Ride The Wind

RIDE THE WIND LET YOUR DREAMS BLOW

IN THE STREAM OF THE WIND FLOW

YOU WILL KNOW THE REASON WHY I RIDE THE WIND

RIDE THE WIND LEAVE YOUR MIND BEHIND

FEEL THE RUSH OF SUSPENDED TIME

WHAT GETS YOU HIGH

AND THATS WHY I RIDE THE WIND

SEE THE COLORS FLASHING LIKE A RAINBOW

DriNK THEM IN UNTIL YOUR SENSES OVERFLOW

AND YOU WILL FIND THAT YOU CAN GROW BY LETTING GO

letting go

RIDE THE WIND hear it whisper low

YOU can FEEL ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW

BE OPEN EYED AND OPEN WIDE

And ride the wind

The Silence

Listen to the silence,
Hear it whisper low,
Feel it all around you,
See it softly glow,

Taste its sweetest moment,
Devour its tender kiss,
Bathe in all its glory,
Wallow in its bliss,

Touch it like a tendril,
Greet it with a sigh,
Listen to the silence,
As it gently passes by.

Cindy, I looked at the site and I can tell you worked hard on it. You may want to change the “your” to “you’re” (you are).

Also, did you watch the electoral count video? I watched the first few mins. and then ff to the 20 min mark, then rw to the 18 minute mark all the way to the 22 minute mark and saw nothing that was described in “your” post, from OC.

Troy, do you have Ten’s addy? Also, do you ever listen to George Noory?

Is anyone listening to Hannity? I just heard him say that he is diversifying and bought MORE GOLD today.
I also heard that it is possible to exchange $ in 401 k’s to GOLD. I have my work cut out for me this weekend to convince hubby to exchange what’s left in our retirement for GOLD. Well, I could just start right off by*cough*

slider, I did see this earlier.

I hope you are getting needed help.

This is a very personal question, but, do you have blood in your urine?

I only ask this because my daughter recently had to deal with a similar situation.

You can imagine I was beside myself with worry.

But the prescribed medicine helped a lot.

Also cutting out most dairy products seemed to help as well.

    Seems she is lactose intolerant.

Anyway, I know you’ve had a tough time of it lately, slider.

New baby, no unemployment, now this!

Just wanted you to know you are in my thoughts and prayers.

I also heard there were around 8 missing that day….. silent protest?

  14. j.b. Says:

Okay, Troy, but burning money to keep warm?

So, I heard a caller on Noory’s show last night and could not help-(speaking of tin foil hats)-but listen. This guy calls up and swears that he has a “hanger on” or something from “out there” attached to him. He had recently lost his mother and was going about his bidnez when he had a seizure of some sort. He then goes on to describe that during this seizure, he had a vision. During the vision he sees his Mother and next to her is this gargoyle lookin’ thing-he asks his wife (who is there with him during the seizure but does not know he is having a vision) “What is that”? His wife answers, “John So and so”. He then enters his house through a wall. (but not really)
    *shrugs*

So, he has another seizure a week or so later and during this one, the radio is on in the background and a news report mentioned Obama’s name. So, the gargoyle thing says’ “Oh, Bam Bam or Boo Boo Barry was a bad boy growing up”.

Then he goes on to say, “He (or Barry) is going to bring (or do) bad things in the future”.
Or, “Barry will bring bad things to us soon”.

(Bear with me, as I am trying to recall this from memory from 4 this mornin’.)

Anyhoo, I think it’s interesting that EVEN Alien Gargoyles are suspicious of Barry/Barack Soetoro/Obama !

  22. Tenacity Says:

    Troy,
There is equal belief that the secret session did in fact discuss foreign intelligence and surveillance. Particularly, good intel that those suitcase nukes are in the states. The meeting only lasted an hour. It seems unrealistic that the issues presented by Herzong could be covered in 1 hour. Here is the debate on the house floor prior to the meeting.

DA Kucinich refused to attend the secret session and then spoke speculative the following day about it. What a loser.

Thermostat a Sign that Global Warming Not a Serious Concern?

Or this another case of do as I say, not as I do?

Obama and Co. demonstrate the new White House informality in Oval Office meeting!

