I have been following the tape drama since the first announcement on the API site. I have no idea if the tapes exist but have continued to follow the intrigue because of just one line in the alleged transcript: “My husband and I know that there is no law that will stop him from becoming the president”. In this sentence, there seemed far more subtle insight into US Constitutional eligibility and associated law (or lack thereof), than an enterprising foreign Editor would need to weave into a hoax. Time will tell if I read too much into this.

If there is no tape, we can all speculate what is behind such an elaborate hoax. But, believing for a moment that the tape exists, let me tell a short tale. You can replace the from current events of your choice……

There once was a presidential candidate, well known for having entangled in his political life. Evolving beyond rumor into common knowledge while , these troubling facts remained as the low level noise in the press. But the facts never made it past the threshold of a protective mainstream media, and were never used against him by his opponent. Of course a few outraged citizens knew of his past and were deeply disturbed by what they saw as a fundamental issue of character, judgment and honesty. They were summarily dismissed as . He was voted to be president yet the facts remained too controversial to report – they offered no indication that such indiscretion would continue, or compromise his ability to carry out his job.

Emboldened, the continued. In a moment, as narcissism overcame judgment, a slight, but crucial, bit of evidence “slipped out” on to a , captured indelibly through misplaced confidence. At that moment, the became the undeniable proof, the match that could ignite the flames of a reluctant media.

The owner of the , likely motivated by , could not just run out and display it to the press – blocking and liability would ensue and there was no way to predict the outcome. It was tucked safely away as an elaborate high stakes game began to play out. First behind the scenes, with pressure, threats, dirty tricks. After enough evidence surfaced, an investigation and public denials ensued. The president confidently stood his ground as the storm brewed, knowing there was indeed a to be dealt with one day. With the as an ace in the hole, the confidant just tried to survive each day, each onslaught, long enough to play card. When the was finally turned over to a for , the game was up. The President confessed, but he had gained crucial time to control the outcome, to consolidate his power base, to make the deals he needed to make to survive, and to ensure the confidant gained little.

So, just a tall tale – you decide. If, as our protagonist has told us, his motive is to shine light on a simple truth, for his country and ours, perhaps this tall tale will find a different ending.

It’s beginning to look like we elected the Clintons back in office doesn’t it with him appointing all the Clinton people and now Hillary

    **************************
In my opinion Hillary Clinton’s acceptance of the Secretary of State appointment from Barack Obama is indicative of psychologically battered person syndrome. During the primaries, Hillary was repeatedly attacked by the media ways that were specifically geared towards her gender. No such attacks (obviously and appropriately) were aimed at Obama based on his race. Obama himself did absolutely nothing to repudiate the remarks made by media icons such as Keith Olbermann or Chris Matthews. Even female reporters jumped on the bandwagon to denegrate Senator Clinton. No word of disdain from Obama.

OK – I have looked at the Blackstone Commentary (after saving to Word and correcting the f’s and s’s – and uncrossing my eyes). My first impression is that if a person is born out of the sovereignty of a country (and the parent/s are not ambassadors of the country or king) that person is an alien of that country and could only gain citizenship through naturalization and would not be granted the privileges of being natural-born. Pretty much if you owe a natural allegiance to the country you were born in – period. There was nothing you could do to subjugate that natural loyalty (obviously you could make choice and offer your loyalty to someone else but in the eyes of the law your primary loyalty is to the country of your birth.)

There was an exception to this for ambassadors’ children born abroad. If both parents were citizens with pledged loyalty to the king then their children would be considered natural born citizens.

If anyone wants to read this in corrected English maybe I can send it to Rosetta and she could maybe forward it to whomever is interested…

Was keeping up with that and was wondering where it went to

Here’s is an opinion on Hillary being SOS. Which there was never no doubt in mind he had to offer her something to help him.
    **********************

Hillary will let Obama keep abusing her, and will always forgive him when he offers her a present and an “I’m sorry”. Watch this situation closely, for if she accepts the Secretary of State position from him, we will see it play out for us time after time. Until Obama decides that he’s tired of her, that she’s just not the fun girl that she used to be. I don’t give them long. Yet that’s not even the whole of it.

Obama, by offering her the job, is determining by her response just exactly how much abuse he can exert and keep her in line at the same time. This time he will control her political destiny, for she will serve entirely at his pleasure – and when he’s done with her, she’ll be out of work.

