Toward the Within

Joyce Little White Dove

Desert Song

Favoured one, fade on, see them run
Journey ’round, heave ho all night long
You’ve been afraid for far too long
I’ve been enraged in my song
I’ve been a rose in my rage
I’ve been a rose
I’ve been a rose
I’ve been a rose
Canaan ran, since her desert song
Canaan ran, rides on the bird song
You’ve been afraid for far too long
I’ve been enraged in my songs
I’ve been a rose
I’ve been a rage
I’ve been a rose
I’ve been a rage
I’ve been a rose

“I am stretched on your grave”

Toward the Within was recorded in one take in November 1993 in the Mayfair Theatre in Santa Monica, California and was released by 4AD as an album and a video a year later.

It was the last major event to take place in the Mayfair Theatre before it was fatally weakened in the earthquake a short time later and had to be demolished.

The video was filmed by Mark Magidson and contains interviews with Lisa Gerrard and Brendan Perry.

This is the opening part, including Rakim and two declarations from Gerrard and Perry.

USA & Obama Request Extension of Time to Respond

Two defendants in the Kerchner et al v Obama & Congress et al lawsuit, Barack Obama and the USA, have filed an “Entry of Appearance” and have requested a 15 day extension to the time allotted to them to respond. This is beyond the 60 days they were provided initially. When the government is the defendant, the government is given 60 days to respond. With the filing today, they asked for another 15 days and the court granted it. The new response date is May 5th, 2009. For more details see the documents at or the court filings list in the right frame.

    Obama Nomination Papers Are Perjurious!

Tell All 50 State Attorneys General To Investigate NOW The Compelling Evidence That Barack Obama Was Born In Africa!

    Dear Concerned Friend,

I dared bring Barack Obama into court to force him to produce his birth certificate and put an end to the controversy over his status as a “natural born” citizenship once and for all. And now he’s coming after me and the United States Justice Foundation (USJF) — the public-interest legal group that I founded over 30 years ago — with a vengeance! Merely because we dare to seek the truth!

And they must have something to hide, because Mr. Obama’s attorneys have threatened to spend, and then sanction, USJF out of existence.

USJF has started efforts to convince State Attorneys General, all across the country, to investigate whether Barack Obama has committed perjury by knowingly filing false nomination papers … claiming to be constitutionally eligible to run for, and serve as, President of the United States. As you know, the available evidence shows that he was born in Africa. A FAX to all 50 State Attorneys General is available for you to send right now.

You see, even though it’s past January 20, 2009 — inauguration day — Barack Obama can still be stopped from becoming an illegal “squatter” in the White House.

FAX All 50 State Attorneys General To Investigate Obama’s Fraud

Frankly, the evidence that Barack Hussein Obama was born in Africa — not Hawaii as he claims – and, therefore, cannot serve as the President of the United States, is compelling.

    * First, Mr. Obama’s refusal to release his birth certificate. If he has nothing to hide, what does he gain by refusing to allow the press to see the birth certificate?
    * Second, the contention by Barack Obama’s half-sister, Maya Soetoro-Ng, that Mr. Obama was born in a particular Hawaiian hospital, only to claim that it was in a different hospital several years later.
    * Third, the erecting of a wall around Barack Obama’s grandmother, the late Madelyn Dunham, by Mr. Obama, thus cutting off access to the one person then alive who would have been present if he was actually born in Hawaii.
    * Fourth, the posting of law enforcement personnel at the two hospitals in Honolulu mentioned by Ms. Soetoro-Ng in an effort to block the press from discovering the truth about the birth certificate.
    * Fifth, a taped phone conversation with Mr. Obama’s step-grandmother in Kenya, who claims that she was present at his birth … in what is now called Kenya!
    * Sixth, the “birth certificate” posted on the Obama campaign website and other liberal websites. Since Barack Obama was born in 1961, long before laser printers and office computers, his original birth certificate would be typewritten … unlike the laser printed “copy” purported to be genuine.

