An interesting nugget of information appears on the Fight the Smears website of Barack Obama. FactCheck.org is verifying that Barack Obama was once a citizen of Kenya. Obama had Kenyan citizenship until 1982.

From the Obama website: “When Barack Obama Jr. was born on Aug. 4, 1961, in Honolulu, Kenya was a British colony, still part of the United Kingdom’s dwindling empire. As a Kenyan native, Barack Obama Sr. was a British subject whose citizenship status was governed by The British Nationality Act of 1948. That same act governed the status of Obama Sr.’s children.”

Since Sen. Obama has neither renounced his U.S. citizenship nor sworn an oath of allegiance to Kenya, his Kenyan citizenship automatically expired on Aug. 4, 1982.”

This was brought up due to the confusion over Obama’s refusal to release his original birth certificate. A Clinton supporter, Phil Berg, in Philadelphia filed a lawsuit over it. On August 21, just four days before the beginning of the Democrat convention, the lawsuit was filed as a method of removing Obama from the November ballot, with the specific claim he was born in Kenya and not the U.S.

This is brought to light by NewsBusters. A day after the lawsuit was filed, a federal judge denied a motion of a temporary restraining order that Berg requested. Berg’s lawsuit demands Obama release the long version of his original birth certificate, not the one currently on the website, thought by many to be a photoshopped version.

So, rather than cooperate and release the full birth certificate, the candidate claiming to be all about transparency has forced his smears website to bring his Kenyan citizenship into the mix. It’s an interesting fact laid out there now.

Obama should never have been allowed to run for president of the US!! Hillary should have been the nominee given the primary election was stolen from her in the first place!!

  2. rosettasister Says:

    Hi, Calli!

I remember hearing about a journalist who admitted back in 2004 that the reason he or she wasn’t covering a story was because “it will help Bush.”

The same is being done in 2008. Any story that would harm Obama or help McCain just isn’t being covered.

I think this scares me more than the thought of an Obama administration.

  3. calli Says:

Obama and his associations are scary enough!! Journalists can be easily be fired!! I imagine all his terrorists friend and associations are in place!!!

  4. rosettasister Says:

“Journalists can be easily be fired!!”

    Good morning, calli!

Maybe that’s why journalists in general aren’t being more even handed.

Perhaps we need to look at who controls the major television networks and major newspapers in this country.

Popular talk radio at least leans to the right.

Studies have shown that Fox News really is fair and balanced.

And yet they are routinely portrayed as being right-wing hacks.

Did Polarik release part two yet?

  6. rosettasister Says:

“Did Polarik release part two yet?”

    Funny you should ask, Miri.

I was just about to post this:

    To: pissant

Except he has freeper Polarik on his team now. And the COLB is a fraudulent document

Thank you, Pissant. And the factCheck photos are even more fraudulent. Part II is being held back for the moment, and we’re waiting for Obama and the DNC make their move.
