flu and 41 deaths.

(Somehow the feeling of UN extortion comes to mind…Not that any death is one two many, but that percentage is .005007.)

Someone with money and influence seperate from the CFR, Bilderberg group, Trilateral Comm. etc. needs to start a media corporation and get the truth out. That’s about as likely to happen as snow in July in the desert. Honestly, when you read all of this stuff it really makes everything we ‘little people’ do kind of irrelevant. Fox is not really on our side because Murdoch wants to take over the world media and is part of the nwo and lies all the time about his agenda, Beck is a fraud as are all the media types, CFR members are most of the people in govt., media and the wealthy, Taitz is a secret Russian agent who wants to bring down the US, conspiracies abound, people march in honesty and they are ignored etc., etc., etc. I think there is no answer to any of it. Pray to God to keep you safe and go about living your life as best as you can. That’s it, imo. It is all getting very tiresome. There is no one to believe in anymore because who is really telling the truth. What is truth anyway? Someone answer that for me because I just don’t know anymore what to believe. Seriously, how can anyone defeat those who have been plotting this evil since 1921? And who is really on the side of truth, honesty, goodness and America that is influential enough to make a difference??? Anyone out there besides us average Americans? We need to hear from you.

I am always interested in the root cause Ten.

The overwhelming concern for me right now though is HR 3458. We take what we are all able to do on the Internet for granted – but it is very fragile.

I posted a couple of comments on Rose’s last thread about this. The FCC is launching this attack on Monday and it is bad. What makes it even worse is that it is too abstract and technical for most to see it as a grave threat to free information.

If they pass it, the government and its pillow partner Google, will control the Internet. With the government controlling the pipes, Google controlling flow and access through their infrastructure, and the FCC able to decide “lawful content”, the only remaining free media will be gone. Sites like Rose’s and many others, will be sandboxed and blocked with the click of a mouse.

    Dear Judge Land,

I have just received some very sad and disparaging news re the case of Connie Rhodes. I hope it is in no way true that you have dismissed this case, calling it frivolous, and not recognizing the sacrifice of Orly Taitz (and several other attorneys, as well) whose ONLY wish is to see the Constitution upheld, preserve our freedom, and prevent continued LAWLESSNESS.

Orly’s life has been threatened, her cars tampered with, in order to stop the pursuit of TRUTH and JUSTICE to which EVERY American citizen is entitled. So much more for our military, who risk losing life and limb, sacrificing themselves for the freedom we no longer have. It would be insane for them not to know EXACTLY who their Commander-in-Chief is because they also risk losing their protection under the Geneva Convention.

Orly is guilty ONLY of loving her country; Barack Hussein Obama, aka Barry Soetoro, aka Barry Obama, aka Barry Dunham, aka, etc. is guilty of usurping an office for which he is not eligible BY HIS OWN ADMISSION (as a dual national) and now of committing treason by REFUSING to release his Vital Records in the interest of TRUTH, JUSTICE, and the very FREEDOM and SURVIVAL of America as a nation. It is incumbent upon this man of many aliases, unreported on his law license and to date, to IDENTIFY himself.

Your Honor is SWORN to uphold the Constitution and to discern Truth and promote Justice.

This case, as every other of the eligibility cases that remain WRONGFULLY unheard, is NOT “politics as usual” in any way. In fact, it’s not politics at all. It is about the very foundation of our law and the basic protections that the Constitution gives and are now under siege and being violated with intent to harm and destroy innocents. It is about the removal of the Sovereignty of a nation. It is about DECEIT unto DEATH.

NOBODY wins here unless truth is revealed and justice prevails.

I urge Your Honor to “cast aside all vain imaginings” and use wisdom and discernment to seek after truth with honor and good judgment , to PURSUE truth and justice in order to save our country.

I am a grandmother whose desire it is to see the little “light of her life” live FREE, in a FREE country, the essence “ heart, and soul” of which CANNOT be COMPROMISED or polluted by any means.

“All that is necessary for evil to triumph, is for good men to do nothing.” Edmund Burke’s foundational principle of law.

Ignoring evil promotes evil until evil can no longer be ignored.

At this very precarious and dangerous time for the very existence of our country, we need real heroes to defend and protect us.

    Please be one.

Most Sincerely, I Identify Myself As,

    Fran Austin, Grandmother

Morning folks, been giving this quite a bit of thought and am hesitant to say anything at all but my heart is heavy this morning. My intentions are not to scare anyone either. I know there will be many who do not see this. I am not by any means giving up the fight by this revelation, it’s only natural that we fight for preservation. But the NWO is inevitable. And humanly speaking, you and I have very little influence to stop the current course of events. One has to only study the Bilderbergs the Rockefellers the Illuminati the Papacy and many others to see the mind set of this NWO. The idea of total world domination has basically been around before long 1798 when a major player was silenced but was resurrected again approximately around I think it was 1929. They are finalizing their plan folks. IT will be. This NWO will be forced and a terrible time of trouble will result. I am not going to say who this superpower is, but a superpower will give life to the NWO. Nor am I going to say who the major player is. Each person here has to discern all info they have been researching and as I like to say the light bulb will turn on. History tells us that centuries of division and separation have been on this earth. The powers that are will succeed in bringing about this NWO – it IS written.

I pray for each and everyone of you that you will be protected during these times to come. My only advice is keep your eyes and heart towards heaven. It is not too late to look in that direction. But a day will come when it will be too late.

And that my friends is my humble attempt at a sermon this morning which I have been led to divulge.

But before you respond, bear in mind what you all know has been happening and what is being done to not only this nation, but to other nations as well. The light has turned on for many of you – you just have to now decipher how this impacts you personally.

Thank you all and especially Rose for giving me an outlet to be able to speak from my heart.

If you need any smoothie recipes, I’m at your service. Low fat or high calorie.

You probably need to pack as many calories in small servings as possible. Might want to get the nurse to blend something up w/ peanut butter, banana, protein and yogurt. Use crushed ice. It’s a lot easier on your blender, takes less thinning, so you get a thicker smoothie. Should be able to add a multivitamin in there too w/o making it taste medicine-ie.

You can also get natural peanut butter that contains the peanut oil instead of other additives. That’s a healthier fat.

Speaking on health insurance reform on 9/10/09, here is what Barack Obama said (Taken from a transcript posted at the White House)

When our youngest daughter, Sasha, was diagnosed with meningitis when she was just three months old, it was one of the scariest moments of my life. And we had to have a spinal tap administered and she ended up being in the hospital for three or four days. And it was touch and go, we didn’t know whether she’d be permanently affected by it. It was the nurses who walked us through what was happening and made sure that Sasha was okay.

Perhaps unaware of this, or perhaps sticking to the truth, Michelle Obama in giving her own speech says something completely different; i.e Sasha never had meningitis.

(Also taken from a transcript posted at the White House)

……according to the NYT, she DID NOT have meningitis.

Local Cops Get Access to Pentagon “Domestic Terror” Database
    Kurt Nimmo
    Infowars
    September 16, 2009

On Monday, the Pentagon posted a news release on its website announcing the DoD and the Department of Homeland Security will “grant select state and major urban area fusion center personnel access to classified terrorism-related information residing in DoD’s classified network.” Federalized cops around the country will now be able to “access specific terrorism-related information” on Pentagon and DHS computer systems “in order to detect, deter, prevent and respond to homeland security threats.”

The DoD and the Department of Homeland Security will “grant select state and major urban area fusion center personnel access to classified terrorism-related information residing in DoD’s classified network.”

These “homeland security threats” have nothing to do with al-Qaeda or Muslims radicalized by the CIA in the 1980s.