The evidence demands that Barack Obama answer why he has been hiding the truth from the American people about his eligibility to run for, and serve as, President!

That’s right. Not only does Mr. Obama continue to categorically refuse to produce the decisive evidence proving whether he is a “natural born” citizen, his high-priced LA-based “dream team” of attorneys has USJF squarely in its crosshairs! And they’re loading both barrels!

So, unless you help me and my team here at USJF to stand our ground in court, Mr. Obama’s hired guns could blow a financial hole in USJF’s ability to be the proverbial thorn in Mr. Obama’s side!

Barack Obama continues to battle any attempt to see his real birth certificate – producing only a phony one posted on his website — as well as fighting us tooth and nail as we seek access to his college records… records which we believe may prove that he was foreign born!

USJF served a subpoena upon Occidental College to gain access to Mr. Obama’s college records and we are fighting to get at the truth on many other fronts, as well, including:

    1. Appealing a case filed by USJF in California, all the way up to the United States Supreme Court, if necessary, on behalf of 2008 Presidential candidate Alan Keyes, calling into question Mr. Obama’s status as a “natural born” citizen;
    2. Funding, and assisting local attorneys and Plaintiffs, in similar lawsuits, in Ohio, Hawaii, and Mississippi, AND we’re considering filing more lawsuits in other states; and
    3. We have initiated a campaign demanding that your State Attorney General take action now, which I’ll tell you about momentarily…

Click Here Donate & Demand Mr. Obama Show Us the Truth!

You see, when Barack Obama officially entered the office of President, he became, in essence, a “pretender to the throne.” According to the Constitution, only a “natural born citizen” can occupy the presidency.

Even though he was sworn in on January 20, 2009, Barack Obama is not legally the President of the United States, unless he can prove that he is a “natural born citizen.”

What’s more, every action taken by him while he occupies the White House may be invalid. If he cannot legally be President, every law passed by Congress will be null and void because the Constitution clearly requires that all laws be signed by the President … and, without a legally elected and sworn in President in office, that becomes an impossibility.

Quite frankly, this crisis must be ended! And it must be ended now!

And that’s just what we’re fighting to do. The United States Justice Foundation is spearheading a campaign to protect the United States Constitution … and your liberty.

Click Here Donate & Demand Mr. Obama Show Us the Truth!

We have to press our case to stop Barack Obama from, apparently, illegally holding the Presidency, despite the ongoing threats against us. We are speaking of filing additional lawsuits and administrative actions, over and above the dozens already filed, if you will help us today.

I need your help right now in order to win this battle. We must raise the needed funds to continue our legal research, pay court costs and lawyer fees, and to contact all 50 State Attorneys General. Helping USJF with this campaign is your best shot, and, possibly your only chance, at finding out whether Barack Obama is legally holding the Presidency of our great nation, or whether he is a fraud, a usurper!

My friend, please take action immediately. Please FAX all 50 State Attorneys General and please send to me your best possible gift to help USJF stop Barack Obama from continuing his apparent theft of the Presidency!

FAX All 50 State Attorneys General To Investigate Obama’s Fraud

Are you willing to see the Constitution shredded by the Left? Will you sit back and do nothing while a foreign-born person may be illegally occupying the White House as President of the United States?

We will not be intimidated. But we MUST have your help immediately if USJF is to survive this fight to the finish — and if the U.S. Constitution is to weather this crisis intact!

Our country is on the fast track to disaster … but you can help us keep the situation from getting worse. I pray that I’ll hear from you today.

    In His Name,

    Gary Kreep, Executive Director
    United States Justice Foundation

P.S. America has never before faced such a threat. Everything we hold dear is at risk with Barack Obama sitting as President without him releasing his actual birth certificate. Please, send in your best possible gift today!

