We’ve got to get ourselves back to the garden

fall of lucifer

“The Fall of Lucifer” by Athena Leonti

“Lady of the Island”

Holding you close undisturbed before a fire
The pressure in my chest when you breathe in my ear
We both knew this would happen when you first appeared
My lady of the island

The brownness of your body in the fireglow
Except the places where the sun refused to go
Our bodies were a perfect fit in afterglow we lay
My lady of the island

Letting myself wander through the world inside your eyes
You know I’d like to stay here until every tear runs dry
Do, do, do, do, do, do, do …
My lady of the island

Wrapped around each other in the peeping sun
Beams of sunshine light the stage the red light’s on
I never want to finish what I’ve just begun with you
My lady of the island

“Thank you, we needed that. This is the second time we’ve ever played in front of people, man. We’re scared shitless.” Stephen Stills at Woodstock

    Southern Cross
(Words & music by Stephen Stills, Richard Curtis and Michael Curtis)

Got out of town on a boat goin’ to Southern islands.
Sailing a reach before a followin’ sea.

She was makin’ for the trades on the outside,
And the downhill run to Papeete.

Off the wind on this heading lie the Marquesas.
We got eighty feet of’a waterline.
    Nicely making way.

In a noisy bar in Avalon I tried to call you.
But on a midnight watch I realized
    Why twice you ran away.

Think about how many times I have fallen
Spirits are using me larger voices callin’.
What heaven brought you and me cannot be forgotten.

I have been around the world,
    Lookin’ for that woman/girl,
    Who knows love can endure.
    And you know it will.

When you see the Southern Cross for the first time
You understand now why you came this way.
‘Cause the truth you might be runnin’ from is so small.
But it’s as big as the promise – The promise of a comin’ day.

So I’m sailing for tomorrow – My dreams are a dyin’.
And my love is an anchor tied to you – Tied with a silver chain.

I have my ship and all her flags are a flyin’
She is all that I have left – And music is her name.

Think about how many times I have fallen
Spirits are using me larger voices callin’.
What heaven brought you and me cannot be forgotten.

I have been around the world,
    lookin’ for that woman/girl
    Who knows love can endure.
    And you know it will.
    And you know it will.

So we cheated and we lied and we tested.
And we never failed to fail; it was the easiest thing to do.
    You will survive being bested.
Somebody fine will come along make me forget about loving you
    in the Southern Cross.

  18. Troy Says:

I have given it some thought and I know how to solve many of the problems with electing a President….As we all know the the entire process of electing a prez is completely and utterly corrurpted….Anything short of a hand casted paper vote and a hand counted result is no vote at all….I have absolutely no way of knowing if my electronic vote counted or if it was cast for the intended candidate….Another huge problem is not having anyone to vote for….Most people don’t really care for EITHER candidate and vote for what they feel is the lesser of two evils….What the hell kind of vote is that????…..It’s a pathetic one and is the kind of vote that I cast in the previous election…..Others are disgusted and refuse to vote at all….As you noticed, above, I put the word “EITHER” in capital letters…..That is one of the other huge problems in only having two choices….I know, I know there are other parties with other candidates, but they have been marginalized by the DC machine and have absolutely no chance at success…..So if you vote for one of these candidates then you have basically wasted a vote that could have been cast for one of the lesser of two evils…..We are stuck in a quagmire!!!!….The country has been highjacked by the current two party system and let’s face it, they are the same.

    Here is an idea:
ALL parties should be required to run at least three candidates and an agreed upon amount of campaign dollars should be available to all candidates that cannot be exceeded, with violators subject to a mandatory prison term….All candidates should be furnished with equal television and radio air time, free of charge, once again not to be exceeded…..No candidate may recieve edorsements from ANY fellow member who is a political office holder within their party….Vialators (endorsers) should be subject to outrageous fines and automatic forfeiture of their elected seat….This should also apply to ANY TV or radio personality or network, with stiff fines and or imprisonment….Let the ill informed sheeple make up their own minds, instead of having their choice spoon fed to them….This will force a level playing field and enable the “voter” to actually listen to what these candidates have to say and cast a vote that they might even be satisfied with….It’s a start.

