Someone is calling

by

someone-is-calling

Outside
The storm clouds gathering,
Moved silently along the dusty boulevard.
Where flowers turning crane their fragile necks
So they can in turn
Reach up and kiss the sky.

They are driven by a strange desire
Unseen by the human eye
Someone is calling.

I remember when you held my hand
In the park we would play when the circus came to town.
Look! Over here.

Outside
The circus gathering
Moved silently along the rainswept boulevard.
The procession moved on the shouting is over
The fabulous freaks are leaving town.

They are driven by a strange desire
Unseen by the human eye.
The carinval is over.

We sat and watched
As the moon rose again
For the very first time.

This letter was just posted over on Citizen Wells blog. Sam Rohrer is a state rep. from Pennsylvania. After reading this letter, I found his website.

He’s got an excellent video on his website explaining the 10th Amendment and what is happening there. For those of you who want to contact your state reps. and senators, this is an excellent, simple explanation to understand the 10th Amendment.

This is an email recieved from State Representative, Sam Rohrer. **********************************************************

    Sorry Mr. President:
It’s More Than a Healthy Difference of Opinion!

Just the other day, our newly elected President Obama, made the bizarre statement that the anger he is hearing from individuals across America and the disapproving statements emanating from some in Congress against the recent “Economic Stimulus Bill” is not really an issue. According to our President, “It’s only a healthy difference of opinion.”

To that I say, hogwash. Healthy (but unimportant) differences of opinion? These are serious questions: Economic Stimulus or a Bankrupting de-Stimulus? Wise investment or disastrous debt? New Deal or Raw Deal? Prudent planning or central planning? Nationalization or free-enterprise? Socialism or capitalism? Transparency or Chicago politics? Promises kept or promises broken? Inspiring leadership or blatant power-grabbing? Shall I go on?

These contrasts are not just differences of opinion, but foundational distinctions between honesty and deception, between freedom and tyranny, between the rule of law and the law of raw power. Yes, between good and evil. I am embarrassed and angered at this naked expansion of government and the Obama promise that this “mammoth package is just the beginning”

No, my friends. We are beyond simple differences of opinion. We’re into core values, to matters of conviction of principle and philosophy. We’re into those things that force grown men to the point where they are compelled to say “Enough is enough” and to draw the line, to stand up or risk being untrue to themselves and their families.

I have longed and prayed that this President would indeed bring some good change, the kind that could bring us closer together as a nation. The kind that would produce leadership marked with reason, wisdom and prudence. The kind that would strengthen the candle of freedom and restore the moral strength that marks the America we all love. But, act after act, decision after decision, and arrogant comment after arrogant comment has erased all hope for any “good” change, and this in just a matter of weeks.

And what convinced me beyond all doubt of the change intended by our Commander in Chief were his carefully chosen comments this past Thursday. It was Lincoln’s birthday – a day to celebrate the birth of a loved President. Obama used the occasion to appropriate the image of our 16th President to himself and to shamelessly compare his unconstitutional move into socialism to the ending of slavery and the uniting of a divided nation. As bad as this was, our President blatantly reached back to our Founding Fathers seeking to ascribe to himself the remembrance of those who were willing to sacrifice their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor for our Constitution and for our freedom. When the Constitution was ratified, a woman asked Benjamin Franklin what we now had. His comment: “you now have a republic, if you can keep it.” Franklin’s inspiring words of warning were surgically lifted by our President and fraudulently applied to himself in justification of the Stimulus Plan. As I heard him say, “my actions on this stimulus plan are necessary to preserve our republic!” I could just hear Franklin and Jefferson and the others scream out from the grave.

When I heard this statement I became utterly convinced that we are not watching a man who is still seeking truth with whom we should give the benefit of the doubt. No, I am left with the firm conclusion that we are watching an intelligent, strategic, and miss-directed man. A man focused on himself. A man who is willing to re-define the most holy and sacred concepts of freedom and liberty to justify the most unholy and most enslaving actions that marked the very tyranny that our Founders opposed. This shouts out to me, and I hope to you, the reasons we must look for opportunities to “draw the line” and to “stand up”.

More to you later on how. Feel free to get back to me with how you feel we can best “Stand Up.”