AUSTIN – Gov. Rick Perry joined state Rep. Brandon Creighton and sponsors of House Concurrent Resolution (HCR) 50 in support of states’ rights under the 10th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

“I believe that our federal government has become oppressive in its size, its intrusion into the lives of our citizens, and its interference with the affairs of our state,” Gov. Perry said. “That is why I am here today to express my unwavering support for efforts all across our country to reaffirm the states’ rights affirmed by the Tenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. I believe that returning to the letter and spirit of the U.S. Constitution and its essential 10th Amendment will free our state from undue regulations, and ultimately strengthen our Union.”

Perry continued: “Millions of Texans are tired of Washington, DC trying to come down here to tell us how to run Texas.”

A number of recent federal proposals are not within the scope of the federal government’s constitutionally designated powers and impede the states’ right to govern themselves. HCR 50 affirms that Texas claims sovereignty under the 10th Amendment over all powers not otherwise granted to the federal government.

It also designates that all compulsory federal legislation that requires states to comply under threat of civil or criminal penalties, or that requires states to pass legislation or lose federal funding, be prohibited or repealed.

    Right’s rage at overbearing Obama

The torrent of ideas flowing out of the White House is raising hackles across the US

On the right, Peter Wehner argued in Commentary magazine that Obamaism represents the emergence of “European-style social democracy”, which will change America’s social and political landscape.

Moderate “blue dog” Democrats are concerned that Obama is taking on too much. Those who are defending tiny majorities in conservative-leaning districts fear a backlash from voters who worry the president is tilting too far to the left.

The scale of Obama’s ambition is enough to make Republicans see red. Glenn Beck, a Fox News host who has been generating his own headlines with exaggerated outbursts, said: “They’re marching us toward 1984. . . Like it or not, fascism is on the rise.”

Hearing of Obama’s plans for immigration reform, Beck imitated pouring petrol over a guest and lighting a match. “How much more can he disenfranchise us?” he fumed.

In another attempt to ener-gise the grass roots, plans are under way for activists from groups such as and the labour organisation Change to Win to meet on Tuesdays in Washington.

Called the Common Purpose project, it is meant to provide “a way for the White House to manage its relationship with some of these independent groups”, according to one of those involved. Ellen Moran, White House communications director, has already turned up to one meeting.

The gathering is modelled on the Republicans’s long-estab-lished Wednesday meetings, run by Grover Norquist, the prominent tax reform activist.

But Norquist is sceptical the Democrats’ version will work. Various left-wing groups have been trying to copy it without success for years, he said.

“Our coalition holds together because nobody wants anything at the expense of anybody else. You can’t have healthcare reform that saves money if the labour unions take everything there is and you can’t have money for education workers if it is spent on health. That makes their coalition more brittle than ours.”

Norquist believes the president has pledged far more than he can deliver. But Obama is helped by the ability to raise colossal sums to stave off recession and reflate the economy. Temporarily, at least, there is plenty to go around.

The true nature of Obamaism may be revealed only once the money runs out. Then we will know if his hyperactivism has worked.

    Why The Tea Parties?

Posted by: Hugh Hewitt at 9:11 AM

The most obvious sign of the radical change is the president’s budget and its massive deficits stretching out as far as the eye can see.

The “stimulus” bill that wasn’t could be understood as a one-time spending frenzy designed along long ago-discredited-but-still-worshipped economic theories of the left, but the budget was different.

It commits the country to a doubling of the national debt in five years, and a tripling of it in ten years.

Defense gets shorted, of course, and the F-22 is a symbol of the roll-out of the build-down.

The president’s progress across Europe reminded many at home of his willingness to blame America for all challenges the world, even as the crazy dictator of North Korea lets fly another missile.

So tomorrow is a collective, giant “We didn’t sign up for this.” It may or may not have lasting significance in terms of energizing center-right campaigns in 2010.

The real tests will be in New Jersey and Virginia where November races for governor could be impacted by the infusion of a large number of committed activists.

President Obama eschewed a moderate center-left course and the opportunity to transform American politics. The bipartisan rhetoric was just that –rhetoric.

