The RosettaSister Gang of Liberty Lovers – Part Deux

Purple Mountain Majesty

I worked for the Feds in DC for 25 years and I’m soooooo happy I am out of that rat race.  (The lady in red was enjoying her retirement party.)  I have been with my sweetheart Larry for 19 years (my first husband died at the age of 33 (I was 26 and my son was 3).  My son is now 31 (oh my goodness how time flies).  I have two step daughters and of course my grandson Ryan.  Love to play golf –broke a bone in my foot last August playing golf and then almost broke my neck learning to ride around on this little scooter.

Enjoy feeding the critters (geese, birds, foxes, raccoons, groundhogs, etc).  The geese are gone now until October.  We had a bumper crop of goslings this year – 44 of them.  We live on almost 7 acres on a river in a beautiful area of Virginia and I ride my electric pony every day (a golf cart) to feed the critters.

Kitty, Critters and Garden Tour 411

We have bald eagles and in the fall and winter the river is full of geese and several types of ducks.  There are three cats too – Puff (Stuff her litter mate is gone), Snooker and Marmalade.

Love flowers too and working outside (unless its too hot)!  This time of year I make at least 8 cups of hummingbird food a day for 2-3 dozen hummers – they’re fun to watch.  I enjoy painting (watercolors), writing poetry and have started a number of books – would like to finish at least one of them!

Never been politically active or involved until this past election cycle.  In fact I was at a tea party meeting this evening and we are excited about our trip to DC on 9/12.  I pray for our country and remain hopeful that we can stop this madness.   I have a good sense of humor (which comes in real handy these days).    And I really enjoy Rose and the Gang and appreciate all of the great input!

Oh and I am 55 today – August 21st.

Happy Birthday, grammy!

goferit xmas

I spent almost 25 years in business being on the back end of a camera.
When that industry began to fall apart, I jumped off and have spent
the last three years back in school.

This time on the other end of an x ray unit. so, as Rose's gang can
imagine, I don't want to be back the frying pan with the gov't giving
us our healthcare. If it does, I know that this industry will be in a
heap of hurt in terms of new jobs. Just finished with school these
past two weeks, and go on tuesday to take registry boards, so I can
begin to practice.
So I post as often as I can, read what your gang has to say everyday,
and relish being a part of the great group of patriots who have found
their way here!
I've been married to a beautiful woman for over twenty years, and have
two teenage sons, who besides being teenagers are great kids. Oh, and
we also have a cute pooch named Sandy.

Voight: Is Obama creating a civil war in America?
    Inside the Beltway column
By Jennifer Harper INSIDE THE BELTWAY (Contact)

A Hollywood conservative has headed East. It’s “Freedom Concert” time for Jon Voight. The Academy Award winner will join Sean Hannity in Cincinnati and Atlanta this weekend to honor fallen soldiers and present college scholarships to surviving children. Mr. Voight — a warrior himself in many ways — has been cogitating about the state of America, meanwhile.

“There’s a real question at stake now. Is President Obama creating a civil war in our own country?” Mr. Voight tells Inside the Beltway.

“We are witnessing a slow, steady takeover of our true freedoms. We are becoming a socialist nation, and whoever can’t see this is probably hoping it isn’t true. If we permit Mr. Obama to take over all our industries, if we permit him to raise our taxes to support unconstitutional causes, then we will be in default. This great America will become a paralyzed nation.”

    Be outraged, Mr. Voight advises.

“Do not let the Obama administration fool you with all their cunning Alinsky methods. And if you don’t know what that method is, I implore you to get the book ‘Rules for Radicals,’ by Saul Alinsky . Mr. Obama is very well trained in these methods,” he continues, citing a television campaign critical of the Republican Party and contentious town-hall meetings about health care reform.

“The real truth is that the Obama administration is professional at bullying, as we have witnessed with ACORN at work during the presidential campaign. It seems to me they are sending down their bullies to create fist fights among average American citizens who don’t want a government-run health care plan forced upon them,” Mr. Voight says. “So I ask again. Is President Obama creating a civil war in our own country?”

  18. goferit Says:

Happy Birthday Grammy, you share the date with my youngest sister!

Thanks for your thoughts JR and Troy. I mean it!

Rad tech is fundamentally very similar to my previous career, but once I had it in my thick head to go for it, LOL, there was no turning back. Just finished with the schoolin and the clinical aspect, (3 years straight). And am SO ready to work again!!.
Keep those pics coming, there’s strength in numbers. We do make a great GANG!

    Thanks Rose!

Has DC ever been struck by any kind of natural disaster?…Earthquake, hurriane, torando???….Maybe we could try throwing some chicken bones on the floor and conjure up a giant sink hole to swallow that giant stink hole….I’m affraid that the Earth would reject it and barf it right back up….Something has got to give!!!