Mark my words, Obama will, if he so desires, make her his scapegoat for any failed policies, ensure that her good name is smeared (and the way people adore Obama, they will do and say anything that he wants), and that she will essentially become a laughing stock in the face of America and the world. If he wants to, he can, and I believe that he will.

Yes that is precisely what many of us think. The way both Obama’s treated Hillary and Bill labelling them of all people “Racist” I for one will never forget or forgive that alone.

API has gone through all articles published between the 15th of October and the 17th of November when the Michelle Obama story broke out, and realised that there were some inappropriate comments that passed through our moderation system because of a lot of work caused by the story making it almost impossible to go through the many comments that come in at the same time.

Due this factor, API has taken a decision to pull out temporarily all the articles with such comments and will delete all comments before releasing back the articles.

Any future comments will be well scrutinised and the period allowed each day for posters will be between 3 to 5 hours well monitored in order to block any bad worded comments passing through.

Most of the articles pulled out are on the Michelle Obama tape, the Imam document on Mr Obama and other sensitive stories touching on the American elections. These articles will be brought back in a few days time after all comments have been deleted. API’s enemies and jealous people had included bad links in their comments and some of them send in comments with abusive words. All these are now being deleted and our site will get back its good repute that it had before the Michelle Obama story broke out and the comments that followed thereafter.

    —————————————————————————

API will welcome posters again from tomorrow Sunday afternoon Norwegian time because deleting of the earlier bad comments has gone quicker that expected.

On Janet Porter’s Faith2Action radio program today, computer specialist Ron Polarik left no doubt the image posted as Obama’s “Certification of Live Birth” from the state of Hawaii was not genuine.

“Here’s a smoking gun,” he said. “Apparently Hawaii changes its borders [on documentation] every year. In 2007 it had a certain border, and it’s got a 2007 border. However if you dig a little deeper you find it has a 2008 signature and seal,” he said.

“Whomever did the forgery was not very clever,” he said.

You know what is kind of creepy is how much the “grassroots” “machine” Obama is building reminds me of the Cultural revolution in China in the ’60’s – the demonizing of the “old fashioned” values/traditions, utlizing local people to “keep tabs” on their neighbors (each others blogs??), the demonization of the “money makers” etc…couple that with his Civilian National Security Force and it’s enough to send chills up your spine.

My son had to read the book “The Red Scarf Girl” (I read it too) for a class he is taking on the Constitution and the Founding of the US and it was very enlightening as to what happened in China back then. Made me want to do further research – if we don’t learn from history, it will repeat itself.

I’ve seen varied comments and opinions about Hillary accepting the SOS position. I always felt that Hillary becoming POTUS would have been a 3rd term for her. Many cabinet picks under Bill were Hillary’s people that she knew she could control and did. During Bills terms, the US was sold out continually all over the world. Even Gore participated in that sell out. I’m talking about huge amounts of money that was never traced. Payoffs by Soviet mafia types and the Chinese and many more. The nuclear missile and submarine deal for Russia to sell to Iran was one that was well known but squelched in the MSM. Hillary at the SOS post puts the Clintons back in the saddle to reap a huge amount of money AGAIN. The conflict of interest is enormous. There are tens of millions and likely much more that have flowed into Bills foundations.
When I read Polarik’s comments about La Loggia and her money being stashed in Island accounts off Africa, I wondered how much the Clintons had there.

I have looked at this long and hard and what I have found is that becuase of a single misuse of a comma( , ) ArticleII is open for interpretation….If you remove the first comma then Obama is eligible, if you leave the first one there and remove the second one then he is definitely not eligible, but with both commas being there then it is open for interpretation….Take a look at Article II and do what I mentioned above and see if you can see what I’m talking about.

Factcheck did me a HUGE favor by taking those photographs. Without them, I never would have seen that what they were claiming was a 2007 Seal and Signature stamp made on a real 2007 COLB, was actually a 2008 Seal and Signature stamp on a bogus 2007 COLB!!!

  82. thinkingmom11 Says:

Troy, Here is my opinion on this: if you accept that commas are used sometimes to separate items in a list, and the eligible citizens are thus listed and separated by commas from further descriptive elements of the sentence then you should be able to remove certain items from the list and the descriptive elements should still apply to the remaining items in that list. If you do that with that sentence and remove the “or a Citizen of the United States” that leaves you with the following:

No person except a natural born citizen, at the time of the adoption of this constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President.

