EXCERPT

The Democrats now own Iraq. They own the war on al-Qaeda. And they own the panoply of anti-terror measures with which the Bush administration kept us safe these past seven years.

Which is why Obama is consciously creating a gulf between what he now dismissively calls “campaign rhetoric” and the policy choices he must make as president. Accordingly, Newsweek — Obama acolyte and scourge of everything Bush/Cheney — has on the eve of the Democratic restoration miraculously discovered the arguments for warrantless wiretaps, enhanced interrogation and detention without trial. Indeed, Newsweek’s neck-snapping cover declares, “Why Obama May Soon Find Virtue in Cheney’s Vision of Power.”

Obama will be loath to throw away the tools that have kept the homeland safe. Just as he will be loath to jeopardize the remarkable turnaround in American fortunes in Iraq.

Obama opposed the war. But the war is all but over. What remains is an Iraq turned from aggressive, hostile power in the heart of the Middle East to an emerging democracy openly allied with the United States. No president would want to be responsible for undoing that success.

In Iraq, Bush rightly took criticism for all that went wrong — the WMD fiasco, Abu Ghraib, the descent into bloody chaos in 2005-06. Then Bush goes to Baghdad to ratify the ultimate post-surge success of that troubled campaign — the signing of a strategic partnership between the United States and Iraq — and ends up dodging two size 10 shoes for his pains.

Absorbing that insult was Bush’s final service on Iraq. Whatever venom the war generated is concentrated on Bush himself. By having personalized the responsibility for the awfulness of the war, Bush has done his successor a favor. Obama enters office with a strategic success on his hands — while Bush leaves the scene taking a shoe for his country.

Which I suspect is why Bush showed such equanimity during a private farewell interview at the White House a few weeks ago. He leaves behind the sinews of war, for the creation of which he has been so vilified but which will serve his successor — and his country — well over the coming years. The very continuation by Democrats of Bush’s policies will be grudging, if silent, acknowledgment of how much he got right.

EXCERPT

Hugh Hewitt: Why the virulent hatred towards Bush?

Charles Krauthammer: You combine a sense of usurpation with a sense of illegitimate war and even war criminality in the eyes of some of the loony left, and you get a residue of the bitterness that you are talking about.

RosettaSister here: I keep hearing this same question being asked over and over again. Why not ask about the bitterness I and many others still feel toward these Bush-haters?

And that bitterness was magnified a hundred fold given that we were a nation at war, are a nation at war.

I don’t know about you, dear reader. But I’m still pretty bitter.

Bush has always been a good and decent man and even magnanimous toward those that opposed him. The example that he has set for the rest of us would be a good one to follow.

If only I weren’t so bitter.

Hello All! Just peeking in and wanted to give one bit of advice, for what it is worth.

You know I am in the “good fight” with all of you, and have been for about a year, despite our obvious political affiliations. One of the reasons people keep coming to this blog, Dems and Republicans, is because we don’t seem so “fringe”, we almost always respect each other even if we don’t always agree, and we stay on topic.

Whether you all realize it or not, we have become a “go to” site for the Obama citizenship issue for many, many people. All party affiliations come to read/lurk to see what new tidbits we have come up with. For the most part, we are bipartisan/non-partisan and people seem to like and respect that. However, when we start bringing in discussions of violence and militias, we lose credibility with most of our readers, but most importantly, we go off topic. Obama is hoping we will all forget about the issue of him not being natural born here, and move on to other topics. I have appointed myself the “stay on topic monitor” for this site.

We have done some incredible research relating to Obama’s farce on America! Let’s see this thing through for the sake of America and the Constitution! Are you with me or agin’ me?!?!?

Wow! It took a Chinese guy, who became Indonesian to state the Indonesian law so clearly. Here is his post.

When I surfing the net, I realized one thing that funny. The funniest thing is American is so stupid and not see thing through. By his own word on his memoir on Dreams of My Father he told us already about his child hood in Indonesia, that’s make me wake up with this anxiety. Here’s the fact of the blog I see before on my surfing for Obama as Indonesian”

No need any extreme details sir, just look at this fact below.
Although I’m an Indonesian and I loved to supported Barack Obama as the US President, but I prefer that all nation in the world is lead by their own people (having true nationality). I know by saying all of this things, I might called traitor by my own countryman but I think the truth shall set us free.
I learned about his past in Indonesia, and guess what; in Indonesia especially back on that era during late 60’s up to late 70’s, Indonesia was on power struggle between Soekarno and Soeharto. as Zhou yue my relative said on texasdralin:
You got it 100% right sir. He is an Indonesian. Why, For the law. Period. When he stay and went to school on the public school, the law also said that only Indonesian that had all the right to go to the public school. The other shall required SKBRI (Surat Keterangan Berkewarganegaraan Indonesia/ Letter for acknowledge of Indonesian citizenship) which practically applied the most on the Chinese and foreigner that mostly were non Muslim origins. However for his step father were native Indonesian, then his mother automatically could become Indonesian too. As well as he. Remember this, once you become Indonesian, then you must revoke your old nationality, period. As a Chinese man and former Indonesian citizen I dare to speak for this. As 3 richax said:

