‘Brothers in Arms’: A Song That Wrote Itself by John Ondrasik

Brothers in Arms

Doesn’t mean a thing
Baking in the Sun
When all you have are memories

Is never what it seems
Till you see it for yourself
Nobody else can know

I don’t know how we got here
I don’t know what’s ahead
But wherever we are going
We’ll be Brothers in Arms

What’s that picture on the wall
You were barely old enough to crawl
I had your back

Who are these men we have become
Are we still little boys
Are they who we are fighting for

I don’t know how we got here
I don’t know what’s ahead
But wherever we are going to
We’ll be Brothers in Arms…

Time doesn’t mean a thing
Baking in the sun
When all you got are memories

Life is never what it seems
See it for yourself
Nobody else can know

I don’t know how we got here
I don’t know what’s ahead
But whatever comes we’ll always be
Brothers in Arms…

    Yes, you sure are.

  3. Katie Says:

Did anyone else see Glen Beck’s interview today w/ “Thomas Paine”? His real name is Bob, he grew up in NYC with a father who was a fire chief, and remembers America the day before Pearl Harbor.

    I wanted to hug him!

  4. KoolAid_Free_Lexi Says:

Katie, I don’t think I’ll ever have time to catch up on all the vids and info … but at least a goodly portion is here on this blog to keep me in the know. And thanks again, everyone, for that.

  5. CJ Says:

I saw it Katie. It was great. Glenn is really the one msm guy who is bringing out much of the stuff we have discussed on the blogs. It should be interesting to see how far Fox will let him go. So far, he hasn’t mentioned the eligibility issue to my knowledge. I would think he has all the info that we do as it seems he has been paying attention to what’s going on ala the Internet and Obama. Maybe this is the one thing Fox said to stay away from. Still, he has not been worried about bringing forth a lot of what others have ridiculed as fringe topics. Good for him and I enjoy watching everyday.

  6. Katie Says:

CJ – If FOX is smart, they’ll let him have at it. His ratings are blowing all their other program out of the water, so there’s obviously an audience for the truth. When I heard the constitutional Judge Napolitano respectfully interview (and agree with) Alex Jones about the NWO and The Obama Deception, I about fell out of my chair!

I’d like to think Glen reads Rose’s blog and WE’RE educating HIM! 😉

    Hi Glen!!

  7. Tenacity Says:

    Dream on Katie…lol

  8. susiezen Says:

The truth is, Glenn does read these blogs extensively, he said so on his radio show last week, mentioning how often he reads these blogs daily. I cant say he uses the blogs for his show, but he references to them especially on the radio where his time is less constrictive.

The economy apparently is going to get even worse just out today our report by the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office. Says that the budget deficits will average — almost one trillion dollars a year over the next ten years that is two point three trillion dollars worse then predicted by the White House in its budget. And we — begun.

And then are you doing too much you know — agree this this great agenda viewers is it overload can congress possibly handle it especially in view of this Congressional Budget Office report indicating that — over the next. Ten years we’re going to have more than nine trillion dollars in deficit build up with no reversal. As the president has promised so we you know good can you do — this morning.

  15. CJ Says:

ddlew: Yes that’s right. He did however, mention that subject a bit on Friday, when he gave a brief rundown on what he has covered that no one else has. No eligibility stuff though except for a comment every once in awhile about O maybe not being quite the correct legitimate Pres. Kind of says it quickly in passing. Very subtle digs about it. I think maybe he’d like to get into it more but is being curtailed by the big wigs at Fox. I’m sure he has more freedom than he had at CNN. I’d love to see Lou Dobbs and Shepherd Smith switch networks. Dobbs is another who isn’t afraid to speak up and call someone out and is no Obama lover. Thank goodness Fox does what it does. May not be perfect, but at least some things are getting out and their ratings are very good, so people are tuning in. Just wonder if they are preaching to the choir at this point. I also wonder if they are increasing their viewership. This would be a good indicator that more citizens are looking for the truth. Will they listen is the big question.

