Iraqis held their most peaceful election since the fall of Saddam Hussein on Saturday, and voting for provincial councils ended without a single major attack reported anywhere in the country.

“No security breaches took place during the election. Things went as we planned and as we hoped,” Defence Ministry spokesman Major General Mohammed al-Askary said.

“I consider it a great success, like a wedding.”

    Troy,
I had to fish one of your emails out of my junk folder. Must have been before you were in my address book.

It seemed that Kennedy was somewhat careful in his comments. He was either too careful or not careful enough. You would think he would have either made his message clearer or fought it covertly. I was in elementary school at the time of his speeches. I had no idea what he was saying and don’t remember any adult conversations about it. The books that I have read subsequently never really addressed it. I guess I have read the wrong books…by Harriman and a few others.

Apparently Eisenhower spoke about it too. Why were these men powerless to do anything about it? They obviously knew that it had been going on for a long time even then.

Do you believe Donofrio grasps this? If a guy like Leo is naive to some extent, what level of citizen could be expected to have a clue? Where/how do we begin to infiltrate/educate the minds of a sufficient number of people. The necessity of your point is manifesting itself. The disinformation is sinister. Even the suitcase nukes could be a false flag to distract from the real actions to bring about their goals. The manipulation comes from so many different directions. Now that I think about it, even Kennedy was manipulated and he had sufficient knowledge to be alert to it.

This is the Screwtape Letters magnified geometrically.

  4. Tenacity Says:

    Troy,
Just how complicit do you see W? It seems that he was reluctant in some ways, but he had to have some knowledge. I can see that he was either manipulated or may have allowed the manipulation.

Democrat Reaction To Steele RNC Election: Racism
    January 30, 2009
    Posted by: Matt

This afternoon Michael Steele, former Lt. Governor of Maryland, was elected to be the new chairman of the RNC. Congratulations to Steele. I’m looking forward to a fresh perspective on the direction to take our great Republican party. I was not looking forward to, after I heard this announcement, the inevitable negative spin and backlash from Democrats. What I heard was far worse than anything I expected. Pure racism.

While listening to C-SPAN on my drive home the broadcast of Michael Steele’s acceptance speech was played and then the call-in lines were opened. If you’re not familiar with C-SPAN’s call-in format the moderator takes calls, alternating between Republican, Democrat, and Independent lines while announcing the city, state, and party affiliation of the caller. There were 14 minutes of calls and every single Democrat caller spewed racism.

The first caller was a Democrat and called the election a shallow attempt at trying to match the Democrats’ nomination of an African-American for president. The second caller was Republican, congratulated Steele, and closed with a “God bless you.” The third caller was Democrat and called Steele a “colored.” The next, a Republican, said how excited he was for Steele because he had been his pick from those running. The next, a Democrat, talked about Steele in the third-person while referring to him as a “man of color.” Another Democrat caller informed listeners this was a hoax by the GOP because the Republican party was “99.9% white males.” Another Democrat, another “colored” reference.

This went on for 14 minutes. Three Democrat callers referred to Michael Steele, an African-American, as a “colored” or “man of color.” “Colored”?! What century is this??

Every Republican caller was positive and encouraging. Every single Democrat, every single last one, for 14 minutes spewed racist hatred at the GOP and Steele, likening this election to McCain’s selection of Palin as an alleged attempt to scoop the Hillary voters. Not one of the Democrat callers could take issue with a position or view of Steele’s, only the color of his skin.

  6. CJ Says:

LT: Should we really be surprised? The Dems are totally blinded by their own supposed superiority. The bots are clearly delusional and never see things outside their own little boxes. To them there is only one true AA and he is beyond criticism. Racism was their game all through the election. Unfortunately, the only real racists were themselves and they are still doing it. I like Michael Steele and even though I’m not a Repub, I hope he is successful in making a stronger push against the lala land party and their foolish, dangerous agenda.

  7. LadyTexan Says:

Wars are always divisive, and this one was especially so.

    ECOLOGICAL

Considering the short comings of war as a mechanism of selective population control, it might appear that devising substitutes for this function should be comparatively simple. Schematically this is so, but the problem of timing the
transition to a new ecological balancing device makes the feasibility of substitution less certain.

