How can 3 US Republican Senators look at this package, know that they are the only 3 Republicans voting for it, and still think they are right to vote for it?

These three literally need to be removed from office.

This makes no sense and is unforgivable!
    Amen brother lew!

  5. ddlew2 Says:

    Thanks Tenacity!

I hate to think this way but it seems to me that the leaders of the Republican Party are in on this deal.

Think about it. If you know that your entire party, including those in the House, voted against it, what kind of “back room” deal would make you go against your ENTIRE PARTY? NOTHING!!

………unless, of course, THE MAJORITY OF YOUR PARTY is secretly FOR THE BILL and asks you to “fall on your sword” for the sake of the party and the passage of the legislation.

I think we are being DUPED by the Republican party on this deal!

This doesn’t tell the whole story, but is a good place to start understanding.

It might have become a conservative party in 1964, when Barry Goldwater was nominated as the presidential candidate. The Rockefeller wing of the party, to which the Bush family has always been a part, conducted the most vicious character assassination campaign against Goldwater in modern political history. The liberal Rockefellerites preferred a crook from Texas to a conservative.

    (quoting Mr. Rockefeller):

“We are grateful to the Washington Post, the New York Times, Time Magazine and other great publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected their promises of discretion for almost 40 years……..It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subjected to the lights of publicity during those years. But, the world is more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a world government. The supernational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the national autodetermination practiced in past centuries.”

  13. Tenacity Says:

    Another little tidbit:

    February 2009 – Richard Moore

“For more than a century, ideological extremists at either end of the political spectrum have seized upon well-publicized incidents to attack the Rockefeller family for the inordinate influence they claim we wield over American political and economic institutions. Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as ‘internationalists’ and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure – one world, if you will. If that’s the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it.” David Rockefeller, Memoirs, 6-11-6

I used to listen to Alex Jones but he seems to have wandered further down the rabit hole than I think we have progressed. I reserve the right to be wrong on that opinion though.

In re-thinking my previous post, I hold out hope that the 3 Senators voted FOR the passage because the Republicans want the bill to pass in order to show the voters that they made a huge mistake. It makes sense if you truly believe it will allow your party to regain control of the nation.

The Rockefeller stuff just proves that they are a family, linked with other families, that place profit and control ABOVE patriotism. Even though I disagree with their premise, that doesn’t mean I can’t understand their motivation (MONEY AND CONTROL). That doesn’t necessarily mean that all of the politicians are like that though.

Although it may be faltering a bit, I still hold out hope that what’s good and “right” about this nation will pevail in the end……..whatever “end” that may be.

I agree that Jones wonders a bit far down the rabbit hole. However, you have to keep the good and toss the bad. A good gate lets some in and keeps others out. A lawsuit that accuses Congress of failing to investigate President Obama’s birthplace before approving the Electoral College vote giving him the presidency has been amended to include additional claims of rights violations, including unequal treatment, because Congress did such an investigation into GOP candidate Sen. John McCain.

That word comes from Mario Apuzzo, the lawyer handling the case on which WND previously has reported.

The case raises many of the same arguments as dozens of other cases that have flooded into courtrooms around the nation since the November election.

The case was brought by Apuzzo on behalf of Charles F. Kerchner Jr., Lowell T. Patterson, Darrell James Lenormand and Donald H. Nelson Jr. It names as defendants Barack Hussein Obama II, the U.S., Congress, the Senate, House of Representatives and former Vice President Dick Cheney along with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

I have lost all trust in both parties, as they both allowed this to happen. I understand why the Democrats want this to happen. What I don’t understand is why the Republicans are letting this happen. Do they really hate McCain so much that they’d rather see Obama trash this great nation than let McCain be president? Or did they make some kind of deal that Bush wouldn’t be prosecuted for war crimes if they just kept their mouths shut? Or are they all part and parcel of one ugly conspiracy to take over the country? Nothing makes any sense. And I don’t know who to trust anymore so I trust no one.

I hope it gives you peace to remember all the good times, and know that you gave your boys a wonderful home that they obviously wanted to be in for a long time. 17 years is amazing!!

Tenacity is right – with time, your horrible experience yesterday will fade to be replaced with lots of smiles and wonderful memories. I have another friend who went through a similar experience with his two dogs, and shortly thereafter someone gifted him a new puppy. He was really torn up, and that new life and friendship changed his grief to joy. Then a year later, my friend got adopted by a stray dog in the neighborhood, and now once again his life is full.