In June Infowars posted an article revealing how the Pentagon indoctrinates its employees and soldiers. A multiple choice question included on a Level 1 Antiterrorism Awareness training course required for all DoD personnel asked the following question: “Which of the following is an example of low-level terrorist activity?” The correct answer was “protests.” Of course, this nothing new — the Pentagon, the FBI, and the police have considered political activists terrorists for decades, a fact revealed Senator Frank Church’s Select Committee on Intelligence in the 1970s.

A FOIA request in 2006 by the ACLU revealed widespread surveillance of the antiwar movement during Bush’s reign. “The documents come in response to a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit filed by the ACLU earlier this year after evidence surfaced that the Pentagon was secretly conducting surveillance of protest activities, anti-war organizations and groups opposed to military recruitment policies. The Pentagon shared the information with other government agencies through the Threat and Local Observation Notice (TALON) database,” noted an ACLU press release. “The TALON database was intended to track groups or individuals with links to terrorism, but the documents released today show that the Pentagon gathered information on anti-war protesters using sources from the Department of Homeland Security, local police departments and FBI Joint Terrorism Task Forces.”

TALON, short for Threat and Local Observation Notice, was authorized in 2002 by then Deputy Defense Secretary and high-level neocon Paul D. Wolfowitz. The database was maintained by the United States Air Force. On August 21, 2007, the US Defense Department announced that it would shut down the database, along with the secretive and classified CIFA that was given responsibility for analyzing the TALON reports. Many civil libertarians applauded the decision. However, data from TALON was not sent to the dumpster — it was migrated over to the FBI and included in its Guardian database. The Guardian Threat Tracking System, created in 2004, was created by the FBI “to manage the resolution of threats and suspicious incidents.”

Local cops with federal security clearances will now be able to access TALON and related data. “Increasing the breadth of law enforcement that have access to terrorism-related data will further improve the ability of fusion centers to prevent, detect, deter, and respond to terrorist attacks, and advance the combined missions of DHS and DoD to protect the nation’s security,” largely from “domestic terrorists” and “extremists” of the sort spelled out by the DHS in their now infamous “rightwing extremism” report.

In other words, the next time the cops pull you over because you have a “Don’t Tread On Me” bumper sticker on your car — designated as terrorist symbolism by the MIAC report — they will be calling in to see if you’re a “homeland security threat.”

“As fusion centers gain more and more access to Americans’ private information, the information about them being made available to the American public remains woefully inadequate,” according to Michael Macleod-Ball, Acting Director of the ACLU Washington Legislative Office. “There is a stunning lack of oversight at these fusion centers and, as we’ve seen, these centers are rapidly becoming a breeding ground for overzealous intelligence activities. Opening the door for domestic law enforcement to gain access to classified military intelligence coupled with no guidelines restricting the military’s role in fusion centers is a recipe for disaster.”

It is not a “recipe for disaster” — it is a recipe for a police state that rivals anything accomplished by East Germany’s Stazi, the KGB, SIDE, DINA, or other alphabet soup secret and political police organizations.

Obama will facilitate the process when he extends the USA Patriot Act later this year. The Patriot Act gives “the government the authority to access business records, operate roving wiretaps and conduct surveillance on ‘lone wolf’ suspects with no known link to foreign governments or terrorist groups,” the New York Times reports today.

As the DHS under the influence of the ADL tells us, the typical “lone wolf” is not a fellow traveler of the CIA’s al-Qaeda, but is influenced by “rightwing extremism,” defined as Second Amendment and pro-life activists, people opposed to illegal immigration, returning veterans, and the “racists” – as Jimmy Carter would have it – opposed to the globalist agenda of Obama.

    Ambushed Marines’ Aid Call ‘Rejected’
    September 10, 2009
    Agence France-Presse

NATO-led forces are investigating the death of four Marines in eastern Afghanistan after their commanders reportedly rejected requests for artillery fire in a battle with insurgents, the Pentagon said on Wednesday.

Tuesday’s incident was “under investigation” and details remained unclear, press secretary Geoff Morrell told a news conference.

A McClatchy newspapers’ journalist who witnessed the battle reported that a team of Marine trainers made repeated appeals for air and artillery support after being pinned down by insurgents in the village of Ganjgal in eastern Kunar province.

The U.S. troops had to wait more than an hour for attack helicopters to come to their aid and their appeal for artillery fire was rejected, with commanders citing new rules designed to avoid civilian casualties, the report said.

Morrell said the helicopters were not hampered by any restrictions on air power but had to travel a long distance to reach the Marines at the remote location near the Pakistan border.

“I think that it did take some time for close air support to arrive in this case, but this is not a result of more restrictive conditions in which it can be used,” he said.

“It was the result, as is often the case in Afghanistan, of the fact that there are great distances often between bases where such assets are located and where our troops are out operating.”

Morrell could not confirm whether appeals for artillery fire were denied by commanders.

According to the McClatchy report by Jonathan Landay, the U.S. advisors assisting Afghan forces had been assured before the operation that “air cover would be five minutes away.”

The incident comes after the top commander of U.S. and NATO forces in Afghanistan, General Stanley McChrystal, issued new restrictions on the use of military force and air raids in a bid to prevent civilian deaths.

McChrystal has warned that civilian casualties caused by the NATO-led force risk alienating the Afghan population and jeopardizing the war effort.

But the general and other top military officials have insisted air support and fire power would not be restricted when U.S. troops were under direct threat.

Bombing runs by coalition forces have declined sharply since McChrystal took over command in June, U.S.A Today reported on Wednesday, citing military statistics.

Tuesday’s firefight in eastern Afghanistan involved a 13-member team of U.S. Marine and Army trainers assigned to the Afghan national army, the report said.

Eight Afghan soldiers and police and an Afghan interpreter also died in the battle, which lasted for hours with insurgents unleashing a barrage of gunfire and rockets from mountain positions, the report said.

When an Afghan soldier demanded helicopter gunships, U.S. Major Kevin Williams replied through an interpreter: “We are pinned down. We are running low on ammo. We have no air. We’ve lost today.”

The Americans were assisting Afghan forces in an operation that called for Afghans searching the hamlet for weapons and then meeting village elders to plan police patrols.

But U.S. officers suspected insurgents were tipped off about the operation beforehand, as the coalition and Afghan forces were ambushed as they approached the outskirts of the hamlet at dawn, the report said.

He occupied a unique space between the world of the mind and the world of action.

Networks of thinkers, policy-makers, and politicians revolved around him — and not because he thrust himself into their midst but because his mind and character attracted them to him.

To go to work for him, as I did fresh out of college almost 30 years ago, was to enter a rich and exciting intellectual universe, filled with learning and integrity and a commitment to the well-being of society.

I fear such a universe may no longer exist.

A Better Missile Defense for a Safer Europe

    By ROBERT M. GATES

    http://www.nytimes.com/2009/09/20/opinion/20gates.html?em

Those who say we are scrapping missile defense in Europe are either misinformed or misrepresenting what we are doing. This shift has even been distorted as some sort of concession to Russia, which has fiercely opposed the old plan. Russia’s attitude and possible reaction played no part in my recommendation to the president on this issue. Of course, considering Russia’s past hostility toward American missile defense in Europe, if Russia’s leaders embrace this plan, then that will be an unexpected — and welcome — change of policy on their part. But in any case the facts are clear: American missile defense on the continent will continue, and not just in Central Europe, the most likely location for future SM-3 sites, but, we hope, in other NATO countries as well.

This proposal is, simply put, a better way forward — as was recognized by Prime Minister Donald Tusk of Poland when he called it “a chance for strengthening Europe’s security.” It is a very real manifestation of our continued commitment to our NATO allies in Europe — iron-clad proof that the United States believes that the alliance must remain firm.

