Rose,I never did get to my true story, maybe next time. I walked the beach today with my son and two dogs, waves were really beating the shore. a few surfers bound in dry suits to ward off hypothermia. Spring was definitely touching my soul, but it was still under 50 degrees in the sun…It sure felt great though. There were many people out on the boardwalk, and you just get that feeling to stretch the kinks of winter away and fill your senses with the salt of the sea, the sun and wind, my little guy looking up at me with a big smile and the dogs running in the sand….so its one of those moments when life is really really good!
The Sea puts things into perspective for me when Im feeling a little down….its shows me just how small I am.
Back home in the woods now, pellet stove stoked, taking the chill from my coastal visit away, I decided to catch the replay of Glenn Becks show and wow, If that didn’t smack your senses, than nothing ever will.
It makes you really want to just run around telling everyone you know to wake up! So many people are wondering around like zombies without an inkling of what perils our nation could meet very soon.
I just pray to our good Lord that people are strong enough to take in these atrocities and truth’s about to come to America. we need a fighting chance, and UNITY is the only hope we have for salvation.

Im sure you all are wondering why Is even back here, didn’t I say I was leaving? well, the door didn’t hit me in the butt, so I figured I might as well just keep on talking.
Im a firm believer that time always gives good people a chance to reveal themselves…..excuses, blaming, pointing fingers is characterless.
It was a bad day, I was waiting for the other shoe to drop and it did, unfortunately I said things I wished I hadn’t, but my downfall on these blogs is that the keyboard gets me in trouble….I lose my animation, being Italian, and my words come out far to dry…….you can pass right by my post if you so choose, and those who asked me to not speak their name, consider it done.
Lastly, Rose, thank you for the kind words you sent me. you are a special person and your purpose here will unfold one day as a great and giving purpose. At the end of the day that’s all that really counts….

    Newsmax Report
    Czech President Blasts Global Warming

Czech President Vaclav Klaus says many global warming advocates are more interested in money than they are in climate change.

Speaking at the opening session of the Second International Conference on Climate Change last week in New York, Klaus — who is also President pro-tem of the European Union — warned that politicians have “succeeded in creating incentives which led to the rise of a very powerful [profit]-seeking group.

“These people are interested neither in temperature, CO2, competing scientific hypotheses and their testing, nor in freedom or markets. They are interested in their businesses and their profits — made with the help of politicians.”

They will profit, he said, from trading the licenses to emit carbon dioxide, and from constructing unproductive wind, solar and similar equipment able to generate electricity only with high levels of subsidies.

They will also make money from doing research, writing and speaking about global warming.

At the New York conference, sponsored by the Heartland Institute and attended by more than 700 scientists, Klaus declared that “there is no fixed and stable relationship between measured temperature and CO2 emissions.

“The believers in this hypothesis are not able to explain why the global temperature increased from 1918 to 1940, decreased from 1940 to 1976, increased from 1976 to 1998 and decreased from 1998 to the present, irrespective of the fact that people have been adding increasing amounts of CO2 to the atmosphere.”

He said global warming alarmists “want to change us and our behavior. Their ambition is to control and manipulate us.”

The global warming debate “has not made any detectable progress and the much needed, long overdue exchange of views has not yet started. All we see and hear are uninspiring monologues.

“It reminds me of the frustration people like me felt in the Communist era. Whatever you said, any convincing and well prepared arguments you used, any relevant data you assembled — no reaction. It all fell into emptiness. Nobody listened.

“They didn’t even try to argue back. They considered you a naive, uninformed and confused person, an eccentric, a complainer, someone not able to accept their only truth. It is very similar now.”

Recalling his experience at the recent World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, he said he spent three hours at a closed session with about 60 people – heads of state and “experts” like Al Gore, Tony Blair and Kofi Annan.

“It was a discouraging experience. You looked around in vain to find at least one person who would share your views. There was no one.

“All the participants of the meeting took man-made global warming for granted, were convinced of its dangerous consequences, and more or less competed in one special discipline — whether to suggest a 20, 30, 50 or 80 percent CO2 emissions cut as an agreed-upon, world-wide project. It was difficult to say anything meaningful and constructive.”

Newsmax reported earlier that during the Davos conference in January, Klaus said: “I’m very sorry that some people like Al Gore are not ready to listen to the competing theories. I do listen to them.

“Environmentalism and the global warming alarmism is challenging our freedom. Al Gore is an important person in this movement.”

Klaus concluded in New York: “The environmentalists speak about ‘saving the planet.’ From what? And from whom? One thing I know for sure: We have to save it – and us — from them.”