This is where your logic falls apart:

Now while Indonesia does not allow children over the age of five to be adopted, so far as I can tell, it does recognize that other countries do so. There is a provision covering that:

“A foreign child aged below 21 and unmarried, who is adopted by an Indonesian, will be eligible for Indonesian citizenship if the process does not cause dual citizenship.”

So it is possible to adopt a child abroad under the Laws of another country, for example the USA, and that child could be of any age. But, you say, if you adopt an American child that IS causing Dual Citizenship. In the real world the rest of us live in, yes, but in Indonesian Law:

“his or her relationship to the birth parents is severed by adoption”

    From your endnote 3:
Therefore he is Indonesian and truly must not has any right once so ever to even went to this race. Why, because our nation law forbid that unless that child is not revoke his nationality when he become Indonesian, while his parents is 100% certainly must revoke his old nationality in order to get him to school in Indonesia. Lolo Sutoro is not a stupid man after all. Only us the Americans is the biggest fools.
And allowed me to write his base on his argument base on Indonesian constitution translation:
    Pasal 31
    (1) Tiap-tiap warga negara berhak mendapat pengajaran.
    (2) Pemerintah mengusahakan dan menyelenggarakan satu sistem pengajaran nasional, yang diatur dengan undang-undang.
    Article 31:
    1. Every citizen (Indonesian citizen) have right to gain education.
    2. Government shall provide and create a national education system, which applied by law.
By this original Indonesian constitution, has stated clear that only Indonesian that had access to studying on public school. And since Indonesia don’t apply dual nationality, means he must drop his US nationality first before he become Indonesian. After I seen the AP picture that contains his school cerfiticate, now I convinced that he is truly is Indonesian. I also read about the US constitution and I think this man, no matter how bright he is and how proud I’m had he become the US president must not become the US President at all.

I wish you had been listening to Dr. Edwin Vieira on Plains Radio last evening. It was perhaps one of the best blogtalk shows I’ve ever heard (save one caller from Colorado). You need to get up to speed on constitutional state malitias. These are not fringe, they are mandated in our constitution and carry substantial constitutional authority. We are not talking about unorganized fringe groups. We are talking about true state representation. Doc V’s book called Constitutional Home Land Security explains the importance and value of these. Please check it out. Listen to the archive of last evenings show. Thank You and Yes, I agree that we need to stay focused and on task and non-partisan. However, we can still have a lot of fun.

  16. Rob Says:

Perhaps I’m too simplistic in my thinking, but I thought the focus of this “movement” was to resuscitate the Constitution from the death rattle imposed upon it by evil men and women who embrace a most treacherous agenda. Anybody who has watched the video regarding the IRS that Troy or Tenacity posted (forgive me, I don’t recall which one ) cannot, by any measure, deny that the mission is far greater than just keeping Obama out of office. The reason he has succeeded in perpetrating his fraud is because of the intentional and nefarious assault on our Constitution. Whether he stays in office or not, I don’t see how We the People can rest until the government is back in the hands of the citizens and our Constitution is healthy and fully revived. How can we ever go back to business as usual with all the information that has been brought to light? The dedicated work of those “voices crying in the wilderness” has slowly begun to bring us back to our senses: perhaps a trickle here, a trickle there, but it only takes a spark to light a fire.

Proposing the abandonment of civil and respectful discussion, regardless of topic, is no different than the play book of the main stream media and what appears to be the government’s criminal intention. However genuinely motivated, it is censorship. If people are offended by free speech, then they’re offended. They’ll either see the light and join the fight or they’ll go off and bury themselves in the narrow minded, comfortable confines of their fragile, easily insulted partisan boxes. How wonderful that they have the freedom of choice to do so.

Just my two cents… for what it’s worth.

Thank you, Rosetta, for this blog. Your graciousness does not go unnoticed. 🙂

  17. Foxtrot Says:

  19. Foxtrot Says:

But Rob, if we don’t get him out of office, he will have the power to affect change that is contrary to the Constitution. If his allegiances lie with another country, than removing him from office IS the priority. I don’t disagree with you that some of these other issues are not important, but the tip of the mountain is Obama. Right now, he can do the most damage as President. As we all know, all the other methods of resolution take far more time than removing him as POTUS. We don’t have to reinvent the wheel with doing that because we already have such a huge head start! That is what this blog set out to do, and instead of splitting our resources to move to another method, we need to finish what we set out to do, and that is to remove Obama from the White House. For God’s sake, he is talking about “changing the Constitution”, throwing out our national anthem, “changing the Declaration of Independence”, the list goes on and on! To get the other “causes” up and running will take a long time—time we may not have to make sure Obama’s immediate modifications to our country will not occur first. That is what I am saying.