I am often characterized as “pragmatic.” I believe this is a very pragmatic proposal. I have found since taking this post that when it comes to missile defense, some hold a view bordering on theology that regards any change of plans or any cancellation of a program as abandonment or even breaking faith. I encountered this in the debate over the Defense Department’s budget for the fiscal year 2010 when I ended three programs: the airborne laser, the multiple-kill vehicle and the kinetic energy interceptor. All were plainly unworkable, prohibitively expensive and could never be practically deployed — but had nonetheless acquired a devoted following.

I have been a strong supporter of missile defense ever since President Ronald Reagan first proposed it in 1983. But I want to have real capacity as soon as possible, and to take maximum advantage of new technologies to combat future threats.

The bottom line is that there will be American missile defense in Europe to protect our troops there and our NATO allies. The new proposal provides needed capacity years earlier than the original plan, and will provide even more robust protection against longer-range threats on about the same timeline as the previous program. We are strengthening — not scrapping — missile defense in Europe.

Robert M. Gates is the secretary of defense.

This $400/year fee is extremely foolish from another important vantage point,

the U.S. government can’t afford dramatic increases in the rolls of Americans that will be getting financial assistance from the government to buy health insurance that all these health care bills in Congress will be authorizing.

Health insurance premiums are expensive and after the present health care reform initiative with all its mandates is implemented even more expensive.

This insurance expense will put a lot of pressure on employers to just throw up their hands and say I am done with this expense let the employees get health care insurance on their own and

this $400/year fee won’t be a strong deterrent to stop American employers from this throwing in the towel on providing health insurance plans for their employees.

(This is just a regular guy sounding off the same way I do. For the life of me, I cannot understand why this particular aspect of the effects of BaucusCare isn’t getting some serious traction! Good thing I’m not a conspiracy theorist!)

  114. Tenacity Says:

    jrinNC,
Your assessment may be accurate, but it may not. I have never pretended to know what victory in the battle for our republic looks like for God will determine that. Victory may just be to protect family, church, community and perhaps state from taking the mark. I know that victory is always subject to keeping faith by turning to God and trusting Him 100%. As a student of Revelations, I am watchful. Everyone should do their own research but be careful not to buy into all the disinformation out there. Remember, God does not copy Satan, but Satan and his ilk copies God all the time. There is not a creative cell in Satan’s body. So watch out for all the counterfeits. If I do nothing but convey this message well in the midst of all of this, then I will have been successful.

In spite of this, we must not surrender. Be wise, yes, but not surrender. You are correct that this has been going on for a long time and their are good reasons to believe that the time is near. I do not believe that the seals have been broken and no earthly prophet can tell you when that will happen. Those in Him have been provided with the signs and the wisdom to see this happening if they seek it and study His Word (not the internet and not the counterfeits). I highly recommend the teachings of MEM Ministries, Brent Avery, a Revelations scholar and called teacher. That’s Maranatha Evangelistic Ministries. http://www.memministries.org/audio.html
I have met Brent and attended about 15 hours of seminar. I have the CD’s from that seminar and listen to them repeatedly every chance I get. Brent’s inspired teaching has served to expand and confirm my own study.

One thing I am confident of. We must resist. There is good reason to be concerned, but keep your mind on the real goals. There are benefits to enduring. There will definitely be much to endure. I trust in God’s protection, more of my soul than this mortal body. It is our souls that must be guarded. Satan’s number one goal is to get us to turn our backs on God. Evil will consume us if we do not resist it and remain vigilant. God will sustain us eternally regardless of our immediate fate. The time may be upon us, but perhaps not for a while. By turning to Him, we may protract the breaking of the seals. I believe the trigger is the filling of the bowls of judgment with the blood of the martyrs. I could say much more but suspect I have been on the soap box too long.

I urge you to keep up the good fight…never ever surrender. Being a martyr is not my desire, but will be appropriately rewarded if that is my fate. Let’s educate as many as we are able as to who the enemy is and to their smoke screen of deception. Be prepared in every way and help others to be prepared. In Him.

Obama has went on the Sunday media extravaganza pimping his Obamacare Plan. Suprisingly enough ABC actually asked him a question about the ACORN pimp & prostitute scandal. His comments are strange to say the least. Is he asking for an investigation against James O’Keefe, Hannah Giles or ACORN? I will leave it for you to decided.

    Breitbart

President Barack Obama says there should be an investigation into the hidden-camera video involving employees at the activist group ACORN and a couple posing as a prostitute and her pimp.

The two ACORN workers are seen apparently advising the couple to lie about her profession and launder her earnings to get housing aid.

The video is only the latest problem for the group, which had nearly $1 million embezzled by its founder’s brother and has been accused of voter registration fraud. The House and Senate voted last week to deny federal funds to ACORN.

Obama told ABC’s “This Week” in an interview broadcast Sunday that what he saw on the video “was certainly inappropriate and deserves to be investigated.” But thepresident did not say who should investigate. And he said it is not a major national issue he pays much attention to.

“Frankly, it’s not really something I’ve followed closely,” Obama said. “I didn’t even know that ACORN was getting a whole lot of federal money.”

He didn’t know ACORN was getting a lot of federal money? Color me skeptical. He trained for ACORN and was also their lawyer yet he doesn’t know know that they were getting our taxpayer dollars?

As far as him “not following closely” is ridiculous. He is ACORN.

    Obama plays dumb on ACORN
    By Michelle Malkin • September 20, 2009 11:21 AM
    Photoshop credit: Leo Alberti

Channeling clueless Charlie Gibson and Nancy Pelosi, President Obama is playing dumb about ACORN. Here’s what he said on ABC’s This Week this morning:

STEPHANOPOULOS: But have your — have some of your allies made it easier for — handed your opponents some ammunition, like ACORN, for example…

OBAMA: Well, look, the — you know, I think that — are there folks in the Democratic camp or on the left who haven’t — haven’t always operated in ways that I’d appreciate? Absolutely.

STEPHANOPOULOS: Congress said they should cut off all funding for ACORN.

    OBAMA: Is — is — is…

STEPHANOPOULOS: … all funding for ACORN. Are you for that?

OBAMA: Is that true on the other side, as well? Of course that’s true.

STEPHANOPOULOS: How about the funding for ACORN?

OBAMA: You know, it’s — frankly, it’s not really something I’ve followed closely. I didn’t even know that ACORN was getting a whole lot of federal money.

STEPHANOPOULOS: Both the Senate and the House have voted to cut it off.

OBAMA: You know, what I know is, is that what I saw on that video was certainly inappropriate and deserves to be investigated.

STEPHANOPOULOS: So you’re not committing to — to cut off the federal funding?

OBAMA: George, this is not the biggest issue facing the country. It’s not something I’m paying a lot of attention to.
It strains credulity — no, it snaps credulity in half — to believe Obama “didn’t even know” that ACORN was “getting a whole lot of federal money” given his extensive legal services on behalf of the group and training for its voter education arm, Project Vote. (Go re-read my column from June 2008, “The ACORN Obama knows,” and all the links for a refresher course.)

Repeat after me: Obama is ACORN. ACORN is Obama. Barack Obama can no more disown ACORN than he could disown his own shadow.

Now that the White House supports an investigation, Congress should make sure to investigate:

    1) How Team Obama hid its $800,000 campaign payment to ACORN through front group “Citizen Services, Inc.”;

    2) How Team Obama shared donor lists with the president’s old employer, ACORN affiliate Project Vote, a 501(c)(3) organization, which is prohibited from engaging in political activity (Mr. President, meet Anita MonCrief);

    3) And how Project Vote and hundreds of myriad entities intermingled non-profit, tax-exempt funding with the national ACORN flagship’s political operations — a buried story Obama would know about if he read NYTimes reporter Stephanie Strom’s report last October before she was muzzled as Election Day drew near.

