“API/US Cable Network agreement details on airing of Michelle Obama tapes: Join Final Conference call today (October 27th) and get opportunity to ask direct questions”

Seeing this at cinie’s blog:

Reminded me of the following:

It appears that some in the anti-Korir crowd will try to discredit him with this:

A day-dreaming Senior Diplomat dismissing Korir as “phony” on Kabuga’s whereabout will soon eat his own words when Mr Kabuga resurface

We hope our readers understand how difficult some negotiations can be especially when there are considerations to be taken into acount as a result of wishes of the people involved. However, things have moved very fast and we can now confirm that API is in agreement with A US Cable TV Network and the Michelle Obama tapes will be aired without unnecessary delay.

The remaining problem to be solved now is the legal representation and we believe this hurdle will also be sorted out now that people involved have finally realised further delay is creating a very unhealthy atmosphere to all concerned.

New changes in the deal is that we have to deal with the fact that the Network Channel will have their lawyer as a very active (not passive) participant.

ON the question of legal representation, the Cable TV Network decided against having Attorney Berg as API lead legal adviser. They state that Mr Berg may not handle the situation in a neutral manner. Changes had to be agreed upon in the last minute of discussions a few minutes ago. Due to the sensitive nature of the tapes, API will now have a total of 3 active legal representatives. A Canadian born Lawyer has been appointed to head the API legal team. Two US born lawyers (Attorney Berg) and (Attorney Dowd of Washington) will be assisting the Canadian born Attorney.

API expects to get green light any time from now to publicly announce the name of the airing Network so as to be able to release the details in the agreement shortly or during the Conference call. When it comes to the timing of the announcement of the name of the Cable Network they must give API the green light because they want to be fully prepared to handle the pressure expected to come from circles interested in the contents of the tape.

Interested readers who wish to participate in the Conference call are advised to register now by giving their Chat-Nickname and the telephone number and if anyone wants to include the real name, they are much welcome, but then the real name must come after the “Chat Name” so that we easily identify those who we can trust to have as participants in order to avoid having disruptive elements gaining access to a very important discussion.

We appeal to those who want to derail things happening to desist from registering for the conference call.

Now that things are nearing the end, API will no longer allow any one to be rude, abusive or disrespect the site in any way. Any abuse will be met with blockage of the IP address immediately. We therefore appeal to our readers to respect this time and hour of important decisions being made for the benefit of serious people who would like to know the truth before the 4th of November.

Those who register are informed that their telephone numbers will not be passed on to anybody nor will it be misused in any way.

It would be wise to have 3 or 4 people in the conference group to ask the final questions so that answers are given to every question. We are talking of the readers being organised when asking questions instead of everybody doing it.

As you all know, we had a good discussion session (Live telephone conference yesterday October 26th) and the participants had the opportunity to meet the Chief editor and ask direct questions.

For those interested email your details to africanpress@getmail.no but do not include questions.

* THE TIME OF THE CONFERENCE WILL BE ANNOUNCED HERE WHEN WE GET THE FEEDBACK FROM THE TV NETWORK! WE WILL MAKE SURE YOU GET THE MESSAGE ONE WAY OR ANOTHER. WE DEPEND ON THE NETWORK’S FEEDBACK BEFORE WE FIX THE TIME.

What wonderful news – I am so happy to hear of your progress in getting these tapes released!

  2. Mainstream180 Says:

I hope to God this is true. Until I hear it I’ll likely remain suspicious that some sort of sleight-of-hand may be at play. It wouldn’t be a terrible strategy (if hypothetically no such tape exists) for the Obama camp to start this rumor in order to distract attention away from Rezko, Wright, Olinsky, Aires, Dorn, etc.

  3. calli Says:

This is a distraction!! The Obama camp is laughing behind the scenes at those have who believe the tapes exist!! Sorry!!!
I had a chance to talk with several democrats today who say they are going to vote republican for the first time!!!