  43. justanamericancindy4 Says:

    From jbjd’s blog
Take advantage of laws already on the book in your state to expose Nancy Pelosi’s fraud in Certifying BO is a NBC.

For example, all of you who live in a state with a law that says, the major political party must vet its candidate for POTUS for Constitutional eligibility; or the nominee of the party “shall” be eligible for the office sought, can file fraud complaints with your AG. Nancy Pelosi signed a Certification BO was eligible for the job. (See the FACTS in my military Complaint.) But no one made her prove this. And, BO’s Answer to Berg’s Hollister Complaint confirms what I proposed in my military Complaint, that is, his strongest ‘evidence’ he is eligible for POTUS is his old employer, Annenberg Political Fact Check, implies he is. And that organization is de-bunked in my military Complaint. So, on what documentation did NP rely before Certifying he was Constitutionally eligible for the job?

Do not let your state officials off the hook. We know the Democratic Party cannot have determined BO is a NBC, since he isn’t. And, by the way, the assistance given to political parties to get their candidates onto our state ballots comes with a price. In most states, if the party fails to ‘run’ a candidate in the general election – and this means, since BO is not a NBC, he was not really a candidate – the party is not entitled to get the name of their candidate on the next general election ballot. Check out your state elections laws and, policies from your state elections officials.

Visit your state offices. File formal Complaints. Bring along some friends. Have them file Complaints, too.

  46. rosettasister Says:

    Pelosi frustrated (Ya think!)

When MSNBC asked Collins how she would react to the restoration of the House spending plan, she replied, “The Democrats will lose my vote.”

Similar remarks by Specter prompted House Majority Leader Steny H. Hoyer (D-Md.), not known for his bellicosity, to fire back at his weekly pen-and-pad session with reporters: “I’m shocked that any senator of any party would say this is the bill we passed, take it or leave it.”

    Nelson’s Warning

Ben Nelson, who carved out a kingmaker role at the center (literally) of the stimulus fight, is warning House Democrats he won’t support anything that differs very much from the Senate bill.

“It can’t be materially different as to the top line [of about $830 billion] or as to the pieces in the package,” he told Politico.

But he left a little bit of daylight, saying he’d “never said never” about anything.

Asked if he could accept the restoration of education aid to the states, he replied: “If they [the House leadership] can persuade the three Republicans” who voted for the stimulus cloture last night, “they could do that” — which suggests he wouldn’t be swayed unless there were major House cuts to other parts of the program.

    Hi Everyone,

Sorry to have been away so long. I’m still hanging in, but it’s been difficult days.

Troy, I’m so sorry to hear about your dog. I had to have my (step) son’s dog put down while he was serving in Iraq. The dog was in such a miserable condition. We had brought the dog home with us when my son was shipping out from Fort Hood. Two years later, the poor dog had to be put down because she had a congenital disease that just continued to grow worse. It was such a hard decision to make, and my son was so upset. It really hurt knowing he was in Iraq and counting on getting her back when he came home. But, sometimes you just have to do what is right, what is loving and kind– regardless of how it makes you feel at first. I’m sure that you did what was loving and kind, what you had to do for your friend of 17 years. Time will heal. Celebrate the companionship you shared and the healing will come much faster.

My personal medical assistant dog was stolen Christmas morning one year ago. This little guy had been to Africa and around the world with me. I grieved for 7 months (and I still find myself looking for his little face everywhere!) and my hubby asked if he could get me another to train. While he’s not the same, he’s a good little friend and he is a smart puppy.

On Obama: How long will America tolerate this charade? If the American public only knew a fraction of what this man has planned for our country we would be court-martialing the man and his menions!

Senate Approves Stimulus; AMT Patch Hitches a Ride

After a contentious debate period, the Senate voted (61-37) last night to end debate on the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (HR 1), or “ARRA.” Today, the Senate moved to approve the bill, with an identical vote tally.

Although the media are calling the bill an $838 billion economic-stimulus plan, it’s really more like a $768 billion stimulus with a $70 billion-hitchhiker AMT patch.

As we’ve noted, an AMT patch is not stimulative, and including its cost as part of the stimulus bill is misleading.

First, by enacting the patch, tax revenues remain the same as the previous year, resulting in no economic changes compared to last year.

Second, the patch would have been passed (unpaid for, naturally) regardless.

So, the proper cost comparison is: $819 billion (House) vs. $768 bilion (Senate) — a $51 billion difference.

And, the Senate Finance Committee has released a side-by-side comparison of the two bills.