    For the Cause of Liberty,

    State Representative Sam Rohrer
    District 128 – Berks County

    Dear Mr. Eller,

Thanks for your kind words of support. It has become clear that the Congress is derelict in duty (not reading the porkulus bill), the federal government ignores the Constitution, and the President acquiesces to it all. The Supreme Court, in refusing to have the President prove his qualifications for office through his citizenship, is doing a great disservice to this country. If there is ANY question to the status of the person holding the highest office in the land, it must be throughly reviewed, not swept under the rug. Why would Obama be so resistant to providing all records if he has nothing to hide? Silence and lawyer threats are tantamount to a tacit admission of guilt.

Letters Needed to The World Over with Raymond Arroyo, in EWTN

    Dear Citizens,

We need to get Orly on TV, one show at a time.

Unfortunately only a very small minority of American citizens know that Obama is not a Natural Born Citizen, and we, you and me, need to change that PRONTO.

The first TV show for Orly should be The World Over with Raymond Arroyo, in EWTN. Orly told me that she would love to appear in that show. Why that show? It is outside the networks, it has over 100 million viewers worldwide, tens of millions of viewers in the United States , and the host, Raymond Arroyo, is unapologetically critical of Obama.

Mr. Arroyo has opened the doors for us, especially for us. At the end of his last show, he said that once a month he will interview one guest selected by the viewers via email. Thatʼs us.

I need 3000, yes thatʼs three thousand, of you to send an email to raymond@raymondarroyo.com with only the word:

    Topics

in the subject line. Those are his specific instructions.

In the email (please be very polite) tell Raymond that you want him to interview Dr. Orly Taitz, Esq., the lawyer who has a case pending in the United States Supreme Court challenging Obamaʼs Natural Born Citizenship.

If we get her on TV, and tens of millions of Americans watch what she has to say, then the cat is out of the bag. This site has three hundred and fifty thousand (350,000) hits per week; I only need three thousand of you. I need three thousand Patriots to step forward.

Please do your share. Help her! Step forward!

    Sincerely,

    Carlos Vazquez

P.S. After you send the email to Raymond Arroyo, please add a comment here. That will help in monitoring how many emails Raymond get from us.

Woods said that they “have been working on this legislation since June, due to the growing trend with the Federal Government that all the answers should come within Washington, D.C., whether it’s No Child Left Behind or the Fairness Doctrine.” He said that the final straw was the announcement today from the chairman of the U.S. Senate Banking Committee Chris Dodd who they may have to nationalize our banking system. Rep. Woods said, “The Federal Government is the agent to the state, we are not an agent to the Federal Government. This resolution affirm that.”

LMAO-Hal Turner is a pig, imo. But I think it is funny that he says he will show up to throw bananas at Al Sharpton and gang at their “protest” tomorrow over that dumb ass cartoon. Can I just tell you that, as a woman of “Cracker” descent, I honestly DID NOT THINK that cartoon was a slam against Barry or black pepole? I mean, Barry does kind of look like Curious George to me but I think that is because of HIS Big Ass Ears. Anyway, a bunch of BS if you ask me.

Obama And Michelle Ask Progressive Groups For Help Driving White House Agenda

At a private White House cocktail reception last night for leaders of major progressive groups, Barack Obama and his wife Michelle appealed to these leaders and signaled that their groups would play a key role in driving the big progressive changes at the heart of the White House’s legislative agenda, an attendee tells me.

The message was that these groups would be valuable as a kind of progressive outside “echo chamber,” as the attendee puts it.

The party — which was organized by top Obama aide Valerie Jarrett — signals that the White House is moving forward with efforts to build coordination with outside progressive groups in order to drive the White House’s message and beat back its foes. As I reported recently, Jarrett is at the center of those efforts.

Obama didn’t give a talk, and the President, Michelle, and Joe Biden mingled informally with various groups of progressive leaders. The message, the attendee adds, was that “it’s very clear that there will need to be an echo chamber and a way for groups on the outside to build the case for big progressive legislation.”

“The gist was, `We’re gonna need people out there telling the story of the stimulus and telling the story about how much we need big health care reform and clean energy and green jobs,’” the attendee says.

Among those on the guest list: Labor leaders Jimmy Hoffa, Gerry McEntee and Andy Stern; MoveOn’s Eli Pariser; Sierra Club’s Carl Pope; Planned Parenthood’s Cecile Richardson; and Joe Solomonese of the Human Rights Campaign.