Anyone else have any ideas?….Toss’em in!!!!

I remember when Ray Charles died.

My son and his girlfriend, both musicians, just happened to be home from school.

I put this album on the turntable.

They sat on the love seat in the living room, kinda leaning into one another, comforting each other. Listening. They were very upset.

I believe Michael Jackson’s death will have the same effect on people. It already has.

  27. Fernley Girl Says:

Yep, but I’m at the point now where I don’t believe it’s fixable any more. The concentration of power and the corruptness of the elites in DC is too pervasive. I don’t think anyone there is of good character or good intent.
And I don’t know how we throw the bums out. And, they certainly won’t vote for anything that would threaten their power and money…..think Harry Reid. How does a “public servant” become a millionaire? Sweetheart real estate deals……….the same corrupt dealings as insider trading. But he never gets prosecuted.

Troy – your ideas ALWAYS make sense!

I also believe the primaries should be on one day across the country. Not for weeks. Not for months.

Think about it. The Dems won’t have a primary (if there are ever elections again), so all those obots can switch their affiliation to vote in a primary and select their favorite loser (i.e: McCain) that Repubs have to hold their nose before voting for.

If it’s done on one day across the nation, you can prevent the fixing of elections, and think of the money it would save.

Not to mention all those months of annoying commercials and ads and telemarketing calls.

    Gee, I can hardly wait.

    Troy, ideas
It will take a miracle to reestablish a government for and by the people. It will be a bigger miracle than it took for our founding fathers to experience unity sufficient to produce the Declaration and the Constitution. So many vital pieces are missing:
    1) positions have become a function of being profitable instead of being positions of honor…resulting from the respect of the people. Payment must be returned to a sustenance level and lobbying group/special interest must be outlawed from financing any campaign directly and indirectly.
    2) God must be respected as the creator and source of rights under the natural law.
    3) All usurpation of the Constitution must be remedied including abolishing the federal reserve and the unconstitutional income tax,
    4) People must be educated of the natural law and sovereignty, including the right and power of jurors.
    5) The power of the common law (citizens) grand jury must be enforced.
    6) The only way any of the above will happen and REMAIN is if the constitutional well-regulated state militia system is revitalized and made mandatory for each state. In the absence of the constitutional well-regulated militia, no rule will hold the false-god government in check.

These elements will force the rise of statesmen and provide the vehicle for the limited federal government to be held accountable.

Bilderberg 2009 Intel Already Proving Accurate
    by DefendUSx June 25, 2009 15:25

    James Corbett
    The Corbett Report
    Thursday, June 25, 2009

Observers of the annual elitist confab known as Bilderberg have long known that plans discussed at the conference quickly become reality. In 2002, Bilderberg researcher Jim Tucker correctly predicted that the Iraq war would start in March 2003 (not late 2002, as many were predicting at the time). In 2006, Daniel Estulin correctly forecast the popping of the housing bubble and subsequent economic crash, a possibility that most talking heads in the corporate media were laughing at at the time. In 2008, Tucker forecast a dramatic drop in oil prices while most analysts were fretting about the possibility of $200 a barrel oil. Tucker and Estulin have proven so stunningly accurate in their predictions not because they have a crystal ball, but because they have sources inside the Bilderberg Group and other organizations where financial oligarchs and their political puppets make decisions about our geopolitical future.

2009 is not even half over, but it seems the forecasts made by both Estulin and Tucker based on their 2009 Bilderberg sources are already proving to be accurate. In a phone interview conducted as this year’s conference was getting underway in Greece, Daniel Estulin warned The Corbett Report that the powers that be were preparing to run up the stock market one final time in order to draw the masses back into investing before crashing the market. Now, a worrying new report suggests that this is precisely the case as corporate executives start ditching their stocks at a rate not seen in years. Watch an excerpt from the interview in the video player below:

    Daniel Estulin on Bilderberg 2009

The Bloomberg report suggests that the market—currently enjoying one of the greatest rallies in decades as stocks continue to rise from last year’s post-crash nadir—is about to have the rug pulled out from under it, a fact that corporate executives in the know are taking to heart as they scramble to get rid of their worthless stocks before the general public realize what’s going on. Add to this the stunning news that U.S. Embassies around the globe have been instructed to prepare for a bank holiday in September and growing opposition to the Obama Administration’s stunning proposal to give the private Federal Reserve sweeping new dictatorial powers over the entire U.S. economy and there is little doubt that an economic collapse the likes of which Estulin discussed is becoming more likely by the day.