That obviously makes no sense. So I think that it was a comma used stylistically to mark a verbal “pause” if you will.

    What do you think?

I disagree, there is definitely overusage of commas throughout
Article II which have caused anything, but clear intent

  93. Tenacity Says:

    Thinner,
I wasn’t flipping out. Sorry if it seemed that way. Although I am not an attorney, I deal with a lot of contracts and have structured many. The word “or” is more key in the subject text than the commas. It was an interesting sidebar.

  94. Troy Says:

I agee that “or” is a heck of a lot better than “and”….I feel like I know their intent was and the omission of the second comma that they use would have left no room for interpretation

  95. thinkingmom11 Says:

right Troy, but the “at the time of the adoption of this Constitution” makes no sense when applied to the “natural born citizens.” The founding fathers were making themselves eligible to be president but trying to exclude future “alien” citizens from becoming president. They only wanted natural born citizens to be president after the men whose obvious loyalty was to the fledgling USofA were dead. You have to use Veira’s method of looking at this: what did they mean and how would it have been interpreted at the time of the writing. I think everyone back then would have understood exactly what they had in mind.

  96. Tenacity Says:

    Thin,
    Good hermeneutical analysis.

  97. thinkingmom11 Says:

No problem Tenacity – I realized you probably weren’t flipping out and I should have reworded my comment – sorry. But you are right, the “or” definately is a powerful word in contractual terms. It is a very precise word with real meaning (even if it is only 2 letters).

  98. Troy Says:

right Troy, but the “at the time of the adoption of this Constitution” makes no sense when applied to the “natural born citizens.”

    *************
I agree that the second comma could have been left out. However, it was typical and common useage at that time and is still used in that way by legal types today. In other environments, it would be considered unnecessary at best and confusing at worst.

  101. thinkingmom11 Says:

Troy – agreed – there may be one too many commas for our liking but think of it being used as in the Pledge of Allegiance – you know the “One Nation Under God” part. Today we wouldn’t put a comma between “Nation” and “under” but back then they may have just to provide for the verbal pause that they might use when speaking it out loud.

Hehehe…..I’m just telling it like it is….. a simple error in puncuation caused it to be open to interpretation.

Yes there one two many commas and a simple omission of one would make all the difference in the world.

Ok…no more from me on this!!

  106. Tenacity Says:

Did everyone agree with my comment about Hillary as SOS? Maybe no one saw it. Maybe no one thought it worth discussing. I thought it was very relevant and concerning.

    Jeopardized how?

  110. Tenacity Says:

Doing hermeneutical analysis of scripture, one has to be very careful about commas. They can completely change the interpretation. In the original writings, there were no commas. Thus, translators have added them and that has proven to be quite dangerous.

Tenacity – I for one, am not Hillary’s biggest fan. She and Bill, IMO, are shady characters at best. I am surprised she would be cleared for the SOS job with Bill’s international connections and possible “entangling alliances” (if you will). It just seems to me to be too many conflicts of interests. I would like to see her stay in the senate – she could have a lot more fun getting under Obama’s skin from there. Plus, if he turns out to be a TERRIBLE president, then she would have more freedom to run against him in ’12 (if she were to desire to do that again) if she were still in the senate.

  113. Tenacity Says:

    Cyndi,
I heard Leo bring this up at the end of the Lan show last night and was hoping for more elaboration. Leo was obviously concerned about Sabatano’s obstruction. I believe Leo thought the lower court judge might try to deliberately undermine the case by either ommitting important information or twisting the truth.

  145. Cyndi Says:

It’s like all the values that were instilled in me by my mother who was a strong conservative her belief in God, the Constitution, moral ethics, support for veterans and a true Love for our country died along with her last year. It breaks my heart I know nothing else and it is being stripped from me and do I really have a say, I mean honestly. I am a country girl not one of the elite so my opinion doesn’t matter to those that run this country, they run it not for the good of the people but for their own good and their agendas. Only God knows truly who the corrupt are and so I stick by God’s side as he is my only hope to everlasting freedom.

Troy – I agree with you wholeheartedly – “This dude is BAD NEWS for this country”. I have relatives that are so happy about him – it is painfully difficult to see them, even though I want to spend as much time as possible with people who are close to me. Some will simply not believe anything until it is presented by the mainstream media.

I am hoping and praying for the Supreme Court to thoroughly look at the qualification issues (birth certificate, Indonesian status, selective service, etc.).