  20. Foxtrot Says:

Rob, I don’t remember what General or military leader said this but it was something to the effect of . . . “why splinter your forces when you are unified in a common mission”. I agree with that statement. If you can have 100,000 supporting your cause, why risk splintering your focus and end up with 30,000 because some may not agree with the elements of the splintering? I say we stay on point. That is my humble opinion.

  22. Rob Says:

I understand your point, Fox but focusing ONLY on keeping him out of office won’t change what made it possible for him to achieve this goal in the first place. I agree, that he is ineligible… no doubt about that. I do not see how he is the tip of the iceberg. He hasn’t gotten where he is on his own iniative. That much is clear.

  23. Rob Says:

What has impacted me the most is the realization that this erosion of our freedoms, this killing of the Constitution, didn’t just HAPPEN in this election cycle. It’s been happening for decades.

Do you perchance have your own blog?

  24. Foxtrot Says:

Although I have been asked many times to start one, I do not have a blog. As I said earlier, I am not arguing that your logic about the “root cause” is not correct. However, we know that some of the more immediate issues can be changed by Obama with the sweep of a pen as POTUS. That is why it is imperative we get him exposed as the fraud he is and remove him from office. We are not on differing sides on this, I just feel there is a more immediate danger of him being in office than moving forward with a lengthy process of the broad argument of protecting the Constitution. Just like with Hitler, if he had been removed fairly quickly, history would have looked very different right now.

  25. Foxtrot Says:

Gotta scoot for a bit. I am intentionally avoiding the television until Wednesday so I don’t have to see this schmuck take office. Here’s hoping someone will throw a “Hail Mary” pass and it will not take place! Fitz? Roberts? Berg with your evidence? Any one of them will do.

Fox, if you do start one, make sure and make it public knowledge. I’ll ad it to my ever growing list of resources.

In my humble opinion, he’s already been exposed as a fraud – multiple times. If that’s all it took, he’d already be sitting in solitary somewhere… like Cuba. Am I mistaken in my understanding that removing him is based on argument of his Constitutional eligibility? The Constitution has been in a subtle massage towards extinction for years. We need it to get him disqualified. For Americans, what other method is there?

I believe in one company’s nutritional products and have stocked up just in case. Herbalife makes protein shakes that are a complete tasty meal and all you need to add is water. It’s a good way to keep the family fed and healthy, and save money without storage issues.

a gas generator is always a good idea……. running a freezer 1 hour a day will keep things frozen inside…. having a few car batteries and a charger is good……and a inverter to run a few things if no electricity at all…..

I’ve been poking around on other sites today and reading the comments alot. New names are showing up, new voices are being heard. And the VAST majority are getting informed and fed up. I believe this narcissistic show in DC is waking some people up to what they didn’t want to see, and the Obots are either off duty from their blogging (so they can go drink more KoolAid), or they can’t keep up with all the voices.

AmericasRight.com has a lot of respect, so I read this story and the attached comments. If you need a little hope that people are getting tee’d off, read the comments after the story.

OK, I’ve avoided house cleaning as long as possible. Will check in later. I need to get a better feel for WeThePeopleCongress.org, and watch the movie on their website.

Thank you for this, Rose. I just saw the picture of the American Flag being desicrated by Obots via Barry’s picture ON THEM! OMGOSH! I AM SO DISGUSTED BY THAT!
And then I came here to see the pic of W, what you wrote and I literally broke down crying.
I try not to be bitter…..it ain’t easy. I will not sit idly by and listen to the derangement,(as some of you already know) which is all I can really do. I certainly do not want to become “one of them”, either, as far as Barry goes. Although, I do not think it is the same, at all. But the energy and emotion it takes to harbor the negative feelings is exhausting. So, to take care of me, I must remind myself I am not in charge of the world AND neither IS Barry Soetoro- BUT GOD IS!
Sometimes that helps. Exercise does, too. A nice long bike ride to NOWHERE does wonders for me lately. 🙂

I am commited (like so many others have said here) to NOT watching television for the next 4 days-well, not “NEWS”. I’m pretty sure that will now have to include DRUDGE. I just can’t take it. I refuse to participate in it.