  22. Troy Says:

    Wee Weed

Look it is even getting tough for a God Inspired genius to keep up with juvenile Bearick Obama jr. in his 10 year old toe jam natterings about “wee weed washingtonians”.

It seems that Obama 486 was quoting that children’s nursery rhyme. Apparently Reggie Love and hisself don’t just recline and floss their teeth while watching ESPN, but for sport they play a little game of “Little Pigs” on each other’s toes in a 69 position of foot fetishness.

This lil piggy went to Washington
    This lil piggy stayed home
This lil piggy had kobe beef
    This lil piggy had none
and this lil piggy went weee weeee weeee weee
    all the way home.

Apparently at this point both Reggie and Barry giggle, tickle each other’s feet, call up Brian Willimas for a roll over…….and well it turns into Triple XXX Obama then.

But I do find it interesting in Bearick Obama in Wee Weed just called Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Barney Frank and every Democrat in Congress, PIGS, PORKERS, El PORKO, PIGLETS, HOGS and SWINE AT THE OBAMA TROUGH.
Who when they root out money in Washington Obama is buying them with, they go squealing home in which Mr. Obama finds degrading and swill enough to mock them.

Now personally, if the leader of my party called me a gutless pig who was eating my slop and squealing in delight about it while running home, even if Reggie Love was pulling my toes, I just know I would be not be pleased at this insult.
Of course, maybe Nancy Pelosi is such a female dog and with Obama jacking off on her own leg so often like all Democrats he gets the urge to in media and Congress, they might be howling with laughter in thinking he wasn’t talking about the pigs they are, because in metaphor they are his biotches.

I think George Orwell should of in greatest penned a novel about this beyond Animal Farm in knowing Obama was coming.
It could have been something like Animal Sex, Obama Beasty, Lord of the Pork or…..well that is enough as this beasty sex mixed with food is like watching George Castanza on Seinfeld in bed eating sandwiches, watching television and having sex all at the same time.

One wonders what kind of mustard Obama puts on his balls for a stinging left field drive to wow the Democrats in the stands.

    I digress.

It is though difficult in comprehending a 10 year old as adults left that limited foray of juvenile 486 processing long ago behind. I keep telling people that Obama’s brain is fused at childhood and that is where he keeps going back to in stress from swinging on swings with Hillary to his little piggies comment.

Oh well, Peggy Noonan perhaps should dust off her sneakers for a game of Obama hide and seek as that seems to be how to get to the heart of Obama in put it in child terms and the kid just understands immediately.

I still think though Bearick Obama has crap for brains…………..still wondering how Democrats are going to react when they figure out Obama just called them pigs.

Hmmm wasn’t there another socialist in Germany around 1939 who liked using pig terms to describe others……..oh yeah ‘der swine Juden”, that old fascist hisself, Dolf Hitler and brownshirt comrades.
Amazing how things just keep coming around and around again.

Where were you when they named Christians terrorists? Why I was on the Charlie Rose show.

Where were you when they named Veterans terrorists? Why I was on Tavis Smiley.

Where were you when they named Birthers terrorists? Why I was on Chris Matthews.

Where are you going to be Democrats when NeoProg Obama follows up Nancy Pelosi and Nipple Hoyer’s comments you are unAmerican?

Gee and now Obama is terming Congress full of swine. The next step in dictators is to get rid of the animals as they have been termed not human.

Keystroke Loggers Installed In New Laptop Computers ( PLEASE READ VERY IMPORTANT INFO)
Posted on August 21st, 2009 by Lynn Dartez

Government And Computer Manufacturers Are Caught Installing Hard-Wired Keystroke Loggers Into All New Laptop Computers. Device captures everything you type and sends it via your ethernet card to the Dept. of Homeland Security without your knowledge, consent or a search warrant – every time you log on to the internet!
My computer is “old” like me 🙂 I just increased my RAM so it is pretty fast for one that is 8 years old. I dread the day I have to get a new one – so my only option will be to have my son build me one from scratch.

    Dear Mrs. xxxxxxx,

Thank you for sharing your perspective with us regarding our decision not to advertise during the Glenn Beck show. Like many other advertisers, we work through a media buyer to purchase time on broadcast stations during periods when our targeted demographic is likely to be watching. Our advertisements are never intended to support or endorse a particular program, and we do not determine our media purchases based on interest groups or political agendas.

Regarding this decision, we want to be clear that ConAgra Foods is firmly committed to diversity. That commitment is not related in any way to a political or special interest group agenda-our commitment to diversity is core to our company’s values. In addition, our advertising objectives-including reaching our targeted demographic-can be accomplished without the use of purchased air time during the Glenn Beck show.

Seems like she’s saying ConAgra doesn’t need consumers from the Beck audience??? Losing them won’t hurt a bit???
