We (Russian: Мы) is a dystopian novel by Yevgeny Zamyatin completed in 1921.

It was written in response to the author’s personal experiences with the Russian revolutions of 1905 and 1917, his life in the Newcastle suburb of Jesmond and work in the Tyne shipyards at nearby Wallsend during the First World War. It was on Tyneside that he observed the rationalization of labour on a large scale.

The first English translation of We was published in 1924.

… it is not necessary to be intimately familiar with the totalitarian political structure of Stalin’s Russia to feel the full impact of We. Instead, the clarity of this book’s language and the amazing characterization and plotting carry the reader into a world both absurd and nightmarish, transcending what must have been the oppressive atmosphere in which it was written.

The narrator of this work is both numbered and lives at D-503, for in the world of We there are no names, only designations. He is the chief Builder of the One State’s most glorious project, the construction of a spaceship, the Integral. The work itself is a journal that is to be carried as cargo on the Integral, praising the efficiency, the rationality, and the happiness that life within the confines of the One State can bring to those worlds the Integral will someday visit.

We is an exploration of the individual vs. the social order, a celebration of the importance of imagination, and ultimately, a warning regarding the dehumanizing consequences of imagination’s destruction. Zamyatin’s profound understanding of the human soul transcends what could have been a heavy, demagogic work. He celebrates the power of laughter, injecting a lightness into the text at the most unexpected points.

I know BO isn’t President Elect yet but check out the following info from the 20th Amendment:

“Section 3. If, at the time fixed for the beginning of the term of the President, the President elect shall have died, the Vice President elect shall become President. If a President shall not have been chosen before the time fixed for the beginning of his term, or if the President elect shall have failed to qualify then the Vice President elect shall act as President until a President shall have qualified…”

Read the scenario, OR IF THE PRESIDENT ELECT SHALL HAVE FAILED TO QUALIFY.

So, they are totally admitting it’s possible for a President Elect to have FAILED TO QUALIFY after he was elected.

Why is this scenario even possible? There are only three things required to qualify. Why on Earth do they have a remedy to the President Elect having failed to qualify?

Question 1, Yes or No – If court actions have been filed to have Obama supply his REAL Birth Certificate, then doesn’t it stand to reason that your NutBar Experts are looking at a forgery?

Question 2 – If this is truly a violation of the Constitution and Obama has not proven to Federal Authorities that he meets all the qualifications to be President, then WHY ISN’T John McCain, the RNC, Every Republican Congressman, Senator and Governor in this country along with major media pounding down the doors of the Supreme Court?

Answer, Um yes we know we are looking at a forgery that’s why we want to see the real one. Also, why would someone show a forged document to prove his eligibility unless his real one is, well…a little too real LOL

  13. Foxtrot Says:

Hello Everyone! I am back. I see someone by the name of Jen was “challenging” some of you in a not so nice way.

  14. hockeyfan530 Says:

in the logic in the first question the fact that it’s a forgery is of know consequence. How can you tell it’s fake if it’s a forgery! LOL That is a what came first the chicken or the egg kind of circular logic

i am nervous to see what dec 5 will bring.

I look at it this way. There IS something needs to be done. If not about the BC about the dual citizenship issue. All they have to do is determine if it nullifies his natural born citizenship. Yes or no. It IS THAT SIMPLE. No further evidence required. Just interpret the constitution and it’s intent…problem solved. If the highest court in the land that is supposed to uphold the constitution refuses to address the issue what is the point of even voting? I will not vote next election unless this is resolved.

    1) The uniformed will be deciding anyway because the media will have gotten away with choosing the president for the american people and they’ll do it again

    2) If those that are supposed to uphold the constitution what is the point?

Yup – our Framers were smart enough to know that it was possible for a President Elect to be deemed unqualified.

That’s why we have the Electoral College and Congress. As the checks and balance to the popular vote.

Too bad they are probably all bought and paid for.

    Cindy,

I have to agree, if they agree to hear the case and stay the vote they will announce it on Monday.

Not that this matters but 7 of the 9 Justices where appointed by Republicans. I think atleast 5 will decide in favor of Leo. So if 5 agree then it will put a stay on the vote automatically?