Forget for a moment what a contrast Obama and these men in shirt sleeves in the Oval Office make with the Bush and Reagan years when a certain reverence for the Oval Office meant formal attire was required. It’s the reason the men need to strip off their coats that intrigues me:

White House Unbuttons Formal Dress Code
    By SHERYL GAY STOLBERG
    New York Times
    January 28, 2009

WASHINGTON — The capital flew into a bit of a tizzy when, on his first full day in the White House, President Obama was photographed in the Oval Office without his suit jacket. There was, however, a logical explanation: Mr. Obama, who hates the cold, had cranked up the thermostat.

“He’s from Hawaii, O.K.?” said Mr. Obama’s senior adviser, David Axelrod, who occupies the small but strategically located office next door to his boss. “He likes it warm. You could grow orchids in there.”

This from a man who said:

“We can’t drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times … and then just expect that other countries are going to say OK,” Obama said.

“That’s not leadership. That’s not going to happen,” he added.

Obama may need to ride in carbon belching armored cars and fly around on a 747 for security reasons. But there’s no security requirement for the thermostat in the oval office to be set to replicate a green house.

Just another example of the personal leadership Obama demonstrates on environmental issues. Rules are meant to be followed by the little people. Not him. Is that leadership?

  34. igaveup Says:

he’s lived more in the cold states than hawaii?

This would all be quite comical if it wasn’t so serious. Perhaps we are in the Twilight Zone. Somebody is going to get hurt before this is over. It is just too insane and immoral. Too many are involved in the scam. I fear it will not go away without a physical fight. I pray that Leo is right that it can be dealt with intellectually. I pray all the democrats on the right side of this battle are right…that they have enough on Obama to bring the whole house of cards down. The question that keeps gnawing at me is: If all 3 branches are this deep in the fraud and complicit in negating the constitution, then who is going to lock these people up? We don’t have good organized state militias and the general public hasn’t figured out the benefit of Committees of Safety yet. We need between 15% & 20% of the voting public to stand together in order to successfully force redress. Most of the somewhat organized group are operating from a position of pride – “do it my way.” Who is going to lock these lying-power mongering money sluts up?

    1. You attach the WTPC blog to your nic, so that wherever you go, blogs, etc, it is with you and you leave it behind when you go. I click on names ALL the time to check out other blogs. Which brings me to….

2.When you go to blogs, check out their blog roll and visit those blogs and post there, too.

    3. Come up with a short ad, like what Katie did, and put that ALL OVER the aformentioned places to get the word out.

Good point in your 4:47am post. You’ve pointed out the obvious. We now have bigger crooks leading the crooks. Who is going to lock them up? Who is going to be brave enough, strong enough to stop the insanity?

But, as my mother used to say, in a house of cards it only takes one little slight of hand to bring the whole house tumbling down.

I hope that is the case here. Maybe the Blago thing will turn out to be a blessing in disguise. He may sing like the little birdies…

  45. Tenacity Says:

    Patriotamy,
I realize my comments were obvious. It’s just that people don’t seem to quite grasp what is obvious. We all have to pull together to turn this around. If we don’t pull together and work from a position of strength (like Reagan preached) then we will eventually have to come to blows and it will be ugly. As bright as Leo Donofrio is, he deludes himself thinking that this house of cards will be brought down with intellect alone. The USSR defeated itself, but it was strong worldwide opinion that help break the camels back. Peace through strength…we need a lot of people pulling together. If we have 15 to 20% knowing and ready, then the rest will have to listen.

Hillary Clinton Constitutionally Ineligible to Serve as Secretary of State

Judicial Watch, the public interest group that investigates and prosecutes government corruption, announced today that it has filed a lawsuit against newly sworn-in Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton on behalf of U.S. Foreign Service Officer and State Department employee David C. Rodearmel, (Rodearmel v. Clinton, et al., (D. District of Columbia)). The lawsuit maintains that Mrs. Clinton is constitutionally ineligible to serve as Secretary of State and that Mr. Rodearmel cannot be forced to serve under the former U.S. Senator, as it would violate the oath he took as a Foreign Service Officer in 1991 to “support and defend” and “bear true faith and allegiance” to the Constitution of the United States.

A couple of days later, Al Gore is running with his buddy Bill Clinton and he spies the same boy with his box just ahead. Al says to Bill, “You gotta check this out,” and they both jog over to the boy with the box. Al says, “Look in the box Bill, isn’t that cute? Look at those little kittens. Hey, kid, tell my friend Bill what kind of kittens they are.” The boy replies, “They’re Republicans.”