Man critical of Obama case judge visited by marshals

‘I told your Gestapo goons we had nothing to talk about’

A Washington, D.C., man who believes Barack Obama probably isn’t eligible to be president – and colorfully stated as much to a federal judge who dismissed a case challenging Obama’s residency in the White House – says he got a visit from U.S. marshals for his exercise of free speech.

Jesse Merrell told WND he was reacting to Judge James Robertson’s decision to throw out a case challenging Obama’s eligibility because the issue had been thoroughly “twittered.”

Merrell sarcastically gave the judge a “good-for-you.”

“How dare people use a flimsy thing like the Constitution to darken your sanctimonious door!” he wrote to the judge. “The insane idea that a blue-gum baboon slashing our Constitution has to prove U.S. citizenship – as our silly old Constitution demands – is too absurd to consider in the sacred chambers of the tiny tin gods of the Potomac, adorning the royal purple and sipping Jim Jones Kool-Aid.

“Thanks to smug, slimy shysters like you, Obama gets a free ride – snootily stomping on our foolish Constitution, which supercilious idiots like you have long ago shredded for their own stupid opinions!” Merrell continued in the letter, a copy of which he provided to WND.

He finished with his speculation on what “ought” to happen to the judge, a physical act not appropriate for a family-oriented report.

A short time later, he said he found two U.S. marshals on his doorstep.

    The Change You Asked For

    March 21, 2009

    Thomas D. Segel

You first heard about it during the Obama campaign, but negative pubic reaction forced him to stop talking about it. At that time he called it “The Civilian Security Force”. Now in office, he feels secure in resurrecting the project. The plan is to turn government civilian workers into the new Democrat version of German “Brown Shirts”, Directives being drafted would convert these civilian employees into the” DoD Civilian Expeditionary Workforce” and have them serve as combat support for the military. Bet you didn’t see that change coming, did you?

The worst thing is all the money the Administration has spent and the huge additional sums it wants to spend don’t even exist in our Treasury. More importantly, our nation’s credit is so bad; other countries do not want to lend us the money the Democrats want to spend. What happens? Well, they will run our printing presses day and night to create the green backs called for in their legislation. This has already cheapened the dollar so much the United Nations is recommending that the dollar no longer be used as the international money standard. I guess that is the change everybody really wants, isn’t it?

    Supremes read Kansas blog?

Focused on page dealing with claims of ineligibility

A Kansas blogger who identifies herself as msplaceddemocrat.com and writes on a wide range of topics recently was surprised to find through her monitoring software that someone from the U.S. Supreme Court was reading her site, which routinely gets several hundred visits per day.

Then she tracked the page to her recent commentary about Orly Taitz, the California lawyer who is pursuing a number of challenges to President Obama’s eligibility to be president.

Her commentary included Taitz’ recent interviews, on which WND has reported, with Justice Antonin Scalia and Chief Justice John Roberts.

The blogger, Nancy Armstrong, had blogged:

“Dr. Orly Taitz, both a lawyer and naturalized citizen, has personally taken on the issue of Obama’s eligibility. There is nothing wrong with her questioning this issue because Obama has literally hidden every evidence of his past. What has he hidden? All school records, passport records, employment records (forget his stupid story about ice cream and an ice cream shop….I believe it is another one of Obama’s lies.) and his REAL birth certificate.

“Dr. Orly Taitz wouldn’t even have to question anything if Obama was transparent about his life, something he continues to fight with law firms all over the country.

Transparency would end all issues, but we will never see that from Obama…,” the blogger continued.

“Dr. Taitz has been racing across the country, often times missing her three sons, to meet with Supremes….particularly Scalia and Roberts to further her ‘quo warranto’ case now at the door of the Supreme Court.”

“Why would the state of Hawaii have a birth certificate for him if he wasn’t born in Hawaii?”