I don’t know, we may have had presidents who were not very well qualified, but is hard to imagine any of them having the total lack of experience that Barack Obama has. He seems to be such a blank slate that anyone who is powerful could take advantage of his inexperience and make him into a likeable candidate who can be used.

Enough said, I need to get back to Thanksgiving preparations.

  154. Tenacity Says:

    Okay, now I’m hungry…bbl

  155. thinkingmom11 Says:

That’s right Cyndi, just because Washington isn’t reflecting your views, don’t forget there are a whole lot of other “regular folks” who feel the same way you do. I live in CA (was raised in TX) and it is hard to raise kids out here according to my personal worldveiw but I do the best I can and live my life the way I believe is right and no government can take that from me. They may be able to make it more difficult but I am up for the fight. Sometimes good things come through hard times. I tell people that sometimes you have to go through some really rought times to truely appreciate the really good times. My hope is that this country will emerge from these “hard times” with a new found appreciation for the good times. But it will take people like you and me and the others on this website and others to start standing up and making noise and defending what we believe in. So refocus that discouragement into action and make your voice heard.

  156. thinkingmom11 Says:

bbl – gonna take the little ones for some ice cream…

  157. Cyndi Says:

Tenacity that is probably the only thing that would save us. I hate that it would have to come to that. But there needs to be an overhaul of the entire system. Maybe we need to revert back to simplier times.

Mom very good idea. I wish that we had someone to look up to or look forward to in 2012 someone that we can stand behind now and help push into the future. Because this needs to be in the works now not 2 years from now. Who do you all think would be good leaders for our future? Any ideas?

  160. j.b. Says:

Hi, I’m a lurker, reader, agree-er. Especially what Cindy said in the last three or so posts. I feel SO helpless over it all…..and pissed!
I try to stay away from “it” for just ONE day and yet here I am…..one half day after my s’posed commitment- to see if there is anything “new”.
So pissed about the Leo sabatoge I just read about, too.

    Sometimes I make up signs in my mind to put in my yard (to throw in my Obama supporter neighbors’ face) like;
    Obama
    faux
    President.
    Or;
Some Change………(in the vein of, Some Pig from Charlottes’ Web, sort of.)

I just never thought this would really happen. Most of my family (siblings, their spouses and kids) voted for O’Liar and these are intelligent people……THEY DON’T KNOW HIM! I want to scream at them…….”WTF were you thinking? Did you read anything about HIM? Or did you just watch NBC?”

I am angry. I am scared. I am an eeyore (admittedly, unrecovering). *sigh*

  161. Cyndi Says:

Well I am gonna take off for now. Have a good day all!

  162. hockeyfan530 Says:

sorry to bring up the comma again but i think the second comma

“No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President”

is used to further clarify the “or a Citizen of the United States” statement.

so it’s not a problem at all. I would say the first was is peculiar in todays language as there are only 2 possibilities so it’s not a list

  163. sba1872 Says:

Hi, all! Just got in from work and finished reading all your informative comments. Going to take a look at Leo’s newly refurbished pad because I’ve been thinking about it all day and I have some questions about his filings. Before I go, just wanted to point out that I was incorrect in assuming that Judge Sabatino is a Republican. I don’t know what party he belongs to. I’ve been informed by a trusted source that NJ appoints its State Judges with an equal party balance, no matter who the Governor is at the time. So, for example, if a Republican judge retires or resigns, the sitting Governor appoints a Republican to fill the judge’s spot. And I believe that is done based upon recommendations from the State bar as well. I don’t know what vacancy Sabatino filled, but hopefully, that made no difference in how he treated Leo’s case. Hope to catch you guys later.

  167. thinkingmom11 Says:

Well, I am back from the ice cream run…if Cyndi gets back I wanted to let her know that there are a few fresh faces out there for Republicans – in particular Bobby Jindal, Gov. of LA, and Michael Steele former lt. gov of Maryland. These guys are sharp as tacks! Bobby can be pretty funny too. I like Sarah Palin and hope she survives the harpooning she got this year. I want to see her get to work in Alaska, bone up on international affairs and REALLY prepare for the battle next time. I would be interested in hearing of other female Republican rising stars if anyone has any other in mind.