The plan is to push hard and fast and as far left as can be had before the wheel turns again.

The wheel has begun to turn, and tomorrow’s celebrations are the first signs of spring on the right.

Eric Burns, Media Matters ( not a big fan of Glenn Beck:

Since launching his Fox News show, Glenn Beck, who has emerged as a prominent player in the network’s lineup of weekday programs, has engaged in increasingly outrageous rhetoric that promotes a culture of conservative paranoia. His recent actions include:

    • Imitating President Obama pouring gasoline onto the “average American”: On April 9, Beck responded to, among other things, reports that President Obama will pursue immigration reform by imitating Obama pouring gasoline onto the “average American.” After lighting and extinguishing a match, Beck asked: “President Obama, why don’t you just set us on fire?”

    • Mocking Obama’s aunt’s “limp”: On April 2, Beck — using a cane as a prop — devoted large portions of a segment to mocking Obama’s aunt’s “limp.”

    • Portraying Obama and Democrats as vampires: On March 30, Beck portrayed Obama and Democrats as vampires “going after the blood of our businesses” and suggested “driv[ing] a stake through the heart of the bloodsuckers.”

  39. rosettasister Says:

    Analysis: Obama Georgetown Speech

President Obama gave an economic pep talk today.

Invoking some biblical imagery, the White House billed it as the “House Upon a Rock” speech.

If all I knew about the U.S. economy came from listening to the president, I would think that we were a low-productivity country with an inefficient private sector dominated by Wall Street.

Actually, we are a high productivity country with an extremely competitive private sector.

Indeed, we have the most competitive economy in the world, according to the World Economic Forum.

The U.S. economy is already built on a rock.

We just need to rehab a few rooms, maybe replace some old wiring.

The role of excess saving inflows from emerging Asia

    Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke

Saving inflows from abroad can be beneficial if the country that receives those inflows invests them well.

Unfortunately, that was not always the case in the United States and some other countries.

Financial institutions reacted to the surplus of available funds by competing aggressively for borrowers, and, in the years leading up to the crisis, credit to both households and businesses became relatively cheap and easy to obtain.

One important consequence was a housing boom in the United States, a boom that was fueled in large part by a rapid expansion of mortgage lending.

Unfortunately, much of this lending was poorly done, involving, for example, little or no down payment by the borrower or insufficient consideration by the lender of the borrower’s ability to make the monthly payments.

(Much of this lending was poorly done! Well, whose fault is that?! The politicians don’t want to accept any of the blame.)

Why Obama will never show his vault birth certificate.

    By Polarik

To date, the suspicions have not subsided, yet people are talking about Obama’s Certification of Live Birth (COLB) as if it really exists.

Because they know that foreign-born children are also issued a COLB by Hawaii, and therefore, the COLB cannot confirm one’s natural-born status.

Only the actual, “vault” original birth certificate can, and Obama knows that better than anyone.

What other reason could there be for a sitting President to refuse such a simple request?

Because, it is not a “simple request,” but a bombshell that blows Obama’s entire Presidency right out of the water.

Now that you see the big picture, what are you going to do about it??

I spoke directly with Onaka on or about June 23 of last year, and I asked him if his office had printed the COLB shown on Obama’s website. He said that he wasn’t aware of anyone requesting it. That was quickly followed with, “We really cannot confirm or deny that. It’s protected information.” It’s hard to believe that I’m the only one who spoke with him. Everyone else was content to talk to non-managerial staff like Janice Okubo, the Communications Officer. But, I digress.

If a case of document fraud has been committed, and it has, and there are relevant statutes that have been violated, and there are, at both the State and Federal levels, then it should have been a no-brainer to, at least, have it investigated where it began.

Not with President Obama. Not with the State of Hawaii. Not with anyone in government. Auythories need to question the people who are both culpable and accessible, namely his Campaign staff (like Tommy Vietor, Shaun Daly) and the friendly, forgery folk at Factcheck. There’s more here than meets the eye.