I’m not sure if it’s comprehensive — it’s only five pages — but it does include information on tax policy, health care, unemployment insurance, and trade policies.

Specter Under Fire For Voting For Senate’s $838 Billion Stimulus

But the senator also made clear he would drop his support during the conference committee if lawmakers fail to cut down the costs. The conference committee is responsible for reconciling differences in the Senate and $819 billion House version.

“The Republican moderates worked it out at $780 billion. That represented a $110 billion cut. That’s the arrangement, and that’s the arrangement I expect to have followed,” he said.

With his 2010 re-election prospects already clouded by his support for the nomination of Eric Holder as attorney general, Specter’s vote for the stimulus has some conservatives up in arms.

Pittsburgh businessman Glen Meakem told Human Events the senator’s breaking with GOP leadership on the stimulus “is too much” and that “Pennsylvania voters are fed up with Specter’s perennial charade.”

The National Republican Trust Political Action Committee has also told the Express-Times, “Specter and other Republicans who voted for this travesty will be held accountable.” The PAC previously issued a statement warning it “would support challengers in primaries of any Republicans who vote for the stimulus bill.”

Specter had led the GOP in opposing the nomination of Holder due to concerns about his role in the presidential pardon of a convicted commodities trader and the clemencies for members of a terror group.

The Pennsylvania lawmaker eventually dropped his opposition, leading to Holder’s confirmation on Feb. 3.

  55. rosettasister Says:

Tentative deal keeps stimulus bill at $789 billion

Congressional leaders and the White House struck a tentative agreement to keep the price of the economic stimulus bill at about $789 billion, a figure that should preserve a few key Senate Republican votes needed for final passage of the package.

The closed-door talks lasted late into the night Tuesday and were set to resume Wednesday afternoon, as President Obama’s negotiators push to return about $16 billion for school construction projects cut from the Senate-passed bill.

Early reports indicated the White House abandoned hope for restoring up to $40 billion in aid to state government slashed from the Senate bill, which leaves about $39 billion to prop up state spending.

House Democrats also insist on adding in tens of billions of dollars for federal-building “green” makeovers, education for disabled children, health care and other programs removed in a Senate bargain to cut the price tag and win key Republican support.

The Senate stimulus bill should only stimulate taxpayer anger

The CBO’s latest projection for fiscal year 2009’s deficit is that it will reach $1.2 trillion (that’s eleven zeros after the 2) before factoring in any stimulus spending or war spending.

That’s 8.3 percent of GDP and far higher than any deficit under President Ronald Reagan in the 1980s (when deficits reached 6 percent of GDP).

In fact, you have to go back to World War II to find deficits higher than the projections for FY 2009.

Truly massive deficits won’t surprise anyone who has looked at the Senate version of the stimulus bill.

The left and our enemies will have gotten what they wanted.

We won’t have any money left to prosecute any war, just or unjust, necessary or unnecessary.

The senate bill was modified and is no longer a danger to hams in Indiana. I would like to thank those that wrote to their egislators; and to Cindy **** KC9NCU for her persistant calling of Representives.

With the modification there is no more worry from the Senate side. We are almost sure that the House will accept it as written and not cause us any worry. I also would to thank those who emailed me, especially the
lawyers for their help in providing a legal opinion on this bill. It is nice to know that we can work together to fight for our rights. Of course we need to thank David Spoelstra, N9KT for his hard work as State Government Liaison and keeping on top of all the bills being presented.

House and Senate negotiators agreed to pare economic stimulus legislation below $800 billion and reached for a final deal with the White House on Wednesday on a bill designed to create millions of jobs in a nation reeling from recession.

“Time’s getting short,” said Sen. Susan Collins, R-Maine, one of a handful of Senate moderates whose votes are crucial to the bill’s passage.

ALERT! Financial Crisis Planned, Staged, Deliberate

  73. rosettasister Says:

    From RealHistoryChannel

    February 07, 2009

At 2 minutes, 20 seconds into this C-Span video clip, Rep. Paul Kanjorski of Pennsylvania explains how

the Federal Reserve told Congress members about

a “tremendous draw-down of money market accounts in the United States, to the tune of $550 billion dollars.”

According to Kanjorski, this electronic transfer occured over the period of an hour or two.

  74. rosettasister Says:

If the Global Banking System Nearly Collapses and Nobody Reports It…

…does it make a sound? On Sept. 18, 2008, the banking system almost collapsed–no, really. A while back, I noted that there are at least two classes of media bias:

one involves the interpretation of a set of agreed upon facts, while the other involves decisions as to what those facts are, or, even if something happened (an aside: while this was not controversial to the science-oriented commenters, this distinction is apparently beyond the ken of at least one journalism professor).