Fool – you are in good company here! I don’t think anyone here is a fan of Obama’s. I personally think that there are some scary times ahead. In fact the first article I ran across when I was looking into who this Obama guy was, was at faithfreedom.org/obama.htm where the guy laid out a pretty convincing arguement that Obama has some pretty scary personality traits in common with such notables as Kohmeni, Stalin, Hitler, Lenin, Mao etc. That REALLY got my attention. And to tell you the truth, my opinion of him hasn’t gone up much since!

  170. katy123 Says:

    Cyndi-
I printed your comments and have been reading them. My sister died October 22, 2007 – she and I are/were both country girls with strong conservative beliefs, belief in God and country. I understand about your mother – my sister and I emailed one another several times each day and were constant supports to one another.

Our opinion matters – each of us has one voice, but together we are a multitude.

OBAMA: Well one of things that I’ve said, and I’ve said this repeatedly publicly, since I taught constitutional law for ten years is that…one of my first acts as president is going to be call in my new attorney general to review every single executive order that’s been issued… to overturn those that are undermining the Constitution, undermining our civil liberties, that are promoting this cockamamie theory of Unitary government, that says that somehow the executive branch does not need to obey the Constitution…uhh ……..

    “Undermining the constitution?” omg.

  174. thinkingmom11 Says:

JB – usually the first time you post you go into moderation until Rosetta lets you out – then you are able to post freely. Also – if you have links, leave of the ..www.. part – you should be good to go if you do that

  175. sba1872 Says:

Leo’s new site doesn’t have a lot of the old info on it. Anyone know if the filings are still available anywhere else?

  176. thinkingmom11 Says:

Tenacity – I am familiar with the existence of Meyers-Briggs but that is about the extent of it! I may have known a little more years ago but have forgotten – the letters seems very familiar – maybe from my psychology class in college…is there a website you can direct me to for further study?

  177. whatafoolbelieves1 Says:

j.b. that is why we Americans who support our Constitution must be active and let our voices be heard. We cannot sit back quietly. Mainstream media did us a huge disservice. It seems that the internet is the only way to disseminate information now. Having said that, it is strange how many sites negative toward Obama have been crashed. I know that sounds paranoid but ………………

  178. sba1872 Says:

    JB says:

“snipped from newsbusters……..this kind of stuff just makes me wanna h u r l!
    knowhatImean?”

Yes, I do. He gives lip service to transparency and accountability, but I have little hope for that in an Obama administration.

  179. thinkingmom11 Says:

JB – yeah, it’s hard to listen to Obama talk about defending the Constitution when he himself feels like it is faulty! He also was disappointed that the Supreme Court didn’t break away from the necessary Constitutional restraints when dealing with redistribution of wealth!! “Yeah, we REALLY beleive you, Mr. Obama. wink wink”

  180. thinkingmom11 Says:

Well, everyone, it has been a good day here. Thanks for the great conversation and discussion. I have GOT to get out from in front of my keyboard and clean house and cook dinner. Hope everyone has a fine evening. Check in with things later tonight…

  181. Tenacity Says:

I’m sure there are some sites, but my knowledge came through my small group facilitation training and communication classes. You could find a site as fast as I can. I can give a quick study if you or others are interested. My point is that there are 2 types of leadership types. There is a gender bias only in how we make decisions. Society has historically not favored females with personalities that possess traits that accompany these leadership types. Some of the smartest women have chosen to not take leadership roles that would propel them onto the public scene. If this is of interest, I will elaborate…if not, okay. Some don’t like to discuss this kind of detail on a blog site and I respect that.

  182. j.b. Says:

Thanks for your insight and opinions. I signed up at freedommarch (?) and never heard back from them. I half wondered if it was because in my application I (for whatever reason) said, “Oh and I believe Larry Sinclair, too!” 🙂

I do not think it sounds paranoid concerning (and considering) ALL those sites crashing, either. The truth hurts, I guess, and then you set out to destroy it. Well, if your initials are BO anyway.
    Narcissism kills.

Still reading everything at Leo’s. But I loved this recent notice:

    “PENDING DEFAMATION SUITS

    To whom it may concern,

I have seen my good name made filthy by various comments on blogs regarding my law license. This coupled with the Judicial misconduct I was privy to and the clerical sabotage the case has been subjected to in the US Supreme Court, evidence that my case vs. the New Jersey Secretary of State has strong merit and is causing fear to those who may be potentially effected by the case.