    Bring it on.

Will the real racists please stand up!
    By Bob Weir

When a majority of voters elected the first African-American to the highest office in the land, one would have thought it was a positive sign that racism had been dealt a serious blow. After all, without millions of whites voting for Barack Obama he would have had no chance of being elected president. John McCain, his white opponent, lost the race, even though the overwhelming majority of voters are white. Hence, if racism were as prevalent as some race-baiters proclaim, President McCain would be occupying the White House right now. Furthermore, given the fact that approximately 96% of blacks voted for the black candidate, we could make the argument that blacks are the racists in this country. Yet, most fair-minded people, me included, didn’t try to make that argument because it wasn’t hard to understand the motives of blacks, having dealt with a history of discrimination, favoring the first of their race with a serious chance of becoming Chief Executive. Although I voted for McCain because I believe his service to the country merited his ascension, when Obama was elected I felt it was a good sign that we had achieved a milestone in race relations.

Apparently, others thought of it as a way to silence opposition to the new president’s agenda. The Machiavellians in our midst have concluded that most whites are too afraid of being labeled racist; hence they would meekly submit to anything said or done by the first black Commander in Chief. Consequently, when thousands of Americans attend town hall meetings across the country and marches in Washington to protest what appears to be a government power grab that is unprecedented in the history of our nation, they are labeled racists by the cunning cynics on the left.

Iran may consider a proposal from Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez to build a backup “nuclear village” in his nation to produce nuclear energy and also to have a safe fall-back production capability in case there is an attack by Israel or the United States on nuclear facilities in Iran, according to a report from Joseph Farah’s G2 Bulletin.

Chavez, in a visit last week to Iran, proposed to Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad the idea of building a project in Venezuela.

Security sources have confirmed such a “nuclear village” could become the Iranian nuclear production alternative, or a location to hide especially critical nuclear components from attack.

    ‘Gay’ curriculum challenges students’ faith

A homosexual advocacy initiative claims that over 250 California schools have registered to show their students a curriculum of films that encourages teens to rethink their sexuality, society and even religion.

The curriculum includes videos made by a San Francisco group calling itself “the best in LGBT media,” and includes a clip in which a boy “comes out” by wearing his mother’s bikini and another that uses Native American spirituality to depict bisexual individuals as “two-spirit” people.

The accompanying discussion guides also encourage students to evaluate their religious traditions based on whether they encourage “choice” in sexuality or “reinforce gender expectations.”

The program, called “Youth in Motion: Empowering students through LGBTQ film,” is a joint effort between the Gay-Straight Alliance Network and Frameline, which describes itself as a nonprofit organization dedicated to the promotion of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender media arts.

“Our goal is to give student activists and teachers new tools to educate their peers about lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender history and culture (and have fun doing it!),” states the curriculum’s website.

The curriculum comes in several packages designed for middle and high school students, including “Gender Matters,” which encourages children to think of sexuality outside the male/female dichotomy, and “In the Family,” which takes a critical slant on traditional marriage laws.

Congress, Obama team up to kill marriage protections
‘Respect’ proposal has nearly 100 members of Congress endorsing homosexuality

Nearly 100 members of the U.S. House are working in lockstep with the Obama administration to try to eliminate protections for traditional marriage in the United States with the “Respect for Marriage Act” that has just been introduced in Congress.

H.R. 3567 was introduced just days ago by U.S. Rep. Jerrold Nadler, D-New York, and more than 90 co-sponsors.

“This legislation would repeal the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), a 1996 law which discriminates against lawfully married same-sex couples,” Nadler said in a statement on his website. The proposal has been assigned to committee.

“The 13-year-old DOMA singles out legally married same-sex couples for discriminatory treatment under federal law, selectively denying them critical federal responsibilities and rights, including programs like social security that are intended to ensure the stability and security of American families,” his statement continued.

“The introduction of the Respect for Marriage Act responds directly to a call from President Obama for congressional action on the issue. As the president recently confirmed: ‘I stand by my long-standing commitment to work with Congress to repeal the so-called Defense of Marriage Act. It’s discriminatory, it interferes with states’ rights, and it’s time we overturned it,” the statement said.

ACORN votes are nothing but ‘cover’
Bachmann says disgraced group still eligible for billions of tax dollars

U.S. Rep. John Boehner of Ohio, the top Republican in the U.S. House of Representatives, is demanding a straight up-or-down vote on a bill dedicated to removing ACORN from the list of recipients of federal largesse, or says he’ll force the issue.

And a key conservative vote, U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn., says unless there is such an action, it will mean the recent votes on that very issue were nothing but “cover.”

Filmmaker James O’Keefe and an associate, Hannah Giles, for the last week have been posting undercover videos on the Big Government.com website, revealing the actions and attitudes of employees of ACORN, an organization for whom President Obama once worked.

The result has been that the U.S. Census Bureau has cut ties to Acorn and both houses of Congress have taken votes to halt funding to the organization. The problem with that, Bachmann says, is that the votes were on amendments to different bills and “still have far to go before they reach the president’s pen for signature into law.”

Bachmann warns, “ACORN still remains eligible for billions of your tax dollars.”

“And don’t think that the Democrats won’t try to strip the ACORN language from whatever bill finally makes it to the White House,” Bachmann continued. “These votes were their cover.

“They think that you’ll be fooled into thinking that they’ve heard your outrage and are abandoning their good buddy, ACORN.”

I just read the headline on our homepage (which gets its news from AP) and the only thing Obama thinks is worthy of investigation is the video-taped incidences — they won’t admit of course that the problems are systemic. Of course Bertha Lewis chimes in agreeing with BO that they need to investigate these video-taped incidences. They just hope it will all go away after they fire a handful of employees. I wonder how many videos Breibart has left and what other illegal activities in ACORN they might divulge. Something to look forward to!

  164. rosettasister Says:

    Part One

jr, I’ve been thinking about what you wrote this morning.

Actually, I’ve been looking for an opportunity to broach this subject.

It sort of coincides with your concerns and beliefs.

There’s a school of thought out there that not only believes that world governments have been hiding the truth from us regarding ETs, but also believes there are people who are carrying on activities that not even our govts know about.

And I’d like for you to entertain a question.

Is there a possibility that it might be in the best interest of some for the so-called endtimes to arrive sooner rather than later?

What makes Ahmadinejad so scary is that he, too, has an eschatological belief.

What I’m trying to say is some very scary people may have it within their power to manifest a world calamity of their own making, in which countless millions, maybe even billions would perish.

    Why would they do this?

They are maniacal and believe themselves to be a part of God’s plan for humanity, when in fact there’s nothing godly about their intentions.

If you had unlimited power at your disposal and you wrongly believed that your actions were a part of some cosmic plan to actuate the Second Coming, wouldn’t you act on those beliefs?

I know this theory is way out there. I only ask you to consider the possibility.

Is there a possibility that some may trigger a false flag attack because it would serve their selfish interests?

But is there also a possibility that some may trigger a world calamity not out of selfishness, but out of a heartfelt desire to see their Lord?

Personally, I choose not to lend my energies to any such possible outcomes.

I’ll leave that to the Lord.

I truly believe that thoughts are things. And your thoughts may be more powerful than others.