Anyway, this story, unearthed by C-SPAN, falls into the latter category (in the video, go to the 2:05 mark; transcript)

I was there when the secretary and the chairman of the Federal Reserve came those days and talked to members of Congress about what was going on… Here’s the facts. We don’t even talk about these things.

On Thursday, at about 11 o’clock in the morning, the Federal Reserve noticed a tremendous drawdown of money market accounts in the United States to a tune of $550 billion being drawn out in a matter of an hour or two.

The Treasury opened up its window to help. They pumped $105 billion into the system and quickly realized that they could not stem the tide.

We were having an electronic run on the banks.

They decided to close the operation, close down the money accounts, and announce a guarantee of $250,000 per account so there wouldn’t be further panic and there. And that’s what actually happened.

If they had not done that their estimation was that by two o’clock that afternoon, $5.5 trillion would have been drawn out of the money market system of the United States, would have collapsed the entire economy of the United States, and within 24 hours the world economy would have collapsed.

Now we talked at that time about what would have happened if that happened. It would have been the end of our economic system and our political system as we know it.

    Holy shit.

I couldn’t find a single story from that time that reported this. It’s kinda important, I think.

And here’s some extra bonus scary from the interview:

Ya know, we’re not any geniuses in economics or finances… We’re representatives of people. We ought to take our time, but let the people know this is a very difficult struggle.

Somebody threw us into the middle of the Atlantic Ocean without a life raft and we’re trying to determine what’s the closest shore and whether there’s any chance in the world to swim that far. We. Don’t. Know.

“The Financial Crisis Was Deliberate, Planned, Staged”: Feds Shut Down Mysterious, Lethal Bank Run Before Election – “World Economy Would Have Collapsed”

No one knows who did it, but mysterious individuals or groups began emptying out America’s banks right before Obama was elected.

Now here’s where it really gets creepy. Three days after the bank run, Fed Chariman Bernanke, and Treasury Secretary Paulson, run over to Capital Hill to give Congressional leaders a top-secret, emergency briefing on the situation.

On cue, when the meeting’s over, Senators Schumer and Dodd rush out and declare to the New York Times and Good Morning America that the sky is falling, and start blubbering about history hanging over our heads and the need for bipartanship.

All of this was recounted in the NY Times, where Schumer and Dodd, like Keystone Cops, or just plain inept co-conspirators, don’t really sound very shocked, but more like in-on-it schemers carrying out stage two of the mission: scare the public.

In fact, Dodd at one point abruptly cuts off Schumer for not sounding scary enough:

“When you listened to him describe it you gulped,” said Senator Charles E. Schumer, Democrat of New York.

As Senator Christopher J. Dodd, Democrat of Connecticut and chairman of the Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee, put it Friday morning on the ABC program “Good Morning America,” the congressional leaders were told “that we’re literally maybe days away from a complete meltdown of our financial system, with all the implications here at home and globally.”

Mr. Schumer added, “History was sort of hanging over it, like this was a moment.”

When Mr. Schumer described the meeting as “somber,” Mr. Dodd cut in.

“Somber doesn’t begin to justify the words,” he said. “We have never heard language like this.”

“What you heard last evening,” he added, “is one of those rare moments, certainly rare in my experience here, is Democrats and Republicans deciding we need to work together quickly.”

    Okay, y’all, it’s real simple.

Regardless of who is or isn’t conspiring what, Americans must demand to know, right now, who the fuck suddenly started withdrawing enough money from America’s banks to sink the world’s economy, that fateful Monday morning.

The only thing open to question is “why”? No one disputes that it happened.

At almost exactly 100 hours after the 7th anniversary after the September 11 attacks. Think about that.

The bank run started just about exactly 100 hours after the 7th anniversary of the moment the first plane slammed into the World Trade Center on Septermber 11, 2001.