  47. amy Says:

I realy believe that Obama thinks he can get away with anything, that he is infallible.

  50. Foxtrot Says:

JAC, yes it was. Someone else posted the proof that the SS# was false though.

  51. amy Says:

They will NOT be deciding on anything except whether the case has merit to be heard.. The Rule Of Four means that ALL it will take to be heard is 4 of the justices to agree. Then it will move forward and be scheduled for hearings.

  52. hockeyfan530 Says:

oh, no problem, i didn’t know if you wanted it if so i can get it…if you don’t feel like looking for it

  53. justanamericancindy4 Says:

I think it is funny that bam bam ran away from the press today

  54. Melissa Says:

I believe we have at least five Justices that love the Constitution.

People (not here…) keep suggesting they aren’t going to touch the case. Um, isn’t this their JOB? They could never dismiss a case of this magnitude, could they?

What if they let it slide and then it all came out in the wash later. Wouldn’t they have some sort of responsibility for that?

I just can’t imagine them NOT hearing full argument on this. It is a GREAT case. Cort’s case is too. Same with Orly’s two suits.

If the DNC won’t vet their puppet properly, WE are going to do it for them.

  55. Foxtrot Says:

Fan, as far as I know Linda Starr is legit. She is an insider with Berg and his assistant Lisa. I have called and spoken to Berg a couple of times during these long months and she is “in the loop”. She actually started the ball rolling with Berg with her own research. She has something BIG up her sleeve—I feel it, based on her comments she has posted. And when Linda Starr says it is BIG . . . it is BIG! You need only look at her history of big stories she has exposed to know that.

    Hi Cindy!

There happened to be a couple of comments from same IP in moderation.

It seems very juvenile to come here with the intended purpose of attacking me or any of the regulars here.

  60. amy Says:

I read their schedule and it appears to me that there is no openings in their schedule until January, so they WOULD have to stay the election until it is settled..And that means a few more months of Bush and I imagine Bush already knows this.

Does anyone know? Does Obama still have his “twitch”?

  65. Foxtrot Says:

JAC – there is a provision for a President to do just that, if there is some sort of emergency within our government/country. I believe the provision is an extension of 60 days. Can’t remember where I read it, but I definitely know there is some sort of clause for it.

  80. sliderblaze Says:

    um, Bush’s spokesmans answer FOX

  81. Melissa Says:

Okay – the people that don’t want to believe that Barack Obama could have made it this far as an ineligible candidate need to read Section 3 of the 20th Amendment.

There is a remedy to the problem of a President elect being deemed unqualified. This means our Framers were smart enough to put this safety net into place.

Someone wrote this in response to me on another site:

“The framers were afraid that one day due to improper influences someone with divided loyalties or otherwise unqualified per the Constitutional mandates would be selected by the people. Thus the framers put the checking mechanism to the pure popular vote in there with the Electoral College and Congress to be sure only a Constitutionally qualified person would ever be sworn in and serve as our President.”

Anyone that asks you how on Earth he could have made it this far should be directed to Section 3 of the 20th Amendment. That should at least show them it is POSSIBLE. Otherwise, why would there be a remedy for it?

  86. Foxtrot Says:

Slider, what was Obama’s bizarre response in his press conference?

  87. Foxtrot Says:

Amy, I think people will be angry at those who exposed Obama and we will be called, what else . . .RACIST! I really don’t think they will be angry at Obama, at least not initially. In time, they will be, but it will be a while! That is my gut on it.

  88. sliderblaze Says:

it wasnt obamas response, it was the white house spokesman response when asked by WND’s reporter about the scotus cases

  89. Ksinde. Says:

Amy, exactly! it will be the MSM’s fault. but they will like riots bc it keeps them employed. People are going to be angrier if they stay the electors bc they know nothing about the hardcore facts of these cases. if the MSM atleast attempted to explain the facts correctly people may disagree but atleast they would know why.

  90. amy Says:

Now Al, nothing is more honorable than being a farmer…nothing simple about that…but I think you jest– and you are def. not simpleminded, except where your politics are concerned–jk.:)

But, Al, let me ask you, what’s more pressing–economy or our constitution? I would rather live free in a box then live with luxury and not have the freedoms we have here.