It happened: the Brownshirts came for my gun. I had to turn in my license and I have to appear in court in 3 weeks to try to get it back. I have no criminal record, no history of violence (aside from pulling my sister’s hair as a kid and throwing a White Russian on my ex when he called me the ‘c’ word), and no history of mental illness. I have never even fired my gun. I only own it because I was repeatedly stalked, harassed, and accosted by an inbred, child-molesting, Islamonazi terrorist under the complete sanction, and in a few cases, the active encouragement, of every relevant individual in every relevant office at IUB. They were obviously behind it because they were cc’ed on the letter. They’re doing this to me because I sued them for violating my Title VI and Title VII rights and they don’t stand a chance of winning. IUB’s General Counsel, Dottie Frapwell, called the ICRC and told them I was expelled (I wasn’t; I just got an email asking me to confirm the address where they’re to send my MA diploma) to try to hold up my case until I figured out what they did.

I wrote the NRA and they referred me to two attorneys, but one doesn’t have a real phone number and the other donated thousands to Kerry and Edwards (and HuffPo has a record of it), so he would undoubtedly intentionally throw my case.

Does anybody know a good lawyer in the Indianapolis area? Should I post this to the general blog forum?

    Dear Friend:

Thank you for contacting me regarding the recent federal election. I welcome your thoughts and comments.

Expressing our choice for President and Vice President is one of our most important rights as citizens of a free society. Voters like you who educate themselves on the issues and participate through voting and activism are vital to a robust democracy. Your continued participation in elections helps ensure that our nation’s Founding Fathers’ intentions for a self-governing people are fulfilled, and that America remains a beacon of liberty in the world.

In the run-up to the election and in its aftermath, many Texans have written to express their thoughts and concerns about the electoral process. Some have even raised concerns about the eligibility of candidates to serve in elected office under the Constitution. The courts and the Federal Elections Commission play a central role in determining the eligibility of candidates to serve in the offices they seek. You can be certain that I will continue to be vigilant in making sure that these institutions perform their critical role in overseeing fair and transparent elections.

Thank you for sharing your opinions, and for your participation in the electoral process. I hope you will not hesitate to keep in touch on any issue of concern to you.

The Politicization of the Department of Homeland Security

Lastly, the timing of the release of this document near April 15 is, well, it’s suspicious. Using the DHS/I&A intelligence assessment composition model:

The possible correlation between the release of this report shortly before the scheduled rightwing-related Tea Parties could indicate an effort by some to potentially distract attention away from the legitimate protests of April 15 against federal taxes in a way similar to the 1998 bombing of a Sudanese aspirin factory.

A long time ago, a young, U.S. Army, counterintelligence agent submitted reports to a hardscrabble, retired, master sergeant for his review and editing. It was the rare report that didn’t bounce back covered with words lined-out in red ink, and comments scribbled in the margins like “Says who?” “How do you know that?” “Prove it.”

If he edited the DHS/I&A’s intelligence assessment, it’d come back looking like a CSI crime scene.

White House Blocks TEA Party at Treasury

Posted on Wednesday, April 15, 2009 6:40:58 AM by pabianice

Live now on Fox — White House is blocking TEA Party set for the Treasury in DC,. despite the demonstration already having been granted a permit. Second TEA Party at Lafayette Park to proceed, but White House blocked the unloading of 1M tea bags.

This comes upon the DHS report warning that such demonstrations are “hate groups” that must be monitored closely as such demonstrators are “prone to owning guns and being violent.”

Cure for Hawaii’s tourism woes (Sarcasm)

I have an idea about how to bail out Hawaii – and it won’t cost taxpayers a dime.

Hawaii should locate the hospital in which Obama was born and declare it an historic landmark.

Officials should do their best to locate any living staffers who were on duty when Obama was born in that hospital who might have some recollections about the birth.

    Make it a tourist attraction.

Invite the whole mainland to get involved in reliving this historic event.