  165. rosettasister Says:

    Part Two

Here are a couple of links. I don’t know if an iota of truth can be found there.

    http://www.bibliotecapleyades.net/sociopolitica/esp_sociopol_aviary04.htm

    http://www.disclosureproject.org/disclosureserves.htm

But in some cases – high up on the food chain of the covert entity running UFO secrecy – the two views meet. A place where militarism and eschatology merge. Where Star Wars and Armageddon join.

In tracing the history of both the UFO civilian community and the covert policy-making group concerned with UFOs, we have found a growing penetration of the latter into the former. So much so that at this point there are projects which ostensibly are innocent civilian initiatives but which in reality are totally controlled and financed by ‘cut-outs’ from ultra-secret projects.

Moreover, our careful penetration of such projects yielded the disturbing finding that deep-cover black project operatives are working closely with alleged civilian researchers, journalists and UFO glitterati. CIA and military intelligence operatives are working with civilian ‘think tank’ heads, alongside very wealthy business people who are eschatologists, and being advised by ‘civilian’ technologists and scientists – who are themselves proponents of bizarre religious belief systems involving the end of the world — and ETs….

Thus, the new ‘chosen ones’ have been assembled. They are planning your disclosure on the UFO/ET subject. They are owned by the money whores and power brokers doing the bidding of the secret entity which runs UFO projects to begin with. And it all looks like a civilian initiative. So innocent. So well-intended. So ‘scientific’. And by the way, the sky is falling courtesy of ET and we need your money and your souls to defend against it.

Do not be deceived. You need to be awake to the darker scenarios which some would like to thrust upon the world. And you need to know that there are alternatives. If a ‘disclosure’ is unleashed on the world which is xenophobic, militaristic and terrifying, know that it comes from the spinmeisters of secrecy – regardless of how respectable the person or group may appear to be.

And remember: Part of this disclosure plan involves the use of UFO look-alike devices made by humans in an attack on Earth or military assets of Earth. This would be a well-orchestrated use of advanced human technologies to hoax an ET attack – all for the purpose of disclosing the truth with the desired military-oriented spin. In such a scenario, most of humanity will be deceived into believing the threat from space has arrived – and that we must fight it at all costs. This is nothing more than long-term social security for the military-industrial complex. There must be people who can expose this fraud.

Let’s prove Obama Was Born In Hawaii So we Can Move Onto His British Birth.

Posted in Uncategorized on September 20, 2009 by naturalborncitizen

Let this post be fair warning… Leo Donofrio is now interested in the birth certificate… so that we can finally prove Obama was born in Hawaii and stop the never ending circus surrounding BIGFOOT – an official long form birth certificate for President Obama.

The nation faces a crucial legal question:

How can a person who admits to having been born a British citizen – governed at birth by British law – be a natural born citizen of the United States?

This is a very serious legal question. Obama’s father was never a US citizen and was never permanently domiciled in the US. The leading Supreme Court decision in Wong Kim Ark indicates that the native born son of an alien is not natural born. There is no conspiracy theory attached to this question. Let’s state it another way:

Can a person who is at birth a dual citizen be considered a natural born citizen for purposes of meeting the Constitution’s requirements to be POTUS?

That is in no way a conspiracy theory. The US State department web site – now run by Obama – tells us that dual citizens owe allegiance to both nations and that while on the soil of the foreign nation that nation has a greater claim to the person than the US. It is certainly not trivial for US citizens to ask whether dual citizenship at birth means a person is not a “natural born citizen” of the US.

But as long as the never ending search for Bigfoot continues to obscure the real legal question, the true issue here will not only be attached to the conspiracy theory, it will be ridiculed as well.

Because of the conundrum, this blog will now also be concerned with an investigation into the vital records of President Obama as well as an intense focus upon the activities of the Hawaii Department of Health and the Hawaii Office of Information Practices. I hope to one day put these officials under oath and cross-examine them thoroughly.

I have always believed that Obama was born in Hawaii and I expect this investigation will reveal that he was. Upon proving that he was born in Hawaii, we may uncover details which indicate that Obama and Hawaii government officials purposely used the birth certificate issue to distract the nation from his British birth problems. If a smokescreen can be made clear, the nation will better comprehend the Constitutional blasphemy inherent in the 2008 POTUS election and the current White House resident.

Should our investigation prove that he wasn’t born in Hawaii, I will be very surprised, but I am certainly open to that conclusion.

I have written this post as a preview to some very interesting research – documents and letters issued by the State of Hawaii – which have not been made public yet. I will be making those public very soon as they are the product of researchers I am working with. Stay tuned. It’s going to get interesting.

For example, I have a prejudice against many kinds of people. It doesn’t mean that I want to see them stripped of their freedom. And it certainly doesn’t mean that I want to see any harm come to them. I highly recommend it.

If you decide to view it, pls watch until the end as just b4 the end he discusses the eschatological aspect I spoke of earlier.

Some of the video he presents during his talk are eerily similar to what my husband and I recently witnessed up on Lake Powell.

And the video he has of the Phoenix Lights back in 1997 – phenomenal!

I was driving home from Bartlett Lake south to Chandler that night and witnessed something.

It was a very strange night.

I had started my journey home while it was still light. The reason I’d gone up there alone was because I was going through a lot emotionally at the time.

And I needed to sort things out.

The long and winding road from the lake is desolate. Not another soul around.

And then I “lost” it. It was like having an out-of-body experience except that I was awake and driving.

Something happened to me that I can’t explain.

I always thought it strange that it happened the same night as our famous Phoenix Lights.

One other thing. I’d love to know where Greer stands on the H1N1 vaccine.

So when the EMT asked me “what hospital”, I replied “Blodgett” out of sheer habit.
I arrived at 4 a.m and the place looked like they were getting ready to close. In fact, I couold not help but compare the looks on some faces to the looks one gets while being seated in a restaurant that closes in 5 minutes.
Going through the normal Q’s and A’s, it came up that we had just returned from a long drive having been in DC for the weekend. Doc In Charge, who will be known as DIC here to fore asked , “What were you doimg in DC”?
“Trying to save you (DIC) from Obamacare”, I responded.
DIC immediately contorted his face in a way I had never seen and said, “I want Obamacare. It would make MY LIFE SO MUCH EASIER”. (emphasis mine)
“Really”?, I responded, in total dead pan fashion.

Now we have the expected unimpenetrable silence, which is finaly broken by a few more q’s from a nurse, a bunch of stickers placed on my chest and a comment from DIC informimg me I have EITHER a dislocated or fractured jaw and I needed a cat scan or MRI.

Okay, it has now become very apparent to me the feeling of being mistreated is NOT my imagination when i meet and recieve care from the very compassionate, kind and patient gentleman who runs the MRI machine.I mean, no one should have to wait that long for anyone to remove 15 bobbie pins from their hair!
Once I finish there, I am wheeled back to DIC’s domain and his compliant, bored- outta- their -minds- sadistic cohorts, aka, RN’s. (okay, I admit I am a bit over dramatic there, but they were acting all bitchy to me)
For example; When the RN whose name I wish I could recall because it was so friggin weird, asked me where I wanted my IV put, I replied, “Not in my eye”.
Hubby laughed. Nurse Ratched did not.

Now, DIC saunters in to inform me (with his arms crossed, just in case any of you are interested in body language or maybe a little thing called Bedside Manner)that I have dislocated AND fractured my jaw and would most certainly need to have surgery.
I was not prepared for such a double diagnosis and spontaneously yelled out (in total Joe Wilson fashion), “FUCK”! Then I got a look from him, right down his nose at me and I said it again, louder. “FUCK!”
His response? “Well. it’s pretty obvious you heard me”.
I just stared at him in disgust, much like he did me.
I then asked for privacy to speak to my husband.