You know, Al, the Hebrew people, when Moses led them out of captivity, had been out for about 29 days. They had seen the plagues, the parting of the sea, had eaten manna, and didn’t labor under the task masters/slave drivers’ hands, perhaps even the first hebrew child among them born in freedom, yet all they could do was look back to the land of captivity and wail about their flesh pots that they had left in Egypt.

I don’t want to sell my freedoms for a little flesh in the pot (be it steak or my 401K)…

I know you think that BO is PE and will soon be POTUS. But, if I take your viewpoint, unless he comes forward and voluntarily speaks up, then we should just assume that he’s been properly vetted. If this is true, then why has he had everything about him sealed and hidden? If there’s nothing to hide, then why hide it? That, I can’t understand.

  92. amy Says:

Al, you said, “If the Supreme Court “doesn’t do anything” I’d be the first to admit I would be dejected, Hockeyfan’. If the country we love has been hijacked from within that wouldn’t set well with me. ”

But, if it were not for all the tin foil hat people pushing this, and I’ve been pushing it for MONTHS, then there wouldn’t be anyone even asking the questions. If we all just took the attitude that “FBI and CIA have done their jobs and we need to all just celebrate”, then there wouldn’t be anyone causing the SC to examine this travesty. Amy, you got that right. The truth is that terrorists should NOT get the same rights as military! When military have signed on to the rules of the Geneva Convention, then they should not be tortured and should be treated with respect…to a degree. But, terrorists torture people! The Jewish people in Chabad house last week were tortured to the extent that Dr.s who examined them are tormented. These dogs don’t deserve special treatment. I’m not saying waterboard them or pull their finger nails out, but if it saves 20,000 people, and they have chosen to live like dogs…then we have to stop the dogs.

Fan, yes i’ve been flipping since 02, part time, i wanted to do it full time but got screwed out of 20K by my parents, they were my investors for my first couple, after we got 40K in the bank the took it an paid off all their debt, i didnt recieve on red cent from them….if it woulda been anyone else, i woulda been calling up my friends to help me hide a body.

working on a good on right now tho, i do custom home interiors as a living.

sorry to hear that,….. my sister and husband are like that with their adult kids…. one of many reasons I have nothing to do with them

  156. Ksinde. Says:

    you too hockey?!?

Is this economy better or worse for you when doing that type of project?

  157. justanamericancindy4 Says:

    ksinde

better for buying…. I would guess the selling would be a bit longer on the market

  158. hockeyfan530 Says:

i would say better. But since i only do 1 or 2 a year and I don’t have to flip it quickly it works better for me. I do it in an up and coming neighborhood and most of the people that buy homes here will be able to get loans with no problem. Plus sellers panic and get what they can for them which is better for me buying and i don’t need to “unload” them when i’m done. I can afford to sit on them as i got the houses so cheap

  159. Ksinde. Says:

cindy, that’s what i was thinking…plus materials are so expensive now too

  160. hockeyfan530 Says:

materials are very reasonable for me at this point. Cheaper than 1 year ago in fact

  161. justanamericancindy4 Says:

If someone had the capital it would be great to buy up houses to rent then flip when the economy picked up

  162. Ksinde. Says:

then again cindy, you could always rent too.

  163. sliderblaze Says:

Ks i do most the upgrades, i dont do carpet or plumbing

Ks, it really dont matter on the economy, when you flip a house, it’s like printing up your own money, it just comes down to, are you gonna make 80K in a good economy or make 60K in a bad economy, either way, it’s a good deal just not as lucrative

  164. Ksinde. Says:

lol cindy u beat me…great minds think alike…lol

I was a realtor for 6 years, gave up my license two years ago

  166. hockeyfan530 Says:

now this is just plain scary:

Planned Parenthood of Indiana is now selling gift certificates redeemable “for services or the recipient’s choice of birth control method.” Those “methods” include abortion.

    societyandreligion.com/death-by-gift-certificate/920/

  167. sliderblaze Says:

you can always hold a property, and equity out of it, but when you do that, most lenders will only give you a 70% LTV, (loan to value) ratio. if you are equity rich in the house, you can do that, equity out, rent it out, its like taking out a loan that other people are paying back, ive done that a couple of times

  168. Ksinde. Says:

you go slider…. good deal for sure!