George Soros and the progressives have taken over the Democrat party. They said so. They said they bought and paid for it and now the Democrat Party is theirs. There is strength in numbers. The majority of the people in this country are centrists. They are either a little right or left of center. The Republicans are still too stupid to realize that they are fighting C-O-M-M-U-N-I-S-T-S. They aren`t just socialists. They are communists who want the total distruction of America as we know it. I know this sounds crazy people but, it`s freakin TRUE. The hope and change was all about that these progressives finally had hope that they could change this country to the far left. THAT`S WHY NANCY PELOSI SHOT HE WHOLE WAD IN THIS PORKULUS BILL. What has to be done is all centrists have to choose country before party. We can no longer be worried about women`s rights or gay rights or this one`s or that one`s rights. WE HAVE TO ALL CHOOSE AMERICA,the land we all love. WE HAVE TO BE TRUE PATRIOTS AND FIX AMERICA FIRST AND WE CAN GO BACK TO THE SQUABBLING LATER. THESE PROGRESSIVE`S DIVIDE US ON PURPOSE. That is what they have on us. All of us centrists love America. The progressive`s don`t love America. We all have to band together in every state and take America back. We should get busy, right now starting our own party, the centrist party. Every American should vote centrist and vote all of these bastards out. Then we can go back to the 2 party system after we get rid of these loser progressive`s and stupid republicans who are fighting a 21 century war like they are still in the 18th century. Let`s go Hillbuzz. You are connected. You know all the right people. 75% of this country is centrist. It`s a slam dunk. Do it for your country. Screw the party, otherwise the progressives won.

    Hi Rosie,

Saw your welcome back to me above–thanks! I missed you all so much!

Now about this post above–I have been telling anyone with ears this very thing every since it started. It was just too darned convenient for the liberals and for the Obama-take-over-the-world camp. Yes, it was orchestrated, just like the upcoming “disaster” that Joe Biden promised would be a manufactured disaster which would cause the American public to revolt. If the American public doesn’t act soon, we won’t be able to.

There were people who could see the Holocaust taking shape, but couldn’t get people to believe it. Even as it happened the world stood by in stunned and unbelieving silence as 11 millon people (6 mil who were Jews) died.

I wonder if their will be a country that will come to our rescue, and how long they will wait– America will be a rotting corpse if we don’t continue to fight for freedom and liberty. Maybe it will be Iran!

I don’t drink or smoke or do illicit drugs– so the best doctors in the world can’t figure out what’s wrong with my pancreas. I spent days doing my own research watching lectures by these top doctors who have been treating me, and saw some connections that they have missed–just because I’ve followed all of my labs and tests for 15 years! I’m taking my findings to my next appointment and hopefully I’ll be well on the way to a cure– otherwise, I’ll just keep fighting it!

What is the Federal Reserve Bank (The Fed) and why do we have it?
by Greg Hobbs November 1, 1999

The FED is a central bank. Central banks are supposed to implement a country’s fiscal policies. They monitor commercial banks to ensure that they maintain sufficient assets, like cash, so as to remain solvent and stable. Central banks also do business, such as currency exchanges and gold transactions, with other central banks. In theory, a central bank should be good for a country, and they might be if it wasn’t for the fact that they are not owned or controlled by the government of the country they are serving. Private central banks, including our FED, operate not in the interest of the public good but for profit.

There have been three central banks in our nation’s history. The first two, while deceptive and fraudulent, pale in comparison to the scope and size of the fraud being perpetrated by our current FED. What they all have in common is an insidious practice known as “fractional banking.”

Fractional banking or fractional lending is the ability to create money from nothing, lend it to the government or someone else and charge interest to boot. The practice evolved before banks existed. Goldsmiths rented out space in their vaults to individuals and merchants for storage of their gold or silver. The goldsmiths gave these “depositors” a certificate that showed the amount of gold stored. These certificates were then used to conduct business.

In time the goldsmiths noticed that the gold in their vaults was rarely withdrawn. Small amounts would move in and out but the large majority never moved. Sensing a profit opportunity, the goldsmiths issued double receipts for the gold, in effect creating money (certificates) from nothing and then lending those certificates (creating debt) to depositors and charging them interest as well.

Since the certificates represented more gold than actually existed, the certificates were “fractionally” backed by gold. Eventually some of these vault operations were transformed into banks and the practice of fractional banking continued.

Keep that fractional banking concept in mind as we examine our first central bank, the First Bank of the United States (BUS). It was created, after bitter dissent in the Congress, in 1791 and chartered for 20 years. A scam not unlike the current FED, the BUS used its control of the currency to defraud the public and establish a legal form of usury.

This bank practiced fractional lending at a 10:1 rate, ten dollars of loans for each dollar they had on deposit. This misuse and abuse of their public charter continued for the entire 20 years of their existence. Public outrage over these abuses was such that the charter was not renewed and the bank ceased to exist in 1811.

The war of 1812 left the country in economic chaos, seen by bankers as another opportunity for easy profits. They influenced Congress to charter the second central bank, the Second Bank of the United States (SBUS), in 1816.

