OK, you all are overlooking one other thing that might imply that jesse,jr was in on it.. The video I watched of Jesse, jr.. After discussing that he wasnt a party to the bribery, he suddenly became a little emotional and stated his little sister text-messaged him (the night before) and told him she was “proud of him”.. Proud of him, for what? Assisting the FBI? Telling on Gov. Blago? Hmmmmmm?

But did he cry for Katrina?

  3. amy Says:

Lyn, I have NO idea whether he cried for katrina…

  4. sdee Says:

    checkout leo’s new post!

  5. Foxtrot Says:

Troy — all politicians are NOT scumbags. I have personally known many, many of them. I can tell you first hand they are hard working, honest, and want to represent their states/districts as best they can. You only hear about the crooked ones or the lying ones because that is what makes the news. I can guarantee you that there are some wonderful men and women out there representing their states! I have seem them make tireless sacrifices, without fanfare or the press there to capture it. The majority of them are decent people.

We have got to stop lumping everyone together when we have an opinion!!!! Still love ya’ Troy!!!!

  6. Foxtrot Says:

I remember Katrina very well. the lack of response by the then mayor and the governor

  10. Lyn Says:

When Hillary was in NH and got a little choked up JJ was pretty bad on I believe MSNBC, saying all Hillary cared about was her appearence.. did she cry for Katrina ect and then brings up the AA voters. many (including me believe THIS was the start of the Clintons are racists card the BO camp played)

do you ladies/guys really believe Obama is involved in this whole chicago gov. corruption!? I think you are just looking for something that’s not there:

    1) Obama himself said he knew nothing about what was going on.
    2) I’ve read several articles that stated that Obama was above the Chicago corruption
    3) Obama also said he was a new type of politician. Transparent.

you ladies are just connecting dots on this one…shame on you!

  12. amy Says:

I wish we could bring back those people who lost their lives so needlessly, but we cant.

  13. hockeyfan530 Says:

FYI, I was being completely sarcastic in my last post! WOW! It was difficult to write…even knowing i was being sarcastic!

  14. amy Says:

hockeyfan, Obama ALSO said he did NOT know Rev Wright said those things for 20 years.. He also said he didnt know Rezko was being investigated at the time he bought his house (even though it was all over the news)..So JUST because he SAID that does NOT prove he is telling the truth.

  15. hockeyfan530 Says:

    amy,
I was completely kidding. I’m with ya’ sister. I know he’s a liar LOL

  16. amy Says:

Oh, ok Hockeyfan.. Sorry, dont realy know you enough to realise you were kidding lol

  18. hockeyfan530 Says:

yeah, i could never say anything good about obama, well…he’s tall, but other than that I got nothin’. If i ever uttered those words for real i’d kick my own a$$!

  19. Troy Says:

You can’t use the words “truth” and “obama” in the same sentence…it’s an oxymoron…In fact I think Congress should pass legislation to make it illegal to do so.

  20. amy Says:

Do I believe that Obama is a part of the Chicago corruption? Yes, I DO.. Do I believe he is a part of the Gov Blago bribery thingy? That I am NOT sure about, so I would have to say NO at this time.. I need to know more.

  34. ddlew Says:

Isn’t it funny that Berg’s case is taking so much longer than Leo’s or Cort’s? I can’t believe it hasn’t progressed any further yet.

  35. amy Says:

ddlew, its because bergs case is ONLY one vs Obama and DNC..

  36. amy Says:

Obama and DNC have chosen to avoid his lawsuit, hoping it will go away.

  37. amy Says:

They were given until Dec 1 to respond, then given more time allowing extra time for late mail delivery. LOL! They will NEVER respond, unless ORDERED by the US Supreme Court.

  38. amy Says:

That Bill Anderson, talk radio host who joined the case recently, as friend of the court, interviewed obama… He appeared to praise him at the time.

  39. amy Says:

Waaaaaaaaaaa! I am talking to myself!

Wonder if his Brother in the shack is looking for a copy, sure seems alot better than living on 12 dollars a year

  44. Foxtrot Says:

Amy–don’t fret! The only person I can think of that SCOTUS will believe has “standing” is Keyes and his lawsuit! He was a candidate, after all, and DID have something to lose by Obama being fraudulent.

Also, we always have the secret lawsuit that was just mentioned today by Berg’s assistant. Here is the post again, as it warrants more attention. I, for one, am excited as crap about this one!

You ask wonderful questions. We have to be prepared, if we release all we have to the public now, the Defendants will build a defense using it and knowing what we have and what we will say. So, while in litigation, we have to hold back. We also have an action filed under seal in Washington D.C., so I can’t give details but can tell you have another action pending.

If we were to get bounced from Court then absolutely, we are not giving up.

  45. Foxtrot Says:

    ddlew–you crack me up! Honestly!

  46. ddlew Says:

As his brother, he would fall within the list of those legally able to request the document.

Of course the brother would most likely have to provide Hawaii with a certified copy of his own bc before they would consider the request.

  47. j.b. Says:

If I were Obama, I would give my bith cert to the SCOTUS and collect the 1 Million dollar reward being offered.

Yeah! Then give the cool milllion to Oblago so he can fill the sen……………………oops, nevermind.