I have mixed feelings about this. But we certainly can’t sign on to anything that our competition doesn’t sign onto.

    That would be economic suicide.

  28. patriotamy Says:

I see the ‘global warming’ issue as another way of controlling the masses. Electric grids are being updated with ‘two way’ controls. No longer need meter readers. How convenient, but it also gives the electric company the capacity of controlling the temperature in one’s home.

Oh, my.. must have different way to protect the world. Let’s see. Carbon emmission control. Hmmmmm another way of controlling the masses. Tax them on their carbon imprint.

I don’t know, just my humble opinion.

Hey Obama, Buy Stocks — Not Toxic Assets

    March 15, 2009 02:37 PM ET

    So here’s an idea:

Maybe Uncle Sam should be letting Americans use their payroll tax contributions to buy stocks since they’re suddenly such a great bargain.

That would probably be a far better use of our dough than having Team Obama take our tax money to buy toxic debt from bank balance sheets.

Heck, an adjustment to mark-to-market accounting rules and a favorably sloping yield curve (good for bank earnings) may well mean the best financial rescue plan right now is no plan at all.

And if there is one thing we know Treasury Secretary Geithner can do well it’s is a give speech where tells people the government doesn’t have a plan.

    But be warned:

Washington doesn’t have a good track record with market calls.

Recall that Alan Greenspan was three years and 5000 Dow points too early with his “irrational exuberance” speech.

And being early is the same as being wrong when it comes to investing.

    Just ask yourself this:

Does the direction of taxes, spending and inflation make you more or less positive about the direction of the economy?

Are stocks the sale of the century or merely in the middle of a longer liquidation phase?

The Bottomless Budget Pit Of Barack Obama

Politico.com reports the entire Adminstration and Obama campaign organization is being mobilized to push the president’s destructive and recession-prolonging budget. But, the article notes:

This is not an easy message war for Democrats.

Obama’s budget calls for the largest deficit in U.S. history and a doubling of the national debt to $23 trillion in 2019.

That is a big, juicy target for the GOP, which plans to hit this theme relentlessly all spring.

Doubling the national debt in a decade.

Global Warming and The Endangered Species Act

Had the oil-and-gas industry brought suit, for example, to oblige a small airport expansion to conduct a Section 7 consultation, it could have begun to build a defense against overreaching by the Act’s most aggressive proponents.

Instead it has ceded the legal initiative to the very capable lawyers at the Center for Biological Diversity and other groups, and the rollout of

    the prevent-global-warming-via-the-ESA strategy is beginning.

The impact on energy production across the U.S. will be to sharply curtail new exploration and production and to greatly increase the cost of existing production.

Every time a federal permit is proposed that will facilitate energy production –or any carbon-releasing activity for that matter– environmental activists will argue that an ESA mandated permitting process is required.

This process, called a Section 7 consultation, is very time-consuming and mandates necessary “mitigations” that are imposed on the sought-after permit.

Landowners have learned how to negotiate this regulatory maze in the past two decades, but the vast expansion of jurisdiction foreseen by the advocates of the polar bear and related listings

will greatly increase the scope of the Act’s reach and the workload on the Fish & Wildlife Service, not to mention the cost of each permit if a cost can even be calculated.

All of this fallout was easy to predict at the time the Bush Adminstration listed the polar bear last year, but the coverage of the controversy has resolutely refused to explain to the public

the enormous price tag it will be paying for the use of ice coverage models in the listing process that were at best speculative and at worse wildly so.

  43. rosettasister Says:

    Is anti-Zionism hate?

Yes. It is more dangerous than anti-Semitism, threatening lives and peace in the Middle East.

Given this understanding of Jewish nationhood, anti-Zionism is in many ways more dangerous than anti-Semitism.

First, anti-Zionism targets the most vulnerable part of the Jewish people, namely, the Jewish population of Israel, whose physical safety and personal dignity depend crucially on maintaining Israel’s sovereignty. Put bluntly, the anti-Zionist plan to do away with Israel condemns 5 1/2 million human beings, mostly refugees or children of refugees, to eternal defenselessness in a region where genocidal designs are not uncommon.

Secondly, modern society has developed antibodies against anti-Semitism but not against anti-Zionism. Today, anti-Semitic stereotypes evoke revulsion in most people of conscience, while anti-Zionist rhetoric has become a mark of academic sophistication and social acceptance in certain extreme yet vocal circles of U.S. academia and media elite. Anti-Zionism disguises itself in the cloak of political debate, exempt from sensitivities and rules of civility that govern inter-religious discourse, to attack the most cherished symbol of Jewish identity.