Word of the gathering first leaked out when Ben Smith posted Andy Stern’s Twitter saying he’d just been at the reception.

This is a key development for progressive leaders; more soon.

Update: We have a lot more detail for you on the meeting right here.

JC: Thanks for posting the alan Keyes video. The interesting part was reading the comments. So many times the plants for Obama try to discredit the truthful information by laughing and calling the truthseekers crazy. Good for Alan Keyes and people like Rick Santelli– talking in a public, msm forum–who will speak up in the face of ridicule because they know the facts. I thank them and support them.

The Gamble: How Sean MacFarland’s tactics turned Iraq’s tide of violence

In this exclusive extract from The Gamble: General Petraeus and the untold story of the American surge in Iraq 2006-2008, author Thomas E. Ricks reveals how a young American colonel assigned to the insurgent stronghold of Ramadi in 2006 developed the tactics that changed the course of the war in Iraq.

    http://entertainment.timesonline.co.uk/tol/arts_and_entertainment/books/book_extracts/article5776368.ece

A few months later MacFarland was ordered to move his unit, the 1st brigade of the Army’s 1st Armored Division, to Ramadi.

Every American brigade assigned to Ramadi, the violent provincial capital of Anbar province, had lost about 100 soldiers during its tour of duty, as the city steadily declined into chaos.

“I’ll be goddamned if I lose one hundred soldiers here and have nothing to show for it,” said Colonel Sean MacFarland, a soft-spoken cavalryman from an Irish Catholic neighbourhood of Albany, New York.

    Lucy T,
Regarding your post #71, my source is Ed Hale, Plains radio discussion during Tuesday night show, and my follow up phone call to Ed after the show. During Tuesday night show, Ed stated, on the air, that he had received a letter from Fox and not an injunction or court order.
With regard to your post # 72 and few other comments by other people on this thread, I do agree that Ed Hale is a bit rough on the edges. He too often, at least for my taste, wears his emotions on his sleeves and sometimes tends to embellish a little. He never tries to be politically correct and some may argue that is part of his charm.
I do not know Ed personally but I listen to Plains Radio, when I have time, to follow up on events surrounding Obama’s constitutional eligibility and state sovereignty effort.
I personally do not think the letter from Fox had anything to do with political views expressed at Plains Radio but rather related to dispute between Ed Hale and Ms. Adams also known as MommaE. I believe Berg’s letter to Ed Hale in which Mr. Berg lists Ed Hale’s on the air derogatory remakes about his client, MommaE, was most likely sent to Fox and Fox, justifiably, does not want any part of it. That is my feeling but I could be wrong.
I did not have time to tune in to Wednesday night show and do not know if Karen or Ed contacted Fox as the letter by Fox had instructed them.
I am really very disappointed to see so much infighting among radio personalities and between attorneys who have brought legal action questioning Obama‘s eligibility. It looks as though they enabled Obama to laugh all the way to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue and continue to laugh all the way to January 20, 2017. I find that sad.

It only took two tastes of Hale’s huckster behavior on the divorce papers for me to realize that he jerked a lot of people around on them, and is still jerking people around by providing false information.
I do not consider Hale to be on anyone’s side but his own.
I read his nasty letter to Berg and wonder, where does he get off saying that Berg is just looking to get money when he has not authored a single, legal action against Obama, nor does he understand the great costs involved, nor has he gone on as many different radio and TV shows as possible to get the word out about Obama, and given the fact that Hale, not Berg, is the one scamming the public?
A lot of these talk radio jocks have incredibly inflated egos. They all think that they are the only show in town and go out of their way to bash others.
Make no mistake: This brouhaha between Hale and MommaE has nothing whatsoever to do with Obama’s ineligibility issues. It is all about personality issues. So, please stop with this “Let’s all get together on one side” mantra.
I say, don’t waste your time on anyone who is not sincere about the issue of Obama’s ineligibility.

Hello everyone — I’ve been lurking for months without posting. You guys are a wealth of information here and you’re great! I wanted to state that I also emailed Mr. Arroyo about having Dr. Orly on his show. Unfortunately I’m on dialup right now so I can’t enjoy the videos you post or Rose’s music. I’ve saved a lot of it for when I return home next month (to my satellite internet) Let’s hope the stuff hasn’t been scrubbed by then. I’ve printed soooo much stuff to my computer that I bought a 4gb flash drive to store it. Keep up the great work everyone.