*i have not had time to watch ANY videos posted-as i am literally hitting refresh on the way into this room then I read on the way out!. I will later, though. I only have 9000 more cookies to go!*

  48. Foxtrot Says:

Also, VERY IMPORTANT FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO MIGHT DOUBT OBAMA HAD ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE “PLAY FOR PAY” DEALINGS IN CHICAGO—-How do you think Michelle Obama got that cushy job on the hospital board? My husband is an healthcare executive and I can tell you they come “with connections” only!!!! Mark my words, it will come to light that Michelle Obama’s position was a Pay for Play, as it was with her appointment to that Foods company! The Governor’s wife even cites Michelle’s appts in her rant on the tape.

  49. j.b. Says:

    SORRY TO YELL>>>>>>>>>>:)

even better the HUGE raise she got when Obama became US Senator then that hosp got an earmark for a Million.
Blago also compared his wife’s experience to MO’s (specifeid person) and basically said if MO could get a hig paying board seat, then his wife should since she is more qualified and has a liscence (7?)
Michelle is up to her neck in everything, heck she even worked with Dorhn before she met Barky, I’ve often wonderred if Mo’s conncetion’s thru her dad and growing up hanging out at the Jackson house is part of what Barky liked about her. (when she was his mentor)

    ————————

    I’ll try, Foxy.

This is the first I’ve heard of it.

Polarik did post something about “a Factcheck lawsuit” at Free Republic but didn’t elaborate.

    I don’t know if they’re related.

  54. amy Says:

Fox, did Linda say that the secret filing was filed at the US Supreme Court? Or could it be at a lower court in Wash, DC? Because the US Supreme Court only hear cases that have gone through the lower courts first or do they? Perhaps it was added on to his present docket.

  55. amy Says:

I KNOW! Someone needs to offer a million dollars to obamas favorite charity if he provides his vaulted BC. Now how could he refuse a charity? It would NOT look good.

  56. amy Says:

I wish I had a million dollars. I would contact obama, tell him I have a million dollars for his favorite charity if he shows the bc.

Lightfoot v. Bowen is filed in the Supreme Court

Today at 4:45 pm EST, with 15 minutes before the court closed, Dr. Orly Taitz DDS Esq. filed the Lightfoot v. Bowen case in the US Supreme Court.

    Robert Stevens

Posted by Orly Taitz, DDS Esq.

  58. Foxtrot Says:

Amy — Berg’s assistant is called “Lisa”. Linda is the one who provide the research, “dirt” if you will, on candidates for the Democratic party.

That is a good question about which court it is in D.C.! I am guessing it must be some sort of lower court, not SCOTUS, otherwise she would have mentioned SCOTUS by name, I would think!?!

  61. Foxtrot Says:

Rosetta– my guess is that you should check the lower courts in D.C. for this “mystery” case. My supposition is that they are suiing based on a falsified birth document. Hence, they may be taking Obama to court for “forgery”! Who knows? Inquiring minds want to know though!!!! Hehe!

  62. amy Says:

Fox, it probably already went through the lower court?

  63. Troy Says:

It would make perfect sense if Berg filed a “fraud” lawsuit against FactCheck.org….He would try to make them produce the doctored COLB and also would require a newly printed COLB from Hawaii officials….Compared side by side the two wouldn’t match….This would begin the snowball effect that eventually lead to Obama’s BC being produced…It’s actually a fairly brilliant plan.

  64. amy Says:

Fox, evelyn followed the rezko trial from the beginning last year and wrote about it constantly as things unfolded, ‘The Subplots Of Boardgames”

j.b.— just went there and saw that Linda Starr had left a comment before me. I left her a message on that comment section ( I get an ‘A’ for guts right?). I asked if she would come to our comment section here for a few minutes. Don’t know if she will get the message, but it is worth a try!

  67. peppermintpatty777 Says:

Personally, now in my non-drug induced mind, someone should go personally into the village (he’s probably in Kibera) and make a lucrative deal with the brother. I think O had several brothers and sisters from his father’s side–those need to be found and made a deal. They can get a copy of the BC! But, I wouldn’t call them or talk to them on the phone. Of course, I bet you their government would not allow them to leave the country!

Bettr yet to get the aunt to do it…I bet she would for a goodly sum of money, she’s here illegally anyway–she’ll be needing a nest egg if she has to go back to Kenya!

He had to also have cousins. I have tons of them and I know there are bound to be several that would toss me under a BIG bus for the right sum of money! Luv you to Cuz!

  68. Foxtrot Says:

Troy – I agree! If we can’t go through the “front door” with this issue, then I will gladly step through the back door to get the job done!

  76. Foxtrot Says:

Lyn — I posted a story from them yesterday (I think) about how this is really about the Olympics and what Chicago, and certain individuals/businesses stand to gain from it. Is that what you are talking about?

  77. amy Says:

I hope that Linda Starr does come here to comment.

  78. Foxtrot Says:

I heard through the grapevine that Berg has many renowned experts for fraudulent documents who looked at the certificate of birth from Obama. Maybe that is why he did it . . . to pad his case in the lower courts for D.C.?

Rosetta, I cannot access anything on that link without a docket number or paying to get information. FYI.

  79. Foxtrot Says:

I do too, Amy. She is the treasure trove of information on Berg’s case!

  80. amy Says:

Didnt Linda infer that the secret filing has something to do with information that had NEVER been SEALED.?

    ===================

Amy — you are confusing “Lisa” who is Berg’s Assistant, and “Linda” who is the research person for Berg’s case, but not employed by Berg. No, the assistant is the one who talked about the OTHER case in D.C. court. Linda Starr has always maintained that Obama did not get to seal all of his past and that they have something HUGE on him. Hope that helps to clear it up.