Finally, anti-Zionist rhetoric is a stab in the back to the Israeli peace camp, which overwhelmingly stands for a two-state solution. It also gives credence to enemies of coexistence who claim that the eventual elimination of Israel is the hidden agenda of every Palestinian.

It is anti-Zionism, then, not anti-Semitism that poses a more dangerous threat to lives, historical justice and the prospects of peace in the Middle East.

    March 13, 2009

Why would America subject a close ally to this dynamic, playing with the security of an unvarying supporter in world affairs? For America, Israel’s intelligence-sharing, military cooperation and significant bilateral economic ties, among many others, are important national-security assets that should not lightly be put at risk.

The only understandable answer is that the Obama administration believes that Israel is as much or more of a problem as it is an ally, at least until Israel’s disagreements with its neighbors are resolved. Instead of seeing Israel as a national-security asset, the administration likely sees a relationship complicating its broader policy of diplomatic “outreach.”

No one will say so publicly, but this is the root cause of Obama’s “Arab-Israeli issues first” approach to the region.

This approach is exactly backward. All the other regional problems would still exist even if Mahmoud Ahmadinejad got his fondest wish and Israel disappeared from the map: Iran’s nuclear-weapons program, its role as the world’s central banker for terrorism, the Sunni-Shiite conflict within Islam, Sunni terrorist groups like al Qaeda and other regional ethnic, national and political animosities would continue as threats and risks for decades to come.

Instead, the US focus should be on Iran and the manifold threats it poses to Israel, to Arab states friendly to Washington and to the United States itself – but that is not to be.

President Obama argues that he will deal comprehensively with the entire region. Rhetoric is certainly his specialty, but in the Middle East rhetoric only lasts so long.

Performance is the real measure – and the administration’s performance to date points in only one direction: pressuring Israel while wooing Iran.

Others in the world – friend and foe alike – will draw their own conclusions.

Thrilling news! Here, for the first time in this country, is the official Anthem to Emperor Also Known As the First. I wish I could take credit for composing it myself. That honor belongs to Gerald Warner, London Daily Telegraph, to whom you should send kudos. I sang a couple of verses, to the tune of the Battle Hymn of the Republic, on my daily talk show, the Sting of Stang. Although one commentator did say I should not give up my day job, all the others were complimentary indeed. One of them, who is running for President, says he will put my rendition on disk and use it as his official campaign theme. (I am available for solo gigs at rock concerts.) Here then, the Emperor Anthem:

Mine eyes have been bedazzled by the coming of The One:
    He is doling out the dollars that the suckers’ toil has won;
He is doling out the dollars and he’s only just begun –
    The pork tub’s rolling on.
    Glory, glory to Obama!
    Glory, glory to Obama!
    Glory, glory to Obama!
    The pork tub’s rolling on.

A billion bucks for Amtrak and four billion more for those
    Who are ramping up the franchise as the ACORN project grows;
Three hundred million extra for poor souls who’ve caught a dose –
    The pork tub’s rolling on.
    Don’tcha just love stimulation!
    Don’tcha just love stimulation!
    Economic simulation –
    The barrel’s rolling on.

There’s tax cuts for illegals, while six billion dollars mean
    We can save the whole darn planet, turning public buildings green;
A big handout for Hollywood – who thinks that that’s obscene?
    The pork tub’s rolling on.
Change we need is in the pipeline!
Change we need is in the pipeline!
Wealth and comfort all our lifetime!
    The pork tub’s rolling on.

Forget the Grand Old Party we were surely wise to spurn,
    For Obama is our saviour, he has cash enough to burn;
If you’re puzzled, Mr Geithner – that strange form’s a tax return.
    The pork tub’s rolling on.

Huckabee is going to Indiana next week. He wants to meet people making a change in your area…JAC you would be a perfect candidate to write in.

Im looking into a generator. I found one that has a solar panel, with gas back-up. It was pricey at $750.00 but I really like the solar feature…you never know if gas will be as hard to come by as water.

When I lost my electricity in December for almost a week after a nasty ice storm, it was impossible to buy a generator. most all of New England lost power and the generators were gone in 24 hour. I called 300 miles away and couldnt track one down….some people were gauging selling used construction generators for thousands of dollars….it was wild.
I got lucky with a good friend who worked for the train station in Boston and I was loaned one….let me tell you, a generator is near necessity when powers down. You just dont realize how much you depend on it.
we ran our refrigerator, pellets and various lights etc…without one we would have burst all our plumbing pipes and been forced to leave our home.
also I made the mistake of buying a pellet stove….don’t do it!!! they are way too expensive to run…you can ONLY use pellets and you HAVE to have electricity….they will not run without power….useless. I will definitely be buying a wood stove again this year…I have 200 acres of conservation land in my back yard…the wood to burn would last me lifetimes…and its not $8 bucks a bag like pellets!!!