The Last Time I Saw Michael Jackson…
Posted by David Schmader on Thu, Jun 25, 2009 at 8:26 PM

….was also the first time I saw Michael Jackson. It was four years ago, outside the Santa Maria courthouse, where Jackson was on trial for child molestation, and I was an undercover reporter hanging out with die-hard Michael Jackson fans who’d travelled from all over the world to be near their beloved angel during his darkest hour.

I spent a week there and wrote about it: “Among the Faithful.”

The four of us take seats around the conference room table, and June turns immediately serious, “The first thing you need to know is that when you talk about Michael Jackson, you should assume that you are under surveillance, because you are.” The Dutch couple nods gravely. “I’ve been speaking the truth about Michael for five years,” June continues. “I’ve been videotaped in my bedroom, in the shower…” At this point, June jerks her head toward the ceiling: “We know you’re there!” she bellows at the hidden camera she imagines in the corner. Wow, I thought, she’s crazier than I ever dreamed! Then I realized she was telling the truth, even if she didn’t know it: She was under surveillance. But it was the man in the Michael Jackson T-shirt sitting across the table from her, and not some hidden camera, that was doing the surveying.
Some friends have said, “Well, he’s kinda been dead for years…” and yes, but NOW HE’S DEAD, and any latent dreams of Michael Jackson executing some miraculous third-act comeback (in my dreams, this always involved Rick Rubin, ala Johnny Cash) die with him.

The period has been placed at the end of the sentence. His art will not redeem him. He’s a one-of-a-kind musical genius who went crazy, played with morphing his race and gender, slept with children, was repeatedly acquitted of child-molestation charges, and then died, alone and broke.

It’s enough to make you cry.

  56. Tenacity Says:

The POTUS is mostly a figure head doing the bidding of the banksters. The real power rests in the Congress. Given that power corrupts, leaving the unconstitutional level of power will just be exchanging one corrupt politician for another corrupt politician unless the power is shifted back to the people and states.

  57. Tenacity Says:

No matter what the law states or rules are enacted, the politicians are human and fallen. If they have the power of the sword and the power of the purse, the system will be usurped. Those 2 powers must reside in the sovereign citizens of the decentralized states or the centralized false-god will dictate.

Anyone that does not believe the Corbett Report posted by Troy and hesitates…God help you.

good editorial on energy tax bill in Investors Business Daily. It will require US taxpayer money be given to foreign companies – foreign countries who agree to not cut down trees!

I need to rethink the idiocy in Washington – their plan to completely, swiftly, and efficiently dismantle America appears brilliant in both conception and execution.

“”We all know about farmers paid not to grow food. But now, American taxpayers apparently will be paying companies not to chop down trees. The Washington Times reports that as part of the legislation, the House will also be voting Friday on a plan to pay domestic and international companies around the world not to cut down trees.

Such offsets “would be a transfer of wealth overseas,” said William Kovacs, vice president for environmental affairs at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce””

    “hairnet and giveaway”

    This is a smart summary:

“Waxman-Markey is the climate policy equivalent of Sarbanes-Oxley financial regulation, guaranteeing extensive new bureaucracy and substantial economic cost to the productive economy while achieving few of its stated objectives.

And the “cap and trade” system at the heart of the bill is riddled with so many loopholes that it should be considered more of a “hairnet and giveaway.”

As far as I know, this bill has zero chance of getting through the Senate, so it has zero chance of ever becoming law.

So why are Pelosi and Obama doing this?

No Dem in House or Senate is going to waste a vote that will hurt them at home on a bill that has a snowball’s chance in hell of ever becoming law.