  169. hockeyfan530 Says:

agreed slider, i’m getting to a point on my next house where i’ll do very little if any of the work myself. That will be nice as now i do everything i can do without needing a license…no plumbing or electric or hvac

  170. sliderblaze Says:

the house i’m working on now i got for 28K, spent 7K so far, i’m gonna get it rezoned commercial and hold it and equity it out. the after repair value, zoned commercial is 200K for the square footage, i bought it cus its right down the street from a major mariott/convention center being built

  171. justanamericancindy4 Says:

If bam bam gets his way.. there will be selective birth….. if they want a boy they will abort if it is a girl…. and so on…..it opens up one hell of a can of worms

  172. Ksinde. Says:

HOCKEY…that is of the wall, unbelievable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i don’t know what to say to that.

slider…yeah right now most people would have hard time getting mortgage so they would need to rent.

Cindy, in good times that is a great job!

  173. Ksinde. Says:

Slider…. 28K??????!!!!!!! Now that is flipping cheap.

  174. hockeyfan530 Says:

didn’t say something about getting rid of ALL restrictions on abortion as his first act as president? Right around the time he said it was “above his pay grade”

  175. hockeyfan530 Says:

    that’s didn’t “Obama” say something…..

  176. sliderblaze Says:

Ksinde, some of us still have money, i wasnt invested in the market AT ALL. I seen this coming. I put my money in gold for a while, bought it at 400/t ounce and sold it at 823/t ounce. i wish i woulda hung on a lil bit more. but, u do what you feel.

  177. hockeyfan530 Says:

    slider that’s awesome

  178. Ksinde. Says:

oohh they are selling BO coins on tv, i think i am going to get a set, does anyone want me to get them a set also…lol

  179. hockeyfan530 Says:

well seeing as i can’t stand the sight of him or the sound of his voice i’ll pass on the coins

  180. hockeyfan530 Says:

I actually am thinking of something far more inappropriate to say about those coins but i don’t want to be hateful LOL

  181. sliderblaze Says:

thats what i bought if for Ksinde 28K 3 stories, 5 bedrooms 2 baths a real shit hole, the mariott is 2 blocks up, the financial district is being extended down south into my block. thats why i got it. the building next to me is onsale for 195K, so, i’m holding mine and cashing in on the equity, 28K + 10K in repairs = 38K investment, minus 200K(est) – 70% Ltv = 140000 – 38K (investment) = 102K est profit. Office space rented out for 2000/month to cover my equity loan.

    +++++++++++++

Now, is that something you give for like, say your daughter’s 14th birthday? Or a wedding gift? How about a baby shower gift– you know, just in case they don’t get all the presents they want, they can just cut their losses, try again later on when the economy is better, people are giving better gifts. And, suppose you use your gift cert. but find out it wasn’t what you want after all, can you get a “refund”?

Stuff like this just makes me want to puke!

  186. Ksinde. Says:

  196. Jen Says:

    Just,

You said you guys aren’t rude? Well, that’s just not true, especially to people who challenge you.

    And Slider,

Yet again, there are no credible facts that Obama is inelligible for the office of the presidency. None. Each person you site is a non-credible person. The supreme court is taking this case because that’s their job. That doesn’t mean it has any standing. Even Fox news isn’t taking any of this seriously. What does that tell you?

You can assume I only watch the ‘MSM’. I watch all the major news networks, including Fox News. I read blogs from both sides. I listen to Rush and Hannity 2-3 times a week.

I was a staunch Hillary Clinton supporter. I fought Obama almost all the way. I hated the way his campaign treated her. But I got over it, because I finally realized what a disaster this country would be in if McCain and Palin were elected.

Yes, you are batsh*t crazy if you honestly believe that our own government would hide something like the BC issue and the media would ignore hard facts just because it’s Obama.