This is my guess (and I am saying this is a guess — until shown otherwise)

    CD = Customs Declaration
E 509B i = Federal Regulation for “Duty Free Purchases”
    TE = Tax Exempt
    CX = Currency Exchange

    S = Sterling (British Currency)
    S = Shillings (Coins)
    P = Pound Notes

“Q” is used in lieu of periods or amounts.

My guess this is a report of British Currency for exchange upon arrival, reported aboard an aircraft before landing.

    Troy et al,
Time is of the essence. It would be wonderful if well-regulated state militias existed. Unfortunately they don’t and it would take a prohibitive length of time to gain the support necessary and to organize them prior to convening a Continental Congress. It would no doubt make a Continental Congress much more powerful. Establishing the state militias is definitely necessary as we go forward. Notice in the Summit Call below, one of the Petitions of Redress that have been served upon the members of Congress and completely ignored is the constitutionally mandated existence of well-regulated state militias. At this time, it is necessary to establish delegates and hold a Continental Congress to establish the plan of action which will include the re-establishment of the organized state militias and a whole lot more. By bringing a National Focus on the issues and putting forth the plan of protest (peaceful revolution), we will draw the line in the sand for the governments refusal to even respond to the petitions much less provide redress. Also note that one of the 2 major purposes of the CC is to demand the re-establishment of the well-regulated state militias. Consider the consequences of waiting until after our new Marxist regime is allowed to establish its Civilian Security Force. Not only will they be able to crack down on those in opposition, but our new usurping PE has stated that he intends to fund his Brown Shirts as well as our military and force our youth to be indoctrinated and drafted into service. We must not wait…we must educate people and make our demands manifest on a national scale. Thus, now is the time for the first modern day Continental Congress! After the action plan is derived from this CC, then well-regulated state militias will be established and another CC can be held in the not too distant future that will carry significantly more weight should the government not acknowledge the existing petitions and provide redress.

    “Summit Call”

In our article posted here on December 5, 2008, we asked, “What must a free people do, and what is the appropriate next step, if Mr. Obama refuses to respond to our Open Letter and the Supreme Court refuses to hear the Petitions by attorneys Donofrio, Berg and Taitz challenging Obama’s citizenship status?”

A violation of the “natural born citizen” clause of the Constitution by Mr. Obama is so egregious and blatant in its nature that it marks the overt and wholesale abandonment of the Constitution by the Government, making this our “capstone grievance,” capping even the other abusive Constitutional violations this Foundation has sought to correct.

Since 1995, we have repeatedly and respectfully Petitioned the Government for Redress of its violations. We have established an overwhelming and irrefutable historic record of numerous, continuing violations by the Government and its steadfast refusal to justify its behavior or be held accountable in any way. For instance:
    ……….
In light of the Second Amendment, the absence of well-regulated state militias is unconstitutional.
    …………
In light of the First Amendment, Government officials are obligated to respond to the People’s Petitions for Redress of Grievances/violations of the Constitution.

When a long train of abuses, usurpations and refusals to respond to Petitions for Redress of violations of the Constitution evinces a conspiracy to transition our Constitutional Republic to a pure democracy, or to otherwise strip us of our Liberties and reduce us to serfdom under absolute despotism, it is the right of the People to alter the Government, pro-actively, non-violently and with critical mass.

Since 1995, we have repeatedly and respectfully Petitioned the Government for Redress of these violations of the Constitution. Our Petitions for Redress have been answered only by a conspiracy of silence and repeated injuries. The Government has refused to justify its behavior or be held accountable.

The record is so clear and unambiguous that it leaves no room for questioning it or grasping the full import of its consequences: The servants have taken over the house that our Creator built.

What must a Free People do? What must be deemed the appropriate next step?

I agree with much of your post, Ten. I will say that I have been complacent, until this past year. I am also guilty of TRUSTING TOO MANY, TOO MUCH! That has now ended.

We must not lose focus of the fact that this has been a slow burn, pile on effect, if you will, and WE DID NOT DO THIS! (I know we allowed it, but that part is over) The bastards in D.C. have done this to US! I strongly believe that it took something THIS HUGE and detrimental to US, as a society, in order for US to go about figuring’ out how to STOP it.

I mean, look at it this way, WE are now speaking in terms of ACTION. Taking action, even. Virtual (literally) strangers on the internet, with a common cause, working on a plan of action!

    That gives me inspiration.

Now, we know that GOD has a plan, and that our collective heads are OUT of the sand. Everyone here that believes in GOD and wants to do something to help in this mess we’re in (that means you, too, lurkers) -Please pray every day for CLARITY and GUIDANCE.