  85. rosettasister Says:

This blog is new to me:

  86. Tenacity Says:

Everyone needs to understand who Valerie Jarrett is. First she was born in Iran. She was Michelle O’s former boss. She was and is a BO mentor. She introduced him around to the Daley power brokers in Chicago. If the BO puppet has strings…Jarrett is in control of the ones to the head of BO. Talking/questioning her would get you nowhere. She is tougher than and as well connected as BO himself. She is probably very concerned that BO has botched so much of what she has worked so hard to accomplish through him. I don’t see her falling on any swords. I also don’t see her throwing her protege’ under any buses.

  87. amy Says:

Fox, I know about Lisa. I just thought that Linda knew something about the secret case, and thought it might be related to Bergs case..I work full time and it is difficult to keep up with all the going ons

  88. Lyn Says:

Tenacity, that’s what I said about Valerie. She would NEVER say anything that would make BO look bad, she’s worked too long and hard for this.

  89. amy Says:

So NOW we have 4 people in the WH with ties to the Chicago corruption: Obama, Emanuel, Valerie, and Axerod.. We dont stand a chance!

  90. amy Says:

  93. Foxtrot Says:

you are correct about 4 in the WH, but they are just the ones that have surfaced. I want to know what role the 2 Pakistani money bundlers will play. Perhaps they will just continue to handle all the illegal international money flow. I’d take that job, but would be very concerned about my backside for the rest of my life.

You’re asking for a legal document that proves Obama is in fact Barry Soetoro, a citizen of Indonesia? I have been telling you all the records were not sealed that prove Obama was legally Soetoro’s child. Some of you have been ridiculing me while I had to keep silent about the evidence. There’s more I can’t discuss here. I’ll tell you as soon as possible.
Anyway, I can now tell you that Phil Berg & his Assistant Lisa acquired Barry’s mother’s divorce papers from Lolo Soetoro in which we see listed 2 children of the parties of the marriage, one over 18 and one under 18. We know Ann Dunham Obama Soetoro only had two children – Barry and Maya. Even in those days, a step child who was not the legal child of one party in a divorce would not be listed as a child of the parties of the marriage. They would either not be lsited at all, or be listed as a child from a previous marriage. Surely you do understand the legal difference? This is a legal certified court record. Like I’ve been telling you, not ALL the records of this man are sealed. When crimes are committed, there are always loose ends one can not go back and tie to prevent getting caught. There’s more he can’t seal before jan 20th, and we are after them.
Let me explain to you now about why we know the PI hired by Corsi found out BO wasn’t born in either of the two hospitals he and his sister claim. His mother is deceased and her hospitalization records would not be sealed. We can’t ask if he was born there, but Cori’s PI could find out his mother was NEVER A PATIENT IN EITHER PLACE! If she wasn’t a patient, then he couldn’t have been born there.
That means he and his sister LIED about where he was born because he was born in Kenya. it also says to me his sister supplied her COLB (she was a foreign birth in Indonesia and registered in Hawaii) for someone to forge. Someone got a copy of her COLB on June 7, 2007. Maybe even she got and altered it for her brother because it isn’t a very good forgery? TADA! The noose is tightening around the lies about BO’s birth and citizenship.
His legal name is STILL Barry Soetoro, and he is a legal citizen of Indonesia since he was born in Kenya. And the big bombshell will be coming out in the next week. I strongly suggest you keep watching Patrick Fitzgerald for the next week. I can’t tell you what will happen, but I can tell you to watch him closely, especially in light of the arrests today of BO’s political buds.
Phil Berg did not pull this suit out of thin air. The circle around BO’s lies is tightening. I believe he is going to be arrested very soon. He can’t very well be sworn in if he’s in jail in Illinois. Do you really think Chief Justice Roberts won’t put a stop to this nightmare? Or Scalia, Thomas, Alito, or Kennedy? I know what evidence Phil has acquired. I can’t talk about it, but it’s real.
I wouldn’t be crowing with glee too loudly right now if I were some of you who has hurled insults and cast aspersions on me and Phil’s integrity.
You’ve all had a grand time at our expense, but this is nothing to celebrate proving ourselves right. This is about our Constitution. Why do you really think Clinton and Biden haven’t resigned their senate seats yet? Do you think they know something about the truth the DNC is desperate to hide? Inquiring minds want to know.

Here is just the tail end of the Citizen Wells document. You all really should take the time to go and read the lengthy letter he is sending to Fitz tomorrow.
    ===============

The names of Blagojevich and Obama were mentioned regularly
during the Rezko trial. Since Blagojevich and Obama were not
on trial at the time, much information known about them was
withheld. To understand this fact simply read the Criminal
Complaint against Rod Blagojevich. It is apparent that much
more is known about Barack Obama and that he is next in line
    to be indicted.

Since Barack Obama is attempting to sneak through the election
process with a great many legal questions clouding his past and
since the American public needs and depends on the Judicial Branch
of government to protect it from criminals and imposters, I
Citizen Wells, on behalf of the American public, ask that Mr.
Patrick Fitzgerald or any authorized employee of the US Justice
Department, present Mr. Barack H. Obama with an indictment and/or
Criminal Complaint at the earliest possible moment, with time being
of the essence. The Electoral College meets next week and it is
imperative that we do all that is in our power to prevent a
    constitutional crisis in this country.

I do hereby swear that the information provided above is, to the
    best of my knowledge, accurate.