A little boy goes to his dad and asks, “What is politics?”

Dad says, “Well son, let me try to explain it this way: I’m the breadwinner of the family, so let’s call me capitalism. Your Mom, she’s the administrator of the money, so we’ll call her the Government. We’re here to take care of your needs, so we’ll call you the people. The nanny, we’ll consider her the Working Class. And your baby brother, we’ll call him the Future. Now, think about that and see if that makes sense.” So the little boy goes off to bed thinking about what dad had said.

Later that night, he hears his baby brother crying, so he gets up to check on him. He finds that the baby has severely soiled his diaper. So the little boy goes to his parents’ room and finds his mother sound asleep. Not wanting to wake her, he goes to the nanny’s room. Finding the door locked, he peeks in the keyhole and sees his father in bed with the nanny. He gives up and goes back to bed. The next morning, the little boy says to his father, “Dad, I think I understand the concept of politics now.” The father says, “Good son, tell me in your own words what you think politics is all about.”

The little boy replies, “Well, while Capitalism is screwing the Working Class, the Government is sound asleep, the People are being ignored and the Future is in deep shit.”

More Republican Triangulating On Bipartisanship: Cantor Responds To White House

House Republicans are reacting strongly to reports that the White House plans a political onslaught to pressure Republicans into supporting the stimulus package and to punish those who don’t.

House Republican Whip Eric Cantor (R-VA) will soon issue a statement contending that Obama’s promise to “put an end to petty politics” is “threatened” as the White House and their allies “are making political threats rather than crafting a bipartisan economic stimulus plan.”

He’ll call on Obama to “immediately disavow” plans by liberal interest groups who have announced their intention to run attack ads against the Republicans. These groups, organized under the Americans United for Change umbrella, coordinate regularly with Congressional Democrats and are in touch with White House officials.

Earlier, an Obama aide said that the White House was not directly involved in these most recent efforts and had not encouraged its allies. The plans were reported in the Politico by its chief political reporter, Mike Allen.

“Let us be clear: attack ads will not create jobs or help struggling families but will only serve to undermine our nation’s desire for bipartisanship. Instead of thinking about winning at any cost, we should all be thinking about creating the jobs Americans need,” Cantor intends to say.

    BREAKING NEWS

This had been discussed some weeks and months ago. But I figured it was dead because she was already sworn in. Well now we have an actual State Dept employee heading this lawsuit! What a brave soul!!

Whatever happens here, it will at least blow wide open the doors to officially discuss the concept of “constitutional eligibility” and the consequences of not following this supreme law of the land.

Keep an eye on this one folks – expect some MAJOR FIREWORKS.

    Washington, DC — January 29, 2009

    Cindy,
I hope neither of them ever see your comments here. When I have feelings that I know are unhealthy and can’t seem to control them on my own, I give ’em over to the Holy Spirit to take care of for me. Amazing how that lifts the burden from me and helps me to do what is right. My mind is a dangerous place and I don’t want it condemning my soul. I play too close to the edge sometimes…it is a mistake.

safe in that,….. neither would come here…. neither even know the name of the blog

  76. justanamericancindy4 Says:

Glad at the moment that Fox isn’t here…….
But I was wondering when someone was going to FINALLY say something about Hillery, her appointment not allowable by the constitution…

But Hmmmm makes me wonder,… was BO being sneaky and now making sure she is out of politics completely?

Or will this have the potential to open up the constitution bag of worms

  77. patriotamy Says:

JAC, maybe someone was being a little sneaky about putting her in anyway, knowing that it was possible that someone would press the issue? NAW, could it be that there is some fight left in some of the repubs on Capital hill?? And, they know that Hill won’t go down without a fight??

  78. justanamericancindy4 Says:

    Amy

    I see it as a possible good thing,… a couple of possibilities……
But it is something clear cut in the Constitution….

It was allowed once before I think with Nixon…. they took a paycut..and congress allowed the appointment……BUT I think that was agreed on BEFORE the appointment was granted…… so this makes it different

  79. Tenacity Says:

    Cindy,
An article on the possibility of the Hillary lawsuit bringing down the whole constitutional house of cards/can of worms would be perfect for WTPC Blog. Give it a shot will ya? Post it as a thread Lead. If you don’t have time or desire, I can ask Bobby Florentz to write something up. Have you checked out his editorials over at the OC Register? I will send you some info via email.

maybe we aren’t in this battle alone…

  81. justanamericancindy4 Says:

    Ten

I will give you an answer in the morning…..