Unless your understanding of “where he is coming” from means remedial education, Mr. Continetti’s piece (Misreading History, Weekly Standard) is a piece all right. A piece worthy of a courtesy flush condemning it to the bowels of a septic tank, of which I feel sorry for the septic tank.

This election has proven (we’ve all seen the youtube of the Obama voters) that we now have an exclusively democratic form of government.

    excerpt from

    http://www.capmag.com/article.asp?ID=3388

    by Alexander Marriot

“A democracy is government by the majority. There is still a restricted group of citizens in a democracy, but this group rules directly and personally runs the state. The group may delegate specific tasks to individuals, such as generalships and governorships, but there is no question that the ruling force in a democracy is not a charter (if there even is a charter), but the vote of the majority. Democracies are free only if the people know what freedom is and are consistent in their application of it. If they don’t know this, or more appropriately, if a majority of the people don’t know this, then a democracy could be just as tyrannical as the worst dictator (see Socrates’ forced suicide by the Athenian democracy.)”

It wasn’t as much an “incompetent government” as it is an “incompetent public.”

The public voted based on what they think will “get” them more.

Either I’m getting paranoid or I’m getting smarter. I found this thru Larry Sinclair’s blog, and it makes me wonder why Google doesn’t want to allow any video uploading? Perhaps so the MSM can control what is seen this weekend more than they already do?

I need to dig a little deeper to verify, but I’ll probably have to use Google to do that, and they’re on my boycott list.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The incoming Obama administration is considering setting up a government-run bank to acquire bad assets clogging the financial system, a person familiar with the Obama team’s thinking said on Saturday.

The U.S. Federal Reserve, Treasury and Federal Deposit Insurance Corp have been in talks about ways to ease a banking crisis that is once again deepening — and a government-run “aggregator bank” is among the options.

Outgoing Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson and FDIC Chairman Sheila Bair both said on Friday a government bank was one of a number of ideas U.S. regulators had been discussing.

The source said advisers to President-elect Barack Obama, who takes office on Tuesday, were also considering the idea of an aggregator bank among a range of options that could be pursued.

David Axelrod, a top adviser to Obama, told Reuters the new administration would have something to say about a fresh approach to the financial crisis in “the next few days.”

“I’m not going to get into the structure of how we’re going to approach the revamped financial rescue package,” Axelrod said after speaking to a conference of mayors in Washington.

“What we have to do is approach this with a lot more transparency on the front end.”

Well, I feel better. We’re going to have a “lot more transparency on the front end.”

  143. justanamericancindy4 Says:

  144. Tenacity Says:

    Cindy,
Any specific questions that anyone has, I will be happy to pose for a direct response. WTPF has been bucking the system legally for many years. Whether they have been within the law has not mattered. Anyone that doesn’t believe we are in a police state is simply naive, including me to some extent not too long ago. As this heats up, it will only get tougher. No place for cowards or anyone afraid of being laughed at. We need some training and I will be happy to ask for the help. As a matter of fact, I will ask now.

    Troy et al,
Did you know that Sam Houston was a drunk most of his life? When he became a Christian late in life, they took him down to the river to be baptized. A large crowd gathered for the event. When the preacher immersed him and brought him out of the water, the minister said “Sam, all your sins have been washed away.” Sam said, “Then God save the little fishes.” True Story.

Have you read Michener’s “Texas?” Great historically accurate read that begins in Ireland to Tennesse to Nachez Trace to Texas. Much of the history on the site you posted is in it.

Did you find anything on the Texas State Militia on there. I scanned quickly but didn’t find it. I thought Sdee or ddlew mentioned it being there.

for some reason, all the links you post here are truncated and won’t load up…what’s up with that? 🙂

  195. Katie Says:

    Morning Gang,

Several good questions are popping up, and that’s good to see. Re: American Solutions, I have always appreciated Newt Gingrich’s common sense approach to things, love the ideas for energy and the economy, and welcome any organization who is working to reverse the course we are on from a Constitutional Republic to a socialist Democracy. Republic? Democracy? What’s the Difference? (hint, it becomes blatantly obvious to the world on Tuesday.)

    http://www.capmag.com/article.asp?ID=3388

My question for Newt is this. Since you are so influential in the nation’s political scene, why didn’t YOU stand up and defend this nation against the violation of the Constitution? So right now, in my book, he’s also part of the problem.

As Thomas Jefferson stated, “Who will govern the governors? There is only one force in the nation that can be depended upon to keep the government pure and the governors honest, and that is the people themselves. They alone, if well informed, are capable of preventing the corruption of power, and of restoring the nation to its rightful course if it should go astray. They alone are the safest depository of the ultimate powers of government.”

Wow! His words from 220+ years ago sound like they were written last night. As I’m just beginning to learn, the biggest problem Bob Schulz and WeThePeopleFoundation.org, and citizens face is the ignorance in our country for the Constitution. I’m one of them, and can’t believe what the people of America have allowed to be taken away from us.