The SBUS was more expansive than the BUS. The SBUS sold franchises and literally doubled the number of banks in a short period of time. The country began to boom and move westward, which required money. Using fractional lending at the 10:1 rate, the central bank and their franchisees created the debt/money for the expansion.

Things boomed for a while, then the banks decided to shut off the debt/money, citing the need to control inflation. This action on the part of the SBUS caused bankruptcies and foreclosures. The banks then took control of the assets that were used as security against the loans.

Closely examine how the SBUS engineered this cycle of prosperity and depression. The central bank caused inflation by creating debt/money for loans and credit and making these funds readily available. The economy boomed. Then they used the inflation which they created as an excuse to shut off the loans/credit/money.

The resulting shortage of cash caused the economy to falter or slow dramatically and large numbers of business and personal bankruptcies resulted. The central bank then seized the assets used as security for the loans. The wealth created by the borrowers during the boom was then transferred to the central bank during the bust. And you always wondered how the big guys ended up with all the marbles.

Now, who do you think is responsible for all of the ups and downs in our economy over the last 85 years? Think about the depression of the late ’20s and all through the ’30s. The FED could have pumped lots of debt/money into the market to stimulate the economy and get the country back on track, but did they? No; in fact, they restricted the money supply quite severely. We all know the results that occurred from that action, don’t we?

Why would the FED do this? During that period asset values and stocks were at rock bottom prices. Who do you think was buying everything at 10 cents on the dollar? I believe that it is referred to as consolidating the wealth. How many times have they already done this in the last 85 years?

Do you think they will do it again?

Just as an aside at this point, look at today’s economy. Markets are declining. Why? Because the FED has been very liberal with its debt/credit/money. The market was hyper inflated. Who creates inflation? The FED. How does the FED deal with inflation? They restrict the debt/credit/money. What happens when they do that? The market collapses.

Several months back, after certain central banks said they would be selling large quantities of gold, the price of gold fell to a 25-year low of about $260 per ounce. The central banks then bought gold. After buying at the bottom, a group of 15 central banks announced that they would be restricting the amount of gold released into the market for the next five years. The price of gold went up $75.00 per ounce in just a few days. How many hundreds of billions of dollars did the central banks make with those two press releases?

Gold is generally considered to be a hedge against more severe economic conditions. Do you think that the private banking families that own the FED are buying or selling equities at this time? (Remember: buy low, sell high.) How much money do you think these FED owners have made since they restricted the money supply at the top of this last current cycle?

Alan Greenspan has said publicly on several occasions that he thinks the market is overvalued, or words to that effect. Just a hint that he will raise interest rates (restrict the money supply), and equity markets have a negative reaction. Governments and politicians do not rule central banks, central banks rule governments and politicians. President Andrew Jackson won the presidency in 1828 with the promise to end the national debt and eliminate the SBUS. During his second term President Jackson withdrew all government funds from the bank and on January 8, 1835, paid off the national debt. He is the only president in history to have this distinction. The charter of the SBUS expired in 1836.

Without a central bank to manipulate the supply of money, the United States experienced unprecedented growth for 60 or 70 years, and the resulting wealth was too much for bankers to endure. They had to get back into the game. So, in 1910 Senator Nelson Aldrich, then Chairman of the National Monetary Commission, in collusion with representatives of the European central banks, devised a plan to pressure and deceive Congress into enacting legislation that would covertly establish a private central bank.

This bank would assume control over the American economy by controlling the issuance of its money. After a huge public relations campaign, engineered by the foreign central banks, the Federal Reserve Act of 1913 was slipped through Congress during the Christmas recess, with many members of the Congress absent. President Woodrow Wilson, pressured by his political and financial backers, signed it on December 23, 1913.

The act created the Federal Reserve System, a name carefully selected and designed to deceive. “Federal” would lead one to believe that this is a government organization. “Reserve” would lead one to believe that the currency is being backed by gold and silver. “System” was used in lieu of the word “bank” so that one would not conclude that a new central bank had been created.

In reality, the act created a private, for profit, central banking corporation owned by a cartel of private banks. Who owns the FED? The Rothschilds of London and Berlin; Lazard Brothers of Paris; Israel Moses Seif of Italy; Kuhn, Loeb and Warburg of Germany; and the Lehman Brothers, Goldman, Sachs and the Rockefeller families of New York.

