    Yes, I am so glad that Gore invented the internet.

    Actually, I remember writing a paper around 1990 on this. And Gore did in fact have a lot to do with getting this show on the road.

    For public use, maybe. But the internet was around for military use for sometime before Gore was around. Wasn’t it the Clinton administration that opened up GPS for public use too?