So that leaves especially the House Dems whose constituencies want “hairnet and giveaway.” I guess they can go home and say it was the Big Bad Repubs who foiled our best-laid plans. Drat!

    Am I missing something here?!

    “The Stoning of Soraya M”

Another great review –“the impact of a Greek tragedy through its masterful grasp of suspense and group psychology, and some superb acting”– this one by Kevin Thomas in the Los Angeles Times.

Amid the hoopla surrounding Michael Jackson’s death, the deadly repression in Iran continues and the protestors need attention from the west if they are to have a chance of avoiding the security services brutal crackdown.

The New York Times reports that “a senior cleric called for demonstrators to be punished ruthlessly and savagely.’”

The most concerete way to demonstrate support for the protestors is to see this movie this weekend.

“We think we almost had him,” intelligence officials told the online Long War Journal. “It was close.”

    • Russia has called the presidential “election” an “exercise in democracy.” Right.

    • Iranians are using encryption technology originally made by the U.S. Navy to defeat the regime’s censorship

    • Senators Lieberman, McCain and Graham are going to try to pass some very important legislation to expand funding for Radio Farda and Farsi-language broadcasting by Voice of America and take measures to keep YouTube and Twitter available to Iranians, and other tools to “evade the censorship and surveillance of the regime online.”

    • McCain also said he’d investigate firms located outside of Iran that have provided the regime with the technology for surveillance and to block cell phone and Internet activity.

    • The House is also stepping up:

“This week the House Appropriations Committee attached an amendment to the 2010 foreign operations appropriations bill that would direct the Export-Import Bank to cut off US loan guarantees to certain companies doing business with Iran, particularly in the petroleum sector.”

The Pentagon and Department of Homeland Security recently hosted a teleconference for law enforcement agencies and associations such as the National Association of Chiefs of Police to discuss the Obama Administration’s interest in using the military during “emergencies.”

Fortunately, NewsWithViews.com had exclusive access to the discussion and the explanations by Homeland Security and Defense Departments officials.

Officials announced during the teleconference that the Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency Administrator W. Craig Fugate met with the Commander, US Northern Command, General Gene Renuart, to discuss “pre-disaster planning, response and recovery in support of the federal response to the 2009 hurricane season as well as wild fires, floods and other potential disasters.”

(Bullshit!!!….Martial law implimentation after “Bank Holiday” is declared…Can you say, IRAN???)

The meeting reinforced the important relationship between the two organizations and focused on the operational role of US Northern Command and what resources and skills they bring to any major Federal effort related to all-hazards preparedness, response, recovery and mitigation. It was also an opportunity to meet operational leaders who would fill key positions in those support efforts.

“NORTHCOM plays a vital role in disaster response in support of state and local officials,” Fugate said. “I am impressed by their commitment to teamwork and interoperability. They are leaning forward and are solutions-oriented partners among the nation’s emergency response team.”

“We are committed to teaming with and supporting our civilian partners,” added Renuart. “If our federal partners, state and local officials are successful in responding to contingency operations, then ultimately we are successful. We look forward to our continued collaboration and cooperation.”

However, many law enforcement executives and organizations went on the record saying they did not appreciate the prospect of federal troops usurping the authority of local and state law enforcement agencies or the role of the National Guard unit currently under the control of governors.

“My initial reaction is: why are we allowing federal troops to basically invade the sovereignty of individual states when each state has its own law enforcement agencies and each state possesses an armed and trained National Guard and, in the case of some states such as New York, a trained militia?” according to New York police officer Edna Aquino.

“We have not used armed federal troops in New York since the Civil War when Union troops and Navy battleships attacked dissenters who opposed conscription by the Union Army,” she added.

According to officials from the Homeland Security Department, FEMA and Northern Command share a common interest and a unified approach to disaster response and recovery.

“Both organizations also understand that the most effective plans to save lives and protect property begins with preparedness. This meeting was an important stepping stone to ensure mutual preparedness and effective planning in support of state and local officials,” said one official.

Homeland Security Department officials offered these two rationales for their joint ventures with the Department of Defense:

“Emergency preparedness is everyone’s responsibility. Everyone should have a personal response plan for a disaster, everyone should know who their first responders are at the local and state level, and everyone should be prepared to be self-sufficient for at least the first 72 hours.