Did you know that the FED is the only for-profit corporation in America that is exempt from both federal and state taxes? The FED takes in about one trillion dollars per year tax free! The banking families listed above get all that money.

Almost everyone thinks that the money they pay in taxes goes to the US Treasury to pay for the expenses of the government. Do you want to know where your tax dollars really go? If you look at the back of any check made payable to the IRS you will see that it has been endorsed as “Pay Any F.R.B. Branch or Gen. Depository for Credit U.S. Treas. This is in Payment of U.S. Oblig.” Yes, that’s right, every dime you pay in income taxes is given to those private banking families, commonly known as the FED, tax free.

Like many of you, I had some difficulty with the concept of creating money from nothing. You may have heard the term “monetizing the debt,” which is kind of the same thing. As an example, if the US Government wants to borrow $1million; the government does borrow every dollar it spends–they go to the FED to borrow the money. The FED calls the Treasury and says print 10,000 Federal Reserve Notes (FRN) in units of one hundred dollars.

The Treasury charges the FED 2.3 cents for each note, for a total of $230 for the 10,000 FRNs. The FED then lends the $1 million to the government at face value plus interest. To add insult to injury, the government has to create a bond for $1 million as security for the loan. And the rich get richer. The above was just an example, because in reality the FED does not even print the money; it’s just a computer entry in their accounting system. To put this on a more personal level, let’s use another example.

Today’s banks are members of the Federal Reserve Banking System. This membership makes it legal for them to create money from nothing and lend it to you. Today’s banks, like the goldsmiths of old, realize that only a small fraction of the money deposited in their banks is ever actually withdrawn in the form of cash. Only about 4 percent of all the money that exists is in the form of currency. The rest of it is simply a computer entry.

Let’s say you’re approved to borrow $10,000 to do some home improvements. You know that the bank didn’t actually take $10,000 from its pile of cash and put it into your pile? They simply went to their computer and input an entry of $10,000 into your account. They created, from thin air, a debt which you have to secure with an asset and repay with interest. The bank is allowed to create and lend as much debt as they want as long as they do not exceed the 10:1 ratio imposed by the FED.

It sort of puts a new slant on how you view your friendly bank, doesn’t it? How about those loan committees that scrutinize you with a microscope before approving the loan they created from thin air. What a hoot! They make it complex for a reason. They don’t want you to understand what they are doing. People fear what they do not understand. You are easier to delude and control when you are ignorant and afraid.

Now to put the frosting on this cake. When was the income tax created? If you guessed 1913, the same year that the FED was created, you get a gold star. Coincidence? What are the odds? If you are going to use the FED to create debt, who is going to repay that debt? The income tax was created to complete the illusion that real money had been lent and therefore real money had to be repaid. And you thought Houdini was good.

So, what can be done? My father taught me that you should always stand up for what is right, even if you have to stand up alone.

If “We the People” don’t take some action now, there may come a time when “We the People” are no more. You should write a letter or send an email to each of your elected representatives. Many of our elected representatives do not understand the FED. Once informed they will not be able to plead ignorance and remain silent.

Article 1, Section 8 of the US Constitution specifically says that Congress is the only body that can “coin money and regulate the value thereof.” The US Constitution has never been amended to allow anyone other than Congress to coin and regulate currency.

Ask your representative, in light of that information, how it is possible for the Federal Reserve Act of 1913, and the Federal Reserve Bank that it created, to be constitutional. Ask them why this private banking cartel is allowed to reap trillions of dollars in profits without paying taxes. Insist on an answer.

Thomas Jefferson said, “If the America people ever allow private banks to control the issuance of their currencies, first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all their prosperity until their children will wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.”

Jefferson saw it coming 150 years ago. The question is, “Can you now see what is in store for us if we allow the FED to continue controlling our country?”

    More Bad News!

If the final tax credit gets pared back, it would represent a blow to the Realtors’ and homebuilders lobby that have aggressively championed the credits as a means to boost sales.

“… the tweaking of several tax cut provisions concerning, among other things, the purchase of homes and cars.”

Support from three moderate Republican senators, Sens. Susan Collins and Olympia Snowe of Maine and Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania, was necessary to avoid a filibuster by Republican hard-liners in the Senate.

The three, who helped shape the package approved by the Senate, said they would not support a final bill that did not reflect the more than $100 billion in spending cuts they helped slice out of the bill last week.

As a result, almost $50 billion had been slashed from the bill that passed the Senate Tuesday.

But House spending provisions involving aid to budget-strapped state governments and school construction were added during the negotiations. Both line items were important to the White House, which took on a leading role in pushing the parties to an agreement in the last 24 hours.