In simplistic terms, WTP has been lawfully filing petitions for redress of grievances for YEARS on many areas of our lives, and repeatedly been ignored. Put another way, it’s like a child asking a parent for something. Child asks, parent says “no”. Child asks again, parent says, “no!” Child asks again, parent says, ‘NO!!” Child says, “why no?” Parent says “because I said so”. Child says, “what else can I do if you won’t hear my request?” Parent returns nothing but silence. The difference is that our government officials are put there by us to represent us, and refuse to do their job.

Rather than search all over the internet for other people’s opinions on WTP, I’d encourage you to start with their site and read up on the facts. We all know from personal experience how you can find any dirt on anyone you want out there, most of which is based on other’s opinions, or interpretations, and not facts. Take some time to read the Declaration of Independence (you know, the one we’ve had for 232 years? The one Obama just announced yesterday he wants to change?!?), read the Bill of Rights, read the Constitution. Get informed, then make your own decisions based on facts, not who-knows-who’s opinion. This is just like the journey we all began whenever we started learning about Obama’s background, history, associations, and the major fraud about to be perpetrated on Tuesday.

Again, from Thomas Jefferson: Reply to Lord North, 1775. Papers 1:225

“The privilege of giving or withholding our moneys is an important barrier against the undue exertion of prerogative which if left altogether without control may be exercised to our great oppression; and all history shows how efficacious its intercession for REDRESS of GRIEVANCES and REESTABLISHMENT of RIGHTS, and how improvident would be the surrender of so powerful a mediator.”

WTP is not calling for a tax revolt or a revolution, but rather a wake up call to corrupt government officials that it’s time to get back in the box and do your job.

  196. Foxtrot Says:

This is an interesting take on why the REpublicans have been quiet on this citizenship issue with Obama! It is true! If Obama is not removed from office then all Arnold has to use as his argument for being allowed to run himself is “precedent already being set”. It won’t matter what the Constitution says. Very scary!

The same place it has been going since SCOTUS ruled to make the loser in election 2000 the illegitimate pResident Select. The fast track to HELL that Bush has set this country on for the last 8 years.

The GOP wants Barry because that means Ahnald can run and he will win at the Governator in 4 years. And Dems willhave set the precedence without one single passage of votes by citizens. We don’t have standing or injury, even though it is our Constitution that is getting trampled.

I sweat, if I ever seen any Justice from SCOTUS, I will curse and spit at them. They are allowing the destruction of the very document that makes them SPECIAL with the authority to rule over our lives.

Arnold is just about as liberal as McCain and California is leading the states in financial and illegal immigration disaster. If the RNC thinks he’s got a chance, they’re even more clueless than we thought.

Arnold can never and will never be pres. unless the constitution is changed. He will not run in 4 yrs. I know linda has a lot of good thoughts, but one has to remember, she is a blatant partisan as well.

  202. thinkingmom11 Says:

I live in CA Fox and I don’t think anyone here is very happy with the miserable road Ahnald has taken us down. He is far too liberal, vacillates on to many issues, too strong of support for gay marriage and has such a lousy fiscal track record few true conservative Republicans would vote for him and probably few others if they ever figured out what he truely is. I doubt he would get very far once the new, shiny excitement wore off. He is not any different than Obama in that he is an empty suit full of “hopey, changey” energy with not much to back it up. He is however a lover of this country which is more than I can say for Obama, but if the Governator takes steps to try to run for president, I will change my mind on that. No one can blatantly disregard the Constitution and still love our country.

  203. sliderblaze Says:

shes, part of the “it’s all bushs fault crowd like some i know” Bash Bush for the good of the country crowd, only realizing that it’s cus we didnt have a united front on the key issues thats brought about some of the “good standing in the world” decline. It’s amazing that now, since O is kinda in line with some of Bush’s policy, that it seems to be OK since O says it’s ok…. It’s amazing that some of my friends who claim they are Dems, when it comes down to the issues, are very republican in nature. tragic that they didnt even know what they were voting for.

    Administration Officials?