The laws of the State of Hawaii (at the time 0bama was born, 1961) allowed parents of children born OUTSIDE the U.S., i.e., foreign born babies to be registered with the State of Hawaii AS IF they had actually been born IN Hawaii, on U.S. soil, when in fact they were not.

”They don’t issue Hawaii birth certificates to people born in Kenya.”

They could at that time, and if they did, it would explain the reluctance of the 0bamunist leadership to have that document revealed to the public.

There is plenty of information on this online, I’d suggest starting with Google.

CBO Says Budget, Economic Outlook Have Worsened

The U.S. economic and federal budget outlook for the next two years is significantly worse than it was two months ago, the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office said Friday.

The latest baseline forecast shows a deficit of $1.7 trillion this year, or 11.9% of gross domestic product, and $1.14 trillion in 2010, or 7.9% of GDP.

If President Obama’s budget proposals are adopted, the deficit would rise to $1.8 trillion, or 13.1% of GDP, this year and $1.4 trillion, or 9.6% of GDP, in 2010.

The CBO said it believed GDP would fall 1.5% this year and grow 4.1% next year.

The output gap will average about 7% over the next two years, CBO said.

Unemployment will hit 9.4% this year, while inflation will remain low through 2012.
Over the next 10 years, the president’s budget plans would add about $4.8 trillion to the total debt.

White House Budget Director Peter Orszag said the new forecast wouldn’t change the administration’s budget priorities or tactics. He said the Obama administration still hopes to spend money in the coming years on health care, education clean energy to boost long-term productivity.

Republicans said Obama’s budget is unaffordable.

“Our debt will increase to shocking levels that are simply unsustainable and will devastate future economic opportunities for our children and grandchildren,” said Sen. Judd Gregg, R-N.H., the leading Republican on the budget committee, who accepted and then backed out of Obama’s nomination as commerce secretary.

If you’re a glutton for punishment, you may want to take a look at document where one can find all the “good” news.

    Click to access 03-20-PresidentBudget.pdf

    On Pages ix and x

CBO’s analysis of the President’s budget proposals indicates

B As estimated by CBO and the Joint Committee on
Taxation, the President’s proposals would add
$4.8 trillion to the baseline deficits over the 2010–
    2019 period.

CBO projects that if those proposals
were enacted, the deficit would total $1.8 trillion
(13.1 percent of GDP) in 2009 and $1.4 trillion
(9.6 percent of GDP) in 2010.

    It would decline to
about 4 percent of GDP by 2012 and remain between
4 percent and 6 percent of GDP through 2019.

B The cumulative deficit from 2010 to 2019 under the
President’s proposals would total $9.3 trillion, compared
with a cumulative deficit of $4.4 trillion projected
under the current-law assumptions embodied in
    CBO’s baseline.

Debt held by the public would rise,
from 41 percent of GDP in 2008 to 57 percent in
2009 and then to 82 percent of GDP by 2019 (compared
with 56 percent of GDP in that year under
    baseline assumptions).

CBO’s estimates of deficits under the President’s
budget exceed those anticipated by the Administration
by $2.3 trillion over the 2010–2019 period.

The differences arise largely because of differing projections
    of baseline revenues and outlays.

CBO’s projection of baseline deficits exceeds the Administration’s
estimate (prepared on a comparable basis) by about
    $1.6 trillion.

Obama’s sister, Maya, was born in Indonesia and she was issued a Certification of Live Birth from the State of Hawaii as well. Leo Donofrio, though I respect his latest efforts with Writ of Quo Warranto, seems convinced Obama has a legitimate bc, which shows he was born in Honolulu. On this, Leo is wrong. Best not to question him on this particular matter as he doesn’t take too kindly with those who oppose his views.
Still, I am grateful he has moved this case forward into Holder’s realm. After Holder’s eyeballs hit the back of his brains while reading this Writ of Quo Warranto, no doubt he will call Barky and they can hit the basketball courts and smirk for another day.