This has been theorized many times.
Of course, Rezko thought he had Fitzgerald taken care of.
Obama is probably betting on the same thing.

  112. amy Says:

Obama may very well be in office before everything gets settled, the very first AA and very first pres to ever get arrested

  113. amy Says:

Fox, yes, Rezko told Ata not to worry, that Fitsgerald would be removed and investigation would stop. Wrong on both counts!

  114. amy Says:

And I bet Gov Blag is hoping that Obama fires Fits before the case gets too far in court. Look how long it took them to get through Rezko case.

  115. Foxtrot Says:

Amy– if Obama fired Fitz right now it would smack of “protectionism” for himself! People would see right through that! There is no way Obama can fire Fitz right now. Maybe later, but not right now.

  116. thinkingmom11 Says:

Hi all – I am attempting to catch up on everything – my head feels like an elephant is sitting on it (or Michelle Obama anyway) but all of this is sooo interesting. I read the Citizen Wells letter (and my head didn’t explode – good, clearly written expose’ – thanks CW) and I came away with the feeling that Obama is ears deep in the corruption in Ill. What an embarassment it is going to be if our new president gets arrested before his cooshy, leather, swivel chair in the OVal office is even warm. Sooner rather than later – but later will work too – just throw the bum out.

  117. amy Says:

Fox, I know. It wouldnt look good for him to do it now, but obama never worried about his associates looking bad for him

  118. amy Says:

Yea! BUMP! Out you go, Mr. Obama!

  119. Foxtrot Says:

On the side it reads “The Rosetta Gang”. And on the mud flaps it states, “Rosetta Gang ROCKS!” I wonder who we might want to throw under our bus?!?!? Any ideas?

  120. Foxtrot Says:

By the way, the only thing Citizen Wells left off his lengthy document, that would add an enormous amount of credence to it is the following statement, “ROSETTA GANG ROCKS!” HEHE!

  121. Lyn Says:

    interesting…coinkydink? cbs2chicago.com/local/rezko.sentencing.delayed.2.885281.html
On Thursday morning, U.S. District Judge Amy St. Eve canceled deadlines by which lawyers were to submit filings on the sentencing of the Wilmette businessman.

Rezko was to be sentenced Jan. 6 — a rushed date he recently requested as he seeks to be freed from solitary confinement.

The possibility of another change comes two days after Gov. Blagojevich was charged in shakedown schemes and the feds revealed they had secret recordings of the governor.

Since this summer, Rezko has provided information to the government about alleged corruption related to the governor, according to government papers unsealed Tuesday. The government is still judging his reliability, they said, and Rezko has not formally signed a plea deal.

There may be more incentive to do so now that he knows the government has other cooperators against the governor.

  122. sliderblaze Says:

what if Rezko turned on Blago and not so much on obama, basically handing the football off to Blago to do the dirty work on O? just saying

  123. amy Says:

It was Ali Ata that testified in Rezkos case that the gov was in the pay-to-play scheme and that he himself was told to provide $25,000 in a contribution for the gov in exchange for a state job. At the time, rezko and Blag both denied it.

President-elect Barack Obama just got nixed!

Sneed hears the White House has rejected a recent request by Obama to occupy Blair House, the president-elect’s Washington residence, at an earlier date.

    • • To wit: Sneed hears Obama wanted to move his family and his transition team to Blair House, which is across from the White House, nearly two weeks before the president-elect historically moves there on Jan. 15 — five days before the inaugural.

    • • The backshot: A source tells Sneed: “There were reportedly two reasons for the request: Obama’s children start school in early January — and the move could be interpreted as a New Year’s symbolic gesture showing the president-elect in a presidential capacity across from the White House on Jan. 2, the day after New Year’s Day.”

    • • The buckshot: Blair House, the president’s guest house for visiting dignitaries, nixed the request. “It was a polite rejection,” the source added. “But I’m told Blair House was appalled.”

Rev. Jackson: I Played No Role in Blagojevich Scandal, Not an ‘Emissary’
Congressman’s Father Says He’s ‘Not Targeted’ in Probe of Senate-For-Sale Scheme
Rev. Jesse Jackson says he played no role and was not “an emissary” in alleged efforts to make a deal with Governor Rod Blagojevich for the appointment of his son, Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr. (D-IL) to the U.S. Senate.

Speaking publicly for the first time, Rev. Jackson said he last met with the Governor four months ago and was not the unnamed individual cited in the FBI affidavit who promised to raise up to a $1 million in exchange for the Senate seat.

“So I am not an emissary. I am not targeted. And I have no accusers. That’s simply not true,” Jackson told ABCNews.com as he arrived in Washington Thursday for an event sponsored by Operation PUSH.

It’s typical of someone who is a compulsive liar, and who doesn’t want to get caught. This is why he keeps getting caught in lies.

President-elect Barack Obama’s chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel, refused to take questions from reporters this morning about whether he was the Obama “advisor” named in the criminal complaint against Gov. Rod Blagojevich.

The complaint states Blagojevich wanted a promise of a high-level appointment or some other reward for Blagojevich in exchange for Blagojevich naming Obama’s friend Valerie Jarrett to replace him in the U.S. Senate.

Emanuel was uncharacteristically absent from Obama’s news conference this morning. He was spotted two hours later in the lobby of Chicago’s City Hall. He was there to listen to his two children performing in a concert with their school, Anshe Emet.

A Sun-Times reporter pressed him to comment about whether he was the emissary named in the criminal complaint.