I was on my way to donate some money to the local home improvement center this morning.
(I like to do my part to stimulate the economy.)
I found myself behind a woman driving this little rice burner of a car bearing a bumper sticker that read,
    “We Did It ! – Obama/Biden.”
Well, as luck would have it, she pulled along side me at a red light about a half mile down the road.
I beeped my horn and gave her a big thumbs up.
She rolled down her window and I said, “I love your bumper sticker!’
She thanked me and I quickly added, “It’s good that you are taking responsibility for your mistake!”
She gave me the finger and drove off.

Also, FACTCHECK says they recieved the document ‘from the Obama campaign’. That seems very general. Here are the tough questions – Who – by name? Who by name did they give it back to? Who – by name – took the photos? When did they take the photos? Where did they take the photos? Who, by name was present when the photos were taken. Since this was such a critical issue other photos must exist – surely they did not get the perfect web ready shots on the first take. They would have to take test shots, verify lighting, verify flash, etc.

[Ed. Once the State of Hawaii got involved in this fiasco, they opened themselves up to scrutiny and now that they have, the focus switched from the COLB to Hawaii. Understand that in reality, it’s the State of Hawaii who has validated Obama’s eligibility not Factcheck.org. The factcheck fiasco was not going to stem the tide so they enlisted Hawaii officials to help them.

Court Clerk Confirms He Spoke With “Acquaintance” not Capt Rhodes on Faxing Letter

I have contacted the U.S. District Court in Columbus, Georgia and spoken with Ms. Terri and a Mr. Timothy Frost in the Clerks Office. I informed both individuals that after reviewing the Letter of Capt. Connie Rhodes filed Friday September 18, 2009 the signature on said letter appears to be “cut & pasted” onto the document.

Mr. Frost states “I spoke with an acquaintance of Capt. Rhodes on Friday before the document was faxed.” Mr. Frost stated that after speaking with his boss and the acquaintance assuring the Court an original would be sent after Capt. Rhodes arrives in Iraq, the court accepted the document. I asked “would that acquaintance would be a Mr. Joe Parton,” and Mr. Frost said he would not give “his” name, and that the Court has accepted the document as authentic. Mr. Frost also stated that “if the Court does not receive an original from Iraq then there may be a problem.”

I made it clear to Ms. Terri and Mr. Frost that I have no interest in this case other than verifying that the September 18, 2009 letter of Capt. Rhodes was authentic and was not filed in an effort to make Judge Land or the Court look bad. I believe Mr. Frost has confirmed for me that the letter was in fact prepared by the “acquaintance” and not Capt. Connie Rhodes, unless Mr. Frost wants to change his statement as to having spoken with “an acquaintance of Capt. Rhodes” to having spoken with Capt. Rhodes herself, since the last paragraph of the letter states:

“I am faxing this as was advised by Tim, who works in the District Clerk’s office. I will mail the original copy of this letter once I have arrived in Iraq.”

I have received an email address for Capt. Rhodes and will send her an email asking if she signed the letter.

No matter what you might think there is no escaping that AKA Obama is not practicing the virtue of full disclosure.

Obama is keeping the best available evidence secret. Let’s just add suppression of evidence to the other charges of election fraud, campaign finance violations and filing fraudulent documents in all 50 states.

The entire reason there is a professional field known as forensic document examination is that a great deal can be told from examination of the original document itself. Much, much less can be told by looking at a photocopy of a document and very little, if anything at all, can be told from looking at a digital image that purports to be an image of an original document. Too much opportunity for adulteration, no opportunity to examine the paper, the ink, any impressions made on the paper, etc. These online arguments discussing images (especially photographic images) are like people studying animals be examining scat.

Forensic document examiner Sandra Ramsey Lines,

    http://www.asqde.org/SRLines/SandraRLines.htm

a Former Federal Examiner with a long history of expert testimony in state and federal courts, has testified in an affidavit

    http://www.therightsideoflife.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/executedsandralinesdeclaration_1.pdf

    that states, in part:

After reviewing Dr. Polarik’s analysis, Sandra Lines says, “I can state with certainty that the COLB presented on the internet by the various groups, which include the “Daily Kos,” the Obama Campaign, “Factcheck.org” and others cannot be relied upon as genuine. Dr. Polarik raises issues concerning the COLB that I can affirm. Software such as Adobe Photoshop can produce complete images or alter images that appear to be genuine; therefore, any image offered on the internet cannot be relied upon as being a copy of the authentic document.” Sandra Ramsey Lines summary is also posted at U. S. Law Blog.

The U.S. District Court clerk spoke with the friend of CPT Rhodes who prepared and faxed the letter for her. The clerk and Judge Land were convinced they were speaking with someon who was representing Connie Rhodes. They’re expecting an original, signed letter from CPT Rhodes herself when she arrives in Iraq. Until then, they’ve accepted the facsimilie as authentic and entered it into the court records.

I suspect we’ll find out today that the fax activity report for 9/18 shows a fax sent around 13:58. What’s currently floating around the Internet is apparently the fax activity report from 9/19.

    Health reformers targeting ‘enemies’

The plan for a series of grass-roots demonstrations Tuesday to promote President Obama’s health care agenda calls for tightly scripted events and an “escalation” of efforts against “enemies” of reform.

Organizers insist there is no comparison to rowdy summer town hall meetings and recent “tea party” protests that have challenged White House policies.

But Health Care for America Now (HCAN), which is backed by a coalition of labor unions and liberal groups including ACORN and MoveOn.org, organized the protests to target insurance companies and drafted the plan, which describes the demonstrations as part of its “insurance enemies project.”

The document, a copy of which was obtained by The Washington Times, details specific talking points, tactics, props and strategies to stage the protests. It lists goals that include action that “mobilizes our base by animating existing anger about private insurers.”

    http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-3779544,00.html

Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon told Reuters that Israel has not given up the option of a military response to Tehran’s nuclear program. He said a comment by President Shimon Peres, as reported on Sunday by Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, was no guarantee there would be no Israeli strike on Iran.

Ayalon replied: “It is certainly not a guarantee. I don’t think that, with all due respect, the Russian president is authorized to speak for Israel and certainly we have not taken any option off the table.”

Germany may balk at Iran sanctions without full EU backing – report

    http://televisionwashington.com/floater_article1.aspx?lang=en&t=2&id=14167

Germany may not support tougher sanctions against Iran over its nuclear program, if such measures do not have the backing of the entire European Union, Time magazine reported on Monday.

European and American sources told Time that such a scenario could dramatically complicate US-led efforts to curb Tehran’s nuclear ambitions.

While Russia and China have been reluctant to support harsher sanctions against Tehran, the potential loss of Berlin’s support could render any new sanctions largely symbolic, the weekly reported.

Britain and France have previously been willing to adopt new sanctions without the 27-nation bloc’s full backing, while Germany has resisted.

Times noted that the EU makes decisions on a consensus basis, giving any one of its 27 members a veto.

And some of those member-states are domestically constrained from imposing sanctions that have not been authorized by United Nations resolutions, a senior European diplomat pointed out.

Therefore, if Russia and China – both veto-wielding members of the UN Security Council – oppose new sanctions, it could actually prevent Germany from signing on.

Iran, under three rounds of United Nations sanctions for refusing to suspend its uranium enrichment program, strongly rejects Western charges that it is seeking a nuclear bomb.

The Death Spiral of the Islamic Republic III

    Posted By Michael Ledeen

    http://pajamasmedia.com/michaelledeen/2009/09/21/the-death-spiral-of-the-islamic-republic-iii/

These little stories illustrate a great event, indeed a world-changing event: the death of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Khamenei and Ahmadinejad, and the rest of the evil empire in Tehran, are all dead men walking. We don’t know the schedule for the funeral yet, but Iranians know it’s on the agenda. One will get you ten at my betting window that, aside from a very thin veneer of top officials (for whom there is no hope, for they will fulfill the demand of the nightly rooftop chants), anyone who is anyone in Iran today is trying to make a deal with Mousavi and Karroubi. They are all whispering that their hearts are green, and always were green.

