Had my mojo cooperated, I would have put up a post on the following:

    Fleming opposes mortgage legislation

A news release from Fleming’s office said the legislation would bring a rise in interest rates, tightened lending requirements and higher down payments, making the dream of home ownership an impossibility for millions.

“It appropriate they’ve called this the cram down bill, because liberal leadership is cramming this bill down the throats of the American people. This bill rewards the bad decisions of some by punishing the 90% of Americans who have been accountable, tightened their belts and made their mortgage payments during tough economic times.” said Fleming.

“This broad stroke bill allows the court system to modify home mortgages. Giving judges the power to arbitrarily change the terms of a mortgage is not the direction we need to go in this country. Home buyers will be forced to pay higher interest rates and down payments if lenders face the risk that a judge could change mortgage terms in the future. It was the meddling in the mortgage industry by Congress that helped start this economic mess in the first place. Continued efforts by Congress to reward unwise financial decisions will keep the dream of affordable home ownership unattainable for many responsible citizens for years to come.”

Earlier post I put up when I was trying to wrap my head around just what it means to “cram down.”

‘cram down’ the mortgage 101 — new legislation that would allow U.S. judges to modify mortgages for people in bankruptcy

this is interesting from linda starr:

I am done with all the lies, false accusations, trashing and vicious crap that has been done to me since January by certain people around here. They tell me my services are no longer needed and I am not welcome here. I spent all these months doing nothing but working my butt off for Phil and this cause and I’m out. No expalanations except for more lies told about me…and Phil won’t even talk to me after over a 10 year friendship!! How’s that one? Lisa wants the trolls to take over and everyone knows Phil jumps to her tune, or so she tells it.

Funny, I was going to leave a comment addressed to you here. I was reading your comments at obamacrimes earlier tonight. Thought your concise summary was great. I wonder what happened with Linda Starr. (sigh) If Foxtrot were still here….

I thought it was weird, though, that some of the obamacrime commenters who had been banned, started posting again within the last few days. I’m sure Pseudonym had been banned and I thought Author was too. Also, what happened to Philadelphia Roof Doctor? Does he still post at countryfirst? It’s obvious SOMETHING major changed. Linda Starr saying that Lisa “wants the trolls to take over” is very strange.

  14. sba1872 Says:

  15. Tenacity Says:

I felt like Starr was detrimental to Berg’s reputation. Berg has held to his talking points pretty well. Starr wanted everything to happen quick and led people on. That results in distrust. Lisa is known as being very competent and a very hard worker. Lisa seems to be the backbone and stability in that operation. Starr was entertaining at times, but the net results of being a loose cannon is worse than zilch.

  16. Tenacity Says:

Just for the record: in the past I believed Berg was in left field about 9/11. Now I take him and others a lot more seriously. There may be some real merit to the assertions. I like my tin foil shiny and multi-colored tyvm.

“The goal of socialism is communism.”

“The best way to destroy the capitalist system is to debauch the currency.”

“The way to crush the bourgeoisie is to grind them between the millstones of taxation and inflation.”

“A lie told often enough becomes truth.”

“The press should be not only a collective propagandist and a collective agitator, but also a collective organizer of the masses.”

“There are no morals in politics; there is only expedience. A scoundrel may be of use to us just because he is a scoundrel.”

“To rely upon conviction, devotion, and other excellent spiritual qualities; that is not to be taken seriously in politics.”

Svali states that demons were present during the training sessions where time travel and shape shifting were experimented with. She admits that these incidents were often drug induced and could well have been hallucinations. Anyone experiencing demons that have not accepted or understand the spiritual realm may perceive demons to be aliens. She also describes these sessions as out of body experiences…or happening in the spiritual rather than physical. I view this much like dinosaurs being referred to in folk lore as dragons. Angels v. aliens. I don’t see the need to accept the semantics of people whose minds have been messed up. Its like the fossil record, it demonstrates stasis and extinction, but is represented as evolution. Scripture testifies to the spirit realms, but not to extra terrestrials. I would need substantial proof to accept such and I have never seen that proof.

Svali also mentions the presence of demons when psychic phenomena has occurred as well…like psychic killing or telekinesis. We also know that demons have the ability to appear human.

  28. Tenacity Says:

Keep in mind that fear is often used as a conditioning agent in ritual abuse training. If a trainer can’t or doesn’t want to present a real image, they fake it to induce the frightful image required. I see no reason why holographics would not be used in some of these experiments like the Montauk Project.

Actually, I want to take back my last comment. I fully believe (now and at the risk of sounding like a whiney Bush hater from the 2000 election and I don’t care) the 2008 election was totally RIGGED.

I agree 200% about the election being rigged. Let us count the ways…

    *Early voting
*Absentee ballots (I’ve heard snowbirds here brag about voting twice – once at the polls locally, and by absentee ballot in their home state)
*No Voter ID (How many illegals voted? And how many times? How many times did Mickey Mouse vote? How ’bout those Dallas Cowboys in Nevada? How many military ballots were thrown out again???)
*Community organizers “helping” seniors in nursing homes, as well as the mentally disabled, cast votes
*These community organizers also made sure to register as many convicted felons and jailbirds as possible
*Black Panthers and such intimidating (White) voters at polling places

And let’s not forget the fraud and intimidation at the caucus’ in the Democrat primaries that turned so many Hillary Democrats against Obama long before the general election – that officials refused to investigate or remedy.