“You’re wasting your time,” Emanuel said. “I’m not going to say a word to you. I’m going to do this with my children. Dont do that. I’m a father. I have two kids. I’m not going to do it.”

Asked, “Can’t you do both?” Emanuel replied, “I’m not as capable as you. I’m going to be a father. I’m allowed to be a father,” and he pushed the reporter’s digital recorder away.

Blagojevch was caught on tape saying that he wanted the Obama advisor in question to know what Blagojevich wanted in exchange for the Jarrett appointment.

Blagojevich said, “He asks me for the fifth CD thing, I want it to be in his head.” Emanuel represents the 5th Congressional District in Illinois.

No one in the Obama campaign or administration has been charged with any wrongdoing. Obama said this morning that none of his staff has had a hand in any dealmaking on his Senate replacement.

(interesting about the 5th CD, sort of points to Rahm now doesn’t it?)

Barack Obama insists that he and his staff were not involved in the alleged schemes Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich cooked up to sell off the president-elect’s vacant Senate seat.

But the timeline of activity outlined in the FBI’s 76-page complaint against Blagojevich suggests Obama’s team was aware that his home-state governor was playing political hardball in the weeks before his arrest.

That’s because shortly after Blagojevich allegedly told his advisers, in an expletive-laced conference call, that he would not appoint Obama’s pick to the Senate absent huge favors in return, Obama’s apparent pick promptly dropped out of the running for the Senate and joined the new White House staff.

“Reading between the lines … clearly somebody from (Obama’s) operation did have a conversation with Blagojevich,” Democratic strategist Bob Beckel told FOX News. He added that Obama’s representative evidently wasn’t trying to cut a deal since Blagojevich indicated he was “getting nothing out of the Obama people

Federal Sources: Fitzgerald Held Off Blagojevich Bust to Protect Obama Election Chances; Did Obama Fail Ethics Requirements of Illinois Bar?
    Printer Friendly

    By Debbie Schlussel

A federal source of mine with ties to Chicago says that FBI agents had enough to prosecute corrupt, helmet-haired Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich back in June, when he was already engaged in some of the blackmail and extortion alleged by the FBI affidavit and other documents associated with his arrest and prosecution.

The source says that the FBI was suddenly ordered by the U.S. Attorney’s Office–and I believe that order came from the top, ie., U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald and Justice Department officials in Washington–to hold off on doing anything until after the election, so as not to hurt Obama’s White House bid. Here’s what my inside source says.

I know for a fact FBI Chicago had enough to indict Blagojevich in June. They were 2 weeks from indictment in June based on cooperation and testimony at the Stu Levine trial. Levine was Tony Rezko’s bud, fund raiser for Blago, and our President-Elect.

Ed Hale said someone just emailed Obama medical records to him and said they state that Obama has Herpes and AIDS

there was an online std think that had his name on it and aid, (Maybe herpes too) that dissapeared after a couple days. THAT is probably what Ed has

  182. Troy Says:

OMG!!!….Can one get an STD from being online?…Yikes!!!

  183. Foxtrot Says:

Lyn – yes that is what I heard too. It was on a national std website. When the website owner was asked to comment on the situation they said that anyone can post that someone has a disease on this site. It started out being a site for people to place the name of someone with AIDS so that others can be informed if they were going to sleep with them. I think the site has turned into a site for vendettas now.

  184. Troy Says:

What will life look like once Obama’s out of the White House and into the Big House? Does anyone think that the powers that be, his own ilk will allow him to walk away from all of this?

I think Blaggie seems way too comfy for someone in his shoes. I just wonder if he hasn’t rolled over one someone big–I think he’s already cut a deal and that’s why he’s not sweating it. I also think that is why he’s not giving up the Gov. seat right away.

I had already made Peppermint fudge and Rocky Road fudge, so I made a pan of caramel-pecan-coconut fudge and a pan of chocolate-marshmallow fudge. After it cools, I’ll slice it, put in on a pretty gold platter and wrap it with some pretty wrap, put a big bow on it and then I’m off to bed! I hope the people in his office appreciate my sacrifice! I agree and Ed really should do some research before he reports things, I don’t listen all the time but listened a few times a few months ago (way back when Momma E was on) and they were all excited about a Canadian BC that was signed by Dudley dooright. I quit listening that night until a couple weeks ago to hear Cort and some other guest
I think if they would take just a little time and investigate or think before reporting they would have much more credebility

  197. j.b. Says:

Patty, you brought up vendetta…….I wonder if maybe one of BO’s old l o v e r ‘ s had anything to do with that?
I wonder if they lived to tell about it?

  200. peppermintpatty777 Says:

JB I think it was just a bad prank. Really, in my h.op. if we stoop to being like him just to prove that he’s a skanky dirt bag trying to take over the world, then we become the same thing…

I know people are upset, and most people have no outlet for their sense of bewilderment, anger and upset–so, lashing out is the way they deal with it.

What I’m trying to say is that there are street fighters, thugs and bullys (and whiners), and then there are warriors. The former do not really have a code of honor, nor any real direction–they just react, and that they do chaoticly (sp?). The latter have a code of honor, a warriors ethics, and when they act, they are precise and act with intent. I want to be a warrior…

  201. j.b. Says:

No, Troy, but I have noticed that he looks alot like Big Boy! Do they have those in Houston, or do I gotta get a picture?