“FEMA’s mission is to support our citizens and first responders to ensure that as a nation we work together to build, sustain, and improve our capability to prepare for, protect against, respond to, recover from, and mitigate all hazards.”

Political strategist Mike Baker is disturbed over this latest “emergency plan” designed to allow federal troops to operate freely within US borders.

“This is a constitutionally unsound development for our nation. While President Barack Obama and his ilk worry about how America’s military is perceived by other nations and are concerned with how we treat enemies, they seem to be willing to use extreme measures against their own citizens.
Will we witness another Branch Davidian massacre in the name of ’emergency response’ or other rationale? It’s not a positive development for this nation,” said Baker.

Northcom was established about a year after the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks and is responsible for an area of operations that includes the United States, Canada and Mexico. It serves as a “one-stop-shopping” point for military support in case of an attack on American soil. However, according to officials speaking during the teleconference, the Obama Administration is expanding that role to include natural disasters or emergencies that were once the domain of state and local authorities.

Over the years, according to Baker, the federal government has expanded its role and even included other nations in operational plans within the US. For example NORAD is a joint US-Canadian command established 51 years ago to defend against nuclear-armed Soviet aircraft entering North American airspace. Decades later, the command’s mission has expanded to include early detection of threats via air, space, land and sea.

The sheer number of participants speaks to NORAD’s level of preparation and coordination to operate within US borders. Teaming up to deal with emergencies are American and Canadian NORAD agents, the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration, U.S. Transportation Security Administration, Royal Canadian Mounted Police, NAV Canada, the White House, U.S. Departments of Defense and Homeland Security.

“This is not something we should be celebrating. This is something we as Americans should fear,” states another NYPD officer.

“If states do not have the capability to respond on their own to a hurricane or earthquake, then perhaps they should increase their capabilities or change their leadership,” said Det. Benny Cardoza.

“Using Hurricane Katrina as an excuse to increase federal authority in the affairs of individual states is a sorry excuse and one that should be shunned by citizens and local cops,” states the decorated cop.

Why is a U.S. Army brigade being assigned to “Homeland Security?”

Q: What are the chances this bill will become law?

A: Both the Obama administration and Democrats want this bill passed by the end of the year, when negotiations for a new international agreement to reduce greenhouse gases get under way in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Even as Democrats hold the majority in Congress, it will not be easy to get this enacted.

Many moderate Democrats from rural states and conservative districts are worried about the costs and complexity of the legislation when the economy is already weak.

Very few Republicans, if any, are expected to support the bill.

Approval of a climate bill in the Senate has been viewed as a long shot.

Parts of the bill may need to be changed to secure approval in the Senate.

So, who are the Senate Blue Dogs?

They are a group led by Evan Bayh (D-Ind.) and include moderate Democrats like

    Senators Mark Pryor (Ark.),

    Blanche Lincoln (Ark.),

    Mary Landrieu (La.),

    Ben Nelson (Neb.),

    Jim Webb (Va.),

    Tom Carper (Del.),

    Kent Conrad (N.D.)and

Mark Warner, (D-Va.), to name a few of the dozen or so in the loosely formed coalition.

Bayh joked that the coalition has 12-13 official members, and 2-3 that are in the witness protection program.

(I heard Eric Cantor say this morning there are seventeen (17) Dems in Senate who oppose cap and trade, or at least are expected to oppose what comes out of the House.)

My guy Dan Clifton of Strategas Research hears what I am also hearing:

As of early this morning, the votes were not present for passage, but House leadership has publicly claimed progress and is confident they have the votes to pass the legislation.

Should the bill pass, the vote will likely be a razor thin majority.
While today’s vote will have an impact on the financial markets, we remain convinced that passage in the Senate is a very unlikely event and today could represent a head fake.

Passage of the House bill should not be underestimated, but House passage is not a proxy for the Senate passage. A razor thin simple majority in the House does not translate into a required 3/5 majority in a more restrictive Senate.
Time is not on the side of the cap-and-trade effort. The longer the economy stays weak, the more this legislation seems like an expensive indulgence.
Plus, the consensus on the science is breaking down.