And God only knows what else….

Obama never won an election fairly before the 2008 election, and he sure didn’t win this election fairly either. But he didn’t do it alone. It was well coordinated and manipulated, and he had help in high and low places.

Presented by Interthinx, Fraud Bytes is a look at news in the mortgage industry.

  31. rosettasister Says:

Anger management — Some Americans are getting as mad as hell

The biggest cause of anger is Mr Obama’s willingness to bail out everyone with a tin cup, from bankrupt bankers to incompetent carmakers to over-their-ears mortgage-holders. People who have borrowed prudently and lived within their means are livid that they are being asked to bail out neighbours who splurged on McMansions and giant televisions. Rick Santelli, a previously obscure TV journalist, became a folk hero when he complained that Americans were being made to “subsidise the losers’ mortgages”.

There is also mounting fury, among centrists as well as conservatives, about Mr Obama’s budget, with its mixture of tax hikes for the wealthy and ambitious plans for regulating greenhouse gases and extending the government’s role in health care. Larry Kudlow, a television journalist who is contemplating challenging Chris Dodd for his Connecticut Senate seat, says that Mr Obama is “declaring war on investors, entrepreneurs, small businesses, large corporations and private equity and venture-capital funds”. Many former supporters worry that Mr Obama is treating the economic crisis rather as George Bush treated September 11th—as a convenient excuse for pursuing a long-held ideological agenda.

Anger seethes about the fact that so many big-government Democrats mysteriously lose their appetite for taxes when it comes to paying them themselves. This week saw the revelation that yet another of Mr Obama’s nominees, Ron Kirk, the would-be trade representative, underpaid his taxes in 2005-07. But above all, people are angry that Mr Obama led them down the garden path. Bipartisanship? He is proposing one of the most liberal budgets in decades. Abolishing earmarks? The budget contains 8,570 of them. Honesty? The finance, property and insurance industries (all getting huge bail-outs) were the largest source of campaign contributions to Mr Obama after lawyers. Transcending racism? Eric Holder, the attorney-general, has accused Americans of being cowards when it comes to discussing race.

  32. Troy Says:

These assholes will stop at nothing.

  33. rosettasister Says:

“In the meantime Republican Governor Linda Lingle continues to refuse to allow anyone to see the original birth certificate of President Barack Obama, although a copy of it was photographed for the press.”

  34. rosettasister Says:

Larry Kudlow on “the bankruptcy-judge cram-down”

Then there’s the bankruptcy-judge cram-down, which would allow the courts to renegotiate interest rates and loan principal.

This would abrogate private contracts and throw out the rule of law.

Do we think future investors will put up mortgage capital if they fear judges will overturn the terms of contracts?

Home-loan supplies will fall and mortgage rates will rise.

  35. Troy Says:

Um, does anyone else here believe (as does George Green) that the puppet masters are Aliens?
    Cuz, I’m just sayin’; I don’t.
Jb, I’m quite familiar with George Green and in my opinion, while he is privy to some inside info, a large portion of what he says is bunk….However, he is spot on with somethings he speaks of….Illuminati space aliens?…Nope!!!

  36. rosettasister Says:

Judges won’t “run wild” on cramdowns?

The article also quotes Judge Sam Bufford of the Los Angeles bankruptcy court, who seems to have “an imperfect understanding” of how the bailout works:

What’s more, the legislation would put the costs of reworking mortgages entirely on the private sector, quelling a rising tide of anger among Americans watching the government throw taxpayer dollars at banks and consumers, he said.

“There is not a penny of government money needed to do it at the time when Congress is wondering where is the bottom of this pit, of pumping billions into the economy,” he said.

While the judge acknowledges that cramdowns impose losses on the private sector, he seems blissfully unaware of the purpose of the hundreds of billions in “government money” (which is, of course, taxpayer money) being poured in the “pit:” to prevent their losses from pulling them under.

The judges may have inadvertently provided more ammunition to opponents of cramdowns than to their supporters.

UPDATE: A post on the Mortgage Insider blog

also notes the Reuters article, but there’s a good back-and-forth regarding cramdowns in the comments.

  37. ddlew2 Says:

So do you think we don’t live in a police state? Are the cops out of control?

This is a story from a local Dallas/Fort Worth TV news station.

It seems the Sherif’s department raided a few “ALLEGED” illegal gambling businesses in Fort Worth, TX.

Pretty much a straight forward story right?? Well read the Sheriff’s reasoning for the event. They did NOT arrest anyone in the building on gambling charges NOR did they arrest the owners for running the businesses. No one is charged with a crime yet the Sherrif states that they are more interested in confiscating and destroying the machines in hopes of putting them out of business. He specifically states that this is the prefered way of dealing with the issue because trials are time consuming and THE CHARGES MAY NOT STICK!