I’ll update on the quality when I get delivery. It actually has good pricing when you look into buying those more expensive seeds at the coverage rate they are giving you. I also like the idea of being able to bury the container in the ground for safety. I am looking forward to getting my garden growing soon as the weather allows here.

I tell him this is my daily newspaper, and truly it has replaced it. I no longer listen to or read any msm. It’s funny how people will say things like “you can’t believe anything you read on the internet.” If they only knew how little they can believe from the msm.

Thank you and all the regulars here for all the information. I routinely give your URL to people to check out. I’ve posted it on my facebook, and I’ve sent it to numerous people by e:mail. I’ve given it to my coworkers. Just wanted you to know that I am sure there are many many others out there like me that read this blog regularly. Someone sent Dr. Orly a recording of her conversation with Justice Roberts.

    [audio src="http://media.spokesman.com/audio_clips/2009/03/robertstaitz.mp3" /]

Notice the commotion in the background toward the end of her statement. It definitely brought about some chatter. Probably some sneering skeptics, but I’m sure there were also people who were hearing the subject for the first time. Hopefully that’s 800 or more people who will be interested enough to do a little research, and then pass on what they discover. Don’t know what Roberts will do about this, but at the very least, Orly has enlighted a large crowd of people and that is definitely a good thing.

I cannot believe no one in the media is reporting on O’s National Security Force plan. I think this may be a topic that would wake-up those sleep walking through life. He brought it up again this week. I knew coming from the military that the armed forces would never be the group to control the American public (too many Patriots), so another force would be necessary. Take a look at this link and listen to Levin’s radio comments.

    Obama’s Left Turn

Centrists fear that the president’s budget reveals his liberal leanings.

    Saturday, March 7, 2009
    by Stuart Taylor

… it is with regret that I now worry that (Obama) may be deepening what looks more and more like a depression and may engineer so much spending, debt, and government control of the economy as to leave most Americans permanently less prosperous and less free.

This is not to deny that the liberal wish list in Obama’s staggering $3.6 trillion budget would be wonderful if we had limitless resources. But in the real world, it could put vast areas of the economy under permanent government mismanagement, kill millions of jobs, drive investors and employers overseas, and bankrupt the nation.

j.b. – I totally agree with you on Shepard Smith. I used to say he could take a totally boring story and turn it into the most important thing you’d ever want to hear. The change in what we hear and see from him started in New Orleans – he lost alot of professional credibility on that event.

What little bit he had left was completely destroyed for me after Nov. 4th. I turn off FOX whenever he’s on now. This latest whining he’s doing about Beck just shows how clueless or biased he is. Beck’s popularity has exploded because people are BEGGING for the MSM to show some integrity in reporting the whole story. Even Beck isn’t there yet, but he’s closer than anything else out there, and that’s why his ratings are going through the roof.

With all the various mainstream media outlets losing money, or listeners, or readership, or viewers, you’d think they’d figure out that if they just did their jobs with integrity, people would be flocking to them. I guess they don’t need us because when the going gets tough, the Obama thugs will just bail them out with our tax money.

Greatest threat to Obama spending plan? Moderate Dems

Two other factors are also making Democrats nervous:

Upcoming Congressional Budget Office projections and an increasingly loud Republican drumbeat about spending.

By Friday, CBO is expected to release a preliminary analysis of Obama’s budget plan, as well as its revised economic and deficit projections.

The new data will consider the $410 billion fiscal 2009 spending bill signed into law last week and new, more pessimistic economic indicators.

That’s likely to mean a deficit prediction even bigger than the $1.7 trillion fiscal 2009 figure Obama has been using.

The deficit is expected to reach 12.3 percent of GDP this year.

(According to Strategas Group, at least 13.5 percent of GDP)

Obama’s budget has deficits dropping to 3 percent of Gross Domestic Product by 2013, and staying at that level through 2019.

Conrad said he is “prepared” to get new data from CBO showing future year deficit ratios closer to 4 percent.

Wishful thinking! FY 2010 already at 8.0 (will be higher).

And predicting that FY 2013 will be a little worse (from 3.0 to 4.0). We’ll see!

So Obama’s unlucky enough to inherit a FY2009 deficit of 8.3 percent of GDP, and unwise enough to throw caution to the wind and make things substantially worse.

Remember, the only other time in our history we’ve run deficits this high was the WWII years.

I have to disagree. Where did that come from?