It must be remembered that the limitation of war in this function is entirely eugenic. War has not been genetically progressive. But as a system of gross population control to preserve the species it cannot fairly be faulted. And, as has
been pointed out, the nature of war is itself in transition. Current trends in warfare–the increased strategic bombing of civilians and the greater military importance now attached to the destruction of sources of supply (as opposed to purely “military” bases and personnel)—strongly suggest that a truly qualitative improvement is in the making. Assuming the war system is to continue, it is more than probably that the regressively selective quality of war will have been reversed, as its victims become more genetically representative of their
    societies.

There is no question but that a universal requirement that procreation be limited to the products of artificial insemination would provide a fully adequate substitute control for population levels. Such a reproductive system would, of
course, have the added advantage of being susceptible of direct eugenic management. Its predictable further development—conception and embryonic growth taking place wholly under laboratory conditions–would extend these
controls to their logical conclusion. The ecological function of war under these circumstances would not only be superseded but surpassed in effectiveness.

The indicated intermediate step–total control of conception with a variant of the ubiquitous “pill,” via water supplies or certain essential foodstuffs, offset by a controlled “antidote”—is already under development. There would appear to be
no foreseeable need to revert to any of the outmoded practices referred to in the previous section (infanticide, etc.) as there might have been if the possibility of transition to peace had arisen two generations ago.

The real question here, therefore, does not concern the viability of this war substitute, but the political problems involved in bringing it about. It cannot be established while the war system is still in effect. The reason for this is simple:
excess population is tar material. As long as any society must contemplate even a remote possibility of war, it must maintain a maximum supportable population, even when so doing critically aggravates an economic liability. This is paradoxical, in view of war’s role in reducing excess population, but it is
readily understood. War controls the general population level, but the ecological interest of any single society lies in maintaining its hegemony vis-a-vis other societies. The obvious analogy can be seen in any free-enterprise economy. Practices damaging to the society as a whole–both competitive and monopolistic–are abetted by the conflicting economic motives of individual capital interests. The obvious precedent can be found in the seemingly irrational political difficulties which have blacked universal adoption of simple birth control methods. Nations desperately in need of increasing unfavorable production-consumption ratios are nevertheless unwilling to gamble their possible military requirements of twenty years hence for this purpose. Unilateral population control, as practiced in ancient Japan and in other isolated societies, is out of the question in today’s world.

Since the eugenic solution cannot be achieved until the transition to the peace system takes place, why not wait? One must qualify the inclination to agree. As we noted earlier, a real possibility of an unprecedented global crisis of
insufficiency exists today, which the war system may not be able to forestall. If this should come to pass before an agreed-upon transition to peace were completed, the result might be irrevocably disastrous. There is clearly no solution to this dilemma; it is a risk which must be taken. But it tends to support the view that if a decision is made to eliminate the war system, it were better done sooner than later.

  39. Troy Says:

There is another report that was put out towards the end of the Nixon administration….In this report they actually discuss plans / methods for population control….I am still searching for it…It has been hard for me to locate because I don’t know the exact “title” of the report, but rest assured I WILL FIND IT!!!

    “Obama Just Flatters Himself”

    by Charles Krauthammer

    http://townhall.com/columnists/CharlesKrauthammer/2009/01/30/obama_just_flatters_himself

    EXCERPT

George Bush went to the Islamic Center in Washington six days after 9/11, when the fires of Ground Zero were still smoldering, to declare “Islam is peace,” to extend fellowship and friendship to Muslims, to insist that Americans treat them with respect and generosity of spirit.

And America listened. In these seven years since 9/11 — seven years during which thousands of Muslims rioted all over the world (resulting in the death of more than 100) to avenge a bunch of cartoons — there’s not been a single anti-Muslim riot in the United States to avenge the greatest massacre in U.S. history. On the contrary. In its aftermath, we elected our first Muslim member of Congress and our first president of Muslim parentage.

“My job,” says Obama, “is to communicate to the American people that the Muslim world is filled with extraordinary people who simply want to live their lives and see their children live better lives.” That’s his job? Do the American people think otherwise? Does he think he is bravely breaking new ground? George Bush, Condoleezza Rice and countless other leaders offered myriad expressions of that same universalist sentiment.

Every president has the right to portray himself as ushering in a new era of this or that. Obama wants to pursue new ties with Muslim nations, drawing on his own identity and associations. Good. But when his self-inflation as redeemer of U.S.-Muslim relations leads him to suggest that pre-Obama America was disrespectful or insensitive or uncaring of Muslims, he is engaging not just in fiction but in gratuitous disparagement of the country he is now privileged to lead.