So we have citizens, who by admission of law enforcement may not be guilty of a crime, having their personal possessions siezed and destroyed by law enforcement agents, and being put out of business when THEY HAVEN’T BEEN CHARGED WITH ANY VIOLATION OF THE LAW!!! Where is this country headed???!!!

i was just “visited” by 3 secret service agents in my home! actually, they were very cordial, although one of them watched me like a hawk and took copious notes of my answers to their questions.

yjey, as well as other government agencies, monitor the internet, phone conversations, textmessages, etc. looking for certain key words that they red flag. apparantly, some of those key words have come up in some of my postings, so they say.

whether taken out of context or not, whether posted as a joke or not, and whether posted as a threat or not, be very very careful what you post and how you word it.

they even searched my house! bottom line is, i’ve effectively been “gagged” as far as being able to express myself using my Constitutional Rights, so the liberal left has won again.

but, of course, some of the tactics they use might not stand up in the “court of public opinion”.

i have much more to say about this, but i dare not go into it on the internet, as i know that they are monitoring me very closely now.

    Bonehead Of The Day

Wow! A Republican two days in a row.

We may want to rethink that 2010 optimism….

Sen. Jon Kyl, R-Ariz., has referred constituents raising concerns over President Obama’s eligibility to occupy the Oval Office to an online “fact” organization that relies for its answer partly on information from the Obama campaign.

The response from Kyl to a voter who asked about Obama’s ability to meet the constitutional requirements for president said:

Thank you for your recent e-mail. Senator Obama meets the constitutional requirements for presidential office. Rumors pertaining to his citizenship status have been circulating on the Internet, and this information has been debunked by, which investigates the truth behind Internet rumors.

We’ve previously debunked partisan Snopes here, so the sophistry in Senator Kyl’s statements are borne of arrogance and ignorance; unfortunate traits in abundance on Capitol Hill , and an ugly combination coming from a man with power.

Slowly but surely, the hollowness that defines this President is being revealed.

Chin up America. It ain’t over yet.

  42. ddlew2 Says:

We may as well give up on the politicians. No one, and I mean NO ONE, on Capitol Hill wants to be the “hateful, racist, biggot” that’s tried to take the president down on his birth certificate issue, OR ANY OTHER ISSUE FOR THAT MATTER. These guys are all the same. They are worried ONLY about themselves and how they are perceived by the average voter (not the kooky conspiracy theorists on the internet). Whether they believe the allegations against the president are true or not, they aren’t willing to put their careers and power in jeapordy over them.

That’s why this is up to us, the American Citizen. Our votes are the only voice we have, and they just aren’t loud enough for those in power to care about.

  43. rosettasister Says:

Obviously the powers that be would like for us to just forget about it and let it be. Not likely!

Judge: Eligibility issue thoroughly ‘twittered’ — Dismisses case brought by retired military officer

But is Obama actually constitutionally qualified? It’s been “twittered,” Robertson said, while also requiring the plaintiffs attorneys to explain why they shouldn’t be penalized financially for having raised the legal question. “Twitter” is a brand name for an Internet technology that allows participants to post brief reports on their daily activities and observations.

The court’s deflection of attention from the central issue of producing verification of Obama’s citizenship mirrors the response many Congress members have given concerned constituents.

  44. rosettasister Says:

Obama on the side of ORGANIZED CRIME

The first task in need of explanation is why would Hawaii aid a known illegal of British birth in illegally obtaining a fake birth certificate?

The answer is in 1961 the American public had not yet been herded by Teddy Kennedy and socialists into providing welfare benefits to illegals.

Hawaii had a large population of illegals who were slave labor, but were a huge burden to the system in poverty and crime.

The Hawaiian answer, as it was a Democratic state and still is was to start registering all those foreign kids by the thousands.

The purpose being to tap into all those federal hundreds of millions then which would profit the state.

See all of those poverty programs flowed funds into the pockets of the retailers as the golden goose pipeline.

If one makes citizens out of illegals, then Hawaii converts a debt into their asset in obtaining more funds and growing the socialist system which empowers Democratic liberals.

The fact is there are hundreds of thousands of Barack Obama’s registered in Hawaii.

Do you think even a Republican governor sitting on this explosive mess wants any of this coming out?

Some things happened last night. Some things that many of you are not aware of. Linda Star for the reasons she gave that have been removed from the posting here has decided to leave the blog for now. This is unfortunate that the events of such an evening as the one last night caused Linda to make the decision to leave. We wish her well. Some things posted on this Forum from last night where removed and again some things that have continued to be put up from last night are being removed as well.

It is unfortunate that some things where put here in print that should should have been discussed in private. This site is the property of Phil Berg and it is not our intention to focus on what happened last night but rather move on and wish Linda well. We have not dismissed Linda and her contributions to date, as for now our goals are still the same as they have been all along and will remain so.

Again we wish Linda well and we appreciate the continued support from our many supporters here.

It is the same as my conflict with Phillip Berg. Personally, I do not believe the 911 conspiracy crap (anyone that does does, I highly recommend you read Popular Mechanics in depth research and subsequent article on it) but I am (obviously) supportive of his work to reveal Bary Soetoro.