The military is not what is portrayed in the movies or in books. The guys we know and served with are cream of the crop. Patriots to the core. They are now getting their stars and commanding the best and the brightest. It is a professional volunteer fighting force and they will do the right thing. They are our last best hope to stop this nonsense.

The only reason I sleep well is because I know they are out there watching our backs. The military men and women in uniform are not serving us in war time because they are bullies or are feeding their control freak natures.

    They deserve our respect.

very great article interesting particularly at the bottom….hmmmmm

Thank you and let’s keep working until Obama resigns or until he is removed.
Thank you all for your beautiful, warm words of support. It really touched my heart to read some 160 comments that were posted so far. Thank you for your prayers. Those kept me safe so far and hopefully will keep me safe in the future. It is interesting that completely deranged Obama thugs are now posting messages on the blogs saying that this meeting never happened and Roberts doesn’t have Secret Service protection. It is particularly laughable in light of the fact that their own leftist liberal newspaper Seattle Observer posted an article confirming the event, my presence there, my plea to Roberts and his request to give the papers to his Secret Service. (it is on this blog below). Albeit they twisted my words and the reaction of the audience, they confirmed that I was there, they stated that I have brought documents of Obama’s lack of eligibility and letters of half a million citizens and Roberts told me to give the documents to the Secret Service.
After the event a number of students and professors have approached me and stated that it was an example of devotion and zealous advocacy, they commended me on it, they have given me their names and asked how can they help. Most of them stated that I had more guts then 99 percent of the people.
We have to move on and continue our research, lobbying politicians and demanding action from our law enforcement and judiciary. Please, let’s work together to end this nightmare of illegal and criminal activity, surrounding Obama, as soon as possible:
    1. I need your help in sending by certified mail with my return address letters to Attorney Generals of each state, demanding immediate criminal investigation, Grand Jury and subpoena of records
    2. Demanding quo warranto proceedings by every US attorney and criminal investigation, Grand Jury and subpoenas
    3. Demand Judicial hearings and subpoena of records by the State and US Representatives and Senators.
    4. Looking for decent judges with some guts that would issue subpoenas
    5. Federal employees joining us and requesting that all of their federal agencies demand Obama’s proof odf qualification or immediate resignation or removal, as Federal employees cannot be true to their oath to uphold the Constitution with Foreign National usurping the White House
    6. Each and every member of the military should write 138 grievance to Secretary Gates, Chief of Staff Mullen and all their commanding officers, demanding that Obama proves his qualifications or is removed from the position of Commander in Chief ASAP .
    7. I need to get in touch with Martin Didier that has written articles in Chicago about the mob laundering stolen or otherwise illegal money through fictitious mortgages. that might explain all of the fictitious addresses and social security numbers for Obama in databases
8.I need to get in touch with people running Intelius, Jobs.com, Lexis Nexis and Choice Point. I need to get info on how do they collect data, from what sources.
    9. I need as many articles as possible about 3 or 4 gay men, members of Trinity church that were found shot to death in a period of 45 days in the beginning of Democrat primary November-December 2007.
    10. I need info on Magic Plumbing aka Burlew Plumbing and the lean they had on the house of Kelly Mc Crum Robinson- Michelle Obama’s sister in law. I also need actual news paper articles about Magic Plumbing doing maintenance of sprinkler system in the World trade Center on 09.05.2001 and the articles from Nashville TN news papers about one of Magic Plumbing employees being arrested with a person working in the Nashville TN DMV who was accused of issuing fraudulent drivers licenses. (a woman, that later died under questionable circumstances).
Please move fast, material is being scrubbed of the Internet awfully fast, you may need to go to the libraries and get actual papers or go to state and National Archives.
Together we can end this nightmare soon.
Thank you again for all your help, Orly

    IMF: A Good ‘Bad Bank’?

Parmy Olson, 03.16.09, 9:50 AM ET

While the G-20 was short on detail about how it would deal with banks’ toxic assets, Global Insight economist Jan Randolph believes that finance ministers may be setting the stage for their heads of state, at their larger G-20 meeting in April,

to extend the IMF’s function, perhaps towards even taking on the role of a so-called bad bank:

    Crappie Mae?!

“Logic suggests the IMF should be given the additional function of managing bad assets.”

With the situation so urgent, it would make sense to extend the role of a global institution that already exists, rather than create a whole new one, he added.

BUT, I also came across many “i just wanta play Army” people..those are the bullys

It will take a Civilian National Security Force or some other outside force to bring in a NWO. Anyone in uniform will defend this great nation with everything in them. That is why O keeps talking about his new force. Take a look at the links I posted. Levin is spot on.