Khamenei & Co. certainly know this, as they know they are being betrayed by some very high-ranking people. And the exodus is under way; by the end of the week we will see some important representatives of the Islamic Republic resign their posts, for they do not wish to be associated with it any longer.

Look at what didn’t happen in the streets last Friday. Not a shot was fired at the millions of demonstrators in Tehran. There are YouTubes of police fraternizing with the Greens. There are stories of Revolutionary Guardsmen helping the demonstrators, and even the Basij didn’t dare to attack or arrest, with a handful of exceptions (one of which is notable: in Tabriz, if I remember correctly, they started to round up some people, and the crowd turned on them, freed the would-be victims, and beat the Basijis to death).

And look at what else didn’t happen: nobody tried to arrest Mousavi or Karroubi. Somebody tried to stab Khatami in the street, but it was thwarted, and Karroubi has been told to show up at a Revolutionary Tribunal to respond to charges of spreading false claims of rape and murder in the prisons. But this subpoena, which previously terrified the recipient, is no longer threatening. Karroubi has proclaimed it is good news, for it will give him the opportunity to present the evidence, which is iron-clad, and can no longer be destroyed (copies of documents, audios and videos are now in the hands of Green supporters in Europe and the United States).

So we have a regime of zombies in Tehran, but they can still do a lot of damage, to Iranians and to us. Early last week Khamenei summoned Afghan terrorist chieftain Gulbadin Hekhmatiar to Tehran, and told him to step up attacks against American and other Allied forces. Other Iranian-supported terrorist groups have received similar instructions.

Under the circumstances, you’d think that your government would be talking to the Greens. But you’d be wrong. Perhaps Hillary Clinton thought she was telling the truth when she claimed, a few days after the insurrection of June 12th, that “behind the scenes” we were helping the Iranian opposition. If so, she shouldn’t have said anything about it, but I don’t think she was well informed. There are no contacts between the American Government and the leaders of the opposition. One should not expect the new government to look kindly upon a President Obama who publicly sweet-talked the Tehran butchers, and all but begged Khamenei for a few minutes of his precious time. The same applies to the Europeans, all of whom scrambled for oil and other commercial contracts, and none of whom talked to the Green leaders.

As so often, Martin Luther King Jr. summed it up perfectly: “In the end we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends.”

  246. rosettasister Says:

(I don’t know if I agree entirely with this title. If we don’t stop the govt-run healthcare power grab and stop unsustainable deficits, we won’t be able to afford prosecuting any war properly for the foreseeable future. Some hard-core lefties would be very happy with that prospect.)

The War Matters Most, Mr. President. There Isn’t Even A Distant Second Priority

    http://hughhewitt.townhall.com/blog/g/1b4c7aeb-9a9e-4d13-a0cf-92cfa545d2a0

The slow collapse of his domestic agenda has got to be deeply frustrating given the president’s own high regard for his own abilities, but he should recognize that, even as George Bush’s ambition to be the “education president” was upended by the realities of the war, so too does his agenda have to yield to the nature of the threat to the country from abroad -a threat we ought to have been reminded of all too clearly these past few days.

    http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/2009/09/20/2009-09-20_najibullah_zazi_admitted_receiving_weapons_and_explosives_training_from_alqaeda_.html

The threat is real and it isn’t going to be wished away. Asked whether the FBI had grabbed all the suspects in the latest terror plot, a senior counterterror official responded: “They’re still looking…nobody knows the answer for sure.”

If the president abandons Afghanistan or Iraq, he will be giving license to the forces behind 9/11 –and every other plot up to and including this latest one– to reform, regroup and resume the largely unimpeded export of more plots.

Give up the FDR dream, Mr. President, and start acting like Truman. It is a war, and it won’t go away by your pretending that it can be ignored or downgraded.

    Did Romney flip-flop on TARP?

    http://blogs.reuters.com/james-pethokoukis/2009/09/21/did-romney-flip-flop-on-tarp/

OK, here is what the front runner (at least according to the online betting markets) for the 2012 GOP nomination said at the Value Voters summit over the weekend:

“When government is trying to take over health care, buying car companies, bailing out banks, and giving half the White House staff the title of czar – we have every good reason to be alarmed and to speak our mind!”

Of course, the cynical explanation is that Romney now realizes that among many conservative GOPers, endorsement of TARP is almost a disqualifier for the 2012 nomination.

So he is trying to muddy his support a bit.

Probably the best way to approach it is to say that while TARP was better than doing nothing, there were better alternatives — asset auctions, debt swaps — that should have been planned for after Bear Stearns and executed.

In any event, his criticism of TARP is fairly mild here — though it certainly does raise the issue of serial flip-floppery.

Unknown gunmen assassinated 30 Mahdi Army commanders in the Syrian capital Damascus.

The killings, made in the past few weeks, were all made “quietly, inside the victims apartments”, said an unnamed source in the Sadr movement.

The source added that among those assassinated was Laith al-Ka’bi, who commanded the Mahdi Army in the Palestine Street neighborhood in eastern Baghdad.

The report adds that large numbers of Mahdi Army operatives left to Iran out of fear the assassinations wave could expand to target them.

(Very curious! Whoever is orchestrating this scary enough for these operatives to flee to Iran.)

Several people were killed as gunship helicopters bombed Taliban positions in northwest Pakistan’s South Waziristan tribal agency Monday, a local TV channel reported.

Gunship helicopters bombed Makin area of South Waziristan, the stronghold of the banned group Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). Locals said that several were killed during the strike, the private TV DAWN News reported.

Security forces launched operations after an overnight rocket fire by the Taliban at an army port at Razmak area of the tribal region.

Last month, Baitullah Mehsud, chief of the TTP, was killed in a United States drone missile strike in South Waziristan.

Snowe: Obama Willing to Compromise on Health Care Reform

  254. j.b. Says:

Now, the rest of the story. (much to Ten’s chagrin, I’m sure)

So I have established that there has been a total breakdown in communication with DIC and Co. I had decided to address the possibilities of getting transferred to another hospital where I felt the care would be much more suitable to me and after getting some confirmation from Nurse Betty, that DIC was in fact being a prick, she also encouraged me to hang in there, that the next shift would be arriving soon.

    Fresh caregivers, how enticing.

Well, I pondered that notion and decided to give DIC one more chance to redeem himself. FAILURE! FAILURE! FAILURE!
After being denied “permission” to transfer to the other hospital, I then asked, “What do I have to do to get kicked out of here”?
“I can’t kick you out of here. It’s against hospital rules”. he said
    “Illegal?” I asked
“Yes, not gonna happen”. Just where do you wnt to go, anyway?”
(this, just after telling me he has already called DR. Whomever, he’s the best. he’ the one I would want, etc.)
SO, I answered, “I wanna go to Butterworth”……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….With arms still crossed, pacing a bit, he stopped and looked at me and said,”Well, I’m in charge of the surgical
    staff there, too”.
So, of course. now I begin to cry. DIC leaves. And as the nurse tries to comfort me, a completely, crazylooking, greasy, hobbling, Coke bottle bottom -glasses- wearing- lab tech comes in to draw my blood.

