    thinkingmom….I think the extra 2 years comes into play only if the President was not elected….say that BO is declared not qualified (please) and they appoint Hillary. If it takes 2 years for BO to qualify or to hold another election, then Hillary could still run for President in the next elec6ion. She could run for 2 terms even though she had already served 2 years by appointment. Total–10 years.

    Anyone else have an explanation?

    Senators = 2 terms of 3 years each (MAX)
    Congressmen = “SAME”
    All Politicians = “SAME”

    Any Politician found to be communicating with any lobbiest will face up to 15 years in Prison (general population) and a $250K fine.

    Any corporate spokesperson that wishes to address Congress or ANY politician in any form or fashion must do so in a public forum with cameras recording live for C-Span.

    my dog is having some problems. She was hit by a car 2.5 years ago and she had her entire back end pinned together and rebuilt. Last few days she is falling quite a bit and she’s not eating.     isn’t it so frustrating that, at the very least, the dual citizenship should disqualify barry as a natural born citizen!? Wouldn’t you think at the very least SCOTUS should at least make a comment on that? Maybe all of these cases could be moot. If he is alleged to be ineligible then all of the other dirt is inconsiquential. Barry doesn’t have to provide anything. The plaintiffs don’t have to provide anything. Just a simple decision. Can someone born with dual citizenship be natural born?

My husband actually debated the issue with his students. They are advanced students and older than mine. Other than our 2 classes, I am sure it was not even mentioned.

    I teach a Current World Issues class that I really enjoy. I started the class by teaching about different political ideologies and the liberal bias of the media. Then we continued to look at different sides of all the issues we studied including the War on Terror, Global Warming, Universal Health Care, Human Rights, etc. Some of my students were shocked at the “other side” and never considered that there was another side to these arguements.

    I think the books are much the same, just more detailed. The problem is that I really understand the subtle way these books talk about certain issues. They focus so much on the problems of our history and not enough on what is “good” about this country.

    The teachers, however, have gone overboard. I was helping to write the curriculum for our US history class last year and a group of teachers at the other high school in our district had as the topics to study during the World War II era – Japanese internment, Holocaust, Nuclear Weapons, etc. I was shocked! What about Pearl Harbor, Normandy, Hitler…..duh! I don’t think they had any intention of teaching the rest.

    I was chosen to go spend a week at Madison’s estate last summer for a teacher institute called “We the People.” At first I thought they were connected, but I don’t think so. It was by application and I was suppose to learn about doing a mock continental congress or something with my students. I was unable to go because my dad was sick and just diagnosed with a terminal disease. Next time I hope I can go. I think it is called the We the People foundation.

    Re: the Continental Congress…this is no mock exercise (altho what a cool experience that would have been for you!) This is not a test. This is not a drill.

    The WTP Foundation is coordinating a REAL Continental Congress – in Philly, in March. Following the same steps as the Founding Fathers in 1774. Tenacity is considering being a state delegate. Even if he doesn’t fill the position, he’s got a lot of talents and gifts just like we all do to help make this happen.

    No one has to give up more than they can. Some people may just want to be a member at $7 a month. Anything each of us can do will create a movement to effect real change (sorry, I have begun to dislike that word) for a return from a socialist democracy to a constitutional republic.

    My eighty-nine year old father practiced law for over 50 years. He was top in his class and clerked for the federal court. When the Gore case went to the SCOTUS he wrote the chapter, paragraph etc. that the court would decide the case on a piece of paper. He also wrote the vote tally and which justices would vote which way…..He gave the paper to a young judge in town and told him to open it when the decision was published……..He was 100% correct. He thinks any one who thinks that the SCOTUS is going to ignore or dismiss this case is delusional. He is much more qualified to judge the case then you are.

    The Supreme Court had to wait until now for Berg to have standing. There is no precedence for this case. It is a historical decision and they will do everything they can to get it right. The constitution does not establish who vets the candidate. Part of their decision will determine who, or what will be held responsible in the future, if not now. It could destroy the Democratic Party if they are proved to be part of an intentional fraud. If Obama does not provide the documentation they request, he will be held in contempt, and they WILL obtain it.

    Here’s another view of this chess game. It explains how the SCOTUS has Obama in Check Mate.

    Both Donofrio’s and Wrotnowski’s cases said the burden lays with the Secretary of State (SoS) not doing their job. There is no law that states that it is their job. So, the SoS would win the case. In Conference, they probably talked about who was responsible to vet the candidate. If it wasn’t the SoS of each state, they did not want to waste valuable court time and not hold Obama accountable. The burden to each SoS to vet each candidate for each office would be prohibitive in both time and expense. You will notice that neither cases were completely released but pending. They can be revisited and opinions may be written on them when a final release is given. Berg’s case, on the other hand, places the burden on the candidate, the party, and the FEC. Berg, however, did not have standing until Congress certified the electoral votes to present his case. He now has standing, as do Keyes and the other California cases.

    Katie– a caution for the Continental Congress. For it to truly be effective, partisanship has to be left at the door. You need to avoid the hot button topics and have ONE mission, and establish that ONE mission from day one. To bring the ecclectic folks from all parties, socioeconomic status, race, creed, etc, you need to use the k.i.s.s. method (keep it simple stupid). Also, if it is too imbalanced, meaning, too many Republicans or too many Dems, it will not work. It is a real tightrope to walk. Personally, I am hopeful that something big will change before March. However, I admire all the courage, time and diligence it will take to pull it off. I know firsthand. I have always tackled things that people have told me were “impossible”. I always say that anything is possible if you are intelligent enough, creative enough, and driven enough! I know anyone who is a part of our “gang” here, our family of sorts, will make it a reality!