  197. Jen Says:

Oh, and speaking of Glen Beck…he even said on his radio show that these theories are way out there and to MOVE ON.

  198. Tenacity Says:

Even the internet media seems to not understand the NBC issues. That Shocker article misses the point in several places. Just like Bob Unruh at FR, most of them believe that BO’s problems go away if he was born in HI. The fact is it doesn’t matter where he was born. He is not a Natural Born Citizen.

  199. justanamericancindy4 Says:

guess the ban of Jen didn’t take…. Rose needs to fix that

    Hi Cindy!

There happened to be a couple of comments from same IP in moderation.

    Not very nice.

So far I’ve only had to block (2) IP’s.

It seems very juvenile to come here with the intended purpose of attacking me or any of the regulars here.

    That’s not going to fly.

There has to be a more mature way of conveying to your opponent that you do not share their interpretation.

Anyway, I, for one, am enjoying the banter here.

So long as it is respectful.

Does anyone regularly read [xxx] blog? I’ve seen a couple there that post here, so I hope I don’t offend them when I say this: They are batsh*t crazy there. They have these wild conspiracy theories and think Obama is Satan. And they only site nutjobs like Andy Martin, Jerome Corsi, Phil Berg, Ed Hale, etc. One poster quoted Ed Hale as saying he has an insider in the white house and that Obama isn’t going to be our next President. Crazy, crazy stuff! I just want to laugh, but I really feel sorry for them.

Girl, ain’t that the truth?! I saw some comments yesterday… Some people over there need to be careful. There are things you can say (or type) that are illegal. Being angry is one thing, but making threats is something else.

I couldnt get my son into football with that piece of sh!t COLB obama “produced” to us. If people’s ability to pay their mortgages are at the heart of the problem, why are we fucking about several steps up the chain from there, trying to stabilize banks and inject capital to make up for bad mortgages? Why not just firm up the mortgagees themselves, which would, in turn, fix the problems of the institutions holding them as assets?

Don’t know if this got posted on here, but Berg has an update on his court case at obamacrimes.com. Here’s a little bit of it from the website:

In the afternoon, December 1, 2008, Lisa, Mr. Berg’s Assistant contacted the U.S. Supreme Court and spoke with the Clerk. The Clerk informed Lisa Mr. Berg’s Petition for Writ of Certiorari would be distributed to all nine (9) Justices and a conference should be set within ten (10) days. As I’m sure you are aware, during the conference the Justices will discuss Mr. Berg’s Petition for the Writ of Certiorari and decide whether or not to grant or deny the Petition. It only takes four (4) out of nine (9) Justices to agree to grant Mr. Berg’s Petition for Writ of Certiorari. The Justices can also make other Orders during the Conference.

Mr. Berg’s Office also learned the Solicitor General is only representing the Federal Election Commission

Additional documents will be filed within the next couple of days. All Legal briefs will be posted on our website, so please continue checking back for updates.

Chester Arthur was eligible to be President. Here is the info on what was going on at the time:

The Naturalization Act, passed by Congress on June 18, 1798, increased the amount of time necessary for immigrants to become naturalized citizens in the United States from five to fourteen years.

Although it was passed under the guide of protecting national security, most historians conclude it was really intended to decrease the number of voters who disagreed with the Federalist political party.

At the time, most immigrants (namely Irish and French) supported Thomas Jefferson and the Democratic Republicans, the political opponents of the Federalists. This act was repealed in 1802.

    ***************

Seeing as the act was repealed in 1802, requirement went back to five years. His father was a citizen by the time he was born.

His father married a US citizen in 1821 and Chester A. Arthur was born in 1829.

    Good morning!

Just want to comment about the trolls… I’ll bet the reason they’re here is because of people like me who regularly check Rosetta’s blog for the best and latest info – which we always find! But it’s even more than that, because your discussions explore and examine each new issue from different angles without arguing and name calling and all the other you-know-what the Obots throw out. People can be educated and informed here without all the snarkiness.