Obama Ordered By Judge To Respond On Birth Certificate Issue By Monday

    by DefendUSx June 26, 2009 17:01
    Posted on June 26, 2009.

You may be wondering what this has to do with Barry Soetoro/Barack Hussein Obama aka; BHO.
Dr. Sun Yat-sen was born on 12 November 1866, to a peasant family in the village of Cuiheng, Xiangshan county , Guangzhou prefecture, Guangdong province (26 km or 16 miles north of Macau). Born in China, Dr. Sun Yat-Sen has a Certificate of Hawaiian/Live Birth aka; COLB, just the same as Obama. Dr. Sun Yat-Sen’s background is no less than the Father of ‘Modern’ China, a great hero. Remember, Hawaii issues COLBs for those who have lived one year in Hawaii prior to their foreign birth and issue Birth Certificates, to those who were actually born in Hawaii.

The correlation between Sun Yat-sen (China) and Barry Soetoro (Kenya then no dual citizenship Indonesia) aka; B.H. Obama, is to illustrate that fact. Both also illustrate (revolutionaries) Sun Yat-sen “Father Of Modern China” and Soetoro “Statist” – pre Socialism, using Hawaii.

Sun Yat-sen was born in 1866 in China and applied for a Hawaiian Certificate in 1904 with a price on his head from China. Remember, Sun Yat-sen was educated like Soetoro and used his education to overthrow the government of China in hopes of establishing National Socialism. Many correlations to Sun Yat-sen are now being laid down by Soetoro in the USA. It is by no coincidence that these two revolutionaries chose Hawaii. First, Sun Yat-sen fled to the Hawaiian territories to escape the hangman’s noose in China after stirring up such a commotion and Soetoro to claim U.S. Citizenship by proxy.

Sun Yat-sen applied at age 38 to become an American Citizen via Hawaiian birth laws (for U.S. protection from China), thus no immigration requisites (No Vetting) – granted retroactively for 1904 application to 1870. Soetoro applied by proxy thru Aunt, as his mother was underage and could not legally apply for a COLB (Certificate Of Live Birth – given to foreign born children) vs Birth Certificate (given to natural born Hawaii children). No distinction is made in law by certification or certificate.

Sun Yat-sen was governed by Hawaiian Territorial Laws, which were granted retroactively from 1904 back to a non descriptor alleged 1870 birth date in the Hawaii Islands. This was a ‘paper’ convenience, as no vetting took place and he could blend in and hide to save his neck.

Bottom line: The COHB for Sun Yat-sen, the COLB for Soetoro, and where they were born, were governed by different requisites. One Territorial and the other by State, separated by a half century – yet one factor was similar, both used Hawaiian Law for the convenience of obscurity. This issue alone pales in comparison to Obama’s Indonesian Citizenship – for if by chance it is shown he was actually born in Hawaii (this would cause a huge investigation into the fraud of the COLBs and the whys) – Soetoro’s None Dual Citizenship of Indonesia is enough to shut him down when his mother allowed Barry to be adopted under Islamic Indonesian Law (no dual citizenship).

Guess what Barry used for convenience when Barry came back to Hawaii to live with his Grandmother – thats right the COLB. Did Barry ever work anywhere for taxing purposes? So, is all this to keep conspiracy theorists busy stirring up non-issues to preoccupy citizens while Barry convolutes the U.S. Constitution under their noses? Or is this as the Republican National Committee states, “”The problem that we have with this president is that we don’t know him,” Steele said. “He was not vetted……”

One has to apply critical thinking here and not Un Constitutional ‘empathy’ (which Barry calls for) when comparing John McCain vs Barry Soetoro: The Constitution is based upon Judeo Christian Doctrine which is emphatic-’empathy’ for one’s Freedom ‘USA is a Republic’. Being emphatic-’empathy’ towards non-freedom/slavery is National Socialism – Islamic Fascism.

    1) John McCain showed the U.S. Citizens’ his Vault Birth Certificate.