I like the last paragraph in the article…..quite telling

“This historic legal challenge should remind politicians of both parties that the U.S. Constitution
is not to be trifled with,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “Mrs. Clinton is constitutionally ineligible to serve as the U.S. Secretary of State until at least 2013, when her second term in the U.S. Senate expires. We hope the courts will put a stop to these end runs around the Constitution and affirm the rule of law.”

  82. justanamericancindy4 Says:

    BO and Hill already tiffing….

    http://www.talkleft.com/story/2008/1/30/23229/8465

  83. Tenacity Says:

Yes, but who will be under the bus when it is all said and done? One, the other or both? In my mind, Hillary is the most dangerous politician alive. BS has only bumped off a fag that I know of, Hill has a list of people that are no longer with us or have fled the country to save their bacon.

  84. justanamericancindy4 Says:

The claws could come out,…… and BO,… well anything bad said able him and he goes into a fit…….

    yep yep yep……… popcorn time

  86. Tenacity Says:

Another Reason to boycott Pepsi products
    ____________
Pepsi is now using its TV spots to promote the gay lifestyle. AFA asked Pepsi to remain neutral in the culture war. Pepsi refused. The company said it will continue major financial support of homosexual organizations seeking to legalize homosexual marriage.

Pepsi gave $500,000 to the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), the largest and most powerful gay lobbying group in America. The company also gave $500,000 to Parents, Families, and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG). The total gift of $1,000,000 to the two homosexual activist groups was to help promote the gay lifestyle in the workplace.

After Pepsi gave their money to HRC, HRC gave $2.3 million to oppose California’s Prop 8, an initiative which defined marriage as being between one man and one woman.

Pepsi also forces its employees to attend sexual orientation and gender identity diversity training, where they are taught to accept homosexuality.

Pelosi-Reid-Obama Spending Bill: $150,000,000 For ‘Honey Bee Insurance’?!

    Posted by: Matt

I kid you not. $150,000,000 in earmarks and pork for “honey bee insurance” was stuffed into a dark corner of the latest version of the Pelosi-Reid-Obama spending / debt bill. (Full text here.) Honey bee insurance?!

Senate Republicans released these new highlights of your tax payer dollars being spent under the guise of economic stimulus. They were also kind enough to remind us what Barack Obama had promised, swore, to the American people days ago:

“We Will Ban All Earmarks In The Recovery Package.”
    – Barack Obama, Press Conference, 1/6/09

Here are just six points in the bill:

$20 million “for the removal of small- to medium-sized fish passage barriers.” (Pg. 45 of Senate Appropriations Committee report: “20,000,000 for the removal of small- to medium-sized fish passage barriers)

$400 million for STD prevention (Pg. 60 of Senate Appropriations Committee report: “CDC estimates that a proximately 19 million new STD infections occur annually in the United States …The Committee has included $400,000,000 for testing and prevention of these conditions.”)

$25 million to rehabilitate off-roading (ATV) trails (Pg. 45 of Senate Appropriations Committee report: “$25,000,000 is for recreation maintenance, especially for rehabilitation of off-road vehicle routes, and $20,000,000 is for trail maintenance and restoration”)

$34 million to remodel the Department of Commerce HQ (Pg. 15 of Senate Appropriations Committee report: $34,000,000 for the Department of Commerce renovation and modernization”)

$70 million to “Support Supercomputing Activities” for climate research (Pgs. 14-15 of Senate Appropriations Committee Report: $70,000,000 is directed to specifically support supercomputing activities, especially as they relate to climate research)

$150 million for honey bee insurance (Pg. 102 of Senate Appropriations Committee report: “The Secretary shall use up to $ 50,000,000 per year, and $150,000,000 in the case of 2009, from the Trust Fund to provide emergency relief to eligible producers of livestock, honey bees, and farm-raised fish to aid in the reduction of losses due to disease, adverse weather, or other conditions, such as blizzards and wildfires, as determined by the Secretary”)

  125. igaveup Says:

Thanks for answering my question. I didn’t think that I missed it. I would love to see a shot of it, especially with the current Presidents “reach-out” to Islam and Muslim countries.