  202. peppermintpatty777 Says:

Yea, it is definately a $$$ thing for Blago. You know, his kind scares me. He would sell the USA out to the Iraqis (My own h.op.) if it netted him enough

I think the reason that the FBI ended this operation early was because they didn’t want it to look like they were intentionally taping BO the PE… and also, that would lead to another problem which would be if he discussed anything that was a security risk…

  203. peppermintpatty777 Says:

  211. sba1872 Says:

    From Lynn Sweet’s blog 12/3/08:

    blogs.suntimes.com/sweet/2008/12/exclusive_blagojevich_talks_ab.html

“Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. (D-Ill.) is waging an overt drive. I asked Blagojevich what he thought of Jackson’s public campaign.

Blagojevich offered a response I took as lukewarm, but I may be reading too much into his measured comments.

“He’s got a right to do it,” Blagojevich said, “and he obviously believes in himself as a candidate for the United States Senate and his public campaign is, you know, something he obviously believes appropriate and helpful, and all power to him.”

The governor, I learned, is trying to set up an interview with Jackson to discuss the vacancy. He’s already talked to Dem Representatives Jan Schakowsky; Danny Davis, who is becoming more vocal about wanting the seat, and Luis Gutierrez. Former state Senate President Emil Jones, Veterans Affairs chief Tammy Duckworth, and Attorney General Lisa Madigan are near the top of what the governor said was a long list.”
    ——–

Now I have to go back and look at the conversations but if Candidate #5 is JJ Jr., it doesn’t sound like Blago was leaving himself room to choose him. Lynn Sweet (and this is on December 3rd) gets the impression that he’s not particularly interested in him.

Patty777: I love ALL your hats. Hope you’re feeling better through the weekend.

  213. peppermintpatty777 Says:

Doing him a favor… I hope no one does me any favors like that– I could be wrong..but I’m just saying…

With regard to a Con Con, I am not familiar enough with this subject to respond. I’d say a little research is in order. Do you know who is behind the Doctor Bulldog & Ronin site? One thing is for sure, they can’t count. I only counted 26 states with standing calls. It doesn’t say when these calls were made. It seems these calls were made over a long period of time and may not pertain to the present situation. I agree that given the state of the situation today that this could be very dangerous. I just need to find some collaborating evidence and gain a better understanding.

Come now, don’t you realize that you are part of such a minority lunatic fringe that 68% represents a large part of those who HAVEN’T been hermetically sealed inside Obamanation-Land since 4th November – in other words that 68% is seeing the world as it is, unlike you who post here, who not only don’t see the real world, but who are unlikely ever to do so until you emerge from the Obama sewage-heap you’ve chosen to bury yourselves in.

  224. Tenacity Says:

Okay, quick synopsis of a Constitutional Convention. Obviously, this is precisely how the Constitution was created and the first round of amendments occurred. It requires that the state legislatures issue a call for the convention with a minimum of 2/3 of the state calling. Then the US Congress is constitutionally required to convene a convention. Only one assembly is conducted (not 2 houses as normal). The convention has no ratification power. In other words, the convention produces proposed amendment(s) that must still be ratified by 3/4 of the states before the amendments or new constitution becomes law.

I believe that the Doctor Bulldog site is referring to a proposed call for convention that was initiated some years ago to force an amendment to require a balanced budget. Several state have subsequently rescinded their call and the 2/3 requirement was never met. Bulldog suggests that the rescissions may be contested if the 2/3 requirement is met. I doubt that would fly. It appears that it would be very difficult for something like a Con Con to fly under the radar. If a Con Con was convened, it will still have to be ratified by 3/4 of the states and a strong majority of the states are conservative. Thus, liberals would have a tough time slipping a more socialistic document through the ratification process.

Wow! I leave last night and all hell breaks loose! I see we had a “new-be” come on late last night. Slider, while I certainly don’t condone what kaisak said in his entries, I don’t think we should start using the foul language on this blog. Rose has done such a good job at keeping it civil and decent in here thus far. I know people get angry, and you had every right to be angry, but can you be angry without using the “F” word or making aspersions to being gay or having gay sex. I think you are smarter than that. Besides, when you don’t remain calm, the opposition knows they are pushing your buttons, and we don’t want him to know that. My humble opinion. Good to see you back, Slider!

What is going on with this kaisak onisuka person – I do recall when Rose added them to the blog – but sounds like they need to be booted off. Especially with comments like “My new expression to characterize the bloggers here is sewage-forragers. “

  272. jjones Says:

    Wow,
I see the vitriol was running rampant last night…While the personal attacks and insults were started and instigated by the Japanese visitor, I think some of the other comments were a bit un-becoming of this blog and hope that it subsides. I have found that this blog has been an excellent forum for discussing differing opinions (yes, always well sourced). This has and will continue to be a very valuable source of info.

  295. peppermintpatty777 Says:

OK– I’m going to vent–so I’m warning everyone here. Barack Obama can not give a straight answer. It is, I say once again, the reason that everything he says is prefaced with, uhhh, iiii, uuuhhh, iiii. I’m so sick of the lies. We are supposed to be able to “expect” that our President will be held to the highest standard. When they fail, we should be shocked and seek to find out what went wrong! The POTUS can not be like “you and me” (not that there is anything wrong with you and me). They must be held higher, an example of what we are seeking as a country. No, they are not God, they are not saints. We don’t expect that, but we expect them to hold strong moral values, strong ethical values, and strong leadership skills.

Please, someone tell me where in the cosmos does Barack Obama fit into any of this?