It is fair to say that blood might just about to be drawn and IT ain’t gonna be mine! Do you realize the significance of this? They are preparing me for surgery that I have not even agreed to have!
I throw him out and ask for a phone book. I am so beside myself that I am about to call my neighbor, who retired last August as MY doctor (whom I have not replaced, shame on me)after 25 years and because our boys are best friends, I used to know his home phone number by heart. Now? Not so much.
The reason I tell you this, is, I was a mess. Complete, no holds barred, mess. I managed to leave a message-he called back, I apologized and assured him I was fine…….and at this point, my decision had been made to meet the surgeon, if that went well, then we were “a go”.
    Finally.
In walks Doctor Everything I Need Just About Now. Handsome as the day is long to boot. He shook my hand, told me he talked to DIC, gave me a knowing wink and a nod. And then it hit me, his hair was perfect.
That’s when I knew I was in good hands and would be fine.

(well, until I got out of surgery/recovery and noticed a pair of wire cutters TAPED to my chest and an undeniable ,overall feeling of claustrophobia like never before)

    Ta Ta~ naptime.:)

The Risks for Dems Going It Alone on Health Care

    http://www.time.com/time/politics/article/0,8599,1925094,00.html

But if Democrats end up passing this major piece of legislation essentially on their own, there’s no guarantee that it will spare them pain.

On the contrary, Republicans are betting that whatever does get passed exclusively by their opponents will come back to bite the Democrats in both 2010 and 2012.

Even while some pundits say the GOP will end up looking obstructionist, Republicans are quick to point out that

the bulk of the bill — the exchange, which will help small businesses and the 47 million people who are uninsured buy affordable insurance, along with subsidies to help those who can’t afford it and new regulations of insurers’ practices — wouldn’t go into effect until 2013

(this is partly because of the complexity of setting up such a monumental enterprise and partly to help lessen the 10-year cost of the bill).

Republicans daydream that Dems could be seen as passing a giant, expensive boondoggle with nothing to show for it.

“People are already worried at the rate of spending going on,” says Senator John Cornyn, a Texas Republican who heads the National Republican Senatorial Committee, which helps get Republican candidates elected to the Senate.

“They see Democrats rush this thing through, strong-arming their way through, and that will make folks even more nervous.”

    ***

Those same voters are what kept Republicans Senators Mike Enzi and Chuck Grassley at the bargaining table long after all expectations had died that they would ever sign on to a deal:

as much as they would be happy to kill health-care reform, Republicans want to make the case that they gave bipartisanship their all.

In fact, both cited “partisan deadlines” as reasons that they couldn’t vote for the bill.

The Republicans need to avoid the perception of being the Party of No, and it’s not clear that they are succeeding.

A Bloomberg survey this month found that a majority of people were disapproving of “the Republican scare tactics” that were used over the summer:

63% said death panels weren’t legit,

59% said they didn’t believe health care would be rationed, and

52% said they didn’t believe the oft-repeated GOP line that the Dems are putting the nation on a path to socialized medicine.

And a Sept. 11-13 USA Today/Gallup poll found that

60% believe Obama is reaching out across the aisle, while

only 33% say Republicans are reciprocating.

(This polling doesn’t seem accurate to me. I really don’t see how you can answer these questions intelligently until we know if a public “option” will be in final bill, which I highly doubt.)

(BTW This article is so slanted. This is what passes for journalism today.)

Astroturfing the NEA: Winner & Associates in on the Scheme? (UPDATED)

Color me unsurprised to find out that an employee of Winner and Associates — who you’ll recall we revealed were behind the astroturfing campaign to discredit Sarah Palin — was in on the National Endowment for the Arts phone call outlining how the Obama Administration would use that government organization to push its agenda.

After we uncovered the link between Winner and Associates, David Axelrod, and the smear campaign against Sarah Palin designed to look as though it was coming from the “grass roots” we begged — literally begged! — the MSM to look into whether the large campaign consulting firm was subcontracted by David Axelrod for work on the Obama campaign. As I noted at the time, I’m just a blogger and don’t really have the resources necessary to conduct a thorough investigation.

As Ace notes here, once Ethan Winner confessed that he was behind the video, the MSM concluded that there was nothing more to investigate. This despite the fact that I showed that at least two other Winner and Associate employees — a subdivision of the largest advertising agency in the world — participated in the astroturfing campaign during normal business hours.

Three employees, one of them the President of the subdivision and another a VP, claimed they were doing this on their own time — which we showed could not have been the case — and on their own dime. On their own dime? Maybe, but it still seems unlikely.

And now we have another Winner and Associates guy at the NEA conference call? He’s also listed as one of the founders of Generation Obama.

Are you going to now tell me that his relationship with Generation Obama is purely on a volunteer basis? And that his involvement with what appears to be a move to make the NEA push Obama’s agenda is being done pro-bono?

Winner and Associates: the largest PR firm in California, but all their major work is done for free!

    Something. Doesn’t. Add. Up.

    More over at Ace’s.

jrin & grammy, my thoughts and prayers are with your moms as well. My sweet 74 year old dad had a light stroke last summer and did not tell me about it until about a month ago. I thought he was grieving over my younger brother who is in prison as we speak. I knew he was not and had not been acting quite normal for awhile but this was confirmed through his doctor. My dad who had retired from pipeline construction about 10 years ago, had decided to open a used car lot. I guess he felt he needed somthing to keep him busy and was hoping that this business might be something that my little brother might be interested in if the pipeline construction work died out. My point is, my dad has always had a soft spot for this brother and has babied him his whole life. My brother has had a long history of drug usage and has thus far lost everything he has ever worked for including his wife and children. He has made enormous amounts of money over the years but has nothing to show for his efforts. My dad has enabled him for so long that it literally took years for him to hit the bottom. But he finally hit the bottom last year. My brother went off to work in Indiana as a welder on a constuction job and got caught cooking meth in a hotel room where his girlfriend and her 16 year old son were staying. Needless to say, he was in major trouble. My sweet dad has blamed himself over and over for my little brother’s problems but my brother has also used his problems to get everything he has ever wanted from my dad. I have watched my dad’s health deteriorate before my very eyes. All we can do is try to help them and love them as much as we can while they are with us.

This just happened to me. I’m posting the following in case the same happens to you.

Sorry if you received an email from me inadvertently.

My son got one, something about http://www.bing.com/

Email sent from my hotmail account, but not by me!

Change your account information. Changing your password is not enough. You must also change your secret questions and it is recommended that you also change other information. Maybe change your house phone to your cell phone or your house address to your mother’s address. Not every account warrants the same change, but your critical ones do. Put up as many barriers to social engineering phishes as possible.

you’re never alone at rose’s cynkaa.

I was thinking we need something more than email. Maybe a text group.

    There’s free services. like:

    ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Lexi, I am a little out of touch in some areas of technology. I do a little texting but not all that much. Am willing to do what ever.

    Hopefully this need won’t arise.

But I know you can set up a p.o. box so when you email the p.o. box everyone who is a member receives the email.

And when you reply everyone receives reply.

(I learned that the hard way!)

    Kinda like we do now.

    ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Rose, I am not sure about how to do the po box thingy. YOu might have to walk me through sometime. TIA 🙂

Gosh I hope this doesn’t keep happening.

If it does, I’ll guess I’ll have to close that account.

I’ve never made a list of email addresses, maybe I should and save for future reference.

If we don’t have internet, well, we don’t have internet. Disconnected. As in your lose your phone service during a storm…no DSL, no phone, no internet. Or someone steals your WildBlue dish. Or the cable company goes tits up. It’s not a matter of just cherry-picking some blogs and shutting them down. I have NO DOUBT all the tools are in place to shut down all civilian access to the internet.
I’ve written about this is the past. NO government regulated forms of communication will be secure. Not phones, not USPS, not ham radio.