The expenditures were offset in the bill by eliminating a provision that would expand Medicaid benefits and the tweaking of several tax cut provisions concerning, among other things, the purchase of homes and cars.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., declared the compromise bill an improvement. The new bill, he said, “creates more jobs than the original Senate bill and spends less than the original House bill.”

Collins, Snowe, and Specter, who were deeply involved in the final negotiations, said they would support the compromise, likely ensuring that it will have the necessary 60 votes to reach the floor of the Senate for a final vote.

“This is obviously a very difficult vote,” Specter said. “But I believe it is indispensable that strong action be taken.”

“That would continue to depress values across housing markets”

Stimulus Bill Deals ‘Major Blow’ to Big Homebuilders

    Michael Corkery reports:

The economic stimulus package will leave the nation’s big home building companies a little cash poorer.

The final version of the bill, hashed out in conference between the House and Senate Wednesday night, dropped a tax measure that would have allowed large corporations to claim write-offs on taxes they paid five years ago, instead of a two year carry back allowed under the current law.

The stimulus bill only allows for a five year carry back for companies with under $5 million in revenue, leaving the larger builders out in the cold.

Big builders are expected to use the current tax law, allowing a two year carry back, to reap as much as $2.4 billion in cash this year, far more than they will generate from selling houses.

But small builders complained that the law, if extended to five years, would encourage their large competitors to dump land to obtain tax write offs.

That would continue to depress values across housing markets, they argue.

The stimulus also axed another home builder plum: a proposed $15,000 home buyer tax credit.

The bill includes an $8,000 credit that does not have to be paid back, up from the current $7,500 credit that did have to be repaid, which builders have declared entirely inadequate at spurring demand.

In a research note, housing analyst Ivy Zelman called the downsized credit in the bill “a major blow to builders.”

Share of the large builders had slipped in morning trading by as much as 10%.

    Subject: Letter From A Lawyer

Dear American liberals, leftists, social progressives, socialists, Marxists, Obama supporters, et al:

We have stuck together since the late 1950’s, but the whole of this latest election process has made me realize that I want a divorce. I know we tolerated each other for many years for the sake of future generations, but sadly, this relationship has run its course. Our two ideological sides of America cannot and will not ever agree on what is right, so let’s just end it on friendly terms. We can smile, slate it up to irreconcilable differences, and go on our own ways.

Here is a model dissolution agreement:

Our two groups can equitably divide up the country by landmass each taking a portion. That will be the difficult part, but I am sure our two sides can come to a friendly agreement.

After that it should be relatively easy! Our respective representatives can effortlessly divide other assets since both sides have such distinct and disparate tastes. We don’t like redistributive taxes so you can keep them. You are welcome to the liberal judges and the ACLU.

Since you hate guns and war, we’ll take our firearms, the cops, the NRA and the military. You can keep Oprah, Michael Moore, and Rosie O’Donnell. We’ll keep the capitalism, greedy corporations, pharmaceutical companies, Wal-Mart, and Wall Street. You can have your beloved homeless, homeboys, hippies, and illegal aliens. We’ll keep the hot Alaskan hockey moms, greedy CEO’s, and rednecks. We’ll keep the Bibles and give you NBC and Hollywood .

You can make nice with Iran , Palestine , and France and we’ll retain the right t o invade and hammer places that threaten us. You can have the peaceniks and war protestors. When our allies or way of life are under assault, we’ll provide them job security.

We’ll keep our Judeo-Christian Values. You are welcome to Islam, Scientology, Humanism, and Shirley McClain. You can have the U.N. But we will no longer be paying the bill. We’ll keep the SUV’s, pickup trucks, and oversized luxury cars. You can take every Subaru station wagon you can find.

You can give everyone healthcare, if you can find any practicing doctors (that is practicing, Howard Dean) who will follow to your turf (sic). We’ll continue to believe healthcare is a luxury and not a right.

We’ll keep The Battle Hymn of the Republic and The National Anthem. I’m sure you’ll be happy to substitute Imagine, I’d Like to Teach the World to Sing, Kum Ba Ya or We Are the World.

We’ll practice trickle down economics and you can give trickle up poverty its best shot.

Since it often so offends you we’ll keep our History, our Name, and our Flag.

Would you agree to this? If so please pass it along to other likeminded patriots and if you do not agree just hit delete and hang on.

In the spirit of friendly parting, I’ll bet you ANWAR on who will need whose help in 15 years.