Heck, I would book a flight to Hawaii myself to be a witness.

Exclusive: Obama Attorney Threatens Distinguished Veteran on Obama Birth Certificate Issue: Why?

The entire letter, written by Obama attorney Robert F. Bauer, states the following (and we note that there is no reference in this letter to an existing valid Birth Certificate for Barack Obama, as opposed to a Certificate of Live Birth, and there is no claim that a valid Birth certificate exists which can be shown to the American people, an act that immediately would shut down this query):

“I represent President Barack Obama and Vice President Joseph Biden. I write to request that, in light of the District Court’s March 24, 2009 Rule 11 order in Hollister v. Soetoro, No. 08-2254, you withdraw the appeal filed in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia, No. 09-5080. For the reasons stated in Judge Robertson’s order, the suit is frivolous and should not be pursued.

Should you decline to withdraw this frivolous appeal, please be informed that we intend to pursue sanctions, including costs, expenses, and attorney’s fees, pursuant to federal Rule Appellate Procedure 38 and D.C. Circuit Rule 38.”

    The COLB Drama Continues

    To: sometime lurker

“I’m not sure, but I believe Texas Darlin (now TD) discovered this, and Polarik found out also. Techdude claimed credentials he didn’t have. No one has been able to substatiate that Maya Soetero had a COLB.”

Nor was it even necessary to do so, because it didn’t change the fact that I knew this COLB image was bogus, that I knew how it was made, and that Maya’s COLB had nothing to do with it.

Now, I was the one who first discovered that Techdude was a fraud and I warned TexasDarlin, early on, not to trust him. My warnings about TechDude were ignored and she published his work anyway. She would, eventually, stop publishing his work, but not because he was a fraud — she said that it was in response to TechDude’s worries about his safety and the safety of his family. THAT story was bogus, the tale about the dead rabbit was bogus, and we now know that TechDude had stolen the identity of a real forensic document examiner, but when he couldn’t do what he promised to do, he dropped out of sight using the excuses listed above.

I knew that TechDude was way off the mark when I saw his preliminary work, and that a real forensic document examiner (which he had claimed to be) would never make such dubious claims). Do you know what TechDude gave as a theory as to how Maya’s name was allegedly visible on Obama’s COLB??

TechDude was the one who said that Maya’s COLB had been soaked in solvent to remove the laser print and then dried and typed over. His theory was patently ridiculous as the solvent would also destroy the integrity of the paper and its pattern. Not only that, there is a patent currently waiting for approval for a new chemical process to remove laser print from paper pulp in order to recycle it.

FACTCHECK had a field day with that theory and they made special mention of it as a way to trash genuine research.

If you recall, Jay McKinnon was originally credited, and also discredited, with creating the COLB image forgery, and that story was first published on Israel Insider — it was also destined to become the longest-running thread on FR (now up to 7,584 comments):

Amid protests, Obama defends tax record

Michelle Poland, 33, a project manager from southern Maryland who subcontracts map-making projects for the federal government, stood on the fringes of the rally with a large hand-painted sign that read, “Tax slavery sucks.”

“I’m completely against the way my money is being spent,” Ms. Poland said. “If we already have an extreme debt, we shouldn’t spend more money.”

“They’re just doling it out like it’s penny candy,” said her mother, Lynne, who drove up from the Virginia’s Northern Neck to attend the rally.

The anti-tax activists said that the rallies were a mass movement against “hugely wasteful programs like the stimulus and bailouts,” even though one of the most massive bailouts, a $700 billion bill to help stabilize the financial sector last fall, was passed under President Bush, a Republican.

    Screw Napolitano!

The differences between these two reports could not be more vast.

In one, DHS downplays the potential for violence from proven and existing violent groups.

In the other, DHS presumes violence from a wide range of mainstream political points of view without any evidence of a threat, any specific groups, and impugns millions of veterans as potential terrorists.

The people behind both of these reports should be fired, and Janet Napolitano should resign as DHS Secretary.