For the record, I was admitted to practice law in the State of New Jersey and the Federal District Courts in 1991. I graduated from St. John’s University, School of Law in 1990. I retired my law license a few years back to pursue my love of the arts and golf. Last year, I found that I had a skill for tournament poker and in 2008, I turned pro and have won two significant tournaments this year including a World Series of Poker Circuit event Gold/Diamond ring.

You may see my Bluff Magazine profile here:

    Bluff Magazine.com/players/leo-donofrio/42071/player-profile.asp

My law license is clean as a whistle and I may return to practice law at any time simply by writing a letter and paying NJ Client Protection fees to the State of New Jersey.

Be warned, whether you are making comments or hosting comments at a blog or website, I will sue, for defamation, any responsible parties. Unfortunately, if they are not removed from his blog, I will be forced to set an example and have my personal attorney file a defamation suit immediately.

I will not sit by and watch my good name by made filthy just because I brought a fair and legal law suit which is now properly before the US Supreme Court.

    Very Truly Yours,

    Leo C. Donofrio”

    JJones,
you and I are both listed amoung about 11 followers over at Leo’s new site…I’m a little confused by his site tho…Is there a place where people are commenting with each other at his new site?

  192. Interested Bystander Says:

    Hey All,

    jj,

I thought Korir was in Canada. What happened to that?

I do not think there is a tape. Come on, his post is full of “fear for me and my family”, and the fact is, that IF he had anything, he would be safer if he released it.

If something happened to him or his family after the release, then all fingers would be pointing at Obama.

The longer he supposedly holds on to this tape (and I also have a problem with him referring to them as TAPES) the more danger he puts him and his family.

I don’t see why he doesn’t understand this.

The way he has handled this whole thing is pretty questionable.

I am hopeful that there is a tape, but as a reasonable thinking person, this whole situation comes under much scrutiny.

    Many, many unasnswered questions.

Kind of reminds me of the Larry Sinclair issue, which is still unfolding, and Larry still can’t get his credit card statement, or phone records.

My statement is “yeah right Larry”.

In the same vein, “yeah right Korir”.

  193. jjones35811 Says:

    not sure,

  195. Troy Says:

  196. Interested Bystander Says:

So it’s against the blog rules to raise legitimate questions?

I see you don’t have any reasonable answers.

  197. jjones35811 Says:

    IB,
I agree completely. I don’t thik there is a tape based on the fact there is absolutely NO evidence of one. Also, he has provided absolutely no support for any of his claims. So, I’ll believe it when I see it. In the mean time, I’m not holding my breath

  198. ILBlue Says:

    Troy…

    🙂

  199. Interested Bystander Says:

What did I post that wasn’t true? Or even controversial?

Didn’t Korir post he was going to Canada? Is he supposedly there now? Has he flown back to Norway?

The fact is I want to believe they both are being truthful.

    That’s what my heart wants.

My reasonable thoughts are that both are just stringing their followers along.

I want to be proven wrong.

  200. Interested Bystander Says:

    Troy,.

Please remind me what I posted that isn’t welcome here.

  201. thinkingmom11 Says:

Yeah – I decided to check in for a sec…I don’t want to even get into a discussion about the tapes and how they were handled…everything that can be said about it has been said. We all stand here pretty darn skeptical but with a tiny bit of hope that refuses to completely die. It is a hope to small to hang much of anything on – but I guess that is just the optimist in me 🙂

  202. ILBlue Says:

Then you’ll just have to wait along with everyone else. No one knows anything for sure do they?

No, I never said that….I seriously doubt that there is a tape also and I believe Sinclair has been telling the truth since day one.
What I’m saying is a lot of us came here to get the heck away from all of the API haters over at MS….Most of us here are sick of even hearing people talk about API and we are focusing on Obama’s constitutiona eligibilty instead….The whole API thing is so stale and isn’t even worth comment…If a tapr emerges then believe me it will go viral within a couple of hours…There is no need to check in at API or even mention them again…There are simply more important issues right now.

  205. jjones35811 Says:

OK, I still can’t post at API

  206. thinkingmom11 Says:

    Ok,

Has anyone brought up that Obama traveled to Pakistan on an Indonesian Passport when he was in college (around 1981)

Would this not indicate that he renounced his citizenship? I have seen the argument posted that parents can not renounce their children’s US citizenship, but this would have been at Obama’s own “adult” decision making.

  215. Troy Says:

Ok, I have a suggestion…..Starting now, we quit using the terms, “API” and “tape” and move on….Does that sound good to anyone?