    They’ve been petitioning for redress for 10 yrs. (just like Jefferson) without any results. Hence, the Continental Congress.

    That might be a place to start. I don’t know why the South Bend event was cancelled (my grandparents lived in S. Bend and as a kid we used to spend summers and weekends on their farm. Some of my best memories…but I digress).

    Keep in mind that Bob Schulz and his wife are driving to a different city and state every night to cover the country. Without being paid. Amazing people.

    Sometimes I feel like the dumbest human being on the face of the earth. I consider myself to be a fairly bright guy, but looking back it amazes me what has gone past me without me recognizing the gravity of the situation.

    I saw that film by We The People several years ago. It made sense to me but I was too fearful of the IRS to act on it. They put me through hell back in the 80’s. I had completely forgotten that the film was from WTP. Now, I almost wish that I had no one else to be responsible for, so that I could snub my nose at the feds without anyone else suffering the consequences. There were quite a few people at that meeting Wednesday night that had not paid income taxes in years. We need to act in mass to make this a successful peaceful revolution. We must take advantage of the current constitutional crisis while a large number of people are mad as hell. Otherwise, complacency and cowardice will continue to rule the day. If we don’t stand up and act as lawfully provided by our constitution, we are doomed, our country is doomed and the future for our children is doomed. The greedy devils in Washington D.C. don’t give a rats butt for the law, the constitution or our rights. The judges are either brainwashed, gutless, stupid or paid off. Even if the SCOTUS takes action against Obama (tomorrow or whenever), it doesn’t change the fact that our nation and constitution is in serious trouble. Not because of the economy, but because of the usurpers in Washington D.C. and their refusal to secure our rights granted by God and our constitution. In essence, we have no choice but to stand up and do it NOW!

He might have been given a deadline to produce the goods or they will grant Phil’s emergency injunction tomorrow to stop the Inauguration if he doesn’t. I agree the pix of Roberts with Barry looked like the cat that ate the canary. Think about it. Barry has put them in a terrible position. They can’t be very happy about this mess with all these suits.

    One day when all this is over with, we are going to have some very intersting stories to tell about behind the scenes stuff that I think many of you will find fascinating.

    sdee – the whole conglomerate that is behind Obama (and probably most of our politicians) is pretty ugly, but Soros – no doubt – is the scariest of all. I am glad he is so old – maybe he will take a dirt nap soon. His son looks like hiim but I doubt he is so bright as dear ol’ dad – though often son’s of brilliant tyrants are rarely as smart as their fathers’, they exceed their fathers’ brutallity…don’t think that is much better now that I think about it…

    Katie and Troy– I admire both of you so I don’t want you to think I am disrespecting you or your cause. However, in the interest of being informed citizens, I went on the web and found some not-so-flattering things about Schultz and his former partner, Lynn Meredith (who is now in prison). I just want to make sure everyone really does their homework before associating with these folks or giving them money. I encourage everyone reading this blog to make certain you read all of the links. It will only take a second as most are very short.     We must not rely on anyone in Washington to help. They have been petitioned in a multitude of ways now and have consistently denied all legitimate response to give standing to the people. The constitution requires that they respond and they have positioned themselves in a totalitarian posture to deny all petition for redress.

    This is why all patriots must hitch our wagon to a single effort. We must channel all of our resources (unify) toward restoring and preserving our constitution. We The People Congress has the inertia and the plan needed at this time. I’m not saying that Bob Schulz should be president or that he has not made any mistakes, but there is no question that the plan for a Continental Congress is the best one going right now. If we can gather enough mass (people) to support the CC, then we can have a real impact. You see the groundwork has been laid. WTP has repeatedly formally petitioned the members of Congress on various constitutional abuses and have been denied the proper constitutionally required response. The constitution provides for the appropriate remedy…a Continental Congress to establish the people’s course of action. The time for petition is past and the time for action is now. This call for a Continental Congress is the prescribed solution granted by our forefathers.

    This is an apolitical (non-partisan) effort that is focus on forcing the government to secure the rights of the people by restoring and preserving the constitution. It is a peaceful revolution. This is bigger than the We The People Foundation. It is simply being organized by them and all others than join in the effort. There were representatives of various parties at the meeting and Schulz made a point of keeping discussions non-partisan.

    First of all, WTPF is not against paying those taxes that are lawfully required. The constitution prohibits a direct tax (on labor) that is not proportioned. The IRS has no constitutional authority to directly tax the income derived from individual labor. This is a huge fraud that has been perpetrated on the people. Before 1913, for over 137 years, the government operated just fine without taxing labor. There are a multitude of ways that we are all taxed that are lawful and constitutionally authorized. The interesting part is that very little, if any of our income tax goes to pay for the items listed in the post above. Most of that is funded by property taxes and corporate income tax.

    People truly need to be educated and most are not. If you view the link that Slider posted yesterday, you will see that many have bucked the fraud perpetrated about the 16th Amendment, the Federal Reserve (privately owned and unconstitutional) and the IRS. Some have been successful and some have gone to jail, even though they were just exercising their constitutional rights. This is precisely the totalitarian posture that I was speaking of. We have all been accused of having our tin foil hats. Don’t allow the uneducated and the programmed disinformation deceive you. You need to understand the constitution and that the government is in direct violation of it. As I do my homework, I am coming to realize how much of a police state I have been living in. All I ask is that you keep an open mind at this point, because our Republic is at risk.