    FYI “Bad” Bank

    http://www.thenational.ae/article/20090131/BUSINESS/40339582/-1/NEWS

The centrepiece of the plan appears highly likely to be the bad bank or “aggregator bank”, as some have described it, which would be capitalised with TARP funds. In addition, the banks that sell toxic assets into the bad bank are likely to receive part payment in capital notes or warrants in the bank, which will add a first-loss cushion and, in effect, allow a grace period against mark-to-market losses until the assets mature.

The aggregator bank will then be leveraged up in one of two ways.

The first is to leverage up the amount of assets and risk the bad bank can take off bank balance sheets, and for the bank to issue its own government-guaranteed, asset-backed commercial paper and medium-term notes to gear up by as much as a 10-to-one ratio. Money market funds would be the most natural target investor base.

The second, which is still being discussed, is for the US Federal Reserve to lend against the assets purchased as its collateral, after surrendering a premium for the Fed. Lending its balance sheet to help remove legacy assets from the banks is a highly sensitive policy path for any central bank.

Yeah, it’s pretty simple…It was a bunch of freak bureaucrats discussing what to do about the problem (us) of over population due to the lack of war not killing enough of us off.

Cindy, I have watched that electoral vote count video carefully and I can’t say that I saw anyone making an objection….I also looked at the still shot and it’s not definitive either

  80. justanamericancindy4 Says:

    Troy

there was a static image done of the video… it did show someone raise thier hand…….. but many think it wasn’t anyone EVEN in congress. a staff member ….

why we don’t toss aside anything until we check it out…..

Good grief, you would think those people would have something better to do than commenting on others comments….How lame can one get?….I wonder if they ever thought about searching for the latest news and commenting on that….Holy crap!!!….What a concept!!!

Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice. Well thanks for the interpretation. On another note, I just watched the electoral vote video, again, and I have to say that what I see is; a man smiling and waving as most of the others clap. It seems the timing coincides with the officiality of the whole, damn, stupid, phucktarded, cheaters- win- it- all travestry, otherwise known as, “I won”, by Barry Soetoro.
    *shrugs*

I love a good controversy and I just do not see one there.
Ahem, besides of course the Big Black Hole (so to speak)I described above, but enough already.

    bbl~

  83. Troy Says:

I know…like I said, I couldn’t make heads or tails out of the static photo….As best I could tell, it may have been someone caught still in the act of clapping with his arm slightly elevated…It was just too blurry and inconclusive for me.

  84. justanamericancindy4 Says:

    Troy

nothing confirmed but I did hear that 8 members of congress weren’t there that day…… silent protest?

  85. Troy Says:

    That I can believe

  86. Tenacity Says:

    Troy,
Interesting video. Should be a good discussion point once everyone sees it. I’ve got about 30 more minutes to watch later.

  87. Troy Says:

Through all this, remember that corp dont really pay taxes, it’s figured into the cost of the good or service

Corporate taxes go down, what happens?
    Profits go up
What happens when profits go up?
    1. Price of good/service comes down and/or 2. hire more workers
What happens when good/service comes down? (i know this is a no brainr but, we often deal with the mentally handicapped retarded.
Those goods/services become cheaper, good for the consumer
What happens when more workers are hired, duh, more employment which in turn means……drum rolll……MORE TAX PAYERS. I mean, it’s really simple for those of us with common sense and for those of us who have ran a business before.
Can you get rid of taxes all together, of course not like some douche said someone suggested over here. Thats a no brainr as well.

Now I ask you, where does a person get money for pot when they are sopoverty stricken they are living on a dollar a day? Does it make sense? Or is the more likely scenario that he was set up and he claims? Where is Granny Sarah? No one has seen her since she supposedly came here for the Inauguration. Isn’t it a more likely scenario that Odinga set up George so they could arrest him and hold him? Since he is the half brother of Barry, don’t you think they were worried someone would get him to sign papers to get Barry’s original Birth Certifcate?

This way, Barry isn’t shamed by not helping his own half brother and leaving him living in abject poverty and he’s out of the way so no one cna get him to sign papers. This way they can stage a fake prison fight and off him and Barry can say, well, he was in prison for a crime. Funny how it is the same crime he himself committed many times in his youth at the same age.

Doesn’t anyone besides me see the irony and horror in this story? I find it absolutely appalling. And now Auntie is not getting deported, even though she was ordered deported over 2 years ago?