  216. whatafoolbelieves1 Says:

Some love to hang on to Korir’s promises, let go. True or not, it will have little impact now. I think the disabling of the credit card verification on Barack Obama’s site is far more incriminating. Strange that many contributiions ended in cents. Also strange that people, like myself, were able to use phony names to donate token amounts to Obama’s campaign.

  217. Interested Bystander Says:

Obama’s passport docs have been sealed also, so your post is logical speculation, but unfortunately can’t be proven….It Is though darn likely to be true.

  221. thinkingmom11 Says:

Oh Come ON!! If you must discuss here is what I think

OK maybe there isn’t any logical reason to want the tape out there BUT who is going to argue that the voting public has been very logical lately. So consider this – the tape comes out, MO is ranting and raving, apparently about a wide range of issues some with racist attitudes, some regarding (supposedly) national security, etc…THAT kind of thing might get peoples’ attention so that when the REAL issues come to light they maybe aren’t so shocked. We have a pop culture that would rather read the National Enquirer than the Constitution so I say WHATEVER it take to get their attenion – let’s have it!

  222. Tenacity Says:

    jj,
Point being API is of little interest at this point. The only way K redeems himself is proving that he actually has the goods.
I do believe the tape would have some benefit. For one it may take some of the luster off The One and his mate. Anything that will take them off the pedestal for those with blinders on will help. It could even save lives. Lets say BO is brought up on charges or deemed not eligible. We could be looking at riots. If the tape is real and heard, then people might be less likely to go nuts when BO is taken down.

  223. Interested Bystander Says:

Do you think the FEC is going to audit his campaign contributions?

    Lots of evidence.

Kind of like “curiosity killed the cat” type of thing. No bad intentions on the part of the employee, just curious as to what they could find.

    Troy,
wasn’t there some issue several months ago about some low level contract employees trying to access his poassport documentation? I seem to recall something to that effect

    ————————————————————
I think so and they seal all candidates passport info….I think this is correct, not 100% sure

  231. Interested Bystander Says:

    Thinning,

I think this is going to be the biggest issue with this Administration, and Congress.

There is no checks in place anymore.

And it keeps looking more and more like a “super” majority in the Senate.

Can’t believe they keep finding more votes for Franken in Minnessota, but Coleman isn’t getting any more votes. Interesting to say the least.

I know the FEC is supposed to be bi-partisan. Yeah right.

  232. Tenacity Says:

I was under the impression that it was announced that there would be no audit of BO’s fund raising in spite of $63MM with no known source.

  233. jjones35811 Says:

    IB,
Yeah, that was the story we were told… I think there might be a bit more to it, we will probably never find out of course. But I think it is quite coincidental. Let’s just say it is another warning flag going off in my head

  234. whatafoolbelieves1 Says:

An FEC audit could stil happen especially is concerned citizens email them en masse. The message to the FEC, we are not stupid. We know tht the contributions showing dollars and cents are foreign donation conversions. Do the right thing and don’t insult the intelligence of Americans.

  235. Troy Says:

Mom, you have already seen this video, but for others, if you have not watched this then do so….It’s a bit of education on EXACTLY what Leo will be facing with the SCOTUS.

You are wrong. There are many people interested in the fact that foreign money helped elect Obama. I guess you have not been perusing the internet.

  238. jjones35811 Says:

    Tenacity,
I think they(FEC) made some anouncement recently that they were going to investigate BO. At first, they were definately going to look at McCains but not Obama, I think there was a bit of a backlash so they anounced a few days latter that they would be looking at BO as well

  239. Interested Bystander Says:

    what,

The MSM has been insulting our intelligence for over a year now.

I would suspect that the FEC thinks they can do the same.

Has anyone seen the study about negative stories on Obama versus McCain?

No bias in the MSM? Can you say “drink more kool aid”?

  240. thinkingmom11 Says:

Another thing about the Fraken issue – I blame those problems on that pesky (although I do have a few *choiser* adjectives that I will keep in my head for now) third party nonsense. Don’t people know not to do that when there are important issues on the line!!! Like not letting a knuckle-headed, foul-mouthed former “comedian” get elected! to quote Troy– grrrrrrrr

  241. jjones35811 Says:

    Whatafool,
Sorry, what I meant was there would not be enough of a voice to push the issue and the MSM will not help. Just like the birth certificate issue. Yes, there are people that really think this thing should be persued, I just don’t think that it will amount to much even though BO is the most fraudulent politician ever

  242. Troy Says:

    Grrrrrrrrrrr, indeed!!!!