And I think they’re getting more and more desperate. The MSM blackout is fading fast, and they know it. People are talking and finding out about this whole mess despite their best efforts, so they have to send the Obots to muck it up. Yesterday I was reading comments on an article where one poster kept saying, “There are no Supreme Court cases. They were all dismissed. Show me the proof.” Thankfully, someone posted a link to the Supreme Court docket, and then he changed his tune to, “It’s just for review. They won’t actually hear the case. They get too many important cases to review this.” I could almost hear the desperation!

I sometimes wish I had more time and energy to post, but at the same time, I do just enjoy reading and catching up when I have the chance too. So six of one and half a dozen of the other!

Anyway, keep up the good work Rosetta’s Gang!

  286. Foxtrot Says:

Hi Everyone! I only have a minute for right now but I wanted to put this API thing to rest finally. Here is a post from obamacrimes.com

    Regarding API
written by Linda Starr, December 04, 2008

Yesterday, a heated email exchange occured between API’s Sammy Korir and Lisa, Phil Berg’s Assistant. Lisa continues to insist that any agreement they had to represent API was violated by Sammy Korir when he failed to produce the documentation and tapes in order for Phil to negotiate a release. In fact, without telling Phil anything, API allegedly hired two other lawyers, a Canadian and an American, and allegedly proceeded to negotiate with Fox, without Phil’s input or advice.

API was required by contractual agreement to produce the tapes and documentation to Phil so that he could negotiate a deal for them and facilitate their release of the tapes. In order for Phil to represent them, he had to have the tapes and documentation so he could protect the integrity of the tapes. Fox claims no such negotiation was ever entered or any contact made with API. API never sent anything to Phil or the webmaster, even though they repeatedly claimed to have sent the items. No tracking number was ever provided and DHL, which API claimed was the shipping company, stated nothing was brought to them for shipment or requested anything be picked up.

Now, Sammy Korir is angry and wants Phil and/or Lisa to stop telling people there are no tapes and this is a hoax. Sammy Korir continues to falsely state things that are simply not true.. He is claiming Phil begged to represent them and other false statements. Phil offered his assistence to API to facilitate the release of the tapes. API did not fulfill their end of the deal to finalize the representation. I see this latest exchange between Sammy Korir and Phil Berg’s assistant, Lisa, as an attempt to commit the crime of extortion by threatening Lisa with suit if Phil or Lisa makes any public statement denying API’s claims of representation. I don’t know what API is gaining from this fraud, but we do not believe they have any such tapes.

I have urged Lisa and/or Phil to make a public statement denying representation of API. I do think that will be forthcoming in the next day or so.

Yes, lady–agreed there are many cases out there now challenging President-elect’s eligibility, but until even a single one of them can pass the test/standard of “standing”, we are basically right where we are at the moment, Susan, a classic stalemate, which means the stalemate status sides with President-elect Obama because he has said with much conviction that he was born in Hawaii, and to date lady, no one, nada, zilch anything has disproved that. Case closed, Susan. Have a nice day, that’s if you can bring yourself to accept the nagging inevitability that your next president will be Mr. Obama. Oh, sorry about your lil’ chatty doll’s head. The hijacking would go unnoticed, unchallenged. People would be blissfully ignorant, Al, but only for a short time.

    *************************************************************

Susan, Susan, Susan, with apologies to President Ronald Reagan, “there you go again”…Please stop for a few seconds lady, take a deep breath and ponder this simple statement: The federal agencies tasked with determining that Mr. Obama is eligible to hold the presidency have already made that determination–even before the Iowa Caucus and/or New Hampshire primary, otherwise, Susan, Mr. Obama’s candidacy would have been grounded a long time ago. With that said, Susan, as American citizens we all are entitled to Due Process, so even though there are all these cases out there challenging President-elect Obama’s eligibility, it’s not a matter of there’s something amiss as much as these plaintiffs have their rights to Due Process, but when all is said and done, Mr. Obama takes the oath of office next month as the next President of the United States of America hon’. Sorry if that hurts your feelings, Susan.

  311. Mia Says:

Well, I think – I hope – that when all this comes to light, the American people will at least consider the bc forgery and the ssr forgery as VERY important. Not to mention all the half-truths and out-and-out lies. The natural born issue does seem to be arguable, and if Obama had been honest about it from the start, it probably would’ve been ignored/forgiven by many of his supporters. But I don’t think they can sweep the forgeries under the rug. Especially since everyone has to produce their own birth certificate for certain things.