This morning,Foxnews is showing an interview from Meet the Press where he talks about his inbility to quit smoking. If the man can’t quit smoking how can he show that he has any self control. Is he ruled by his whims and desires. Is he going to be jonsing for a smoke when he’s deciding whether or not to push the button?

Ok, but that’s not the part that bothers me, this is it.

Tom B.: Have you stopped smoking?

BO: Well you know I have but (patty says: everything after but is bs!), what I said was that you know there are times when I have fallen off the wagon. (garbled blah blah blah can’t be understood)

TB:That means you’ve not stopped smoking

BO: Well to be fair enough, wuh-wuh-wuh wut I would say (notice “would say) is that uh that I have done a terrific job (has this man no sense of humility ever?) uhh under the circumstances of of uh uh making myself much healthier and uh I think (again, hedging) that you will not see any violations of uhh these rules in the White House.

I really don’t care whether the man smokes or not–I think it’s a nasty habit, and I don’t think he is setting a good example for the teens of America, but what I gets me fuming is the man will not give a straight answer.

Why could he not just say, “You know, I had every intent of stopping. I thought this would be a good motivation for me, but I’ve found it to be harder than I thought. Therefore, the honest answer is, no, I have not quit smoking, but I can assure you that I will honor the rules that govern the Oval House and the rest of the White House.” Why can the man not just tell the truth?

  296. peppermintpatty777 Says:

I hate it also when someone lies, they know everyone knows they are lying, but they sort of laugh and expect everyone to agree with their lies and pretend like they are not lying!

That was his disposition–sort of like: “Well, Tom, you know I haven’t quit smoking. You caught me toking on a big one in the Green room–but hey, I uuhhh, I -i-i well, I just fell off the wagon, I’ve really quit…I’m quitting, what you saw uhhh uhhh well that was uuhh just a not what it seemed like cause I uhh well you know I uuhh never have smoked, that’s just the uuhhh, uhhh Republicans, uhh Blagi handed me that right before you uhhh walked in and uhhh I want you to believe this big fat lie and I’m going to lie through my big white uhhh shiny uhhh lying teeth uhh..

  299. jjones Says:

    Hehe,
Patty, do you have any opinions on BO? we can’t seem to get that from your posts.

  300. peppermintpatty777 Says:

Morning Rosie– thanks for “cleaning house”-

    Morning JAC–

One thing that keeps me coming back here is that the information is sourced and “real”– people are intelligent, fun, kind and courteous, and while every once in a while we all have some #%$&^ in our posts, they are usually not vulgar and degrading. I really appreciate this. And, usually the bots and drones don’t bother us too much– they can’t argue with reason and we tend to just ignore them — and then Rose also has steel toed boots when they get out of hand!

    Way-to-go Rosie!

  301. peppermintpatty777 Says:

uhhh uhh well uhhh I uhh don’t think I do, JJ– but sometimes I uuhh I just uhh fall back and uhhh well uhh

(she said while shaking spastically from all the uhhs)

  302. jjones Says:

    Patty,
yeah, his stammering and stutter drives me crazy… this is the guy who is supposed to be an eloquent speaker….my ass he is…

  303. peppermintpatty777 Says:

By the way, I actually transcribed that interview with BO and TB and didn’t just make it up! (except the one where I did make up–uhh I think that might have uhhh been plain though uuh)

  304. peppermintpatty777 Says:

JJ, it’s not his uhhhh’s that bother me. If the man had a real stutter, I would practice grace just like I would want someone to do for me. His stutter is not real. It’s a device he uses to get around giving a direct answer. It’s part of the teflon effect! It’s his inability to give a straight and direct answer, and he doesn’t look the person in the eyes- anyone trained in communication can see that the man is lying!

I just don’t tolerate liars very well at uhhh uhhh all!

  305. peppermintpatty777 Says:

I’ve tried to like the man, even if I can’t respect him. You know, just so I could listen to his speeches and give hm a chance. The problem is, I always feel like I’ve been “felt-up” after I listen to him speak. I feel like I need a hot shower. I know you may think I’m kidding about that, but I’m not. The gals in here will understand what I’m saying– you know you feel after you’ve been groped by a stranger (yes, I hate to say it but that has happened to me before– ;0~

  306. jjones Says:

    Patty,
Agreed, the lying is blaringly obvious, body language and speach patterns are screaming this. Still the uhhh, uhh annoy the crap out of me.

  307. justanamericancindy4 Says:

ever notice when Bam Bam is thinking of a creative way to answer a question that ISN’T memorized he stutters

  308. jjones Says:

    JAC,
Yes, that is the point exactly. I can not for the life of me figure out how he hood-winked so many people

  309. peppermintpatty777 Says:

JAC, it’s not that it isn’t memorized, it’s that he’s trying to figure out if he’s getting ready to contradict yet another lie, and how can he hedge his answer so that he can backpeddal later. It’s an art that he has mastered from his life of surrounding himself with corrupt individuals

or were you just being funny because of my exasperated diatribe above?

  310. justanamericancindy4 Says:

I smoke,…… and I will be the first one to say that it is a bad habit……I quit once before for over a year…
It is as less of a physical habit than it is a crutch…… You can’t be pushed into quiting or it don’t stick long term…. It’s is one of those things that you have to say enough is enough and that can only come from deep within yourself…

  311. rosettasister Says:

Will put up new post ASAP!

I just posted this at Free Republic.