  243. Interested Bystander Says:

    jj,

I heard that the FEC was still on the fence about auditing Obama’s contributions, but they were looking in to it.

Is it true that there are fewer rules because he opted out of “Public Matching Funds”, and went the “private funding” route?

  244. thinkingmom11 Says:

IB – it does seem the public is only interested in a juicy scandal if it is starring a republican. I think even our democratic leaning friends here would have to agree with that.

  247. Interested Bystander Says:

    thinning,

I think it’s the same in Alaska isn’t it?

I heard Stevens was ahead by a few thousand votes, and they only had the absentee votes to count, and most of them were made before the verdict came down.

Stevens won “Alaskan of the 20th Century” back in the day, so I would find it hard to believe that the absentee votes went for his opponent (sorry I don’t even know who that is).

  248. Troy Says:

Has anyone seen the pic of Franken in a diaper?….and he wants to hold public office huh?…..Lordy

  249. Interested Bystander Says:

It just baffles me to no end.

Obama was on 60 Minutes last week, and the interviewer wouldn’t even ask him about his Birth Certificate, or his college papers.

  254. thinkingmom11 Says:

franken is a disgrace not only to the Democratic party but to mankind (and some of the animal world) as a whole.

Stevens would have won in a landslide if he had agreed to step down if the verdict came back “Guilty” therefore allowing Palin to appoint a republican replacement. His main problem is pride. BUT – there is something fishy going on up there with the vote count to, I think.

Fair is fair and I don’t care what party their needs to be balanced reporting and in depth reporting of anyone running for office. Obviously never to happen again.

    IL,

Our only hope is that this wakes up the majority of people who believe in the Constitution, and get them to run for office.

I think there needs to be term limits set.

I think there should be a system in place so that the people have some recourse for what Congress does.

Like raises, who would vote against a raise for themselves? Or more benefits, or a pansion (for serving only two terms)

There needs to be something in place that says that this should be agreed upon by the majority of the citizens. Kind of like a referendum is.

They believed that the leaders of this country should be the best and brightest, moral and humble leaders with public virtue (sacrificing personal needs and gains for the public good). A little issue here and there is one thing but a pattern of abusive behaviour (personal or otherwise), massive character flaws, and lack of clear judgement should preclude anyone from being president. I have a hard time separating the man from his actions, decisions, associations etc. I mean, seriously, we are a sum of our parts – our decisions, mistakes, successes, friends, classes, mentors etc are all part of who we are. People need to put together all the peices of the puzzle that is Obama – and see if it is a picture of a president. To me it just isn’t. Sorry.

But ask them about “Dancing With The Stars” or “American Idol” or sports and they can talk your ear off with facts.

The people here and through out the web are interested but unfortunately too many more are not.

Say for instance if you payed attention the past 2 yrs to Congress and then put 2 and 2 together even if you voted for the Dem POTUS WHY in heavens name if you wanted change would you vote these people back in power in the Congress with the Majority.

As I said I’m a Dem but I’m not the New Undemocratic Party Dem. And actions on either side have consequences.

My point is that people can change with time. Because someone has a bit of a shady past does not diqualify them immediately. Yes, character matters, past matters, but if a person can overcome thier past transgressions, it should not be held against them unless there is some debt to society they still owe. If I may, I will use myself as an example, as a youth, I was not the brightest. I did some things that were, well….lets just say not smart. I turned my life around and now am well adjusted and doing quite well thank you. Does my past diqualify me from being a leader? ( not that I have any intention of running for any office )

AH!!!!….Thank You Mom!!!!…..I can count the times on one hand that I have been to church in my entire life, so I’m not some sort of bible thumping religeous zealot…..But our country has gone to hell in a hand basket when it comes to morals and values….These are thing that I acquired by being raised by two sound parents and God and religeon had nothing to do with it…..Our society has been eroding on a steady basis for a long time now…The family unit is all but shot….mass shootings in schools and workplaces, the definition of a virgin is now= an ugly 3rd grader….I could go on and on, but I won’t….If something doesn’t give soon we will pass the point of ever being able to recover.

At some point I guess we will hit the proverbial rock bottom and finally look up – and hopefully we will still be able to see the light.