My daughter started a new job this morning, and she had to bring both her Social Security card and her bc. (Sorry, I just can’t bring myself to us “ss” for the social security card – too many ugly connotations!). She’s working in a kennel taking care of the animals – feeding, cleaning their pens, etc. It’s just crazy that someone who picks up dog poo has to prove their eligibility for the job, but not the guy who wants the most important job in the world? Crazy.

I don’t watch or read any mainstream news anymore. What’s the point? It’s all bull poo anyway. Much better info here!

  312. hockeyfan530 Says:

the single most damaging thing i think would be Obama’s college records showing him as and Indonesian or Kenyan citizen. Case closed bye bye. You are now the “chosen Done”! Now get out of my country and take most of your followers with you.

  313. thinkingmom11 Says:

Al – give it a rest. Susan has moved on and what is your obsession with her doll!? Please don’t tell me you are going to latch onto the doll with the same dogged determination you did the friggin’ bread crumbs – are you?!

Please stop using “lady” in such a derogatory tone – not getting you anywhere with anyone.

No one has determined who exactly DOES have standing so until it is figured out – people have to just keep trying. Personally, I think the 10th amendment gives the American people standing – the responsibility to determine a presidential candidates eligibility is not specifically designated to the Fed or the State – then that responsibility falls to the People.

I think that most of us are WAY past where Obama was born and have moved on to a more sophisticated arguement that has apparently escaped your comprehension: Obama could never be a Natural Born Citizen because he (by his own admission even) was a dual citizen at birth, had Kenyan citizenship until he was 21, may have held Indonesian citizenship for a period in his life and as far as has been discovered, never took a oath of allegiance upon returning to USA to reclaim/reinstate his USA citizenship. By any understanding of NATURAL BORN, there is no way Obama could be defined as such.

I will agree that there may be a nagging inevitability to Obama being our president but I am not going to give up without a fight, Al. We are fighting for what we believe is right and what we hold dear – our Constitution.

Oh, what do you think of the article I posted up there about Bonior?? Do you like socialist? Do you think Obama has good judgement? Do you think we have nothing to worry about? By “WE” of course, I mean, people who love this country the way it was meant to be, free-markets, equal protection, equal rights (not equal “things”), believe in American Exceptionalism, and personal responsibility – I may not be including you in my assumption – it’s hard to tell if you woudl fit in….

Contrary to what others feel, I think Berg’s case has the most merit because I think he has the most evidence waiting in the wings. Time will tell I guess.

    Posted late yesterday

    Attention Americans:

I used to work for the MSM up until, let’s say recently. I had a career that extended for many years, and I was “let go” for “the good of the company.”

My crime? I attempted to bring forth the truth about what’s going on. The truth is, simply, Mr. Barack Obama is not a natural born citizen of the United States. Mr. Obama, factcheck.org, and a case in the Supreme Court of the United States all say that Mr. Obama was born as a dual national. Yes – he was born a British Subject. That he had any U.S. nationality at birth is
doubtful because his mother was not of age under the law that applied when he was born.

The birth certificate / certification is irrelevant. The facts I just stated prove that no matter where he was born, Mr. Obama is not a natural born citizen of the United States.

However, it appears very likely that Mr. Obama was born in Kenya, and also that he was a citizen of Indonesia AFTER he was of legal age. In addition, he allegedly filed a Selective Service registration at age 18, when our investigation showed he was not living in the United States.

Before I was “let go” I was told to “drop this immediately.”

I personally know of a case where a television station was threatened with
license revocation because they were about to report on this story. I also know that TV-36 did successfully report on the Phil Berg case five weeks ago. What this says is some information is getting out and there may not be a “government conspiracy” at play. But I do not really know what the game is.

What I do know is I will attempt to bring a legal action against my former employer for this unjustified action against me and against the truth.

What exactly does Mr. Obama hope to
accomplish through this? Does he expect
this is all going to simply disappear? Or are all those who oppose him going to simply disappear?