And thats what i’m talking about right there, forever over reaching. I really hope they try, lets waste more tax payers dollars. Maybe we’ll finally get to see some of the intel that led to decisions being made, terror attacks that have been thwarted and remind us that the Dems fought it every step of the way. Lets remind americans that really, they government is only there to keep us save, number one priority and name names of those Dems who saw the same intel as per Clinton and Bush and voted the same way 99% of the other members of congress did, let us see what they saw (which is more than what we the people saw) Let us remind americans that freedom is indeed NOT free but comes with a price, a price that is paid with lives of soldiers, the political peril of those that dont go with the winds of polls. Let us be reminded of those who SCREAMED that we didnt connect the dots, then wanna try and persecute those who dare to connect those same very dots. Please Pelosi and her fellow dems, DO IT. So when it comes time for you to make your statements about trampling on the constitution, we can cite you for setting the New Day standard of what that means, but nominating a candidate, that wasnt even Fucking eligible. PLEASE, I’m BEGGING YOU. DO IT

  210. Katie Says:

Slider – well said! Trent Lott tells a joke, and has to resign. Dingy Harry says the PEOPLE smell, he’s still there doing important work like, oh, I don’t know, blocking constitutionally eligible senators from the building!

How about Geitner being put in charge of IRS and he’s a TAX EVADER? Shucks, let’s give him the benefit of the doubt. Maybe he’s a closet WTP supporter…LOL.

We could do these all day!

  211. sliderblaze Says:

    lets be also reminded that

70% of america think thats a bad idea!!!!

sorry bout spelln errors in that above rant, but, i think it’s a good idea She does. Remember why we dont prosecute the terrorist, classified intel. So if the Dems wanna go that route, classified intel will have to be admissible and they should be. I wanna see what we’ve stopped in the 7 yrs since 9/11. And then name those dems who wanted to strip us of the policies that have stopped those attacks. I’m sure you’ll see the dems poll numbers go down like a drunkn prom date.

  212. sliderblaze Says:

I’m reminded of what my step dad told me after the first Gulf war. He said, we shoulda gone the whole way to baghdad. I asked why, he said, cus we’ll be in there again, then he corrected himself “we’ll have to go in again, and will, but only if there is a republican President” I really didnt know what he meant at the time, but, in 2001, it became pretty clear.

  213. sliderblaze Says:

remember, there are some attacks that were thwarted that became public knowledge, and then there were those that werent. Oh yeah, let us not forget that some of these measures passed with broad bipartisan support.

It seems everytime my opinion of Dems couldnt get any lower, they suprise the hell outta me

    “Phony opposition to racism

Rarely in recent American history has so much has been said and written about racism, with so little sincerity, as in the past two weeks. Lott himself made one apology after another, each more transparently hollow and repugnant than the last. By the time of his appearance on Black Entertainment Television, the senator who had spoken fondly of the days of white supremacy was pledging support for affirmative action.

    A political operation

The campaign to oust Lott was driven largely by elements within the right wing of the Republican Party, including the National Review, the Weekly Standard, the editorial page of the Wall Street Journal, columnists like George Will and Charles Krauthammer, and radio talk show hosts like Rush Limbaugh. Their animus was hardly inspired by a sudden discovery of Lott’s fondness for the days of segregation, something that has characterized his political career for 30 years.”

  215. Foxtrot Says:

Interesting story about Newt (for what it is worth)! Again, remember Linda Starr was a “dirt digger” for the Democratic Party before she did research about Obama. She feels “dirt is dirt” no matter what the party. I have to admire her for that. Just like Phil Berg is a Democrat and leading the charge on Obama.

Do you know how Newt Gingrich ended up leaving his seat in Congress? I strongly suggest you go investigate it. It was ethics violations from dealings in the sale of his book/s. Not to mention other serious ethical and moral problems. He is a real bas%$#d, too. His first wife (mother of his two children) was in the hospital recovering from cancer surgery when he lowered the boom on her – he wanted a divorce so he could marry a much younger woman. When she refused to discuss it (between bouts of vomiting up her guts from chemo) his way of retaliation was dropping her healthcare coverage. If that isn’t bad enough, he moved back into their home with the children and nanny while his wife was in the hospital, and when the nanny was bringing the children home from school one day, had to divert the children from approaching his car parked in the driveway and speaking to their father, as the nanny noticed the head of a female bobbing up and down in Newt’s lap. Turned out that wasn’t the only time. This same woman, who turned out to be his best friend’s wife, was caught in his office in the same exact scenario, head bobbing up and down in his lap! Pretty good considering how he trashed Bill Clinton!

No, you don’t want Newtie-boy. He’s trash, too, since you are all so disgusted with Bill Clinton’s actions. And before any of you go any farther, I’ve got similar dirt on most of the majority of Republican frontrunners as well.
And don’t even get me started on Joe Liebermann…

    Yet another interesting twist.
Obama’s limo driver has refused to drive him for the inauguration.
Usurper Barry has no one to drive him now.
At the crux of the story, the driver previously asked Barry if he was a citizen.
Replying like he was some God, Barry said “What does it matter to you?”
Extremely emotional, the driver now feels he can’t drive an alien to the whitehouse.
Don’t think for a second that word isn’t getting out.
    Usurper Barry’s clock is ticking.
Most people don’t know this yet.
But time will show who was right and who was wrong.