    2) Barry Soetoro has spent over $1M USD not to show the U.S. Citizen his Vault Birth Certificate. Barry has shown on the internet his COLB which is NOT prima facie evidence and further, 3 forensic scientists have declared affidavits stating the COLB has been modified. These affidavits are submitted in Courts and when over the ’standing issue’ will be vetted.

So look how much ’stir’ Obama has caused, by not simply following McCain’s lead in being transparent with a $12.50 Vault Birth Certificate. Simple fundamental questions are being blocked by over $1,000,000.00 USD – which does not compute!

Yet, what Passport did Soetoro use when he travelled to Pakistan in 1981 when Americans were barred from Pakistan? Did he take a USA passport to Indonesia and then an Indonesian passport to Pakistan? Just how did he get into Pakistan? This happened when he left Occidental College in California for Columbia University. Obama has a high powered legal team keeping his records from being vetted at Occidental (WHY?) The Laws of privacy are to PREVENT FRAUD and NOT TO COMMIT FRAUD. Why has Barry spent well over $1M USD to keep his past records from being vetted? The U.S. President is to be a symbol of Truth and Honesty – of which Soetoro has a long way to go to instill that precept into American thought.

  112. Troy Says:

Passing President Obama’s “cap and trade” energy program would cost the average Oklahoma family $3,200 a year, Sen. Jim Inhofe said Friday, but he’s confident the measure will be killed in the Senate no matter what happens in the House of Representatives.

The Tulsa Republican, a longtime critic of what he considers “this hoax called global warming,” made his latest statements during a morning stop in Shawnee while House members in Washington were preparing to vote on the controversial issue.

“Between the years of 1998 and 2005, I was the only member of the United States Senate who would take on what I call ‘the Hollywood elitists’ and the United Nations on this hoax called global warming and I went through seven years of purgatory on that issue.

“But now I’ve been redeemed and the vast majority of the scientific community has now said Inhofe’s right and the United Nations is wrong and those individuals … have now said ‘no, the science is not there and these are natural cycles.”

    These are the phuckers:
GOP Turncoats include: Bono Mack; Castle; Kirk; Lance; LoBiondo; McHugh; Reichert; Smith(NJ)

GOP members not voting: Flake and Sullivan.

(Note: One GOP yea vote seems to be missing from roll call vote.)

Troy, I posted the link below earlier and wanted to repost it after reading Lame Cherry. While the MIT article is analytical, it points out that what Lame Cherry is saying, has already happened in Europe.

Not often you find MIT and Lame Cherry on the same page.

    This is bad, very bad.

  117. j.b. Says:

I’d be willling to bet the ONE missing “yea” vote was the spineless RINO from MI., (my home state) Vern Ehlers.
I, for the second time in my life, watched the last two hours of that hot mess unfold on C-SPAN. Boehner did a decent job-he needs to quit smoking, though. I agree with MM, he should have read the whole 300 pages that were dumped :in the hopper” at 3 o’clock this morning!

    Phuckin’ Phuckers.

  118. sdee Says:

I’ve had it with Fox, they could have easily laid out to the American public how corrupt and destrucitve this bill is. Instead the run all this Jacko crapo. Even Laura Ingram and Hannity have joined the cult. This proves they cover what the producers tell them to.

remeber – turn off Fox when they fail to tell the truth or distract. Muted or not – if your cable box is on Fox, they get the ratings.

Drudge is brilliant – he posted the data below today – notice the reversal in the Fox numbers. Had they covered the Energy Tax bill instead of distracting us with Jacko, they would have won the ratings.

No shit! I expect that crap from HahRaldo-but Sean? No.

Glenn Beck was saying that Brett Baier and (of all people) Shepard Smith were (s’posedly) asking, “why so much” . I can see why Brett would ask, they cancelled his WHOLE friggin’ show last night! I mean, seriously GMAFB!

I’m sorry if this offends…………but, imo, MJ died the day he showed up to court in his pajamas.

    May he rest in peace.

Now let’s get on with defending the undefensible attempts at the DESTRUCTION OF OUR GREAT COUNTRY!

    Shall we?