AL wrote: “The federal agencies tasked with determining that Mr. Obama is eligible to hold the presidency have already made that determination–even before the Iowa Caucus and/or New Hampshire primary, otherwise, Susan, Mr. Obama’s candidacy would have been grounded a long time ago.”

Could you expand on that for me please? Months ago, when I first learned of the lawsuits against McCain, I tried like crazy to find out who exactly is responsible for verifying a candidate’s credentials, and found nothing. I was surprised, since this was the second time McCain ran. I would have thought it would have been verified in 2000. As far as I can tell, there is no procedure for verifying birth docs, etc., at neither the state nor the federal level.

That’s why I wasn’t surprised that the issue came up with Obama also, since I knew (or thought I knew) that if McCain’s docs had never been verified, then Obama’s would not have been either.

And I am very leery of Obama’s birth certificate. Even if the copy provided has not been falsified, I know that the form used is for undocumented births: either the baby was born at home and not in a hospital, or they were born in another state or country to a Hawaiian resident. I know because my sister-in-law was born in Hawaii in ’62 and her birth certificate is nothing like the one posted by Obama. Her brother, however, was born in California, and Hawaii issued him one just like the one Obama posted.

Something funny about that… Her parents were visiting family in California when her brother was born 2 months premature – that’s why he was born in California and not Hawaii. They really did not expect him to live. Since in those days (and even today to a lesser extent), flying is not allowed at the end of the pregnancy, it seems implausible that Obama’s mom would have been traveling so close to her due date. But maybe Obama was premature also. Maybe they thought they could make a quick trip to Obama Sr’s homeland and be back well before the baby was born, but it didn’t work out like that. Just a thought.

And, AL, just for the record, I’d like to believe you’re right and that Obama has been fully vetted and is fully eligible to take office. Not because I like his politics, but because I hate seeing this great nation suffer even more divisiveness and turmoil from within. We don’t need that. Either way though, I hope the Supreme Court does examine the issue in toto, and this issue is resolved for perpetuity. Now that we know the weakness, it needs to be dealt with.

Socialist Party Uses Obscure Method to Get on Iowa Ballot
    August 18th, 2008
This year, the Socialist Party used an almost-forgotten method for getting its presidential candidate on the Iowa ballot. Iowa gives statewide minor party and independent candidates a choice of either submitting 1,500 signatures, or attracting 250 voters to a meeting. The latter method seems difficult, and as far as is known, no one had used it since 1968, when it only required 50 attendees.

However, recently the Secretary of State ruled that the 250-person meeting requirement may be satisfied by holding a meeting at an outdoor location. The Socialist Party set up its meeting at an outdoor spot on the campus of the University of Iowa. That spot had lots of pedestrian traffic. Persons walking by were asked to sign, and that person was considered an attendee. Washington state has a similar relaxed attitude toward what constitutes a “meeting.” By contrast, Oregon has a very rigid idea about such meetings. Oregon has a 1,000-person attendence alternative for statewide independent candidates, but all 1,000 voters must be in a room simultaneously, or the meeting is invalid.

Yes, the members on the nation’s highest court are immune from tampering/threats, etc…no doubts there as the framers of the US Constitution ensured this dynamic; however, Foxy, remember when all is said and done on Firday the individual privacy clause will be invoked here, essentially saying that Mr. Obama nor anyone else can be compelled to show anything of a private nature to another private individual if they choose not to do so. If he does not want to release private information that is vital to determining wether he is natural born and therefore eligible to be president then he shouldn’t have run. Please read your last sentence. When you are done, consider the possibility that all the secrecy around President-elect Obama may be for “National Security” reasons. I have wondered how he may have visited Pakistan in 1981 when no other US citizens could. Sometimes in intelligence circles one never really knows who is who due to their dynamic of compartmentalization tactics. For all the mystery surrounding the next President of the United States of America it may simply come down to his long running affliation with the US intelligence communities, which we as citizens may never be in a position to ever fully comprehend. But suffice it to say, Foxy, the president-elect as far as the federal agencies tasked with determining his allegiance and elgibility don’t find him as a “clear and present danger” to the United States of America.