Sorry Fox but you are falliing prey to the same media drivel you so revile now. And it proves sliders point that Rep’s hold people accountable. I absolutly do NOT remember RUSH ragging on Lott. I remember him defending him. Don’t take the media’s word for it. You yourself admitted you never listened to Rush – shame on you for believing what other said he may have said. That is the blind trust in the media that you are so upset with people now for having in regards to Obama. Surely, Fox, you are far to wise to fall for this. Believing the media just because they agree with your beliefs? Trent Lott should never have had to resign just because he gave a 100 year old man a little “sunshine” before he died. For crying out loud. Give me a break. The media read WAY more into it than was ever needed and if you are honest with yourself you would see it the same way. And if you even think that what he said is worse than the things that have been said by men like Harry Reid, Rangel, Jackson, Byrd, etc – then you are being intellectually dishonest.

  220. Tenacity Says:

It not necessarily the actions of the POTUS or Congress that are the problem. It is that they have chosen to ignore the constitution. Violations of the War Powers Act are an example. Actually many of the violations are similar. When W approached the Congress about Iraq, rather than declaring war per the Constitution, the Congress basically authorized W to go do what he wanted to do. The Congress gave W the authority/power to do something they did not have the constitutional right to do without declaring war. Then, they blame W for anything and everything that goes wrong. In order to commit our troops in a foreign conflict, was should have been declared. This eroded the constitution and allowed Congress to pass the buck. It doesn’t matter what your opinion of going into Iraq was, the method Congress used was unconstitutional. Congress has done the same thing with the Federal Reserve, IRS, Income tax on labor, and now failing to vet the highest position in the world to the Constitutional standard. The Executive and Judicial branches have failed to Check & Balance and have been complicit.

    Fox,
I can’t see Tennessee passing such garbage ammo legislation. This is precisely the kind of crap that could result in open armed rebellion. Like Charlton Heston said, “out of my cold dead hands.” No wonder you can’t find ammo on the shelf at Walmart right now and gun sales are up 500%. They can go to hell and they will have to put me in a grave to take my 2nd Amendment rights away. This is precisely why we must re-establish well-regulated state militias.

Pelosi Open to Prosecution of Bush Administration Officials

    jjones,

OMG! Talk about the Pot(s) calling the Kettle(s) black! That POS terrorist lover witch must be out of her gourd! For a couple of weeks before the election, I posted a story about her chummy relationship with Colombian Senator Piedad Cordoba who is linked to FARC (Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia) terrorists and that scum bag Hugo Chavez. The story came out on October 2008, seven months after Oliver North tried to warn America of the contents of computer files that “he read” found on the FARC computers seized by Columbian armed forces during a raid. I plastered North’s article on several political blogs for months. But, I don’t think people knew what to make of it. My posts did receive some positive feedback, however, that’s as far as it went. I’ve always believed North, and after reading about Polosi’s association with Cordoba; well that made it even more concrete. I posted a comment on Citizen Wells blog a couple of weeks before the election; to the effect that Obama will be elected no matter what, etc. When I posted that comment; I was totally depressed and disillusioned with the realization that terrorists could be responsible for the outcome of our election, and no one was listening. IMAO, it happened!

    A Despot’s Distraction

    Oliver North | March 07, 2008

Excerpt: (Please read – Capitalization edited for emphasis)

Having now seen some of these files, there is much to substantiate serious concern in Venezuela — and elsewhere — about what Mr. Chavez and his friends in the FARC have been up to. The captured computers provide details of long-term financial connections between Mr. Chavez and the FARC leadership; records of drug transactions connections; and conversations with “AMERICAN EMISSARIES WHO ASSURE THAT “OBAMA WILL BE THE NEXT U.S. PRESIDENT.” There is even a reference to FARC obtaining 50 kilograms of radioactive material. http://tinyurl.com/84alp4

New Evidence of Nancy Pelosi Associate Supporting Chavez, Marxists, & Terrorists

    By Warner Todd Huston
    October 15, 2008 – 03:39 ET

A Colombian associate of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) (please click on red link within article)-> is once again linked to FARC terrorists and Marxist Dictator Hugo Chavez with the revelation of damning new messages concerning Colombian Senator Piedad Córdoba that are currently being investigated by Colombian military officials. Once again we have a powerful American politician, this one the Speaker of the House of Representatives, linked to those attempting to institute Marxist regimes to our South. Why does the U.S. media steadily ignore the ties Speaker Pelosi has to Chavez and the terrorist group FARC through her association with Senator Córdoba? http://tinyurl.com/67flcg