Did we ever find out any more about this?

    ————————

    To: little jeremiah

    Good morning!

These comments were made by Linda Starr, not Lisa.

Who knew Hannity had an Obama BC Thread?!

RosettaSister got a mention along with Linda Starr:

    http://forums.hannity.com/showthread.php?t=1027681&page=1854

I believe Linda Starr made these comments at Berg’s site in comments section.

Of course we’re all curious and also curious about the following:

“Rosetta — -have you checked into this clandestine filing in the D.C. court from Berg et al? I would be very curious to see if you can find out any more on this subject.”

    This court I think:

  312. peppermintpatty777 Says:

JJ… I’m going to give you a Biblical answer “because if you live in obscurity then you walk in obscurity” (if you live in darkness then you walk in darkness)— as many good people voted for BO, yet their hearts (and some are my dear beloved ones) have been darkened by refusing the see the truth about him, so they followed him into his shadow of darkness. When we look to someone else for the promise of hope and change we walk in their shadow… Just my 1/2 denarii’s worth

  313. jjones Says:

    Patty,
Being that I am a practicing athiest ( oxymoron, I know) I usually don’t find the bible of much relevance. I will give you this one… truer words could not have been spoken about this.

  314. justanamericancindy4 Says:

that is what I was saying,…. if it isn’t a planned speech that he carefully articulated to cover his a$$, then he stutters

  315. peppermintpatty777 Says:

JJ, I respect that, but the truth is the truth– if someone follows someone who is walking in a shadow, then they are also walking in a shadow– if I follow someone down a dark ally, then I have to walk in that dark ally too.

I think too many people have followed too closely behind this guy that they fail to see the forest due to the trees.

  316. peppermintpatty777 Says:

Yep, JAC, this guy has to plan to cover his @$$ or he is constantly showing it!

Do we know when the SCOTUS might have an answer today?

    whats new people

  318. ddlew Says:

Personally, I could care less about the smoking. Sure, smoking is unhealthy but so is a lot of other stuff. If the guy wants to smoke let him. If he wants to smoke in the White House, let him. If he wants to smoke in the Oval Office, let him. I would rather he be comfortable and not have to take a smoke break during major decision making times.

The media’s only hang up with the guy is the smoking issue. They all think, this guy is PERFECTLY WORTHY OF OUR WORSHIP, except for that POLITICALLY INCORRECT SMOKING HABIT. They feel that if they can pressure him JUST ENOUGH, he’ll stop and they can freely worship him.

Let him smoke AND ANYONE ELSE that wants to smoke.

I figured late today at the soonest
I wish they wouldn’t do these conferences on Friday; with issues this big..
If they side with the case then there is more potential for unrest on a week-end. and If they need more time then it is a 4 day wait for an answer.

The only good thing, with this being so similar to Leo’s it should take as long……. we can hope.

  322. ddlew Says:

It must be he77 up on the hill right now,…….. no decision is completely right, and just trying to keep the country from going further down hill.

White House Press Secretary Dana Perino said in a statement it would be “irresponsible” to let the companies crash. So she said Bush will “consider other options,”

  336. peppermintpatty777 Says:

I’m not attacking BO or anyone else for smoking– I disagree DD, the White House houses national treasures, and cigarette smoke can ruin them. He can smoke in certain areas, such as the residential area of the WH.

My point is that he lies — why not just say, “yes, I said I was quitting, I couldn’t–don’t want to–never intended to– whatever— it was my plan to do it but I didn’t”—instead, he hedges

He always hedges what he says unless it’s scripted. That’s my point. I’m not against people having the right to smoke, in the appropriate places.

Assuming you are a reader and have an open mind, I’d like to suggest a book for you, “The Case For A Creator” by Lee Strobel. Strobel was an atheist and the book is about what today’s scientific evidence demonstrates. It is a most interesting and educational read for everyone.

DC Press Conference. In general it was pretty good if you could stay awake through some of it. I thought Berg did a good job; Taitz comes across okay, but not as authoritative as I would like; Schulz has moments of passion that are encouraging; I happen to like Manning, but know that many will not. I agree that Schrieber’s analysis not accurate and too critical, but Schulz would have been much better off if he had allowed Schrieber to write his intro. The PC was necessarily long, but would have been much improved if they had prepared better (audio/visually) and cut at least 30 minutes out of the whole event.

The only new information that I heard was Schulz announcing a national We The People convention to be held in the event that the SCOTUS, Justice Department and/or Congress doesn’t do something about the constitutional crisis. Also, I found Shelly Baker’s comments fascinating about proof of media bias due to oil money enfluence in the ownership of most MBOs (sorry if that term reminds you of Norway). Baker commented in the Q&A session and she was from Morning Star Radio.

    Patty,
I am sorry, but I cannot even read your posts when you ape BO. I am having trouble keeping the sound on when he is on the TV. I have to give what is on my heart to God. I view him the same as Osama Bin Laden…someone to be tracked down and annihilated. He is a master deceiver. He is no man of God. I believe he is evil to the core and must be stopped, if not by our pathetic government, then by the rule of law enforced by the people. This is still the land of the brave and it is time for the brave to rise up and make their voice known as one. Schulz may have the answer through his We The People National Convention. I believe we need better leadership than him for such an event. If lawdaug’s post is correct and it becomes obvious that the SCOTUS is failing to protect the rights of the people via the Constitution, the time for such a convention may be NOW.

I say convene NOW, because now we still have the right of assembly.
